Rite Aid Logo

Here is the Rite Aid Weekly Ad starting 5/1. This is a better week for deals than we’ve seen at Rite Aid in a while. They are putting more limits in the ad, but most of them are 4 this week and that’s reasonable to me!

My favorite deal this week is the $12 rebate in lieu of the Allure magazine. Be sure to grab a couple Sunday papers before you head to the store!

If you see any other deals please leave them in a comment below.

So what does the fine print at the bottom of the Allure rebate say?

      • RebeccaFer

You can read it if you click on the link. I read it when she first posted and it did say you needed to print the form and send it in by snail mail to request your rebate. *If you would like to increase the size of the type on the web page, hold down the Control button and then use your rollerball (if you have one on your mouse) to make the size larger. I'm sorry I don't know how to do it without the roller on a mouse. It can be done, I just don't know how. HTHs! :D

    • Chickflick1b

Rite aid is my favorite place to shop when using my coupons, every store in my area is nice, never fusses about my coupons! Unlike Walgreens!

    • TmeAdeBwe

where do you get the because of you pg home mailer?

      • Jo R

You have to sign up for it om the p&g website.

    • Nichols_again

why would you need a Degree coupon on a Dove product. Please check scenario 1

      • Chassy

i was confused about that also but I have seen another scenario. ???

        • Chassy

I meant I have seen the same thing in another scenario

      • amanda

probably just an honest mistake. there is also a .99 coupon on the dove. that is the one you need.

    • Lizk

I've lost interest in Rite Aid because of all the local couponing competition. I choose church Sunday morning over fighting someone for a good deal on shampoo. Wish the add started on another day.

      • KelliS

Ask your store manager what day they get their trucks & shop on that day (most of North-metro Atlanta is every other Friday). Also, always ask for rain checks. If possible, try another store. I no longer shop at the Buford Rite Aid. They always acted like my rainchecks & coupons were a hassle or a scam. The Rite Aid in Alpharetta, however, is fabulous. The store manager expects me every Friday!

        • Anonymus

Everything is nicer in Alpharetta! I miss GA!

        • germangirl

Are you talking about the one on Hamilton Mill Parkway? I love them, they are always so friendly to me. Except a couple of the new guys. They do act like it's a hassle.

      • I don't heart greedy people

Have you tried getting to the store a few minutes before they open? As soon as the doors open, go directly to the items you want the most. Grab what you need…worry about the cart/shopping basket later. I hate greedy people too. I went to a flea market when visiting my family in San Francisco, and there were tons of people selling drug store items-toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc…stuff you KNOW they got for free at drug stores. It was pathetic. No one was buying any of it. The stuff was sitting out in the hot sun, wasting away. Some needy family could have used that stuff. I'm glad RA is imposing limits. It's about time. Pretty soon, they will make everything a limit of one like CVS generally does.

        • Frisbeebear

I am glad they limit things too! I WISH everybody did!!!!!! I think 4 is a very reasonable amount. I always wondered where flea market people got that stuff, well now I know!

        • My single mother raised us selling HBA things at flea markets and she certainly did not get it from drug stores.

When a pallet is damaged, even just one box, the store refuses the entire thing and then the mcf re-sells the pallets as damaged. My mother would buy those and then resell them.

        • April

I went to Publix today and the only Bic razors left were the Soleil type. All the men's razors were wiped out and a cashier said that some woman had come in earlier and bought the last 10 using $3 coupons for all of them. It infuriated me! I'm sure if I go to the jockey lot tomorrow, I'll be able to buy them for $3 a pack…or maybe that woman looks like cousin It and needed 30 razors? LOL
I had 4 coupons with me, which would have given me one coupon per pack (one of which was only $2 off, not $3! Gasp!).

    • Joan

Note: My 14 yr old son hear me talking about PowerAde Zero and said it was terrible and tasted like flavored water. So, there you go, for what it's worth. One piece of paper SAVED! :)

      • Leslie

I LOVE Powerade Zero! I like to keep a few on hand for when I feel dehydrated or have a fever….or after I mow the lawn. I do prefer the grape and fruit punch flavors.

        • Fallaya

I'm looking forward to trying them. I'll try the grape and fruit punch like you suggested.

      • Rlynn103

My children didn't like them either!

      • April

My first choice would be Propel Zero, but Powerade Zero is great, too. I think it's best when you've been working out or doing something active and haven't eaten in awhile. It doesn't taste as great if you've been eating or just drinking it “because”. It's when you're really hot, tired and thirsty when it's at its best! LOL

    • Treadwayal

What exactly does it mean SCR #34 or any other SCR ??

