It’s a good weekly ad for Publix.  These deals start Wednesday 11/4 or Thursday 11/5 depending on your area.  There are lots of organic deals this week which should excite some of you.  My favorite, is Free Tylenol!!  (Maybe it’s the “mom of 3” part of me, but a person can never have enough Tylenol!)  If you get to the store and they are wiped out don’t forget to get a raincheck.

If you were ever wondering what stores took what coupons we have an incredibly long list here now.

Coupon Policies

1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price **
2. If you do buy 2 items that are B1G1 make sure you use 2 coupons to get the best deal
3. Publix accepts competitors coupons (you can stack with a manufacturers coupon and a Publix coupon)
4. You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item
5. Most Publix locations double manufacturer coupons that are.50¢ or less **

** #1 and #5 do not apply in FL and coastal GA**

    • Laura

      Thank you Jenny!!!!

There is a $5 MIR when you spend $15 that can be used on the Nestle chocolate chips. Thought I’d share!

      http://www.realsimplerewards.com/rsn/holidaysavings/index.html

      • Laura

Do the “free” ones count as a purchase for the MIR?? Can I buy 6 total and get the $5 back or does I literally have to spend $15?

        • Rebecca

I can’t find the MIR, but usually they say to circle your purchases. They will ring up as half price, which is $1.25, so to get to $15-, you’ll have to buy 12 packages.

          • Joy

Unless you live in Florida, and you get true BOGO deals. Then it rings up full price for two, then deducts the second price. I have always been able to count the full price of BOGO’s for rebates.

            • Amy

So you only need to purchase 6 bags (and get six free) ?? (I live in Plant City, FL)

            • Joy

Actually, you only need to buy 6 total and would work like this:
              6 bags @ $2.50 = $15.00
minus $7.50 for 3 bags at BOGO
              minus $1.50 in coupons
= $6.50 and submit for the $5 rebate!

On your receipt, it will show the full price for all six bags, so just circle those showing you bought $15 worth and submit the rebate.

              Hope that Helps!

            • Amy

Thanks Joy for clearing that up!

          • Laura

            Rebecca,
I couldn’t find the rebate form either, BUT, I am assuming you just follow the instructions and mail it to the address given, with your name/address on a 3×5 card. Mailing mine out now!

          • Tarrah R.

I’d go with the cookie dough, because with true BOGO and coupons it’ll work like this:
            Buy 6 packages @ $3.19/each= $19.14
            Minus $9.57 for 3 free packs= $9.57
            Minus 6 $1/1 Q’s= $3.57
Get back $5.00- You just made $1.43!

      • Steve

You could receive $5. What’s with that wording? Sounds like you may or may not get the 5 bucks. If they were upright it should say you WILL get $5.

        • Joy

In the small print, it says “while supplies last” so I’m guessing that is what the “could” means. I guess we all better get on this ASAP. Thanks for pointing that out!

      • Rebecca

        I can’t find the rebate form, but here’s a link for a free calendar w/ coupons.http://www.startsampling.com/sm/100918/captureAddress.iphtml?item=100918&source=

    • Paricia

      Thank you! Great week :)

    • Carrie

Is it just me or are the coupons from coupons.com not printing? I can’t get either firefox or IE to produce the prints even though it says they’ve been sent. :/

      • Laura

That happened to me too and when I tried to print them again it said I had already reached the print limit. :(

        • Amy

This has happened to me before too. I completely restarted my computer and that fixed everything for me. Hope this works for you!

    • Susan in Cumming

Thanks Jenny for a great week last week! I finally did my shopping and saved $170 and spent $88. Because of your guidance and some tips from the other ladies, I had my best week yet of savings!

The tip about taking proof that Muir Glen was a GM product was especially helpful! I still don’t think my cashier believed me, but she took the money off anyway!

Thank you again for all you do!!

      • Tell them to read the fine print – it tells them to send the coupon to GM for reimbursement. That’s where you can look to find the manufacturer in the future, too.

    • Mina

I was happy when I saw this week’s ads for Publix and Bi-Lo because it means I don’t have any pressure to go to Kroger tomorrow and go through the hassle of having to put together groups of 10 in order to get a sale price. :-) The Publix price for the Tollhouse morsels is better than the mega-sale, even with Kroger’s senior discount. I can’t believe we’ve almost gone through the 10 bags I bought during the last mega-sale!

And I’m SO GLAD to have the Tylenol deal! I’ve been hanging on, waiting for this and a *great* ibuprofen deal, and it’s only the beginning of the Aches and Pains Season.

Baking chips, Land-o-Lakes spread, Tylenol, squash and beans make me happy.

      • Catherine

Mina, your last line made me laugh. Sometimes I look at the content of my cart when I am getting great deals and I think “What an odd collection of stuff to buy!” My cart always seems so strange compared to other shoppers, but they aren’t saving money like I do, thanks to Jenny! :)

        • Jodi

LOL I feel the same, as I just buy the stuff on sale with the coupons I have. I no longer buy items, unless I have a coupon. But when you look at my cart, it looks terrible as nothing seems to go together.

I have been having some great weeks at Publix, last week was 47 dollars spent and 89 saved. I was upset that it was only 89 saved and the cashier thought I was nuts :D

          • Michelle in Martinez

i know exactly what you mean! after a few months of shopping like this, my thinking is skewed…i no longer think most deals are “deals” unless it’s dirt cheap, like a bogo with a coupon, or a sale with a store q and a manf q. it’s a far cry from how i used to shop! LOL

            • Michelle

Funny, I’ve been doing this a month, and it’s painful for me to buy something without a coupon now!

        • Eileen

yes, are shopping carts are funny when we are stocking up on deals. I even find I look at others carts and say to myself- they dont know how much they can be saving!!

          • kathy

I have it so bad that when my husband asks me to pick up something that isn’t on sale I want to purchase it seperately so it doesn’t mess up my receipt! Do I need a recovery group?

      • Marci

I’m a newbie….so I need a little help. I don’t understand the Publix Advantage Green buy for the Tylenol. Where do you get the coupon for that? I went to Publix with my coupon for $1.00 off so
I still got a great deal for 2.99. Just trying to understand a little better. Thanks!

        • Jessica

          Marci,
In the front of the store where the weekly ads are there is a small flyer that is green, inside is store coupons with $3 off tylenol that are store coupons, you can combine your store coupon along with you manufacturer coupon making it FREE!!!

    • Mina

Also, there a couple of q’s to add to your list.

Swanson Broth – Publix has In Store Dispensers (blinkies) for the current cycle with .75/1 q’s.

BirdsEye Voila – $1/2 MQ in Fresh, Flavorful Frozen & More Publix booklet

    • -.55/1 Johnsonville Italitan Sausage SS 11/8

since 11/8 hasn’t happened yet, i was wondering if any of you pro’s know where i might be able to run this -.55/1 Johnsonville Italitan Sausage SS down at?

      • Freedom

Jenny is just letting us know that this coupon is scheduled to be in the insert this weekend 11/8.

    • -$1 off Colgate Total CVS $100 Flu Booklet (CVS coupon)
Where can I get one of these flu books?

      • Joy

Ask at the pharmacy, they have them there.

        • Lisa

Can you get a flu booklet even if you didn’t get your shot there? I thought you only got the flu booklet if you got a flu shot at CVS.

      • Heather

Just make sure your Publix takes CVS Q. Mine doesn’t. :O( Do get one anyway if you do any CVSing. I have one and it has been nice to stack store and Manf Qs….

    • RM

To my knowledge OOltewah TN doesn’t have a Food Lion or Target so will Pub lix accept competitors coupons from those stores?

      • Jenn

Probably not, but check with Customer Service. It doesn’t hurt:-)

      • gena

I have used Food Lion coupons there in the past – most recently was 2 Mondays ago.

