Today is rebate day…

Get a $10 Publix Gift Card from Kraft wyb (4) participating products at Publix.
publix-rebate-list
You must mail in the rebate form, and cash register receipts with products circled.  The reciepts must total $50.

  • The (4) products do NOT have to purchased at the same time.
  • The $50 does NOT have to be in the same trip (yay!)

Note:  The rebate period begins 7/13 (next Monday) and runs through 8/09.  Don’t go shopping yet!
Each household can submit for up to three rebates using the same form (and stamp!).

Just a heads up from experience last year, this is timed pretty smartly by Kraft and Publix and you will not see many of these items on a good sale during this period.

    i printed out the form and it doesn’t say when it starts. where did you find that it’s next monday? i’m hoping that i can get around it because i have lots of kraft stuff from last trip!!

      Look in the “Send” area and it says receipts must be dated 7/13-8/09. Sorry. There are tons of good deals this week… another reason the rebate starts next week :(

    The A-1 Steak sauce is B1G1 next week and with the $2 coupon it is free.

      Sadly it is the A1 Marinade for sale next week not the sauce. I don’t think it will qualify.

    Also, the Kraft BBQ, even if not on sale, there are coupons out there still and 4 of those would be a cheap way to get a $10 gift card… the difficulty will be spending $50 after coupons…..

      You can find next weeks deals on various forum sites on Monday usually. I don’t post the full ads because it can cause way to much confusion as we are still discussing the current ad.

      The Family is it’s Own Reward booklet is at Publix (or was at Publix most are gone now) and the $120 rebate booklet was a promotion run by Procter & Gamble in early February that is over now. The coupons are good all year though.

    I have never rebated before whatsoever so I have a lot of questions.
    1) What has to total $50.00? If we are only buying four items, why do they care how much we spend?
    2) I am not understanding how we can get three rebates per household?
    How many times do I need to spend the $50? Is it $50 per rebate? So if I want three, I have to spend $150?
    3) Is it before or after coupons? I generally never spend that much on groceries even though I know you said that it doesnt have to be in the same trip, I really want three and I dont know how long it will take me to reach $150!!

    Im really really confused any help would be appreciated!

    This rebate is always confusing. It is a shared funding rebate so Kraft puts in money and Publix. Kraft wants you to buy 4 items, Publix wants you to spend $50.

    To get 3 rebates you will need to submit receipts that equal total payments of $150. And you will need to purchase 12 qualifying items.

    You can put on the same rebate form how many you have qualified for so you only need one form.

    Cheapest qualifying item- Jello pudding. There is a q for $1/3 Jello puddings, and right now they are $.99/ea, even at normal price, I think only $1.29 or $1.39.

    Keep in mind, you have to buy 4 DIFFERENT qualifying Kraft items.

    To clarify: E.G.: On one trip I buy 2 qualifying products and spend $10 AFTER Q’s. Next trip I buy 2 more qualifying products and spend $7. I now have the 4 qualifying products but still need to get my total up to $50 AFTER Q’s.

    Continuing my saving trend I only spend $10-30 AFTER Q’s but now my total is up to the required $50, or $150 (and 12 qualifying products, depending on amount of rebate I want). Wala! I circle my qualifying products, print and fill out the form (all by August 9) and send it in.

    In other words, I don’t have to spend $50 worth on the qualifying products. As long as I have the required amount (4 for every $10 rebate) and $50 worth of groceries, I qualify for the rebate.

    Did that make sense, and did I get it correct? Gracias! :)

    To Brandy Post #19… If you read on the rebate form there are size limits and all the products have to be at least 2oz. unfortunately the big boxes of jello that are on sale are only 1.5oz. I checked the ones I got this week. But I was thinking the same thing. But it doesn’t qualify…

    Chantelle, the coupon is in the 6-14 SS but it doesn’t matter as the A-1 Marinade does not qualify. It has to be the steak sauce.

    Okay – just to be difficult – if you wanted to do three rebates. You spend the $150 and get 12 products. Could those 12 products consist 3 each of 4 different items? For example: 4 A-1, 4 Starbucks Coffee, 4 Jell-O Pudding and 4 Barbecue Sauce.

    I usually only read and don’t comment, but I think I have a good way to get the $50 purchase necessary for the rebate. In our local Publix ad there is a $10 off a $50 gas card purchase. Who doesn’t buy gas? If you buy the gas card (only good at Shell & BP) even with coupons it shouldn’t be hard to purchase the remaining items and get the bill up to $50. I looked in the fine detail on the rebate form and no where does it say gift cards are excluded from the $50 purchase. Good luck!

    To Chantelle: I cannot say for sure…..but I think they want to see your total purchases on a Publix receipt. Maybe you can ask at Customer Service at your store. But I think a gift card purchase would qualify toward the $50 necessary for the rebate, as long as you have the four Kraft products. Kraft wants to see the products purchased, Publix wants to see the bottom line $$$$$$ spent at the store.

    My tip: get an envelope and label it Publix/Kraft rebate offer. Keep all your receipts from Publix from 7/13 until 8/09 inside the envelope. Maybe even keep a tally on the outside of the envelope. When you reach $50, $100, or $150, print your form, fill it out, and send it off!

    Just a rebate tip-to get the items at sale prices, try to go to Publix on Tuesday, the last day of their sales, and get rain-checks for some of the kraft items. They are almost always out of at least one flavor of each sale item. Then save the expired coupons too b/c sometimes (it’s up to the manager) they will accept the coupon if it’s just a few days expired, and you can use your raincheck, which will give you the cheap prices during the time of the rebate special.

    my publix ad has a coupon for 50 dollar gas card for 10 off. i have read all info doest say you cant buy gift cards. My dievious plan is to buy 3 gift cards and 12 items which i still have my 50 bucks worth of kraft coupoins from. Going on vacation so just prepaying for gas and the rest is history.