      • Sarah

single check rebate…the number corresponds to which rebate it is on the website (where you enter information to get the rebate). it's numbered to make it easier to find them. you can check out the rite aid information link for more info

    • Chassy

      SCR single check rebate

    • Not a Rite Aid fan myself.

      • Julie

But clearly have a lot of time on your hands…visiting the Rite Aid page and all… LOL

    • Yelik01

does anybody have a good zip code for the profoot coupon? i have tried a couple and its not working, it says there is not any coupons available at this time.

      • jenny

i just printed one. try 30060

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

If you can't print them, look for the products with peelies! I think everything we have for the sale has a $1 peelie attached.

    • Becky

I don't see the right guard store coupon…is it not available anymore?

    • Tnhchemical

Does RiteAid still offer watch 20 video clips on their website and get $5 off $25 purchase coupon?

      • Kratie00

I haven't seen that one for several months. They are trying something different where you get like $3 off $15 but at least one of the products has to be one listed on the coupon.

      • ChrissyPunkin

Actually, the $3 off $15 is a coupon for completing a survey; you can use them on anything. Look on your receipt–if you get one, you'll know. I haven't seen a $5 off $25 in months. I prefer the $3 off $15 anyway. :-)

      • RebeccaFer

        Sadly, no. :(

      • Stephen Voss

On my wellness card account page it has a $5 off $25 coupon good for the month of May. I just recently got the card so maybe it’s a new member benefit?

    • A helping hand

Hello Everyone, for those who live in the south that were effected by the horrible torandos now is a great time to think of some you have bulk of and donate to shelters there!!! My daughters school in Woodstock GA is doing it and I am very grateful for Jenny and this site because I have put together a HUGE box to donate with shampos toothepaste toothbrushs deoderants and much more!! So please lets help out our fellow Americans recover from these devasting storms! Thank You for taking the time to read this….God Bless

    • Kristina

i read the fine rint for the Allure deal but dont see anything where it states a $12 rebate. how do i get the rebate instead of the magazines?

      • Kratie00

It's in the second paragraph, toward the bottom. It says you can choose to receive a refund instead of a subscription but you need to mail in the receipt and completed form, etc…

    • Sarah

question: if you have those $3 off $15 rite aid coupons..how do you use them? Is that $15 BEFORE you use coupons, and you just have to give that coupon first before any manufacturer ones? So if I wanted to buy 3 items that cost 5 dollars each (for example) but then had 3 manufacturer coupons for the products, would I have to also buy a filler item since that's considered 4 items. and also make sure the total price at the end isn't negative

      • Sarah

meant to say considered 4 coupons for 3 products

        • Sarah

also, is it $15 dollars before or after you use your rite aid card

          • Mel

You have to give them your Wellness card first–otherwise your UP rewards won't print and you won't get the discounted prices. So the $15 would be after the wellness card (and discounts related to it) but before any other coupons.

      • Mel

Yes… the $15 is before coupons and yes… give them that one first. Then hand them your other coupons. There's no need for a filler unless you're going to get a negative balance with your other coupons. It's not like Walgreens where you have to have one item per coupon. Happy shopping!

    • TmeAdeBwe

what is the because of you pg home mailer?

    • Ashley

on the tips page it says up rewards can't be used on things like stamps, milk, etc. what if you bought those items along with other items you had coupons for though? how can the computer tell the difference? not trying to go around the system but i dont want to waste my rewards money on accident. made me think of this because a lot of people will say, “use your rewards on things you need to buy anyways, like milk” but almost all the pharmacy stores say you cant use them on milk

      • ChrissyPunkin

I use +ups on milk all the time. Stamps, tobacco, alcohol, gift cards, and prescriptions would be excluded.

        • Amy

The ability to use +UPs is regulated by state law. There is no regulation in my state, so I buy my milk with +UPs. If I drive 10mins across the border, it's a no-no.

    • cahugh4

Are the Glade Premium Room Sprays the same as a Glade aerosol? I have $1/1 Qs for these. If it works, they would be free!

    • erika

how can you use 3 coupons for the profoot deal if the internet only lets you print off 2?

      • I have 2 lap tops, and my desktop. My desktop has 2 hard drives on it, one with Windows 7, and the other with Windows XP. When I boot the desktop, it asks me which operating system I want to use. Each Operating System lets me print 2, so I can print 8 of each printable.

I normally do not, though unless it's something I really, really need.