      • Hal

Hello, I shop there, and yes Food lion is the only competitor they will take.

      • AngelaDH

I shop in Ooltewah and they take Target coupons too (just one per transaction).

    • hlalle

The 1.00 Maxwell House Coffee q prints as a retailer Publix q. Can I use the 1.00/2 manufacturer’s q with it?

      • Kelley

If the coupon says “Manufacturer’s Coupon” you can’t use two of them together…even if it says “Redeem at Publix”. That happened to me a few weeks ago.

        • LD

It does not say Manufactor it says retailer ?

      • LD

That is the question I had ! It is from cooking with Kraft which is only for Publix stores , in the past they said Manuf. on them though. Since now they state retailer, I am thinking we can combine these coupons, since they are for use at publix only ???? The thing that confuses me though is the bar codes are just like a manuf. coupon and not regluar Publix coupons . Guess if they beep we will find out .

        • Joy

Those coupons are definately man q’s even though it states retailer coupon, so no stacking. I had my hopes up too.

          • hlalle

            Thank you for the info..

      • RMD

        If it has “PU” # (4 digits) it’s a publix coupon. If it has a barcode it’s a manf Q. You can stack a Publix Q w/ a manf Q – but you can’t do 2 manf Q’s for 1 item.

      • LD

I was able to use these coupons and a Manf. Q at Publix on the coffee . I asked at Customer service and they said yes they are a retailer which mean there coupon. The reason I asked there was when I tried to use [the cream cheese ones, from the same site] I was told no as they are a publix store coupon not a manufactor to be used at Publix . Just though the lady was misinformed but figured I would ask on the coffee ones at Publix . The cashier did not even ask anyone what kind or coupon it was , so figured between CS and cashier that it was a Publix coupon .

    • I don’t know if this is essentially the same source as the coupon Jenny mentioned or not, but if you become a Fan of Gorton’s Seafoord on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/gortonsseafood?ref=ts you can click on their Contest tab and print a $.75 coupon as well towards any shrimp item!

      • Joy

There were $1.00 coupons off of 1 item in one of their books that I picked up

    • Jo

Does the -$3 on the Tylenol store coupon come off automatically?

      • Freedom Ellis

No, you have to have the coupon out of the flyer.

        • Bobbie

Is the green advantage flyer out this week in the store or is it something I should already have gotten? Thanks for any help.

          • LD

The coupons in the green adv flyer are good from Oct. 31- Nov27 It has people on the front wearing hat and scarves . this should be in stores now .

            • Bobbie

              Thanks for the info.

    • Amanda

this is driving me nuts! Does anyone else have a problem with being told that you’ve printed this coupon the maximum number of times, when you haven’t even been to a particular site, and have not printed out their coupons at all??? This has just happened to me several different times at different links in this list.
And the nestle page just goes to a blank page when I click on one of the coupons.
Is this a prob with my computer? Anyone have suggestions? Thank you so much, you all are always so helpful!

      • Carla

The same thing happened to me last week on the Nestle site. I thought maybe I had printed that particular coupon but just didn’t remember so I went to every computer in my office and tried. I got that message every time….so I figured it was a problem with their site.

      • Sometimes I think that means the print limit is reached for the region or country.

      • I am having a toolbar problem and can’t figure out a way to correct it. I can’t go get the Nestle, Betty Crocker, or Vive Pro coupons. I did finally go straight to Betty Crocker and got the one I wanted. Any ideas?

    • DJane

What weeek was the Publix Green Advantage Book put out? The one that I have that was put out on 10/4 with the Tylenol coupon in it expired on 10/30. I would love to get in on the free Tylenol if I can.

      • LD

Just in case you missed it in the post a couple up .
The coupons in the green adv flyer are good from Oct. 31- Nov27 It has people on the front wearing hat and scarves . this should be in stores now .

      • DeeDee

It was in last sundays paper and should be located just inside the door with the spinny rack of sale ads.

Most of the Publix stores in the Irmo area of Columbia are no longer taking Target coupons.

      • Joy

The Publix on Fairview Road in Simpsonville is no longer taking Target coupons…or at least that’s what they told me when I presented them with one last week.

        • Lana

Duncan,SC store no longer taking Target coupons as of last week.

          • Joy

Does anyone know if the Publix in Simpsonville will accept Food Lion q’s since we do not have one nearby?

    • Alison

Why are most of the sites saying, “campaign over”?

    • Michelle in Martinez

Have I missed this, or does anyone know about the new Publix that opened up in the Augusta area? It is located at the corner of Washington Road and William Few Parkway. Supposedly they opened this morning (Wednesday) at 6:45 a.m. and were giving away free stuff, but I missed it! Just wondering if they are doing anything special to mark their opening, like triple coupons or freebies. Thanks for any info! :)

    • Angie

      Hi all!
I have learned so much by reading posts & scouring the website:)

My question is this … when I have a coupon for 50 cents off 2 can I use 2 coupons for the 2 products??

      EX: Hunt’s Canned Tomatoes, 14.5 oz., at $1.39 (69¢)
-$1.25 off Hunt’s Tomatoes and Pam Spray SS 10/11 (store coupon)
-.75/3 Hunt’s Tomatoes October All You Magazine
-$1/4 Hunt’s Tomatoes SS 10/04 or in store dispenser
-.50/2 Hunt’s Tomatoes printable (makes it 19¢ ea)
B3G1 Hunt’s Tomatoes “Creative Comfot Food” booklet

From this weeks list. I have the coupon for .50/2, but wouldn’t that make it 1.39 for 2 then .50 off for an ending price of .89???

Sorry I am just getting started & I feel like I missing a step somewhere!

      Thanks in advance!

      • Amy B.

No. If the coupon is for 2, you can only use it for every two products. BUT- 50¢ coupons and under will double to $1 in all areas except Florida, so that’s why it looks like using 2 coupons.

        Hope that helps!

        • kim

I live in Alabama and Publix does not double coupons here either.

          • Denise

Publix stores in North Alabama do double up to 50 cents.

            • kim

              I am in southern AL.

            • They double here in central Alabama. Birmingham

          • Chris

            They double in Prattville.

        • Angie

          THANKS!
That is what I thought, but could not make the #’s work for me.
I’m in South Georgia & they do not double.
          It all makes sense now:)

        • Bonnie

That coupon says “do not double” right on the top. It will make it them .45 ea. If you have an Aldi near by, they’ll be .44 ea.

    • ginger

ss 10/11 has a $1 off nestle toll house refrigerated dough exp 11/30/09

    • Rebecca

I just wanted to say that as a Publix employee, please couponers, don’t be rude to your cashier. It is our job to look through the coupons, make sure they aren’t expired, and to not allow doubling if it says “do not double or triple”. Give us the time to check with our supervisors to make sure that we do take the coupons if we are unsure. Don’t give us attitude if we say we can’t accept a coupon. The stores have that right to deny them, but we cashiers aren’t the ones to make that decision. Thanks.

      • Amy B.

I think most honest couponers are willing to allow their cashier reasonable time to look over the coupons. Speaking for myself, the only time I get frustrated is when a legitimate coupon is denied for a silly reason or if I’m treated as a criminal. Most of the time, the cashier finds that all my coupons are on the up & up and then they lighten up.

As far as “DO NOT DOUBLE” coupons, this new rule is really strange. Publix’ policy is to double manufacturer coupons up to 50¢. If the manufacturer’s didn’t want their coupons to double they could make the barcode with a 9 instead of a 5 and then no cashier would ever have to press a bonus coupon suppressed button. Only one of the stores near me blocks it and I choose not to shop there now.

      • Morgan

Even though I don’t work at Publix, I agree with everything you wrote and I hope that everyone can be respectful of others.

