In the last year many inserts have dropped from papers around the country.  So your area might never get the Smart Source or the Redplum inserts.  I can’t help you with Smart Source, but if you don’t get Redplum in your newspaper you do have a solution!!

You can receive your Red Plum insert in the mail!

Fill out the contact info and select Add to List.  This should take 5 to 6 weeks to go into effect.

(This is only for areas that do not have Redplum inserts in their newspaper.)

      TY!!

I used to live in an apartment in Utah where the get their RPs in the mail. Everyday it was delivered the trashcan by the mailboxes was filled with RP coupon inserts. So, if you live in one of these areas, you might want to check out a local apartment complex on delivery day.

    • Rachel

Thank You I was wondering how I could get on the mailing list! :)

    • Donna

Ooh, that's AWESOME!!! We get the RedPlum most times, but seems like only half the coupons, so maybe the ones in the mail will be the full version. I signed up! Thank you!

      • Laura

        Same here!

    • lunchlady123

The link took me to the Valassis website….but I still got to sign up!

    • Guest

Actually you would only need to sign up if your not getting in the mail already or you moved. Many people who get there Redplum in mail also get P&G in the mail. Valassis is Redplum by the way.

    • Isabela50

This is great for me because I can't even get a paper delivered to my address!!

      • Guest

They will only deliver if the paper in your area does not have Redplum. Redplum does not send mail everywhere.

        • Thanks I was just about to see if I could get extras this way but I guess not. It's good to know though!

    • This is great! I am actually having the opposite experience with lots of inserts, it seems that there not as many couponers in these parts of Kentucky. I'm guessing so because I am still able to get the hottest Rite Aid deals on Sunday afternoons, usually these are gone in areas where there are more couponers. I'm giving away 15 whole smartsource inserts from this weekend's paper if anyone is interested.

      • Chandra

I would LOVE to have last weeks inserts…my area was sold out of papers sunday afternoon. my email is theguestfamily@yahoo.com
        Thanks so much!

      • Donna

Do you get all of them in ONE newspaper? I’d be interested to get a few. Was this last week or coming week?

        Thanks so much! love2read22@gmail.com

      • Ema6763

I would be interested in your inserts

      • jessc5

I would love to have some, if you have any left!

      • Chandra

I would love to have some if possible! My town was out of papers Sunday afternoon!

      • Micheledavidson

        i would like some please.

      • Syndilew

I would love an insert. Our paper is not so good down in Southern Georgia.

      • Sonya_caldwell

I have a great paper guy. He takes the coupon inserts from his papers that doesn't sell in his boxes in town and rolls them up and puts them in my box with my paper!! But he gets a great Christmas bonus, too!! He helps me, I help him!

      • Michelle

Hi, I would love some of these inserts if you have any left. How generous of you to offer these.

      • Frugal4eva

I would love any extras if they are not already all taken! Thanks!

    • Guest

I signed up over two months ago and still haven't seen anything. (Our local paper doesn't carry Red Plum either.) I don't think Red Plum mails to everyone who signs up.

      • Sarah

I signed up too and haven't gotten anything.

    • guest

i dont remember ever signing up for this but I always get the following sunday coupon inserts around weds in the mail. I get them for redplum, P&G and smartsource.

    • CVS Lady

We get one in our Sunday paper (Columbia, SC) AND 2 weeks ago started getting one on Wednesday in the mailbox. It comes along with all the fast food coupons (Arby's, Captain D's, etc). I'm not sure why we get it, but two RP's in one week is awesome!

      • Jl

Because Redplum and PG are starting not to be in papers. As they can mail them cheaper than putting them in the paper.

      • Hopeful

Wowza, you lucky dog! My friend gets them in the middle of the week and then in Sunday's paper as well. We both live in the same city and only a few miles apart. Oh, that some sweet coupons would magically appear in my mailbox on Wednesdays! ;)

    • Sweet2th94

Thanks for this post!! We live in rural MS, and don't get many coupon inserts, and some stores won't accept computer generated coupons.
Thanks for all your dedication to Southern Savers!

    • Monica

Thank you so much! We don't always get all the coupons we are supposed to in our Greenwood paper.

    • Meglee

Before I sign up, is there a fee for this?

      • karen

        nop :)

    • Rachel

I HOPE HOPE HOPE this works!

