These deals start today 7/15 or 7/16 in some areas. It is a pretty good week as usual at Publix. I’m quite pleased with the free deals in health and beauty items. Don’t forget to grab the advantage buy deal lists too before heading out.  The Green Advantage buy has money makers on Carefree products, and the Yellow Advantage Buy has smaller savings on many staple food items.

Remember:
1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
2. If you do buy 2 items that are B1G1 make sure you use 2 coupons to get the best deal
3. Publix accepts competitors coupons (you can stack with a manufacturers coupon and a Publix coupon too)
4. You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item
5. Most Publix locations double manufacturer coupons that are.50¢ or less

** #1 and #5 do not apply in FL and coastal GA**

when i went to the publix in mauldin last night, the customer service lady told me that they were totally out of the gas card from last week but to “save your coupon and we’ll honor it when we get some back in”
soo… i grabbed a few ads on the way out :)

    • tina

What is the gas card about, I must have missed this some where…lol

    • Meredith

When I went to Publix in Chattanooga yesterday, they were all out of the Green Adv. flyer. When I asked Cust. Ser. to look at their master copy, they said there wasn’t a coupon for the Carefree, Stayfree, etc. Has anyone else had this problem?

    • Amy

What’s in the Fuel for School booklet? Is that a Publix booklet?

    • When I signed up with the Nestle Family products site I got a q for $1 off of the stouffers skillet meals.

    • Jenny
I am having trouble getting the Purina cat food coupon.
I did the survey several times but the coupon never comes up.
It says “Got your coupon? Now give back.”
But I never got the coupon!!

    • Never mind I figured it out!

    • Jennifer

Where can I get these Smart Summertime Savings, Green Advantage Buy Flyer, $120 Savings Rebate Booklet and All American Picnic?

    • Shelley

Does anyone know where I can find the How do you eggo booklet?

    • Veronica

      Aymie,
Hey, the same thing happened to me when I went for the Purina Dog Chow coupon. It said they same thing and said I had already printed the coupon. What did you do to fix it?
      Thanks!

    • Mindy

The Febreze Noticables are only $5 dollars at Wal-Mart. Use the $4 coupon and get them for a buck. I got five of them the other day.

    • Food Lion coupons for $2/5 in produce and $1/5 in Bakery! And $1 off the Kraft Shredded Cheese that counts for the Kraft rebate… woo hooo!!!

    • Amanda

I’ve had no luck with the Smart summertime savings book..both stores in town have said they don’t know what it is.

    • jerri

      Hi!
Where did you find the How do you eggo booklet, I’m trying to keep up with the booklets.

    • Linda

Purina Cat food not a bad deal but I hope to use my coupons for the free 16-18 oz Purina Kitten Chow found in the 4/26 SS before they expire. Does anyone know where I can find that size? I have looked everywhere in my area (Central FL) and can’t seem to locate that small size bag. Kitty and I thank you in advance…

    • Erin

If you are a Quaker Oatmeal family (my kids love oatmeal!), there have been several coupons for $1/2 Quaker Chewy Granola Bars on the inside of the oatmeal box.

    • JEB

I got an email from Marzetti and got a .50 cent Q for New York Texas toast…it may be on their website or you may have to subscribe to their newsletter. It would make it $1 after coupon doubles.

    • JEB

I shop the Lexington, SC store and have had no luck finding the Family Is its Own Reward or Smart Summertime Savings books.

    • Joy

Linda, I found the small bags at Kroger. WalMart might also have them.

    • Ryann

I have looked everywhere for that size Kitten Chow as well with no luck!!

    • Michelle

In my store ad, in Athens, AL there is also a 2.00 off Pampers wipes (when you buy pampers big box cruisers) in store ad coupon.

    • Amy

The Forest Acres, SC Publix will honor the gas card coupons until Thursday. My husband went to stock up yesterday and they had tons left. What a great deal! (Tina, you pay $40 for a $50 gas card).

Linda, I have looked everywhere in the Columbia, SC area and I cannot find that size Purina Kitten Chow either.

JEB, I shop Lexington too. The Smart Summertime Savings books were there about 3 weeks ago. Don’t know if they have anymore left. You have to ask at customer service. They are keeping fliers and booklets behind the counter now.

      Amy

    • Heather

where is the food lion $2 off $5 coupon?

      Thanks

    • Heather

      NM, I found it! sorry!

    • Lindsay

On the Nestle Goodstart Formula, Nestle has a money-back guarantee which will refund the purchase price of one (1) can.
      http://media.gerber.com/nirf/cm2/upload/A21519C5-13D5-45DF-BBFD-B6235DF22305/moneyback_request.pdf

You can get a can basically for free. I dont use this kind of formula because its so expensive, but to anyone else thinking of purchasing a can..here you go.

    • Dionne

Aymie – How did you figure out how to print the Purina One cat food coupon. The same thing keeps happening to me and it is DRIVING ME CRAZY!! I really need to pick this up this week and it would be very helpful…Thanks!!!

    • Ryann

You have to pick a shelter and it will give you the coupon on the next page!

    • Christy L

I went to Publix last night and got a rain check for the BP card deal… she said only one per customer though. Hey, it’s $10 in free gas for my husband :)

How is the Stayfree a money maker? I have the coupon but do not see it in the list…

      Thank You!

    • Dionne

Ryann – Did that the first time. Still didn’t get the coupon and when I go back and try to do it, it tells me I already printed it. : (

    • Heather

are the bic pencils b1g1? you have it as free with the $.50 coupon off $1

    • Ln

      Heather,

The $.50 coupon will double to $1.00.

    • Heather

I’m not understanding your math here:

Stonyfield Farm Yogurt, 6 oz cup .60¢ ea
-.50/3 Stonyfiled Farm 6 oz cups printable (makes it .26¢ ea)
-.75/4 Stonyfiled Farm 6 oz cups printable

      $.60 * 3 = $1.80 – .50 = $1.30 divided by 3 = $.43 each… how are you getting $.26 each?

the $.75 off makes them $.41 each

      am I doing something wrong?

    • Heather

      ln,
thanks, FL doesn’t double, but now I understand. (I live in FL)

    • Heather

which now explains the $.26 yogurts. I forget that publix doubles outside of FL, thanks.

    • Sherry M

Heather, that’s one of the few questions I can answer, I’m new at this. They will double the $.50 coupon, making it a dollar off, which makes it free. I looked at it at first like “what?” then I finally remembered.

    • JMR

We also had the in-ad coupon for $2.00 off Pampers wipes in Birmingham. There is also a Buy 2 8pk 20oz bottle Gatorades get 5 710 ml. Propel Fitness Water for free.