      • Krista

Rebecca, I am also a Publix cashier. I agree with everything you have said here. I am also a couponer. While most people I encounter are really nice to me, I get some that are rude to me. I honestly do not turn down coupons that are legit unless you did not have the said item. If I am unsure if I scanned it or not I will ask you.

As for the doubling. I have not really ran into many issues with that. I also hope that it continues to go this way.

There is also one other thing I would like to add. Please if you are using printed coupons, take the time to cut them out for us as they do not fit in the bags we are to put them in if they are not cut out. It is also really hard to tear them out without messing them up at times. Also please be sure when you’re cutting or tearing out a coupon that you do not tear the expiriration date on it. If you tear that off we will not take them as we will not get re-emberssed for them.

All in all I LOVE to see my customers save money. I enjoy taking coupons & seeing what a good deal you’re getting. I also have a customer to thank for sharing this site with me. So for all of the customers that shop at the Deerfoot store in Trussville, Thanks! You have all been really polite & nice to me!

        • Leah

Thanks for your info, Krista. I have a question-often when I bring my printable coupons to Publix they do not scan nicely for the cashier and they have to enter them by hand. Do you have any suggestions?

      • Carrie

Last month, I had two separate cashiers hit “bonus coupon suppressed.” They were both very kind and just doing their jobs. However, not all cashiers choose to suppress coupons…so I spoke to the store manager (the big one)about consistency. I told him that I wanted to be sure to follow the “coupon rules,” but I wanted to know why different cashiers make different choices when something is supposedly a “policy.” Mike was very kind (Goose Creek, SC) and told me that he would check into this. He found me a few aisles later after asking all of the cashiers on duty that night about how they handle bonus suppression. He said that it was not worth losing business over and that he would post a store policy stating that the cashiers are NOT to manually suppress coupons from doubling. :)

        • Angela, in Summerville, SC

I love the Goose Creek Publix! They make it easy to be a super-couponer. I’ve had nothing but great experiences there and saved HUNDREDS of dollars!

        • Jodi

Thanks Carrie for speaking with Mike. I had spoked with him a few times before and i agree, he is very nice. Yeah, i was getting frustrated with this suppression of do not double. Glad i read through this blog, so i will resume my couponing at Publix.

        • Ann

          Hi there!

After a recent move, I’ve started using the Goose Creek Publix. I’m still learning my way around super-couponing but it’s great to hear that different people are happy with the Goose Creek store! Let me know if you have any other store-specific tips or suggestions.

          Thanks!
          Ann

        • Tammy

OK Mike needs to move to Mt Juliet!!!! We have a new store opening. Not meaning to slam other stores, Kroger is 2 miles from my house and I have to travel about 20 minutes to get to Publix which I happliy do and now in the next few weeks, I will have a Publix 2 miles away…just across the street from Kroger!!! Hopefully we will get a manager like Mike who will actually walk in the aisles to answer a customer’s question!!

      • Chaundra

Hi Rebecca and Amy, maybe you can help me with this issue. This is the first time this has happened to me. I am new to coupons and was told a “purchase” meant an item that you are buying and a “transaction” meant the sum of all your “purchases.”
Today I went to my local Publix (Franklin, TN) and attempted to use multiple coupons for multiple items (ex. 4 Gorton’s items and 4 coupons – one for each item). THe coupon read, “limit one coupon per purchase” – almost every coupon I have reads this. The store manager came over and told me a “purchase” was everything I was buying and I could only use 1 coupon ($1 off) for my 4 items. I politely argued that I thought he was wrong – he said Corporate Office has been really cracking down on coupons and that is now their interpretation of the language. THey’ve had several “meetings” over the coupon language.
Because he was a sweetie, he let me use all of my coupons today and said he would “take the hit” if there was one.
He is going to try to find out more information, but for now, I can no longer use multiple coupons for matching multiple items.
What do you think is going on? What does your store manager say?

        THanks for the help.

        • DeeDee

At Target this week, the manager said “one coupon per purchase” means one per item. My Publix still accepts one per item, even if it is BOGO.

        • Well he was right to a point – a purchase is the # of items you purchase. A transaction is when you cash out at the end. However, if you had 4 Qs for 4 individual items that you were buying, you were within the parameters of the Qs language to use (1 per customer per purchase). He was confused w/the language. What Publix doesn’t want you to do is use 4 manufacturer’s Q on the same individual item. And there is NO corporate policy about how you were using the Q – it was his misunderstanding about the words purchase vs. transaction. You may want to speak to the District Manager b/c this may become a big problem at the store if that is how the manager interprets the Q. Hope this helps.

      • Amanda

Yes, the cashiers are the ones who make the decision, and I left Publix tonight in tears because of that. I recently started couponing again after a few years, and in the last two weeks that I’ve been using coupons at Publix (on FAIRVIEW RD in SIMPSONVILLE, SC) they have doubled all of them no problem. I spent hours this morning making out my list, and an hour in the store tonight shopping. I ended up having to have most of my order voided, which took 20 minutes, finally sent me to customer service desk to finish after holding up the line forever, was totally humiliating, and I was 20 minutes late to pick up my 8 yr old from karate class (my 6 yr old was with me watching me get upset and be treated rudely). Yes, rudely. When I stated that I had asked customer service for their entire policy and that they said they double all coupons up to .50, the response was, “Well I don’t know who told you that.” No apologies or anything. I told her that they had been doubling those coupons and she proceeded to tell me, in a not nice tone of voice, that they don’t get paid that money from the manufacturer, etc.
I am really upset about this, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

        • Elizabeth

Contact the district manager and let him know your experience. Be detailed and give names if possible. I have learned over time when someone tells me something, to make sure to glance at their nametag and maybe even address them by name so they know I know who they are, and if I have a problem, I will know to say “so-and-so” told me this was the policy. You shouldn’t be treated like this. Make some noise (nicely), and good luck!

        • Amanda

And now that I’ve looked over my receipt this morning, it is totally wrong, and she didn’t even take off for the stuff they took out of my basket. I kept trying to understand what she was doing and was asking, and she just kept barking at me that she was taking off the coupons. I am soooooooooo mad. Her name is Novella. I wrote it down through my tears.

          • Anney

In this situation I would have told them to void the entire order and left. There is no excuse for rudeness and someone making you feel this way. I’ve had experiences like that and finally said no more. If you tell them to keep it all and leave they will get your message and then you take back power. I would also follow up and take the time to write a detailed letter accounting exactly the time, date and people you dealt with and send it to several people including store manager, district manager, etc. I promise you you will get action. Publix doesn’t want to lose business in this economy.

        • lisaallynn

I really hope that you write to the the district manager a very detailed letter about her. This WILL get their attention. The store manager will be contacted and questioned and by the time it gets to the casher, well, she will be the one in tears. I work for Publix and hate that this has happened to you. Even IF they did not take your coupons or double them you should not have been rude to or made to cry. And to leave the store with mistakes on your recipt is really bad for her. Publix is not a place where a rude employee lasts long.

        • Joy

I feel your pain. I too, was in Publix on Fairview road in Simpsonville SC this past week and was made to feel stupid for using coupons. I had one cashier pull everything back out of my bag to go back thru to look at each item…she should have done that as she scanned them. I also had an experience there yesterday trying to use a $2.00 off of Dove manuf. coupon and one of THEIR B1G1 coupons in the Green advantage book..with these 2 coupons, they will be free. She did not want to take the coupon, but ended up doing so when a fellow cashier told her that she took them. My thoughts are..if you don’t want us to use them, don’t put them out there!

        • Alison V.

this has happened to others i know while shopping with their kids, too. definitely get coupons back and just tell them to void the whole order and leave. there’s too much room for error when voiding several items. and there is no point in the rudeness. when you contact corporate, the store manager has to call you. i would definitely go to the website and send an email. you’ll get a call within 4 days.