    I haven’t done so yet, but I would call the 866 number on the rebate form to inquire about the $50 total. A few years ago, I did something similar to this to get a gift card from Publix but it was for JCPenny gift cards. The customer service rep at the 866 number told me that I would add my coupon savings to the receipt total for the actual total amount.

    When they say 4 Different qualifying items, can it be 2 different flavors of pudding mix and 2 different flavors of barbeque sauce equalling the 4 items or are they wanting to see 4 distinct different items from the categories listed on the rebate form?

    I emailed Kraft today with some questions and this is how they responded (the * is their response)

    Question: I have a couple of questions regarding the Publix gift card promotion with Kraft products.

    1. To receive the $10 gift card, I understand that you have to purchase 4 different Kraft products. Does that mean it has to be 4 completely different things and not just different flavors? For example, can I buy 4 different flavors of Kraft BBQ sauce or do I have to buy 3 more completely different products besides the BBQ sauce.
    * If there are different flavors, so we consider them 4 different items

    2. Is the Jello pudding that qualifies the boxed kind or the pre-made refrigerated kind?
    * It wasn’t specified so I will accept all Jell-O items

    3. Is the $50 total before or after coupons?
    * After Coupons

    4. Can I purchase gift cards as part of my $50 total?
    * Yes. WOO HOO!!

    I hope this helps everyone. Looks like you can buy lots of different kinds of BBQ sauce and it will count.

    The rebate says that you can receive up to 3 gift cards. Do you have to purchase 4 different items each time? Can I go a repurchase another BBQ sauce, another pizza, etc. to qualify for the rebate 2 additional times? Or do I have to purchase different items the second and third time?

    Hi – Spoke to Kraft about multiple rebates and what kind of purchases that you can make on the subsequent trips. They said that I can buy the exact same 4 (different) items on the 2nd and 3rd trips. (i.e. BBQ sauce flavors, mac and cheese varieties, salad dressing, etc.) That is good for me because I had the same coupons printed and cut out from the last trip! I’m goin for the whole $30 in rebates! Just having to keep a running total of what I’m buying in the store. $50 after coupons is hard — THANKS JENNY!!!!

    Not sure if this has been asked. Do the Kraft items have to be purchased in your $50 transaction? Say I went yesterday and spent $58, but didn’t buy any Kraft products, but go today and buy 4 of the Kraft products. Will that work? They sure don’t explain the rules as detailed as I need!

    Ok now I am really confused! I wish we could all get a straight answer! Publix is saying before coupons and yet Kraft is saying after coupons?? Since Kraft would be sending the rebate do we go with what they say? I guess I will just go up to the store and ask directly so that I can have and name and face if it doesn’t work out as it should!

    One thing that I am still questioning is how the 4 items have to be purchased. I purchased 10 Kraft Mac and Cheese dinners today thinking that I could use all 10 of them, but I now know that I can’t. I got that. Question is: Do all 4 items have to be on the same receipt? Like I bought three different “Cheese flavors” of the mac and cheese today so can I at least use one of each toward my three rebates? Since my daughter loves it and they were only .24 cents a piece I won’t fret too much if I can’t use them. I just want to make sure that when I go back Friday to Publix I buy everything correctly.     AHH Help!!!

    I was all excited today at Publix. I spent $44.42 in total with a savings of $69.85. In this one trip I qualified for the Fuel for School rebate and the Kraft rebate (with an additional Publix receipt I have) but then realized they both require the original receipt.

    Is there anyway to get around this?

    I have had this same thing happen to me recently. I bought Pediasure and have a rebate for that, while I was buying for the Kraft Rebate. I went back into Publix with my receipt and they were able to print me another of the same receipt. Call your store to make sure before you make a special trip, but you should be able to do this! HTH!

    I know it says at the top that the 4 Kraft items don’t have to be on the same receipt, but then I see posts that say it does. Jenny can you please clarify this. I am going Monday to Publix to get the rest of the Kraft items, but I already have some on a separate receipt. I am doing all three of the rebates and have purchased 3 of the same item on one receipt and I’m hoping that one of each of those can go along with my other receipt for the other items I need. I don’t mind buying more, b/c we use just about all of the Kraft items on this list, but I don’t want to do it if it wasn’t necessary. Please help!!!

    I just went to Publix today and bought items for both the Kellogg’s Fuel for School rebate and the Kraft rebate. I just went to get the forms and get everything together to send them in, and I just realized that you have to send in receipts for both rebates. My problem is that I have items for both rebates on one receipt… Does the Kraft rebate require an original receipt??? I know that the Kellogg’s rebate does require the original. I worked so hard to try to get deals and get everything just right, and now I’m worried I won’t be able to get one of my Kraft rebates! Please tell me they will take a copy!

    I spoke on the phone with Kraft regarding the rebate and the 4 different items can be on different receipts totaling $50 (after coupons). However, at least ONE qualifying Kraft item must be on each receipt.

    I have 3 receipts. 2 $50 purchases and 1 with the $50 and 12 items. I am going to send it and hope it works. IMO, if there are certain rules such as the 1 per $50 receipt, it should have been on the rebate form in bold print. I should not have to call to get all the main details….they should be clearly stated. So aggrivating….hope it works.