    • Linds

The link for the Nestle Goodstart Printable coupon says the “offer has expired.” Just a heads up. Thanks.

    • Misty

Why do I keep getting messages that say I have printed coupons I haven’t?

    • Ashley

I found the FREE purina at Kroger. I dont know if you have Kroger so maybe check pet stores. I am in Middle TN

    • Maggie

On Dealseekingmom.com there is a $5 off $25 for RiteAid- my publix took this last week no questions- so run and print it off ladies!!

    • Ln

I just called my publix and asked about the price of the pedigree good bites. They are reg. priced at 3.49, so with the bogo sale they are 1.75 before any q’s are applied. Hope this helps.

    • Elizabeth M.

Dionne, I was able to print one. I don’t have a cat so if you would like me to send it somewhere, let me know.

Also, I found that if you do the process again, but use a different e-mail address, it let you print another coupon. My second go, I printed one for dogs, which I do have.

      Elizabeth

    • Elizabeth M.

I just noticed the coupon says Dog or Cat food.

      Elizabeth

    • Amy

My Publix in N. Central FL will no longer accept CVS or Walgreen coupons – something to do with their “cards”. They also will only accept Target coupons, and not Super Target coupons since we don’t have a Super Target store. If I put a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon, they ring the MF coupon for the $ amount, but the store coupon they only ring for the difference – no overage. And if the coupon says “limit one coupon per purchase”, then they’ll only accept one coupon, so you’d have to make several trips to stock up! They are really getting strict.

    • Amy

I think if you get a message that says already printed coupons when you haven’t, means that there are no longer any coupons available for that product – in other words, the campaign is over.

    • Amy

Most of the coupons in the Smart summertime savings book expired in June. If you store hasn’t received the books yet, it’s likely they won’t at this point. Probably should start looking for the Fuel for School booklet.

    • Dionne

Elizabeth – if you could email it to me at dionneryff@comcast.net, that would be AWESOME!!! Thanks!!! : )

    • vana

I’ve never had any luck getting that purina coupon to print, very frustrating.

    • Mindy W.

      Meredith-
I went to the Chattanooga Publix (at Snow Hill) and used the Stayfree coupon just fine. It is inside the green flyer top righthand side.

      Christy L –
I made money with the stayfree coupon here is what I did:

      (3) Carefree pantyliners @ $1.39 each
used: (3) $.50 off coupons (link from Jenny’s post)
      (1) $3.00 off from green flyer
after the $.50 coupons doubled and using the green flyer coupon I made a proffit of $1.80

Hope this helps and happy couponing!!

    • Heather

      what browser are you using?

I’m on a mac and generally use Firefox, there are some sites that won’t print on Firefox, so I have to switch to safari. on safari, they usually print.

      try changing your internet browser.

      Linda,

I am in Central Florida and I found that size cat food in K Mart and PetSmart. Hope this helps.

    • Sarah

I can not find the 2.00/2 kens dressing food lion coupon . Can some one help me please ?

      Sarah

    • Kelly

How is stayfree a money maker?

    • Angie

      Jenny-

I want to thank you so very much for this site. What a terrific blessing it has been to my family. I have been following the deals for about 1 month now and my husband is amazed at the savings (and the surplus of shaving cream). I have question about Cheerios and the Publix BOGO. Does anyone know if the Strawberry Yogurt Cheerios are ever included in the BOGO or is it always the Original, MultiGrain and Honeynut Cheerios? I have a 3 y/o and a 4y/o and between the 2 of them we go through more than a box a week of Strawberry Yogurt Cheerios, so any advice for this product would be greatly appreciated.

    • Alicia

      Sarah,
If you click on the Food Lion coupons for either the Kraft Cheese or $2 off $5 produce if will link to a list of coupons, one of which is the Ken’s. Just click on the blue link underneath the one you want and it will print. Hope that helps.

    • SCYankee

At the Trolley Road publix, right guard fast break was not B1G1. Only the right guard sport varieties.

    • keri

I tried to print the $2/$5 produce purchase from the .pdf link, but it wasn’t included in the .pdf file – there was a $1/$5 bakery purchase. Am I the only one running into this?

    • keri

Disregard my post above. I’ve got it now, thanks!

    • Linda and Ryann
I found the kitty chow at Walmart.
It was on the top shelf in a zip bag.

    • .Jennifer

      Thanks for posting these Jenny!

I am disappointed though. :-( I was SO hoping that the bakery Croissants (or however you spell that) would be BOGO this week. I used my last one from the freezer earlier this week. Oh well. Maybe I can find them somewhere else.

    • lauren

Did I miss something at Kraft?? I thought ONLY the products listed in the box on the Kraft rebate form are eligible for the rebate- so, the Cereal and eggo’s on sale this week are NOT part of the rebate promotion.

    • I thought Publix only accepted competitor coupons on store brand for store brand. I’m really new at this & I’m in FL.

    • Jill

      Hello!

Does anyone know of a Publix in Greenville that still has General Mills cereal boxes with the Movie promo on it??? They had tons of them at the Publix at Furman on Sunday and when I went back last night they were GONE!!! I only need one more to get my movie tickets!!

      AHHH!!! HELP!!

    • Amy

      Amy,

Where in Central Florida do you live? Have you already received the “Fuel for School” booklet?

    • BeccaM

As far as the Centrum Multivitamin goes, you can get the $5 rebate from their website, but it says that it only applies to their Centrum or Centrum Silver. I also found the $5 off 2 coupon on their website but it only applies to the Centrum Ultra (which the rebate says it excludes). So bottom line…pick one or the other. I’m not sure about the rebate in the paper, since we didn’t get that rebate in our paper.

    • Michelle

At Publix in Athens, AL the coffee mate that is b1g1 free is only non flavored ones. When I gota Hazelnut, it range up at 3.19. Just letting you all know.

    • Holly A

      Lauren –

You did miss something there are two different rebates going on…
      1. Kraft (Publix specific)
      2. Kellogg’s Fuel for School (any store), hince the Eggos and cereal.

    • For the first time, I broke the 50% savings goal in a grocery trip!! I actually saved 72% off my total today at Publix!! I love the band-aid deal (be aware that the $5 off 3 products also includes Johnson & Johnson Red Cross items, which had a coupon out a few weeks ago…doesn’t make the whole thing a money maker, but if you need tape or large gauze, great savings!).
Also, the Bic mechanical pencil printable coupon for .50 off is supposedly not one to double (read fine print), but my Publix did it anyway. Just be prepared, instead of free you might end up paying 50 cents for your pencils if the coupon doesn’t double at your register.
A LOT of the cat food packages also have peelies on them right now, either for $1-2 off or for money off Tidy Cat.