        • MCH

Call Publix corporate. They were very nice to me and said they would make sure to educate the store manager on their official policy. THe store manager called me within 4 hours and said if I ever had a problem with my coupons in his store, ask to see him immediately and he would rememedy the situation. Publix does not play around when it comes to customer service.

    • The Hunts tomatoes is a smartsource going straight to print once you hit get coupon – but I’ve found that if I close the page really really fast then it cancels and doesn’t count against my print limit.I can then open IE and print from there.

Thanks so much for adding when things go straight to a SS print -it is sparing me some hassle!

      • Dawn

Why does doing this matter? Just curious. Is it bad to have it go straight to print?

        • Some of us can’t print SS in FF – and if it goes straight to print and you don’t cancel it in time then the site still counts it towards your print limit. But you don’t get the coupon!

IE is too slow for couponing, so I only use it for SS sites. It’s a pain, so it’s nice to know ahead of time if I need to open a site in IE.

          • Dawn

Ah! I see. I’ve never tried FF. Thanks for the explanation! I couldn’t figure that one out! :)

    • Maria

There is also a wise .5o coupon out there….I signed up with my new email address last night and it was in my inbox this morning.

      • Paula

I did the same thing. If you print it twice (which it will allow), you double both coupons making each bag of chips at Publix only .50! Great deal!

    • Shannon

Has any one been able to get the Special K bluebery coupon or special k coupon at all? It says print limit reached under my zip. Thank you

      • Trudy

Same here!!! I got one printed on two different computers, then it said Print Limit Reached.

      • Trudy

I’m having trouble posting this- sorry if it posts twice! To answer your question on the Blueberry Special K– yes! I’ve had the same problem on two separate computers. Was able to print one coupon from each and then got the Print Limit message. Grrrr!!

      • Leah

I printed it this morning with 32725

        • Shannon

Thank you for all of your replies. Leah I must have gotten there too late AGAIN! :) But I will try tomorrow. Thanks.

    • Cindy

The Publix near me had $1 off peelies for the Nestle Ultimates cookie dough. They were on the chocolate chip cookies with chocolate filling.

      • Lisa

Mine did too and they took that coupon in addition to the other ones I already had so I only paid $0.19 for two things of cookie dough. Great deal!!!

    • jon

The Adv Buy coupon for Tylenol states “Limit One deal per coupon per customer”– what does this statement mean exactly?

More to the point can I go into Publix with 6 Adv Buy q’s and 6 Man q’s and get get 6 Tylenol’s in the same transaction?

      • Nan

Just came back from Greenville McBee Publix. I used 3 Publix Advantage Qs and 3 Manuf Qs from the Tylenol calendar website. All 3 for .07:

        3.99 Tylenol Extra Strength
        -3.00 Publix Q
        -1.00 Manuf Q
        3.99 Tylenol PM
        -3.00 Publix Q
        -2.00 Manuf Q
        4.09 Tylenol Children’s Melts
        -2.00 Publix Q
        -1.00 Mauf Q
        =.07 OOP

      • Stacey W

It depends on the store and cashier. I was only able to use one store coupon today. Going to try to hit Publix again later this week though!

    • Lori

I am new and have a question – some of the coupons that are listed to print out say do not double, but are indicated on the shopping list that they will. Do you know if they will still double them even though they say do not double? Thanks!

      • Amy B.

That depends on the store policy/cashier. Some stores will not double coupons that say “Do Not Double” (this is fairly new). Many stores double all manufacturer coupons 50¢ or less.

        • All Publix are required to double all Qs to .50 regardless of what cashier or service desk or manager says. That is the only corporate policy that is written in stone – it is their courtesy gesture to all of their customers. If they are suppressing, just call the corporate office and they will take a message and send up the line to the district manager. Most district managers are not aware of what is happening in their individual stores (re: suppressing) and are incredibly helpful in nipping it in the bud immediately when it comes to their attention. Just remember to always get a name b/c that helps get the correct information to the correct person. You might also want to follow up w/the store manager after the district manager addresses w/them.

          • MCH

I did call corporate and they do not double coupons in Florida. You can use 2 man coupons on a bogo deal, but they do not double in FL like they do in NC/SC.

    • What’s the zip for the Keebler cookies q?

    • The Fresh Express Q is .55/1

      • Tamara

I found $1 off 2 on the bags of Fresh Express salad at my publix in Irmo. Better than .55 off 2 since they don’t double it.

    • Rachel

West Ashley Publix in Chas, SC has a “$.75 off this purchase” coupon attached to most of the Campbell’s Select Harvest Soups… which make it a whopping $.44!! And those soups are pretty tasty and best of all, ALL NATURAL :)

    • Ann

How do you get the publix home mailer? They send me the weekly ad, but I have never received coupons from them – other than baby club coupons. I would love to have free pampers wipes since this is the only brand I can use on my baby, he allergic to all other brands.

      • Amanda

Go to the publix website and sign up for the Family Style Magazine and others like the Greenwise Mag. I got 14 dollars of coupons in the Family Style and sometimes I can’t find a copy of it in the store because people grab them up so fast. However, its not a guarantee that you get everything. I also didn’t get the Pampers coupon. Not sure which “home mailer” it was located inside.

      • Morgan

It was a coupon from the baby club. I got mine about three weeks ago after signing up in September.

        • Ann

I’m part of the baby club but didn’t receive that one :(

    • Dana

Heads up to the ladies that go to the Duncan, SC publix. If your coupon is for the equal price of the item the checkout girl will proceed to cancel your doubled coupon. IE: I bought 4 boxes of the Betty Crocker BOGO potatoes, had 4 $0.40 coupons. They automatically doubled.. So she went back and over-road the system and canceled the coupon out. I am so aggravated.. I actually called and spoke to the manager. I never do that.. I am not going back to that Publix anymore. 2 weeks of being embarrassed and treated like crud is enough.

      • Tamara

I used 3 of those on 3 boxes today and they doubled them with NO problems here in Irmo.

      • Joy

This has happened to me before at the Publix in Simpsonville, however, there have been some coupons that have Do Not Double or Triple and they let those go thru…suppose it just depends on the cashier.

        • Amanda

Joy, I just had a really horrible experience in Publix on Fairview Rd because of that issue. I posted about it above. Do you shop at the one in Mauldin at all, and have you had that problem there (supressing double coupons)? I had not had that happen before and was told that they double all coupons up to .50, and it was a really humiliating and time wasting ordeal to find out that it’s basically up to the cashier and manager on duty.

      • Kelly

Dana, I agree with you. I’ve had so many issues at the Duncan publix that I’m going to stay away from it. They are very good at being rude because you have coupons.

    • Jessica

For those of you that the week for Publix ends today. I just made a one last trip on the $4/4 GM offer and got some BC frosting and a couple of BC Brownie Bowls that I had coupons off for .50/1, was going to get some Progresso broth and saw the Cottage Inn B1G1 for $2.49 and a dispensor giving .75/1 = .50 but had to go back in again to snag 4 bags of Nature Valley Granola Clusters the bags each had $1 peelie on them which made them .50. 5 trips into Publix this week but was well worth it..Thanks Jenny!!!!!

    • Lisa

For competitor coupons can you use 1 per item or one per deal? For example, on the GM cereals, can I use 2 of the $1 Food Lion Qs ($1 off Cheerios) since it’s a B1G1 item or can you only use 1 coupon for the deal?

      • Sue

I used 2 FL coupons today on Cheerios with no problem.

    • Tamara

I also found FREE Salsa when you buy 2 bags of Tositoes and I have $2 off produce and the chips were BOGO! what a deal!
      I spent $53 and Saved $94 today.

    • Jessica

I do not have my Publix ad out yet..is the coffee-mate creamer for liquid or powder?

      • Jessica

I went to the Publix in Columbia this afternoon and it was only the liquid creamer. Hope this helps. Thanks.