    • Jennifer G.

Thank you for posting this! Any and all help saving money is greatly appreciated in our house!

    • Sonyaprice2

Hey, Where should I file the weekday inserts ? I get them already and since the system goes by the Sunday paper I'm not sure what to do with them

      • Sharwinberry

I have been getting them via mail for quite a while and they are usually the ones that Jenny posts the Sunday before.

      • Countryboyhays

The date is printed on the binding of the front/back page.

    • Hannity

Yes Meglee they charge you for being a dumb ass

    • Karen

If you need inserts, I offer them for a handling fee of .35 each complete and uncut. I also have Publix coupons. If you’d like to be on my mailing list just send me an e-mail KarMoral9@aol.com Paypal, money order or well-concealed cash accepted. Shipping is fast, from Florida. Thanks.

      • Laurascouponssave

    • Soft2c45

      thanks this is great

    • We started getting Smartsource in our weekly town newspaper…which reminds me I threw it away this week! It's an extra copy for free!

    • Cinderella9202003

you can go to smart source.com and get the coupons for free

    • SDlifer10

I live in Southern California. Red Plum started mailing their coupons last year. Unfortunately, this meant they would no longer be in our newspaper, which is such a bummer if there was a really good coupon I need multiples of :(

      • Couponsol

hi! I also live in California (in the north) I also receive red plum in the mail. you mean they are going to cancel Red Plum insert on sunday papaers?!?!?!?!?!? How did you know?!

    • Bigredsue

I have spoken to the Corporate office at Red Plum and I actually have bad news. If you currently do not recieve the red plum coupons in the mail, you still will not get them, Even if you fill out the contact information. What I was told, was advertising is selective even down to the neighborhood. My mother lives less then a mile from me in a different neighborhood and gets them in the mail but I do not. I asked all the questions and I even asked it I could pay for them and have them sent to my home…and was still told there is no way for my to get them. I spoke to Dave the Director of Direct Mail Advertising.

      • wolverinehokie

I actually wondered about this because I tried signing up for them where I used to live in Florida and never received any. I have since moved to Toledo and receive them. I don't know if the previous owners signed up or if they were just in the right area or something but it's nice getting the extra inserts.

    • Couponj

      Tampa/St. Pete Clearwater folks…
I spoke to the St. Petersburg times today because I wanted some extra coupons this week… headed to Publix and bought a double stack paper (2 papers for $1.25) got home and there were no coupon inserts! I called the store and the manager told me this has been happening a lot and the paper won't do anything to change it. He agreed it was very misleading since the front cover says X dollars in savings. They said they will refund my money. LOVE PUBLIX… anyway… the St. Pete times said that they only get a limited number by zip code from the coupon companies. Subscribers get the first priority and then stores get what ever is left over. In some cases inserts are intentionally left out by zip code. They said you can call on Sunday morning, provide a zip code and they can tell you what inserts should be in the papers at the stores. CRAZY HU!!!!

      • Lakeland Kim

Well, THAT explains a lot! I'm in Lakeland; Ledger is owned by the Times, and some weeks I have a very hard time finding a store that has inserts in their papers. Thanks for the info.

      • Mamaberry

Yeah, I learned this by default last year. Bummer….I agree. So now I have two delivered to my house at about $.60 per issue. (ask if they have an introductory rate available if you get two delivered) Then, if it's a week with no inserts, I have them skip that week as a vacation week.

Sorry you had to learn this lesson the same way I did!!!

      • Ambulancegirl

Type your comment here.I bought 2 papers a couple of weeks ago and they did not have the coupons in them either. I live in Tennessee.

    • Mamaberry

I get a RedPlum insert in the mail, but it's an advertisement version. No coupons. Just companies trying to sell you. Carpeting, pizza…never coupons. Didn't realize everyone was getting the inserts actually mailed to their home!! How have I missed this the last two years!!
Thanks for the tip. Hope this works for me too!!

    • Ibre01

My husband and i seem to be getting the same inserts in our paper on sunday for about 3 weeks in a row and then we wont get an inser for a week or two. its ok cause at least we can double up and what most stores wont tell you is you can use there store coupon and the manufactors coupon on the same item in the same purchase. You can also use a buy 1 get 1 coupon and use an additional coupon on the item your not getting free.