    • Amy

I haven’t found the Fuel for School booklet, but will keep watching for it – I think we’re a little slower here.

    • Terrica

      Keri-

    • Terrica

      Sorry about that…Keri,
I am not seeing the $2 off $5 dollars worth of produce Food Lion coupon either. I wonder where we can find this?? Any tips?

    • Linda

Miralys, #51, Aymie #59, Ashley #39, Joy #19, and Ryann #20 No luck at my Kmart for that size kitten food, I will try Petsmart tomorrow. I have tried Walmart, Publix, Winn Dixie, Albertsons, CVS and Walgreens. There are no Kroger’s here. Has anyone checked Dollar General?
BTW: there is a $5.00 off $50.00 Albertsons Coupon good for Fri,Sat,Sun (17th-19th. I found mine in the Albertsons flyer sent to my home in Central FL area. My Publix gladly accepts them!

    • Betsy

      Michelle,
I am in Decatur, AL and I kind of wondered about the creamer when I saw the price and the picture on the ad. I’m glad you told me. We’re hooked on flavored creamer and I was pumped about getting it for $.10! But for $.10, I think I might try some regular!

    • tina

Is the BP gas card still for this week?? Sorry out of sorts with the couponing. Thanks!!

    • Ryann

I have tried several Wal-Marts, Publix, Target, CVS, Walgreens and no kitty food that size. There is a K-Mart that I never go to close to my Publix, so I can run in there. Dollar General is a good idea, too. Maybe I’ll check there as well.

    • Linda
Where in Central FL do you live?
I live in Cocoa (PSJ) in Brevard county…
Where can I find the Albertsons coupon??? Would love to use this at Publix!

    • Anyone know if the banana nut cheerios are bogo?? I love those things!!!!

    • Alison V.

JUST FYI…in Chattanooga at Hixson and E. Brainerd, they aren’t taking the $$$ off $$$ purchase compet q’s anymore. oh, and the hixson store told my cousin last week that she couldn’t stack publix + compet+ manuf q’s and that she never could and that anybody who ever did that for her was in the wrong….i wish they’d make up their minds!!!

    • Jess

There is also a $1.00 off coupon for the New York Texas toast in the june All You mag

    • Aymie…the Albertson’s coupon was in their flyer with today’s paper…unfortunately it is not in the flyers located at the stores :(

    • Michelle

      Hi Betsy,

Yeah, I was pretty bummed out but thought it was going to turn out that way when I got to the creamer section. The sale ad on the glass door of the creamer section said you saved $2.19 and I noticed the Hazelnut was $3.19. So I asked the cashier to scan it first to see if it was included because I didn’t want to get out to my car only to realize I hadn’t gotten the deal I expected. We are hooked on the Hazelnut and I cannot drink my coffee without it!

    • Michelle

Also at the Athens, AL location of Publix, the Pepperidge Farms swirl bread was marked at three something and was not b1g1 free.

    • meg

      Linda,
I saw at another board that the right size kitten food (free) can be found at one of the Dollar Stores….

    • Stephanie

Thanks for all you do – I love saving so much money!
There is a $1/1 coupon for the Tyson skillet meals that are B1G1 at embracedinner.com along with a rebate for one free.

    • Stephanie

Opps – It is the Stouffer’s on sale not the Tyson – but you can still get one for free.

    • Michele

Gas card promotion: The Publix last night told me to bring the coupon for the $10 off BP or Shell gas cards between now and next Tuesday and they would redeem IF they received any more.

Jill, in regards to the movie pass on the cereal boxes, I only have one and would be glad to get it to you. I shop in Taylors, live in Greer and work in Greenville.

    • Michele

Jill, I just realized my movie pass came from a pop tarts box. Is that the same as what you need? Will it be helpful to you??

    • Tarrah R.

Elizabeth M Comment #42- Thank you for the different email address idea on the dog/cat food. I was bummed when I printed both mine already awhile back, but now, there’s hope! :-) God Bless!

    • Kelli

Can I use a Food Lion q if there is no Food Lion in our town? Does that go for Target also? We live in a small town in Central FL and don’t have either of these stores near. Thank you.

    • Ginger

I was just responding to the comment that publix was getting really strict on the coupons I have also noticed this my neighbor went to a couponing class and was soo excited telling me you could use a competiter coupon and a manufacturer coupon on the same purchase and so on so I went shopping with her and they wouldnt let her do it they even called a manager over and they said they wouldnt take food lion at all because we dont have them in AL and that they wouldnt take drug store or target coupons only other grocery stores also I had a dog treat coupon that they ask where I got it and it came off of the Hotel for dogs dvd and the checker ask me if I had bought the dvd! Ofcourse we had bought it do they think I go around Wal- Mart pulling coupons off of things and sticking them in my purse? The workers there previously had always been so nice so now we are both very dissapointed.

    • Does anyone have the rebate form for the Centrum Products from the 7/12 RP?

      I need it
If you have it…I could trade you coupons for it…I have a good selection

Where in Central FL do you live?

Where can I find the Albertsons coupon??? Would love to use this at Publix!

    • evelonies

stouffer’s skillet meals tearpad coupon $2/1 – makes them 49 cents each! :)

    • evelonies

      oops, scratch that, they’re $1/1 coupons. . . still a good price, considering they’re normally $6.99 each!

    • Hi everyone,

I need some help!!! I am way up north (Traverse City Michigan) trying to help my family with these incredible strategies but I dont know any of the corporate policies or the best place to go. They are sooooo limited here with a Meijers, Toms food market, Olesons,Spartan. PLEASE IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A WEBSITE HERE TO HELP>>>>>WE NEED IT!!!!!
      Thanks!

    • Lisa

      Aymie & Carrie –

Albertson’s grocery ads are only placed in FL Today papers within a certian range of the stores, the closest one to us is Melbourne, so papers this far north don’t get the ad. My mom works in South Rockledge, so the paper that goes to her office gets one. However, I regularly shop at the Publix on 524 in Cocoa and use the $5/50 with no problems. ALbertson’s ads used to be in the Hometown News that I would pick up at the Central Brevard Library, but that was a while ago, next time I’m there, I’ll see if they have any.

    • lynn

the publix iam going to no longer takes manf.coupons and dore coupons together the have sited a couple of reasons 1. they said that syore coupons are reimbersed by the manf. 2.that store coupons are all saying cant be used with any other coupon…..also i follow what is on here to do my shopping so iam getting fantastic deals and the store doesnt seem to like it they get a manager noww everytime i check out and sre verry strict about the above statd new rule …any ideas …….

    • lynn

kelli where in central florida iam in the tampa bay area and we cant use those coupons here we can use only traditional stores that are local

    • Kelli

I am in Lake Placid, south of Lake Wales and Sebring. The closest Target is an hour away and there’s not a Food Lion anywhere that I can find. I don’t know how far away Publix considers “competitors”.