        • Jessica

Thanks for checking for me Deborah, guess I will hang on a little bit to use my coupons as we love the powdered creamer and buy the large cans that usually last only a week. When we get another sale I will buy 20…lol

      • LD

I am so hoping powder, above it says 32 oz, so think that has to be the powdered but have seen other sites post it as chilled ? Maybe different ones in diff. areas ?

        • LD

I looked up on coffeemate.com it is only the liquid that comes in the 32 oz my husband wont use the liquid and I only use the flavored liquid ones lol so we both lose this sale .

    • Lisa

The Publix coupons say limit one deal per coupon per customer. Just want to make sure that doesn’t mean you can only use one coupon per trip – more specifically can I use 2 of the Publix couons for Tylenol in one trip if I’m buying 2 Tylenol products?

    • Yeah, Tylenol. Because when you are pregnant its the only thing you are supposed to take:)

    • Lori B.

Thanks for the list Jenny! I got 4 bottles of Tylenol FREE today. My Publix was re-doing the dairy section or something-it was a mess. I had to wait for them to restock some things. Me & another lady had to wait for the Nestle cookie dough & we each grabbed a handful. The lady restocking looked at us & asked “it is on sale or something?” lol We had to advise her of that & the coffee creamer. Your list makes it so easy for me-just print my list & Q’s I need & match up w/ other Q’s in my Q box & off I go… :)

    • Sue

I did my first couponing tip to Publix today. I do not have one near me, but I had to be in Columbia so decided to give it a try. I paid $24.56 and saved $69.95. Wish I had known about the Tylenol deal (or how to do it) but I am well pleased. Everyone in the store was extremely nice and my clerk looked at my coupons as he scanned them, which was fine. He even seemed excited that I had saved so much. I wish I lived closer. My son was theilled with DiGiorno Pizza ($3.50 each) for dinner and Toll House Cookies (75¢) later. It’s been a good day. Thank You Jenny for your hard work. The Publix post was up in time for me to do my planning last night. You are truly appreciated!

    • Rose

hey i noticed the dukes mayo.. Bi-lo has it on sale for 2/4$
2$-.55which doubles to 1.10=.90 cents. Better than publix this time, wonder if im missing something, this isnt mentioned on the bi-lo list at all.

      • cari

If you have a Harris Teeter nearby Dukes is BOGO and the .55 coupon will triple.

        • Rose

WOW too bad no harris teeter near by that i know of!

    • Lisa

Has anyone in FL tried using Albertson Coupons at Publix. This week they have a buy 1 get 2 packs of pork chops and the same with beef! Thanks.

      • ErinD

I’ve used the Albertson’s $5/50 as a competitor, but never tried the meat Qs.

      • brenda

Ive used albertsons Q 3 time they took them every time haven’t went this weak yet. used all of Qs at one time and they even took the Angus Q I didn’t see Angus at pub lix I asked and they said they would give me that type of meat like bottom round roast what ever kind of meat it says on Q and the 5 off 50 Q to really good deal live in apopka

        • Lisa

I used the buy 1 get 2 free for pork chops but they did not have the “petite” steaks at Publix so I couldn’t use the other coupon. The meat manager said to use the coupon, they would need to call Albertsons, find out their price and then charge me that. But when I went through the checkout line, the cashier just rang the two free ones up as “Rain Check”. Don’t understand that but I’m not complaining at all; 4 pounds of center cut chops for $5.60!

      • Esmelda

I used the $5 off $50 last night and have a friend who regularly uses the meat coupons (buy 1, get 2 free, etc). I’m in Gainesville, and usually go to the Publix at Haile.

    • Tara

Does anyone elses Publix NOT allow 2 coupons on the BOGO offers?

      • Tom

In Tampa they always take 2 Manufacturers coupons with a B1G1. It’s rare but sometimes you find a publix coupon for the same item. since you can stack them that’s 4 coupons on 2 items – but it doesn’t happen often. I recall getting some almost free CFL light bulbs a few months ago.

        • Tara

Maybe it’s just a Miami area thing.

    • Brandy

Opened a pack of pampers that I got on sale with coupon from Food Lion tonight and it had a 1.00 off coupon for Cheerios. Going back tomorrow with the rest of my 1.50 off coupons to get more and hopefully I’ll find more 1.00 off Cheerios coupons to get free Cheerios at Publix this weekend.

      • Some of the regular Cheerios have coupons for $1.50 off Pampers on the box!

    • Becky

The CoverGirl Mascara or Lip Products, $1.50 Off
-$2.50/2 Covergirl Cosmetics PG 11/1 (makes Lip Gloss 75¢)
is not what is coming up at the store. With the $1.50 off it is making the Lip Gloss $3.49 each. I realized this when they were rung up so I decided to put them back. Not such a good deal after all.

      • Amy

Murray Landing store had LIP BALM (colored) reg $3.29 .. $1.50 off makes them $1.79 and then the $2.50 off 2 .. I did it this morning .. no problem! Reg lipstick started at $4.99 (before the $1.50 off sale)

    • Kim

For anyone in the Lawrenceville GA area-The Publix on Simonton Rd will no longer accept CVS, Walgreens, or RiteAid coupons as of Nov. 7th. Thanks for all your hard work, Jenny! It is much appreciated.

      • Kymberly

Nor does the Publix in the Lilburn store on Five forks trickum

    • Tom

Whoever first mentioned that $4/4 General Mills deal this past week gets a great big thanks for me – did the deal 21 times (there are 3 Publix stores close to the house so I made a circuit). $84 worth of extra and unexpected savings on top of the coupons on most of the stuff I was going to buy sooner or later. I got enough Muir Glen tomato sauce and paste to last well into next summer. lol. Filled the pantry with Bisquick biscuit mix $1.09 (cost for 4 = .36c), Pillsbury flour @$1.19 for 2 lbs (cost .10c lb), cheerios (free after coupons), Nature valley nut clusters (about .25c each after coupons), Progresso bread crumbs (about .50c net), Green Giant can goods (about .15-.20c a can net), Progresso soups (about .50c ea) and a pint of Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream to celebrate my almost 94% net savings. Armed with a print-out from General Mills’ web site listing their products in hand, I only got grief from one cashier (but it’s not cereal!) and the manager had to OK the transaction. You guys are great. (Although my wife thinks I’m nuts – so I gave her a bag of the Nature Valley Cashew Clusters and told her they were compliments of Publix and General Mills.) ;)

      • Jess

Wish my Publix had allowed that. They said it was only good for cereal. Oh well.

      • Jennifer

Sounds a bit much for me. One deal was enough for our family.

      • Amanda

Wow, and you actually sound proud of that. maybe next time you could leave something on the shelves for struggling single moms like me. I did one GM deal and as soon as I read on here that it was not the intention of Publix to leave the word ‘cereal’ off the coupon, I only did one more deal… with cereal and granola bars only. Maybe it’s people like you that are the reason why people like me get treated like crap when we use coupons.

        • Hey Amanda – he went to 3 different Publix stores. He was actually trying to leave stock behind for you!! I’ll do a circuit to 4 Publix stores in order not to deplete the stock at one store. Doing the “circuit” takes more time and gas than just going to one store 2 or 3 days in a row and cleaning out the stock!!! Thanks to all that do shop multiple stores and leave stock on the shelves for others!!!

      • DeeDee

I say good for you! Use coupons to stock your pantry and feed your family. That’s what they are intended for! Ignore the rude people who commented on here!!

      • Lisa

Were you able to use more than 1 coupon at each visit? I asked and they said 1 per store visit. I went to 3 different stores, cashiers questioned every purchase. Went back a 4th time to buy all Nature Valley products since my daughter loved the bars I bought with my 3rd transaction. Definitely wanted to do more transactions but did not want to feel guilty about grocery shopping.

