    • Shannon

Sweet! I am desperate for dry erase markers!

    • Shelleypickett

Are the Office Depot rebates similar to the Staples rebates?

      • Jamie

How does the Staples rebates work? With OD, you join their free Worklife Rewards (just like all these grocery store cards). When you buy something, at least on these mail-in rebates, they print out a form for you to fill in your address. Send that in with the receipt, and in 4-6 weeks, you get a rebate. In my case, they've been prepaid Visa cards, but they are all small, like $6.99 for one. HTH!

    • Jhperry

Are these deals local, I only see the dry erase marker deal in my local ad?

      • 3monkeysmom

I was wondering that too….everything is in my ad ( B'ham) but the price for the stapler is $3, not $1.99……guess it doesn't matter that much, it will still be free after rebate and will help get to the $25 quicker than buying a million folders :-)

        • Jennifer B.

The ad here in northwest Louisiana about the stapler reads: “Free After $1.99 Instant & $3 Mfr. Mail-In Savings, In Store Price $3.00”

Our ad states the 5 cent folders are limited to only 5 per household/business, which isn't even enough for one of my children's school lists!

          • 3monkeysmom

My ad says what your's says…..so the regular price should be $4.99 minus the $1.99 instant savings, making it $3. Then the rebate is for $3.
It's listed here as free after $1.99 rebate….
Yeah, they sure do put small limits on their items..so does Staples :-)

      • Huskins

I'm only seeing the dry erase markers in my circular too. Maybe it is regional.? I went on-line to see an on-line circular, but didn't see the deals Jenny mentioned there either.

      • barbara

same in longview tx -maybe next wk-think i will go to store and ask

    • 3monkeysmom

How does their rebate system work? Do I need to sign up for anything before I go shopping or do I just go shopping and then sign up for the rebates??
      Thanks :-)

      • Joyfulcreations2

They have a rewards card program, but these are different. they print out your rebate from after you pay and then you mail them in. I did some of these last week…I was wondering if we can use these Visa cards anywhere? Does any one know?
        Thanks,
        joyce

        • susansaver

I bought some stuff at Office Depot on Black Friday last year that had rebates in the form on prepaid Visa cards. You can use them anywhere.

          • joyce

            Thank you:)
Do you know if there is a limit on how many of these cards we can turn rebates in for?

    • Sam2sharon

when I click the link to print the $10 coupon, I get a dialog box to either Open or Save the pdf file but when I choose open, it doesn't open. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I am experiencing it on a couple of the coupon links for Rite Aid as well. Wasn't sure if there is an easy fix or if I possibly have a virus….Thanks

    • Tracy

Anyone know if this can be done online? No Office Depot around here :(

      • Ajshevak

The $10 off coupon says “valid in-store only”. Sorry!

    • Alysia

My ad (Nashville) states Limit 5 on all the rebate offers…is the rebate only for one or for all five??

      • Joyce

Meaning that we can only send in 5 rebate offers from this week's ad, or total forms for the visa cards? I'd like to know, too. This seems to be getting very complicated:(

    • vanessa

The limit on the purell is 5 and I bought 5, but 5 rebate forms printed out. Do I have to mail each one in a separate envelope or do all five go in the same envelope?

      • Jennifer

I was wondering the same thing. I did a deal last week and three rebate forms printed out but at the top is says 3-items purchased. I dont want them to think I am trying to cheat by submitting it 3 times but I am not sure. Their website wasnt clear either. So I am sending each one in a seperate envelope…

        • Jennifer B.

The form online for the Expo markers (just as an example) states: “Limit one mail-in savings per household/business. All qualified items must be listed on the same receipt.”

I would NOT send off three forms separately, nor waste the extra stamps.

Also, see the very first comment above from Bradyk.

          • Janey

your receipt has to accompany, as jennifer b points out. several months ago i bought two reams of paper that were just a few cents after the mail-in rebate. i paid for both of them at the same time (on the same receipt), but two rebate forms printed out. i mailed the receipt and both completed rebate forms in the same envelope. it wasn't quick, but i did get my full rebate for both reams.

        • Derek

I bought multiple of something last week and called customer service–they said you must submit each rebate separately…she understood that it may appear silly to do so, but told me that was just the way it is done for office depot rebates…I wish they would do the online ones like Staples!

          • Jenichthus

i bought 5 of the purells, and i called cust. serv. just to check, and the lady i talked to told me to submit only 1 of the 5 rebate forms that printed out (which she says can't be helped) and to circle where it says 5 x at the top of the form and to circle all 5 of them on the receipt to send with it. that's just one stamp for multiples of the same thing.