    • Lisa
I sometimes go to the 524 Publix when I go to the bank…
Its really not that far from me. I actually had to go to that CVS because the PSJ one wasnt doing the photobooks…
However, I have never really tried to use coupon at the one on 524… I think I did once and had a bad experience…
Are they usually good about competitors and multiple coupons??

We found this cute book at the library. My daughter loved it and I could relate, although her only antics involved standing up in the seat and trying to do the credit card machine, even though in her floppy seat cover. We quit using it after that and just use the store belt now.

      Supermarket! by Charlotte Doyle

    • Lisa

      Aymie,

They have questioned a few, a Target catalina and the sav-a-lot q, each time the cashiers go ask the manager and come back and say we’ll take it this time. They take W/D, Albertson’s’ and Target mailers or IP’s with no problem, I haven’t tried anyone else. I’ve never had a problem stacking store and manu., either.

I usually shop weekday mornings and the ladies that cashier then have been around for years, very friendly.

    • Terri

For anyone shopping at the Ooltewah, TN publix–they have two things at the customer service desk.
      1. A kraft coupon for Buy 1 chips ahoy and 1 capri sun and get $2.00 off. I used two coups and I got 2 capri suns and 2 chips ahoy for $3. 78.
      2. They also have the unilever/back to school coupon books. It has a $1.00 off 2 barilla pasta sauces which are b1g1 this week.

    • Does anyone know where I can get the eggo bake shop coupon? I can’t find it anymore.
      Thanks!

    • Linda

Aymie #77 I am in the Tampa area. Flyers were in the Tampa Tribune Paper and mine came in the mail. I have heard that you can go to any Albertson’s store ask at their courtesy booth to have your name put on their mailing list for their weekly ads. They should have a form for this. It will take a few weeks then the ad should come directly to your house.

    • Family is its own reward also had a $1 off 1 Barilla pasta sauce which makes that 38cents this week.

    • JEB

      Kelly, #97

Have you tried couponmom.com site? It covers other states besides the south for sales and matchups. Or maybe http://www.hotcouponworld.com or afullcup.com?

    • Terri-
Thanks for sharing with us Cleveland/Ooltewah Publix Shoppers!! I run a blog for our area and I’d love if you would share with us on our local couponer forum!!

      jillliz79@aol.com

      Thanks!!!!!

    • Willowbeth

Has anyone mentioned that there is also a $1/2 any Pepsi 2 ltr in the Triathalon book. You should be able to combine that with the b2g1 because you are buying 3 items? that would make them 3 for $2.

    • Teri

Linda and Ryann, I had customer service special order the correct size of kitten food and used a ton of coupons getting them for free! It takes a few weeks for them to come in.

    • Krystal

My Publix in Dallas, GA on East Paulding has wont take the FL coupons even though there is one 5 miles away….LOL

They have also stopped taking the $5/50 and so on. I’ve been saving papers since 5/31 and am saving so much! Thanks for all you do!

    • Krystal

      has wont……Woops! :-)

    • Cori

Did the Bandaids and worked great!

    • Betsy

      Kelli from comment #101.

I am also in Lake Placid and our Publix does accept Food Lion and Target coupons. The managers are very helpful if you ever have questions and most of the cashiers are familiar with this policy.

If you have any other questions about our store, feel free to contact me: betsyc06@yahoo.com

    • I am so thrilled with your website.I went in to get the pedigree good bites. They were B1G1 FREE. I ran across a B1g1 Free in the store. So I only had to pay the taxe.Isn’t life grand.

    • Lin

They now refuse to combine manufacture coupon and store coupon!! I shopped at Rosewood Publix in Columbia, SC. Did anyone have such situation these days? I know previously they did take both. Is it because I shopped late in the day so they became aware of the couponing thing? Also, the BANDAID did not work well as Jenny supposed at that store. What a sad change! I frequent that store before and it was good until tonight!!!

    • Sharon in SC

Lin, same thing here in Lexington for me, they havent taken both for awhile
I guess it is all in who you know cause I have heard others say they can do it. Wish they would get it straight for all.

    • Michele

Jill, I emailed the movie code to you. Please reply to let me know you got it, thanks.

    • Susie

Are ya’ll saying I can use Food Lion $2 off $5 produce coupon at other grocery stores?

    • pern

Linda, K-mart and Family Dollar carry the 16-18 oz purina kitten chow.
When I purchase from kmart it was 1.99 and family dollar was 1.79.

    • pern

Lin I used both coupons together at publix in columbia on broad river and the harbison store yesterday without a problem.

    • Susie,
Publix will take your Food Lion coupons. It is possible that Ingles will, as well.

    • Susie

      Thanks, Sarah Beth!

    • Amy

Kelly #97 above .. try bargainbriana.com .. she’s in Indiana but has several stores .. and love afullcup.com … great deals around with thrifty women! :)

    • Chris

Quick question about the publix Coffee Mate Creamer.

      Nestle Coffee-Mate Creamer 32 oz, at $2.39
-.50/1 Coffee-Mate RP 6/28 or June All You Mag.
-$1 off Coffee-Mate printable (either coupon makes it .19¢ ea)
-.55/1 Coffee-Mate Sugar free or fat free printable
      -$1.50/2 Coffee-Mate printable

I have the $1.00 off coupon, but how does that translate to .19 cents?? I looked through the website to see if I could figure it out, but I am stumped…

    • Brittany

Gainsesville Florida has the Right Guard deodrants BOGOF and $1 off any product stickers actually on the deodorants- pick up 2 with stickers and you get 2 for 79 cents. They do not have the Pepsi 2 liters at $1.50.

    • Veronica

      Chris,
Since the Nestle Coffee-Mate Creamer is $2.39 for 2, you can use 2 $1 off coupons making them .39 cents for 2, thus .19 cents for 1. When you buy anything that is B1G1, you can use 2 coupons since you are buying 2. Also at Publix, the .50 coupons double so if you have two of those, you’ll get $2.00 off. I hope this makes sense.

    • lynn

i just wanted to say thank you to every on who responed to my printer problem last week and thank you all for you time and advice now to let you know my replacement printer from lexmark came in yesterday and they also had ugraded my printer and i can now use refill ink so perhaps i can start saving mony on ink now i have never used refill ink so if any of you all have advice about it i would love to hear it thanks a million

HELP – I am trying to find out where I can get the How do you Eggo booklet and the Fuel for School….does anyone know????