      • Amanda

Yes, stocking the pantry and feeding the family is what coupons are for, and what I use them for. But that kind of use of coupons is certainly NOT what they were intended for. And when you wipe out the stores stock just because you can, and I get there and the shelves are empty, that’s what’s rude. My comment wasn’t nearly as ‘rude’ as someone forcefully using a coupon against what the store intended it to be, many many times (“the manager had to OK the transaction”), and then laughing about that fact on here. That’s in-your-face rude. Not only is it blatantly inconsiderate of others, but when that kind of behavior causes a store to lose money over time, that’s when they change their coupon policies to the detriment of all the considerate, ethical coupon users as well. So call me rude, but I am the one who left you that last box of shredded potatoes, last night, instead of taking two for myself like I wanted.

        • Diana

I agree. Don’t be greedy. If you are wiping out the shelves it’s wrong. And the lady above is right. If you continue this way they will put a limit on things. Remember sharing?

        • Jennifer

Couldn’t have said it better myself Amanda!!!

        • Morgan

I agree with you, Amanda. I get tired of going to the store to buy one or two of an item just to find out the customer came in before me and bought dozens… It’s just not right and it will cause stores to rethink their coupon policies.

        • AngelaDH

          Rainchecks are a wonderful thing!

      • I say, good for you Tom. If I go to the store and they are out of what I wanted, I get a rain check.

      • Diana

It is irritating to watch a person clear off a shelf of a sale item that I need or want. This has happened several times. Some of these items are purcahsed using coupons from the Food Lion site that states only one print per item. One person had over twenty copies of a coupon for one item. The store accepted the coupons that day, but that is changing thanks to greed. I have found that many of the sales and coupons are repeated in a few weeks, so PLEASE leave some specials for my family this week.

    • Teresa

There is a coupon listed in the BOGO for the Nestle Toll House Morsels that says it was in the 11/1 Red Plum coupons. I looked through my RP section and I don’t see it. Am I just overlooking it?

      • Leah

Sometimes the coupons are regional. Also, the bigger the paper, the more likely you are to get all the coupons. For example, the Orlando Sentinel has all the coupons, but the Daytona Beach paper does not.

      • Sue

I almost missed itt on mine. It was on the front cover at the bottom.

    • Jessica

I have never tried Dukes Mayo before, the only one I use is Hellman’s. Are there any other Hellmans lovers out there that can tell me how Dukes taste in comparison?

      • Rose

we love dukes mayo, not the hellmans, not sure how to compare. Bilo has dukes for 2$ and the 55cent Q will double, makes it 90cents.

        • Lana

Dukes does not taste anuthing like Hellmans. I would just try 1 jar before stocking up. Usually thedeals are better on Hellman’s anyway when BiLO has BOGO and the .60/1 coupons are available to double.

          • Jessica

Thank you, I will try one out :)

        • Sue

Wish I had known that! Oh well, $1.34 ea. isn’t bad!

    • Tabetha

In the SS 11/8 there is a Target coupon for $1 off Covergirl cosmetics products. You should be able to use that with the manufacturer coupon for $1 off Covergirl.

      • Tabetha

CORRECTION! The Target coupon is in the SS 11/1.

    • Sheila

Has anyone found any printable coupons for Ragu? I love that it’s B1G1, but I want even more savings! It’s my “secret” sauce for spaghetti and lasagna! I’m completely out and need to stock up.
      :)

    • brenda

Let me get this strait please. bogo rings up at half price and I can use competitor’s Q with manufacturer Q or store Q on same item I live in FL. and I’m so confused

      • Amber

I’m from the Daytona Beach, FL area. BOGO’s at my Publix ring up full price each than one is credited back immediately. I think all Publix stores in FL ring up like that (but don’t quote me). My Publix doesn’t allow competitor q’s with manufacturers. But they will allow Publix q’s with a manufacturers. It depends on your store. Hope that helps. You can call and ask at your Publix before you go.

    • michal

great shooping trip – bouth $45 and saved $97
if you have the target insert – the ragu is 39 cent for one !!!

    • Jen B

So psyched about the Kashi deals. I have lots of Vocal Point coupons for the Kashi Go-Lean Crunch, so I’m stocking up at $1.00 a box. And the Kashi frozen entrees are the best out there–and also some of the most expensive! But with my $1.00 coupons off those, I’ll get them for 75 cents each (my Publix has them on sale for $1.75 instead of $1.89)! Have been waiting for this sale.

    • Wendy

The Fresh Express salad coupon link says the q is for .55/2 but when you print the q it is actually .55/1.

      • Alison V.

CHECK YOUR COUPON ID NUMBERS!!! I PRINTED 2 FRESH EXPRESS Q’S AND THEY BOTH HAD THE SAME NUMBERS LIKE I’D COPIED THEM! it was really embarrassing checking out at publix today, but even though the cashier hadn’t met me yet, she was really nice and DID NOT treat me like a criminal. i’m writing the salad company to report and publix to praise the cashier. the same thing happened with the $1 off one keebler/kellogg product q from savalot.

    • Kris

I have a question. I was at publix this morning. Only getting about $40 worth of stuff. I paid $10 out of pocket. The tylenol is the only this I got that should have been totally free. I used the $3.oo publix coupon and a $1.00 manufacture coupon ( I had two of each coupon and two tylenol products) It would not let her take off one of the $1.00 coupons, the register beeped and she said that it was telling her that it was more than the amount allowed. This also happened to me last week on something I don’t remember what. I didn’t argue just took the one coupon back. Is publix not allowing overage anymore???? If not do they adjust coupons down like at some stores. The difference in the price of the product and the coupon amount was 2 cents. Has anyone esle had this problem????
      thanks,
      kris

      • Kris

Just remembered when it did it to me last week was the dove deoderant with the B1G1 store coupon and the manufacture coupon.

      • Amy

Sounds like more coupons than items. The register will always beep. They can override it or you can throw a small filler item in the cart (packet of kool-aid, jalepeno pepper, banana)

      • Amy

When I have more coupons than items the register will beep, but a manager can put their code in and then the register will allow the rest of the coupons. Last night, my Publix actually paid me when I checked out. I didn’t realize my total would come up with them owing me. I also didn’t think they would give cash back if there was an overage, but they did.

        • Amy G

Wow, that is great.. Publix in Hueytown will not do that.. I had to go last week and get an item.

      • Kris

Thanks for the info… That was prob it. Usually I do have more in my cart but last two week I’ve just been picking up a few really good deals cause I’m pretty much stocked right now.

      • Lisa

Some Publix coupons state on them that the coupon cannot be of greater value than the product purchased. That could be what happened.

      • Michelle

That happened to me last week with the General Mills deal and the customer service cashier had to come over and key in something special.

      • Sarah

Make sure you give them the manufacturer coupons first, and then the Publix coupon should give you the overage. Or at least that’s how it is at my Publix.

    • Kim

I couldn’t find the Aunt Jemima Pancakes or French Toast printable coupon. Anyone else have a problem?

    • Allison

    • In case anyone is interested, the Conyers, Ga. Publix (Sigman Rd.) has e.p.t. boxes on clearance for $6.40. They have the digital version 2-pack boxes, and the “regular” version 3-pack boxes for that price. Combine them with the $5 printable from a couple weeks ago for a GREAT price!

    • Melissa

Went to the Publix in Mauldin, SC today. Bought Betty Crocker potatoes that were on sale and had 6 coupons for $0.40 off printed from coupons.com, and they will not double them. It does say on the coupon to not double, but I have not had this problem before. Is this a new policy? I still got a good deal, 6 boxes for $2.85, but I was hoping to get them for $0.07 each.

      • Amanda

I had the same problem tonight, at the one on Fairview Rd, Simpsonville. You can see my above posts if you want. I am just so upset. I had the boxedpotatoes, canned tomatoes, loads of yoplait yogurt, all kinds of stuff I had to cancel.

