I picked up a Caress bodywash for $3.49 and I had the RP $1/1 coupon. The SS coupon was for $3/2 Suave Professionals Gold hair care items, so I got 2 gold 12.6 oz bottles. I could only find a RiteAid Load2card coupon for $2/2 Suave Professionals, so I picked up 2 (28 oz) green bottles; more ounces, better deal, right? The ad said the green bottles were 2/$6 and the tags on the shelf said the gold bottles were $2.99 each. But for unknown reasons, the gold bottles actually rang up $1.99 each. Leaving my total below the $15 required to get the 800 PP ($13.47). So I grabbed another gold Suave Prof. 12.6 oz bottle. It rang up as $2.99. …So, beware, there may be some kinda BOGO thing going on with those.
My total was $16.46. Minus $6 in coupons, -800 PP I already had, my total was $2.46 + 0.99 tax, so $3.45 for 6 bottles of shampoo/conditioner/bodywash which comes out to $0.58 each, and I got back 800 PP. Still good, right?
Rite Aid seems so much more complicated than CVS. I can’t seem to get a deal in there without some pricing mishap.