    • Julia

BTW – I live in Marietta, GA

    • Jenn

Kelli #97 We are originally from MI, and spent a lot of time up in TC, beautiful country!! Anyways, if you check Jenny’s Friday Finals there are quite often couponers who love Meijers. When we come home, we often shop there but there prices have sky-rocketed since we moved out of state 5 years ago.

If there is a Kroger nearby, that’s another great store!!

WalMart is another possibility. they don’t double but usually have lower prices, so any coupon over $.60 works great there(and the same as it would at our Bi-lo and Publix)!!

Also, I would call the various grocery stores around and ask them their coupon policies. Because even though most of us on here are in the south, often times each store, even within the same company, is different.

      HTH

    • Learning2CouponFL

      Kelli,

The Central Florida Publix near me (Champions Gate area, between Orlando and Lakeland) will take Food Lion coupons, even though I don’t think there are any FL nearby. In fact I didn’t know there were any left in Florida until a coworker mentioned that there’s one in Deltona, which is hours away.

Mine won’t take Target/Super Target even though there’s one very close but I think that’s because it’s not considered a traditional grocery store.

Don’t forget about Winn Dixie, Sweet Bay and Whole Foods. I go to Winn Dixie during their meat sales and a $10/$50 coupon usually prints from the Catalina machine and I use those at Publix without any problems.

Since it’s up to the individual manager I would just call the stores in your area and ask. You might be plesantly suprised :)

    • ChristinaD

Michelle in Greenville, Hi, I was just wondering if you know if the Mauldin store is still honoring those gas card Qs. I feel silly cause I just went to Publix last night and did the Kraft deal TWICE thinking that it was $50 BEFORE coupons. So now I have receipts saying I bought products, but of course, I hardly paid any at all AFTER coupons. Oops. So now I’m wondering if I can get some gas cards and send in those receipts along with mine from last night (or would they HAVE to be on the same receipt together?). Things that make you go HMMM.

    • My local publix is no longer taking Target coupons. They are really cracking down on people abusing coupons. Girls I urge you to be honest in your coupon use. Stop photocoping coupons. Its wrong and you are going to end up spoiling it for us all. Thanks for all your advise and help. I love clipping coupons and saving money.

    • The Roswell Publix told me that I can’t use a store Q with a manufacturer’s Q anymore also! What is going on?

    • gretchen

Rolling my eyes at my usually fabulous Publix. Today they let me do the Bandaid scenario, but the cashier balked at the Carefree deal, and wouldn’t let me use the store coupon and the three manuf. coupons. OY!

    • lynn

lesley i dont think people would be coping coupons they wont scam if you copy them…. but yes they seem to be doing away with using a store coupon and a manf do you have any thoughts on this

    • diane

      Hi
      spent 29.08 and saved 33.56

    • Sylvie

      Jen,

Which Roswell Publix was it? I’ve switched from shopping at the Kings Market one to the Haynes Bridge/Old Alabama one. The Kings Market Publix doesn’t take Super Target coupons at all and they’re CLOSER to the Super Target… go figure!

I made a run to the Kings Market one the other day because I only had straight-forward manufacturer coupons and was only buying a few select things… they analyzed every single coupon… laying them out on the counter and entering them in one by one as they scanned the items. It was almost as if the cashier had never seen a coupon before in her life! :)

Is there another non-coupon-friendly Roswell store I should add to my list?

    • Susie

I’m doing the kraft rebate and the Centrum Silver rebate and bought them on the same receipt. Am I going to get in trouble if I mail a copy of the receipt for one of the rebates?
I’m new to all of this and am going crazy getting these deals. Thank you so much!

    • rebecca

Aymie–I have yet to be able to print my coupon and it says “now give back”… what did you do to fix it???????? Right now I can stack 2 Pedigree q’s for $42 worth of dog treats for $5 to keep a couple bags and donate the rest to the local SPCA, but I could REALLY use that printable q (or 2) to stack and donate that food too! I would take every one of those animals if I could, but there will just be more tomorrow, so I do what I can. My kids LOVE to go visit and help love on the animals while they’re there (especially when there’s kittens!–which we did bring one of those home–couldn’t convince dh to let us bring mama and the other 3 too!). tia

    • Erin

Lesley – You can’t photocopy your coupons and use them because they won’t scan. Each bar code is different for each computer. You would have to have 2 computers with 2 different ip addresses to be able to have 2 “viable” coupons.

I do however know one lady who has 4 computers in her house……. but that’s not really cheating. She has the computers and has the right to print them out. At least that’s the way I see it?

    • Jeni

I went to the Ooltewah Publix to use my newly formed couponing skills to work. I am so excited, I saved $80.00. But they would not accept the $2 off $5 produce. Anyway, I loved that place. Customer service was awesome. I appologized for being a “newbie” and she just said “why? I use coupons too.”

    • Kim S.

      Hello All,

I am so sorry to hear that some of you are having trouble with store and manu. coupons. I hope this is not going to become a storewide policy. I only started shopping at Publix because of the great BOGO deals and coupons. I hope we do not loose a great opportunity to save money legally.

I have tried to access an print the BIC coupon and had not luck. Any sugesstions?

    • Allison

I went to the Goose Creek Publix today. I had about $40 worth of items in my cart. When the cashier got to the last 2 coupons, she said the computer wouldn’t take them – that I had reached my limit. I would not have gone below 0 (close, but not quite). When I asked her what that meant, she said it was based on the amount of my order. Does anyone know what that means?

    • can someone explain the policy of target and food lion coupons?? how many can you use per transaction at publix? im so confused!

      thanks!

    • Lynn and Erin,
As regards to the coupon photocoping I was only sharing what the cashier at Publix E.Brainerd Rd in Chattanooga told with me. They are seeing a lot of copied coupons, one lady even copied them on the store photocopier she said. The cashiers are now taking classes on coupons she said!

    • rebecca

Triathlon booklet? Eggo booklet? Summertime Savings booklet? My store usually has dozens of books just laying everywhere, but I’ve not seen these!!!! They even removed all the yellow advantage flyers!!!!!! WHAT’S GOING ON!!!!!! With 7 kids (3 are teens) we go through ALOT of soda! I really could use that $1/2 q this week!!!!!!

No one mentioned the Dannon Light & Fit 20/$10 also has a matching blinkie for B6G1, it makes them only 43¢ each!

And one of the stockers was filling the sour cream yesterday when I inquired about the Dan-O-Ninos, cuz there were only 4 on the shelf (3/$5) and he said they weren’t gonna carry it anymore, that they throw away more than they sell, and that’s the last of it. Guess what–either he’s misinformed or I’m seeing things cuz ALL 3 kinds were fully stocked this afternoon! Still 3/$5. Putting 20 q’s BACK in binder!!! GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

    • rebecca

Allison in post#151… it means you had too many qs probably. A manager can override it. I ALWAYS have that happen!