      • Amanda

Melissa, because of my ordeal last night, the assistant store manager of the store on Fairview Rd spoke to the district manager and informed me today that the official policy is to let the computer automatically suppress doubles (which it does to UPCs with the 9 in front), but the cashier is not to over-ride the computer and manually suppress any doubling of coupons. So your cashier was wrong and not following policy.

    • Nadine

I’ve never been able to purchase BOGO items at the half price, price at the Publix stores in my area. I have to buy two of the sale items or the one item is full price.

      • Lisa

It’s that way in Tampa, FL too. It rings up as two full price purchases, then subtracts one of them.

        • Nadine

          I live in Gainesville, FL

          • MCH

I called Publix corporate. THere are 4 publix “zones”. Miami, Jacksonville, Orlando and Atlanta. Each zone has different marketing. In the Atlanta zone (inlcuing SC, NC, TN and GA), bogos ring up half price. Here in FL, they ring up full and free. She told me Publix doesn’t have a lot of competition in FL, so they dont double coupons, and dont take Target, Walgreens, or CVS as competition. In the Atlanta zone, they have tons of other grocers. So if Kroger, HT and the pig are doubling coupons, they have no choice but to double. Competition breeds excellence…

    • Amy

Cashier told me at my Publix today, starting Jan.1st 2010 the registers will scan coupons. This will help both them and us to make sure we use the correct coupons. LOVE Publix… spend $53 today and saved $75! : ) : )

      • Jess

I think mine in Gainesville already does that…

    • Leigh Ellen

I have looked through my SS from 10/4 10 times but there is no Campbell’s Soup q as listed above. This is not the first time something was listed that I couldn’t find. Anyone else have the same issue?

      • kayla

Yes, I often have that problem. Have ‘heard’ what is included in inserts is regional. Our region – Montgomery, AL, leaves out a LOT.

    • kayla

I’m fairly new to couponing. I’m having trouble with the SmartSource coupons. I’ve used several different zip codes but only get 14 qs max and they are mostly for sears stuff. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?
      thanks

      • Heather

Try using zip code 90210 with 50 mile radius. See if that helps.

      • Heather

Scratch that. Try 90210 zip and them make sure that Catergory and Brand both say “select” next to them. You may have a filter on them that you aren’t aware of.

        • kayla

          Still not working. :(

          • Amy

Do you have an option to skip the zip code? I do, & have never had a problem. Good luck!

    • Kimberly

My better half found .50/1 Wise chips on wisesnacks.com

    • Do I need multiple publix Tylenol coupons to do this deal or can I just use one for all of them?

      • Tammy

You need one coupon PER item.

    • Allison

Went last nite and i have to say – i LOVE my Publix!
They are SO nice and dont make me feel like a criminal.
my bill – after all my B1G1 offers would have been $72.
      Out of Pocket was $31.
      I got:
2 Dukes, 2 Ketchup, 5 boxes Potatoes, cans diced tomatoes, 4 jars ragu, 2 bags chips, 1 packing tape, 8 misc tylenol products, & 4 ALL detergents – ALl stuff we needed and use – great pantry stockers!
      THANKS!!!!

    • Tori

      Just contacted my Publix in Aiken, SC and was told that they do not accept “regular” Target coupons, only Super-Target coupons. I’m not familiar with these. Can anybody explain the difference? {Do you get one type online and one out of the inserts?}

      Thanks in advance!

      • Alison V.

the super target q’s say “super target” and they will include items that regular target’s don’t sell. that’s all i can figure. my e. brainerd publix usually takes either, but one cashier told me that technically they don’t take super target q’s since our target isn’t “super”…but she let me use mine that time to be nice since i didn’t know.

    • I went back to the Hunt’s tomatoes link above and the coupon did not come up today – but I found the same coupon here:

      http://www.hunts.com/promotions.jsp

And the fire-roasted flavor is great in chili!

    • Janet

I found a booklet of coupons at my Publix last week called Share Something Delicious. It is really small and was in a display with Pepperage Farm food items, at my store. It has recipes and $.55 off any one package of Pepperage Farm bread, rolls, bagels or english muffins. I think this could be used with the Pepperage Farm Bread BOGO.

It also has .55 off three Campbells cream soups or Swanson 26 oz stock, .55 off one package of Pepperage Farm cookies (3-8.6 oz.) and .55 off one package of Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry sheets or shells. All of the coupons are manufacturer coupons.

    • Lizabeth

I was wondering….will all publix stores take Walgreens RR or is it a store by store basis?

      • AngelaDH

        Ooltewah does not.

    • Cori

Be aware – today my publix cashier told me should could not take my muir glen Q’s because they had the same barcode. I just took off the sauce and kept my coupon and went to customer service to see if they had a new coupon policy. I showed the manager the coupon and she said the cashier looked at the wrong bar code. They are supposed to be looking at the bar code at the top of the coupon not the bottom. So she let the cashier know which bar code to look at and rung up my sale at the front desk. but really, up until now I have not had a problem at my publix with coupons.

      • Michelle

Yah< I would not consider that a real problem…the girl was just looking at the wrong code. Glad you didn’t just say “ok” and go on your merry way! Now she will know….

    • Has anyone found “Keep the Jingle” Nabisco booklets in the Greenville, SC area?

      • There are some at the Woodruff Road location.

      • Deb – Clemson

I’m not having luck finding any of these coupons books at Publix in the upstate of SC. However I found this booklet at the Bi-Lo in Central, SC. It was between the frozen food and the Pharmacy.

    • Melissa

Scotch coupons can be found here: http://www.coupondad.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/3M_Scotch_Coupons_01312010.pdf to combine with the Scotch BOGO deal this week…

    • Christa

Can anyone help me with the Hunts Tomato printable coupon, I can’t find it. If it is on SS, what zipcode works?

      • Kim

        Try 35007

    • Shawna

A few days ago I went to the Publix on Trolley Rd in Summerville, SC and realized that I forgot 2 coupons for $1 each. They allowed me to bring in the coupons the next day w/ my receipt and gave me the $2 back! So if u forget your coupons it’s not a total loss. I LUV my Publix.

    • Sean

Just a heads up. They don’t double these down here in FL, but there are .50 off manufacturer coupons for Welch’s in Dollar General’s November coupon pamphlet.

    • laura from TN

There is still a $5 MIR when you buy 5 that can be used on the lender’s bagels and the Aunt Jemima frozen pancakes. It expires on 11/9. http://therealmealdeal.com/

      • Lara

        Thanks, Laura. A great find!!!

      • cari

thanks, I had forgotten about that. too bad it’s $5 in coupons and not a $5 check :) I’ll still do it though.

    • Denise

My first trip to Publix: Saved $89.51 and spent $22.27. Wow!!! Thanks a million for this website.

      • Denise

        And I’ll get a $10 rebate!!!!

    • Mandy Gabers

Has anyone actually been able to find the wise chips on BOGO my store has no signs up and I do not see it in the online ad…does Publix have regional variations?

    • Angela

Okay. This is my third week doing this, and I really appreciate this website. BUT, I didn’t have the greatest experience tonight. The Food Lion and Harvey’s coupons, which Publix accepted last week, were rejected by the manager tonight when she was called out to the register by the cashier. This caused me to have to spend $30 more than I had planned.

On the other hand, I spent $7.77 at Rite-Aid and bought:
Oral-B Cross Action toothbrush, reg. $8.47
Contour Breeze 2 meter, reg. $59.99
      Always pads, reg. $6.99

I will get back $5 in rebates, too!!

Thanks for what you do for us, Jenny!