    • Sandra

I don't see the Crates on the online rebate center list under Office depot and there isn't a number to look it under or anything…

    • Lauren

Do I need to purchase each rebate item seperate? And I do not recommend buying any of the school supplies as it will ALL go 1 cent later in the season, and Wal-Mart will price match for much better quility stuff.

      • Nursecrain

Some people (myself included) would rather spend a few extra pennies and avoid Walmart. I hate Walmart.

        • joyce

Also, we are making money off this with the $10 coupon. Worth it to put the money up front and make $6:)

    • Lynn

where do I get the rebate form? I live in NC and my Sunday ad didn't say anything about a rebate. thanks

      • joyce

They should print off at the register….but it would be in the sale ad if it is a deal in your area.

    • Couponcrazymom

I printed the $10 off $25 from the link Jenny provided, but upon further evaluation of the Q, it says no photocopies accepted. So where did the original come from?

      • Lrae17

I think that's referring to photocopies of what you printed off. In other words, you can't make duplicates (copies) of your “original” print.

      • Lookingup7777

That means you can not make copies of the coupon you printed. Each time the coupon “prints” it is give a different code.

      • The link takes you to a page on Office Depot's site. This was sent in a weekly email with the ad preview last Thursday.

    • Brandyk

Warning! My circular says limit 3 staplers, I got 3 rebate forms from the register, and they say limit one per household. This is incredibly misleading – I hope it's just an error but don't do what I did and remove all the UPCs from the packages!!!

You shouldn't purchase each item separately. If you are getting 5 purells they all have to be on the same receipt. Ymmv on sending in the rebates in different envelopes. I asked by email last week and OD stated you can send in rebates for the same item together.

      • Brandyk

Ok I got some info in this issue. Apparently they did this last year andchanged the rebate to match the ad. And the each qualifying item language actually refers to deals where you would, say, buy tape and a tape dispenser in order to get the rebate. Each of those “qualifying items” would have to be on the same receipt.

        • Joyce

          Brandyk,
So if I bought 2 packs of paper last week bc that was the limit and sent in two rebae forms (both printed from the register) and I getting the visa cards for both?

      • Jenichthus

my rebate form from the 1 stapler that i got (it was the only one left) says limit 3 per household.

    • new2coupons

My circular does not show any rebates (The list that you have mentioned with free after rebates).Where can I find them?I could not find them online too. Please help

    • Raynesmw

None of these deals were at my Office Depot in NC. Totally different ad.

      • JessicaJ

        Same here in Greensboro

      • piratemommy

        same in greenville

    • Melissa

Can I use purell coupons at Office Depot?

    • Justbamom

If you go to Office Depot's online site, you will find a link to the rebate center which allows you to search for available rebates. Not all appear in the weekly circular. All of the ones that were listed here are listed online except for the crate.

    • cheryl

These deals are not available in So California.

    • Olisa56

The only rebate form I have not been able to find is the one for office depot brand filing/stacking crates! Has anyone been to OD and purchased these? Did the rebate print out. I could not find them on the rebate center on the OD website……Thanks for the responses….

      • Jenichthus

i got the rebate forms: they printed out at the register.

      • redteapot

My daughter went to OD and got the items listed on the Deal from Jenny. They were out of the 2 post its and when she got home she has spent more than the 13.00 on the deal and the only rebates that printed out were for the crate and Purell. Did you get a rebate form for the stapler, and expo markers?

        • redteapot

i just called office depot. They shorted me the rebates on stapler and markers. So ladies and gents, make sure you have all your rebates before you leave the store. We have to go back to get ours. :( bummer.

          • Olisa56

You can go to the office depot website and go to the rebate center. In the search field put in office supplies and hit search. This will show you a screen with all rebates that are going on right now. You can print out the rebate for the stapler, the purell and the expo markers right now. This is acceptable I checked with the store….Hope this helps

    • TF

I'm confused. I went this afternoon and the only items that were the prices listed above were the dry erase markers and the purell. I got the rebates form for those, but the paper was 4 for $5 and the stapler was $3.99. An employee scanned the stapler for me and it came up as $3.99, so were some of these deals regional? I also didn't find the 2-pocket folders for 5cents. I bought a small white board that we needed so I was able to use the $10 off.

    • CA

Just wanted to update….It looks like the only rebate available in SW Florida is for the Dry Erase Markers. I was so excited to make money off my purchases, but now it looks like that won't happen….We do have the Post It Labels for 99 cents :-)

    • GSO, NC

I did get the dry erase markers and the Post it label pads in Greensboro…The one on Battleground had both.