Harris Teeter in N.Va will take FL q’s.

Jess in post#152… Publix take competitors q’s. Some have their own rules, so I’ll example my awesome store! Say i cut a mfr q from the newspaper for $.75 off Ritz. Target has a printable q for $1 off Ritz. I can STACK those togther to get $1.75 off 1 box at Publix. Normally at $3.79, when they bogo they come to $1.90, which means stacking my mfr with my comp q, I can get them for 15¢/box. Get it? Can’t stack 2 comp q’s or 2 mfr q’s or 1 pub w/1 comp, but you can stack one mfr w/one competitor or one mfr with one publix. HTH

    • Denita

7/18/09 – Publix has Eggo Waffles BOGOF @ $1.99 each. If you have the $1.00 off coupon, use (2) to get these items FREE. Secondly, There is a $5.00 off coupon in the Publix coupon booklet for Johnson’s band aid products. These are $2.19 each.
Get (3) boxes of bandaids at $2.19 each
      Use ( 1 ) Publix coupon for $5.00 off (3) bandaids
Use (2) 0.50 manufacturers coupons for Johnson’s bandaids and get all 3 boxes for 0.57.

      To Chris ( July 17 )- a 0.50 cent coupon will double at Publix = 1.00
2 / 0.50 coupons each will double yielding 2.00. Can’t explain the 0.19 because I do not know your city of residence and the tax that you will have to pay or if the tax was adjusted because of your total amount.

    • Denita

From the P/G coupons on 7 / 5/ 09, there is a $4.00 off coupon for Febreze NOTICEables. There are on sale now (7-18-09) for $5.99 at Publix. Your cost is $1.99 plus tax. This is great considering the regular price is $7.19.

    • Catrina M

      Allison,

It could mean two things. The coupon couldn’t take because you had more coupons than items. If that was the case someone from customer service would have to come enter the coupons in or you just would have to add to filler items. I always have more coupons than items and because I don’t want to call attention to myself at each visit I just purchase filler items.

It could also mean that your total was going to be in the negative after adding the last two coupons. So whatever that amount was that you were at minus the total amount of coupons you had left, you would have needed to add another item or items to take the total out of the negative.

This is just a hunch from what I have experienced! Hope this helps!

    • Nicole

If I have a BOGO raincheck on the hellman’s, can I use it during this ads BOGO deal and get them all for free?

    • Erin

      Lesley –

I thought about your cashiers comments as I was checking out this morning and remembered that even if the coupon wouldn’t work in one transaction, people COULD possibly use multiple copied coupons in multiple transactions. So I see her point!
But since that’s not honest, I hope people wouldn’t do that!

    • meagan

meijer has a $5 bag of purina coupons. either use to get free cat food or pay 1.49 for the big bag of dog food on sale this week

    • Terri

Had a great publix moment today- Got a gas card($50)using my coup from last week #10 off, 4 boxes of huggies washclothes BOGO raincheck from last week with (4) $1 coupsand I did the band-aid deal and got it all for $42 dollars. The cashier thought she had done something wrong. She double checked it twice. I left a happy shopper today!

    • DLS

      Jenny,
Can you explain the bandaid money maker deal? How can you use the $5/3 along with the $1/1? Don’t you have more coupons than product? Also, the pedigree dog treats were b1g1 and I had a b1g1 coupon for them. If I would have used that coupon would both of the treats have been free? I was afraid to try while not being sure. Thanks so much for all you do. We have been carpooling to Publix 45 minutes away and saving bunches!!!!

    • DLS

I just answered my dog treat question from a previous post. They would have been just the tax and I didn’t do it!! Shucks!!

    • Dana

Every “bricks” coupon I try to print says I have already printed the coupon the number of times allowed, even though I haven’t printed it at all. Why is that and does anyone know how to correct it? There are some great deals I want to take advantage of!

    • Barbara

The Publix in New Hope (Dallas) has changed their coupon policy again. They just changed it about four weeks ago to not accept any drugstore (CVS, Rite-Aid etc) Now they will not accept Target or Food Lion.

    • Katherine

Barbara, I go to the Publix at Seven Hills!!! MUCH more coupon friendly and they DO take my Target coupons. I have never tried Food Lion Coupons there. I think it is STUPID that the New Hope Publix won’t take Food Lion/Target coupons. The Food Lion on Hwy 61 is about to open and the Targets in Hiram and Acworth are BOTH supertargets!!! I did ALL of my grocery shopping at SuperTarget until I found this website. Target has a written CORPORATE policy that you can stack a manu and store coupon. Apparently, they have just begun price matching like Wal-Mart this week. If the Seven Hills Publix become non-coupon friendly, I will be returning to SuperTarget

    • lynn

can aanyone please ppost the smart source link for me that has the green dots i had to dump my computore to factory sttings and lost every thing thank you

    • lynn

also where can i find a copy of publix coupon policy?

    • Krystal

      Barbara,

I just got home from the New Hope Publix and they took my Target coupons, i think it is just whatever a casheir may or may not want to do. The store manager is Jason, talk to him. Very nice about the Taget, won’t take FL though.

      Hope this helps!

    • Katherine

Lynn there really isn’t a corporate wide coupon policy. Each store sets its own policies in regards to overage, competitor coupons, etc.

Krystal, do you know why they will no longer take the Food Lion coupons with the new store about to open up?

    • JEB

Any Taco Bell kit coupons out there? I saw mention of one on another site, but maybe you have to have certain zip code to find it?

    • Carmen

I cannot seem to find the spray N wash coupon. It was listed as SS 7/19 but do not see it. Any help would be great!

    • Carmen

      Jeb

A friend of mine did find a coupon on the box but when I went back, there was none left. Guess it was a sticker on the box.

    • Michele

ChristinaD #139 – I am not aware of the Mauldin Publix stores. Sorry but the Taylors Publix did have the gas card and was still taking the coupon through this coming Tuesday. One gas card per coupon.

    • Terri

      E. Brainerd/TN moms–I got $1 tearpad coups on the lunch size frito lay multi-pack chips. They’re on sale for I think 3.29 this week. I priced them at Wal-mart and they’re 5.98 for the same 22 bag pack. These are perfect for those back to school lunches.
Also, at Wal-mart there are Frito Lay coupon books(Hamilton Place location) on the multi-pack end cap. It says there’s $50 dollars in coupons:
      1. $1 off tropicana 128 oz.
      2. $1.00 off 2 chewy granola bars
      3. $1.00 off 2 (6packs) of Aquafina Flavorsplash
      4. $1.00 off Frito-Lay Vareity Pack of 20-22 count chips
      5. 1.00 off 2 Rubbermaid TakeAlong containers
      6. $10 off Didj Custom Gaming System
      7. *hotels.com $30 off when you book 2 nights code

    • Boo Hoo!! I just came in from shopping at Publix. They said they would no longer honor Food Lion coupons. Rats! I was getting such good deals too!