      • Angela

        I forgot to say, I spent $72 and saved $156, so I really shouldn’t complain. :)

      • Amy G

Just got back from the Hueytown Publix and they have changed, no longer accept, Food Line, Harvery, Target or Babies R Us! only accept Hueytown local stores

    • Amy

Where did you all find the Publix coupon for $3 off Tylenol? The one frustration that I have had with my Publix (M’boro, TN) is that I have had difficulty finding their instore coupon booklets. Even gave a list to a CSR one time & he told me that if they weren’t on a certain roundabout that they didn’t have them. They weren’t. :-(

      • Angela

Yeah, the Greenwise and Yellow Papers are on a roundabout. I can’t believe they didn’t have one. That’s where the $3 off coupon is.

      • Melissa

I usually shop at the Publix on Memorial in Murfreesboro and the roundabout is right by the front entrance door!

      • Stephanie

The Tylenol coupon is in the Green Advantage Buy flyger. I live in Birmingham and had to ask for it at Customer service this morning. The woman at the desk said they no longer keep them in the ad display thingy because they disappear after only a day.

        Stephanie

      • Michelle

The Publix in Athens does not display them anymore either….I guess too many people were taking handfuls. I just went and asked for one and they gave me the yellow…so I specifically asked if I could have a green one too….

    • Liz

I found this magazine “12 reasons to love your neighborhood Publix”
It has a $5 of $50 on the back and a coupon for a free Publix premium bouquet with purchase of $75. I live in Jacksonville Fl and found them at two stores.

      • Where in the store did you find this magazine?

        • Liz

They were at the entrance of the store with the weekly ads and the green and yellow booklets.

    • Aisha Hall

My friend just went to Publix here in Murfreesboro, TN and was told that as of today, they are no longer doubling coupons!! Anyone else heard this?

      • Melissa

I just got back from the Publix on Memorial in Murfreesboro and they doubled my coupons! The register was acting funny so the manager that rang me up doubled them herself!

        • Aisha Hall

We’ll have to start going there.. The one on Franklin Road is the one who wouldn’t double.. Thanks!

          • Kathi

            Hi,

I just called the Publix on Franklin Rd. M’boro, they do still double. However, if the coupon says do not double, they will not double that coupon.

It was great while it lasted.

    • Angela

Update on Hueytown, AL, Publix store…

They will only accept competitor coupons from Wal-Mart, Food Land, Food Giant, Food World, Winn-Dixie, CVS, Walgreens, and Piggly Wiggly.

The bad news: only CVS, Walgreens, and Piggly Wiggly have in-store coupons in this area.

They will not accept from Dollar General, Fred’s, Family Dollar, etc. even though they are in this area.

    • audrey

hey ladies, im new to the site and looked all over this site for the answers : 1. can the blinkies be used in conjunction with manu coupons or store coupons or what?
      2. does bilo in goose creek sc take competitors coupons?
      3. and as far as the nestle chips-how did you get that to come down to .25 cents. i tried every combo i could and got it for .75?
      thanks guys for any help:)

      • Stephanie

        Audrey,
From what I understand the blinkies are considered manufacturer coupons, so they can only be used in conjuction with a store coupon. As far as the Nestle chips, the price she listed ($0.25) is dependent on your particular store doubling coupons. Many Publix double coupons $0.50 or less, so if your store does the $0.50 off coupon will double to a dollar making the total price $0.25.

I can’t answer about the Bi-Lo – don’t have those here in Birmingham!

        Hope that helps.
        Stephanie

        • audrey

          stephanie,
thanks :) your right, they must be doubling coupons up to .50 because i just got back from publix (paid 9.97 saved 33.00 yay)
looking at the reciept i see “multiplied coupon” this must be where theyre doubling!!!

      • misa

Bilo in Goose Creek does not take competitor coupons. Publix in Goose Creek does. But there is new policy – 1 store coupon per visit!

        • MCH

call Publix corporate customer service – that is against corporate policy

    • Melissa

I just got back from my weekly shopping trip to Publix and boy do I love the savings! I spent 13.20 and saved 33.47! The cashier that rang me up was applauding my efforts and said she loved to see her customers save money. Her name was Patty and she was wonderful! It makes me feel great to go into a store and save money and have the blessing of the people that work there!

    • Megan

This was probably mentioned earlier but, there is a .50 coupon for ragu in the Seasonal Wellness book found at Food Lion. Makes ragu $.09 each!!!!

      • Natalie

        Hi folks,

Had my first Southern Savers Publix trip last night and I’m hooked! Spent $62, saved $102- $48 of which were coupons I learned about here! Thanks for all your hard work!!

    • robin

      Hello,
Quick question about the Tylenol Deal. One of the coupon options refers to a 2.00 off tyelenol PM or Simply Sleep in the 9/7 RP.
I cannot find this coupon. In fact, I looked in the archives and the closest date was 9/6 which was a week where there were no inserts. Anyone know where I can find this coupon?
      Thanks so much.

      • Jess

Try signing up for this free tylenol online calendar. There is a $2 off tylenol PM and a $1 off extra strength tylenol that you can print.

        http://www.tylenolcalendar.com/calendar/09/November

      • penny saver

There is a new tylenol pm $1 off in the red plum insert this past weekend, which would make it free. Hope that helps

    • MCH

My publix had a .75 off coupon for the swanson organic broth (2/$5 right now), in a little machine on the shelf.

    • I have couponed for many years, even when it was not so popular. I have shopped all grocery stores in a 20 mile range of my residence. Publix, is the best place to use coupons, in the West Georgia area.

    • Caroline

I just found that the Supreme Brownies have a 50/2 coupon for the same item inside the box! The only problem is the coupon is where the directions are located on the box.

    • Bonnie

I Shopped on Friday at the Lexington Sc Publix and the cashier would not double my coupons if they said DO NOT Double. Anyone else had this problem?

      • Michelle

My Publix in Athens, AL has started doing that as well. I guess I do not understand since Publix doubles are out of their own pocket anyway. But it is their right to do so….

    • Mitch

      ***Hey guys/girls***

Does anyone know where I can send Jenny a picture of my deals for this ad at Publix and my receipt?

I beat my all time record: I spent: $16 and SAVED: $185!!!

Sooooo excited. I got well over 55-60 items for $16!

I am donating 95% of it to charity for Thanksgiving.

      • Carin

Mitch – way to go!!! That is the best part of couponing – being able to donate soooo much :o) great job!

    • Mitch

Bonnie – thats ridiculous but I suppose it’s their perogitive since it’s up to the store to make their policy. Did you ask to speak to a manager?

The only problem with complaining is that Publix is the actual entity responsible for doubling the manufacturer coupon, not the manufacturer. The manufacturer took the time to have ‘do not double or triple’ written on the top. Publix and usually Kroger double the $.50 or less coupons simply as a bonus, and to keep people coming back. It is the stores loss, as when they do double those, they still only get back the $.50 from the manufacturer (or whatever the face value of the coupon is), not the doubled amount.

I would just try another publix and ask their policy!

    • Mitch

Oh, Bonnie, Jenny has written at the top of this page:

Coupon doubling does NOT apply in FL or coastal GA areas. I wonder if Lexington is the same… are you considered a coastal area in SC? That could be the issue.

I would just drive further inland if you are able to (assuming you are ‘coastal’) to a different publix, but call ahead to find out their policy beforehand so it’s not a waisted trip!

    • Abbe

The Publix in Cumming at 306 and 369 no longer will accept Food Lion coupons, only Kroger and Ingles. This happens as of the 14th of November.

    • Carrie

I’ll post this again and again!! The Publix on Coleman in Mt.Pleasant has the best customer manager BRENDA….. She loves to help those of us who use coupons and goes out of her way to help me. She has even opened up a separate cash register/ Doug is an excellent help as a bag man. He told me a great tip to remember my recycled bags… write bags and upromise on the top of my grocery list so that I don’t forget. It is a very friendly publix.