    • Sdavisva

When I printed my Post-It coupons, they came out at a garbled mess….Anyone else? At first glance it looks like it's written in Spanish. But it's really just random letters…weird. The pdf looks fine when I got to print it!

    • Lsb1997

Ummm. None of them print off the receipt. But they are all online except the crate. Thanks for all the help…not.

    • Brownebaby

Did anyone find the crate online at the rebate center. if so please let me know what you put in the search field to pull it up. i was able to find the purell and the stapler

      • Olisa56

I couldn't find the crates rebate online at the rebate center or at the store on Independence. I guess it is just regional…..

    • Janey

Just a heads up – the 2 pocket paper folios and the notebook filler paper both have a max of 5 deals per family. After 5 you get charged regular price. For the scenario it works fine.

BUT they were out of the post it notes and the fashion portfolios/notebooks, so I had $4 to make up. I saw the $3 ream of paper (not a great price, but a purchase I could live with) and still have $1 to go. I decided to make that up in the 5 cent folders, only they weren't…they were 29 cents! .29 times 20 is $5.80. I didn't notice because my total was what I expected it to be. Got home and realized he hadn't charged me for the crate! So I'll be going back to Office Depot tomorrow to return my folders and pay for my crate!

Jenny, thanks so much for posting this. It was a blessing!

    • Shannon

My sales ad in VA is not showing any of the rebates or “other deals.” I went into the store and the sales associates were clueless on the current rebates. I came home to find the rebates in the rebate center. Found the ones I wanted except the creates. Anyone in the Tidewater area having better luck than I? I would love to find the notebook filler paper so I can avoid Walmart. :)

Thanks to anyone who can help.

    • Brownebaby

I couldnt find the filler paper portfolios or fashion notebooks in Charlotte, NC. It was hard because you dont really know what you are looking for and because these items are not in the sales paper the OD workers really cant help.

      • Olisa56

I was in the location on Independence in Charlotte yesterday and they were out of several things, but I was able to find some other filler items that I wanted to have just as much…..so it was still a good deal….

    • Olisa56

Just a pointer to those of you that are taking advantage of Jenny's deals at Office Depot. I went yesterday and I had 3 items to send in to get rebates on and the cashier told me to go over to the printer area and ask them to make 3 copies of my reciept to send in with the rebate forms so that I don't have to use my own ink at home. Wow that is nice. I love it!!!

    • VWR5

The Savannah store only had the rebate for the markers. They also did not have the post it notes and the notebook paper was not on sale.

    • Jen Jen

I just got back from OD and they were completely sold out of the 100 pack of the post it labels for $.99. However, they did have a 75 pack and a 150 pack. One sales associate said that they could order it and ship it to my house free of charge….BUT when I went to the register to purchase my stuff, the manager said that they were completely out of them in our region (South Florida) so he gave me the 150 pack at the same $.99 price and I was still able to use my coupon! I bought 2 of them and paid $.07 each for tax!!! So if your stores are sold out see if they will subsitute another size for the same price. HTH!

    • jsandlin

Thought I would give an update on this. I went to Office Depot yesterday. Bought 1 Dry Erase pack, 3 staplers, 5 bottles of Purell, 3 stackable crates, and a 2 pk of the 3M white removable hanging thingies (we needed those). My circular advertised all the above offers. The crates were advertised at 6.99, the markers were 5.29, Purell was 4.99, and stapler was 3.00. My OOP cost was 59.46, including tax. I got a separate rebate form for each individual item. Called the number listed and they said send in one of them filled out, plus a copy of the original receipt (yes, a copy) and you would be reimbursed for all that was purchased. I used a $10/$25 coupon. I should receive $60.21 in rebates. So, even with adding the $3.88 pk of hangers, I will still make $0.75, including all taxes!!! Also, I used the Purell to get the Back to School Rebate of $6 in coupons. Hopefully, they will accept a photocopy of the receipt.

Can anyone in the areas where the deals are advertised tell me what the fine print says? I found the following on the Office Depot website and am wondering how it applies to those of us not in the areas where the sales are advertised. Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

What if I find a lower price at an Office Depot store or in an Office Depot catalog?
We sell through multiple channels of distribution including catalogs, retail stores, the Internet, and contract delivery. As a result, our prices may vary, higher or lower, in any channel at any given point in time. If you find a lower price in an Office Depot catalog or at an Office Depot store within 14 days of your purchase, we will match the price if the item is in-stock in all channels. Ad errors, items advertised as clearance or while supplies last and offers advertised as available at one location and/or in a particular channel of distribution only are also excluded from this offer. We do not match prices offered to our contract customers. Additionally, we do not match prices on http://www.techdepot.com.