    • Nickie

Can someone please explain the fuel for school deal? I click on the link but cannot find where the rebate is—

    • Terri

      Cindy,

      Where do you shop?

    • Wendy

The Pedigree Good Bites for Dogs that are BOGO also have an in-store dispenser here with BOGO coupons, making them all free. This was in Palm Beach county FL.

    • Veda

I went to the Snellville Publix last week and the bagger not the cashier, told me they are no longer accepting Food Lion coupons, because there was not one close around, the manager let me go ahead and use them. I told him now that I know I will no longer bring FL coupons. The next morning I saw in the paper, where a new FL store was opening in Lawrenceville. I went back to the Snellville Publix Yesterday and they let me use Target, FL, and Walgreens coupons. I happy again!

    • susie

hi…did anyone know the answer to my earlier question? I’m doing the Kraft rebate and the Silver Centrum rebate and bought everything on the same receipt. Rebates ask for original receipts. Will I get the rebate if I copy the receipt to use for one of the rebates? I should have thought ahead and had two orders but I’m new to this.

    • Kelly

I just came back from shopping at the PUblix in Knightville area of Summerville and they will only take ONE $ off $$ (like $5 off $40) so my shopping trip wasn’t as good as I expected it to be. They also said they will not be accepting Target coupons anymore (and I just got done printing a slew of them). They do accept other grocery store and drugstore store coupons plus manufacturer coupons, so I guess it’s not all bad. Saved $57

    • Samantha

For anyone who is in the area of the Duluth, GA Publix on Peachtree Industrial, I found a bunch of Smart Summertime Savings books there tonight. There is a circular stand with all their pamphlets as you walk in but they aren’t there, they are in the corner to the right, next to the door as you walk in. There were a bunch of them there around 7pm tonight, so hopefully this helps someone!

    • Julie

Every Time i try to print out printable coupons (that are singles)…for example the Kraft $1 off coupon…I get the message of Install Printer. So I go through everything. I click Next, agree, then says my printer is being upgraded. Press Print and tells me to install coupon printer again! My computer consultant of a husband (no really that is his job) can’t get it to work correctly and is scared that it is giving my computer a virus or the like. We have just uninstalled it after going through install printer about 6 times. Any suggestions? these coupon will make such a huge deal!

    • I have a Publix question regarding stacking coupons, like you suggested for the cereal. The cashier was horrible at the coupons in general and had to spread them out and analyze, and then I watched her miss five dollars worth of the McCormick coupons…..that is a whole other rant.

Basically, if the store manager sets the policy for the coupon-ing…..then what are the important and best questions to call up and ask to make sure you’re getting the full value on the deals possible???

    • Cindy B.

      Julie,
I’ve had that problem with not being able to print coupons, too, and I don’t know a solution. But, FYI, my husband, also a computer consultant, found that some of the coupon-printing programs I had installed had put spyware on our computer. He spent a lot of time cleaning everything up. Now I’m trying to be more careful what I install, plus he put software on the computer to alert me if a program is trying to run something malicious.

    • There is a FoodLion in Fayetteville on CountyLine Rd, not sure in Clayton or Fayette County, according to the website, they are open. I will check it out tomorrow and let you guys know

    • Amber

I just called Publix in New Hope, and they said no more FL or Target. They might resume taking FL after the new store opens on Hiram Sudie. For now, I will drive a few more miles and shop at the Lost Mtn. store. No problems there with Food Lion, Target and Rite Aid $5/25 coupons as of a week ago.

    • Emily

On my trip yesteday I purchased three of the McCormick grinders, and had three separate coupons, one for each. The cashier questioned that, called the manager over, who said the coupons said one per purchase, so I could only use one. I said, no, it’s per purchase of each item and I had never had a problem before. She said she let me do it “this one time”. It was ridiculous and very ignorant of this woman as a manager of a grocery store.
I am so tired of them trying to make up some new stupid coupon rule every time I go shopping and being treated like a criminal!!

    • Emily

Oh, one other question… The last two weeks I’ve tried to get the Dan-o-nino yogurt for my child but they haven’t been on sale. Am I missing somthing?

    • Stacie

I can not seem to figure out how to find/print the fuel for school rebate form… the link in Jenny’s list just takes me to a description for Fuel for School… can anyone help direct me or post a link that will work???

    • Libby

      Emily,
I think the Dan-o-nino wasn’t on sale, it’s regular price was $1, you could just get it free with the coupon Publix put out. It might be priced differently at your store.

    • Emily

Thanks Libby! TThe only yogurt of that name I found at our store was a six pack and was regular price $3+… No thank you! :)

    • Tracie

      Susan #113….Bertolli @ Target

If you are trying to use your Bertolli $1 off coupon from Family is it’s Own Reward booklet before it expires, it’s on sale this week at Target for $1.70.

FYI: Q-Tips are one sale for $2.30 (375 count) and the coupon is in the same booklet.

    • Tracie
Where did you find the bertolli sauce on sale in the flyer??
The only Bertolli I see is the frozen meals which is not a good sale price. Thanks.

    • lynn

on the kids yougurt it was 1.00 then they changed the price mid week to 3 for 5.00 bummer did anyone eles notice a price change on them mid week? is fuel for school a coupon book or a rebate?

    • Tarrah R.

Emily-Same here- and for the amount of yogurt, so not worth it!

    • Justin

Could someone explain how to use a bogo coupon when an item is already bogo? For example, The pedigree treats were bogo this week, and there were in store Q’s for BOGO. And, I wasn’t sure how that worked to use a bogo Q on a BOGO item…I’ve seen a few times before where it would make it free…

    • VS

Does anyone use their Walgreen’s Register Rewards at Publix? I’ve seen on some blogs where people do this. How do you explain to publix that you can use them when they say “walgreens” Thanks!!!

    • Publix at Trenholm plaza has a coupon on the iceberg lettuce for $1.00 off when you buy a package of Oscar Myer Deli Meat. I bought two of the lettuce for .49 cents a piece with the coupon and then bought two of the meats with a $1.00 off two coupon. Yeah!!

    • Jen

I just got back from Publix and had a little problem. First, the cashier did not want to use the store and manufacturer coupons together for the J & J products (I bought 9 products, had three of the $5/3 store coupons, 4 $3/2 and 1 $1/1 munfacturer coupons). He said that I would save too much! Then an assistant manager came over and told me that I could use the store and manufacturer coupons together, but I could only use 1 store coupon per transaction (even though she explained it said one per purchase). Well, I was going to just leave my whole order there because I had planned it based on the J & J products, but then the cashier just sent me to the customer service desk. The lady there was very nice, looked over my coupons and said that I had done everything right and rang me up. Altogether, I spent $5.74 and saved over $51! That made me happy, but I wish that everyone would stop changing policies on me mid-transaction!

Has anyone else had the problem of not being able to use two of the same store coupons in one transaction? The cashier said it was a new policy once and then at another point said that it had been the policy for a long time. I always try to be as polite as possible, but I just get frustrated sometimes and start to cry when people keep telling me I’m doing things wrong and I hate crying because I don’t want them to think I’m trying to get away with something, I just don’t like it when people think I’m doing something wrong!

    • Jen

Sorry that was so long (post 202)! This was the Publix at Lexington place in SC. I usually go to the one downtown and will probably stick with them from now on!

    • LR

I couldn’t find the FL $3 off $10 deli purchase & the King Hawiian rolls coupon wouldn’t pull up either. Site said no coupons were available! Now I have to find something else for dinner – shoot!

    • Tarrah R.

I just got back from my Publix, and I am kicking myself so bad! I never wanted to ask before (afraid of rejection), but have made a repore (sp?) w/ one of the managers, so I finally decided to ask if they took Food Lion coupons. I know they take other compeditors, and I’ve always used the coupons from compeditors I know are in town, but we have not had a food lion for YEARS and just knew the answer would be no… I was WRONG, and have missed out on SOOO Much! Don’t be too shy to ask, gals; It’s WELL worth it!!! Good Luck and God Bless!
Oh, and I always thought we here in Florida got a bum deal because we HAVE to get two items, AND NONE of our coupons double- HOwever, if Our Publixs’ take ALL compeditors (whether Grocery or not), I think we may come out ahead sometimes, so now I feel better! :)

    • lynn

tarrah wheere in florida are you here i npr florida we cant use food lion we can only use win dixie sweetbay. and save a lot as they are the only grocery store competitores and a big no we cant use wgs target walmart or cvs… i still get some realy great deals but dont understand why not wags as the are maf. coupons and the do have the full reimbersment policy on them

    • JEB

      Jen,

I have had no problems ever at the Lexington store. They are always super nice to me and so helpful.

    • rebecca

The Dan-O-Nino at my store was $2 when I first read this post. Then I go with the hopes that it really said 2/$2, and there were only a few left and they were 3/$5. The stocker said “we throw away more than we sell, so that’s it, we won’t be getting anymore”. So I bought 4 and listed my remaining 20 q’s on another site as a trade. Turns out when I went Saturday (and got $710 worth of groceries for $270!!!) that all 3 flavors were fully stocked and they were all marked 3/$5. Those things are the perfect size for my 1yr old! HE LOVES THEM! Too bad yogurt doesn’t keep longer!!!!!!!

    • Tracie

      Aymie #196-

It wasn’t in the flyer, not sure why, just found the sale at the store. It’s the jar of Bertolli sauces that are on sale for $1.70 and with the FIIOR coupon it will be .70

    • Every Publix I think is a little different as far as who they consider competitors. To make my life easier I e-mailed corporate and the customer service manager from my store called me to clarify. My Publix will take Albertsons, Fresh Market, Winn Dixie and Walmart Neighborhood Market coupons only. It won’t take Target, Super Target, CVS, Walgrees, Kmart, Whole Foods or any out of area grocery store. This is crazy to me because there is a brand new awesome super target around the corner from this Publix but she said they don’t consider it a competitor but a department store. This is in Palm Beach County, FL.

She also said that I can stack MC and SC as long as there isn’t overage (although the computer never seems to notice). She said they have done the stacking for years.

Anyway, now that I have the policy if I have a problem with a cashier I can give them the customer service managers name and I’ll feel more confident about the coupons I’m usuing.

I always make sure to have enough filler items so I don’t have more coupons than items and their register/computer seems to like it that way!

    • Amanda

Just got back from my usually great Publix. They no longer take Walgreens coupons and now they’ve stopped accepting “internet” competitor coupons which basically means no more Food Lion FLIPs.
UGGG! Using the FLIPs saves me a lot, and this change is frustrating.
Anybody in the Augusta, GA area know of a Publix that still accepts the
FLIPs? (I usually shop in North Augusta but would cross the river to
      Georgia if I need to!)

    • Karla

There is currently a peelie on iceburg lettuce that says:
“Save $1.00 NOW on this lettuce wyb ONE package of Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Meats exp 10/31/09”
Iceburg lettuce is priced $1.49 at my store in Summerville, SC so that makes the lettuce only 49 cents! plus if you plan on doing a produce trip of $5 or more, you can combine it with the food lion coupon $2 off $5 you can get really cheap produce!

    • Kim

I just went to Publix in Northeast Columbia (SC)…I spent 34.00 and saved 38. I had a Dasani coupon for $3.99 and the cashier took that amount off instead of ringing it up for that price. I got my colgate for free, my cookies for pennies and a great deal on the toilet paper. Thanks to this awesome website. I have to go back now and get the new flyer and try my hand at the bandaids.

    • April

I just returned from a shopping trip to Publix in Prattville, Alabama. They have for the longest time excepted Food Lion coupons. Well, I was informed today that they no longer take Food Lion or Harvey’s coupons. This is so tragic for me. Food Lion coupons are always so good! Oh well. :(

    • ssh

I just got back from Publix in Lexington, SC. I spent around $13 and saved $29- that was really great for me since I never do that well because I always end up needing something that I don’t have a coupon for. I was so excited to be able to do the Band-Aid deal because we just ran out. I also had a peelie for $1.00 off 2 boxes of Ghirardelli brownies, so I couldn’t resist buying them. Thank you so much for this site- I am now able to afford a lot of things I couldn’t before. Shopping has become a game: “how much can I save?” I just also have to ask myself “do we really need that or do I just want it because it’s on sale?” :)

    • lynn

wow i ahve had few issues lately with the publix i shop at but just want to share a phone call i got today from my local publix yes they called to tell me this … thought they still will not be taking manf coupons and store coupons they did want to let me know that they will be taking any manf coupon that prints on a store reciept this means wags and kmart yippy i feel like doing the happy dance they said they had a big manaders meeting onthe coupon issue (i had called corperate to see if some one could explain the local coupon policy as it has been changing with every manager.) they also informed me the have been instructed to read every coupon properly (i have no problem there)this is per corperatebut just being able to use these few more coupons i have not been able to use because i did dare to question there reason s to why they were saying no seems like a small victory for both me the consumer and them the retailor so again yippy thank you mitchel at publix npr florida