        • Raj

tech savvy – tech savvy !!

      • Lafaye247

I can print 2 using Internet Explorer and 2 using Mozilla Firefox.

        • Lafaye247

I hit post before i was finished….for some things I can do that…for others, I can't. But I usually try it if it's something i really want a coupon for :)

      • Couponhunter215

My store actually had $1 coupons stuck to the products… so keep your eye out! Coupons were on the heel cream and flex-tastics

    • Dadams420

How does the b1g1 at RA work? Will one be taken off at register or they they both go in as half price on both? I am wondering if there is a b1g1 can i use 2 q's or just 1?
      Thanks Cindy GreenwoodSC

      • Lzbacnik

At RA you can use 2 coupons. Use the b1g1 which will take off one product at the register. If you have another coupon say for $ 1.00 off you can apply that to the item that wasn't free. My suggestion is to go to the top of this page and click on the Rite Aid links coupon policy and it will help you

        • Amy

There is a memo that was sent out and it is now not int here policy. They do not get reimbursed for the coupons as the B1G1 requirements require buying 2. Most of my stores will show me the memo if I do it. So I stopped.

          • Paige_Aminehdestin

Oh, did they get around to actually sending that out now? Our DM told us this a couple of months ago and people are getting so angry when we won't take the second coupon. While I hate that people are going to have to get adjusted to not using a B1G1 coupon and a $ off coupon on the same 2 items, it's better in the long run if the stores get paid back for all of the coupons submitted, and much better for my poor store which seems to get this info months before the rest of the company making us the bad guys! lol.

          • Raj

I think it is okay if the 2nd coupon is a Rite Aid coupon ? Else, I didn't even know one could use a 2nd manuf. coupon for 2 items.

if one buys 2 items, 2 $1 MC are okay.
if one buys 2 items, 1 B1G1 MC is okay.
however if one buys 2 items, one cannot use 1B1G1 AND 1 $MC

      • Sarah

yes, although i'm still confused about this. i know they take one off at the register if it's b1g1. if they only have one item left of that product, they will make that one item be 50% off. however, i dont understand how you can use two coupons with b1g1 if the item has been taken off…meaning its showing you're only buying 1….

      • kristenk

When items are featured on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the item being purchased.

The above is from their coupon policy… I have done it recently, I didn't know about the memo… maybe some stores are still allowing it? The best thing to do is maybe call before you go and ask!

    • Betseth

Where can I find the allure magazine to get the rebate?

    • Heather Y

I messed up! I got 4 free Crest toothpaste and then got 4 Oral B… but there was a limit of 4 that I forgot to write down… ended up paying $6 extra. At least I will not make that mistake again… :)

      Happy Couponing everyone!

    • gezzuzz

venus refills cost $14.99.. prices are waaaaay off

      • Jesstopher

The prices must vary by market. My Rite Aid had them for $11.99

      • stacey

the Venus embrace ones are that price. but the regular 4 count are 9.99. I dont know if your store has them

    • Brittanyh85

please someone explain how you end up with $24 in rebates at the end of the scenarios I only see $12 and I have been trying to figure it out….HELP!!!

      • CCShad

She has a few SCRs – single check rebate -from Riteaid in there. Revlon ($2) and Profoot ($10)

        • CCShad

the other $12 is from the magazine rebate

Does anyone know of a 2 month long Gillette +UP reward? I just used a raincheck for Gillette body wash, bought 4 bottles, and got 2 $2+UPs. They keyed in the price as 99 cents to make up for the ups from the raincheck, but I don't see where this new one is in the ad. The +UP says “OS/Gillette body wash between 3/25 – 5/28”. Just curious if I should be gettting 4 $2 +UPs instead of just 2 (or is that being greedy???).

      • Raj

I think 1 Up kicked in if you bought 2 … I guess I didn't follow, did you receive Ups after the cashier sold you the product for 99 cents ?

        • PaulaB

yes, the +UPs printed on my receipt. The original sale was $2 +UP for each bottle at 2.99. So she rang them up at 99 cents. Then I got 2- $2+UP after for buying the 4 bottles.

          • Cargrease79

This is a 1-2 month long deal. Limit 2 +ups, so you wouldn't have gotten 4. I got it by buying the Old Spice body wash a couple of weeks ago.

    • Angie

The coupon for the $1.00 off 2 on Coca Cola or Dansani is expired….I printed off 2 to realize that it expired on 4-30-11…..

      • Rockel51

Just did the same thing :(

      • Raj

youc an call Coke a Cola … they should re-activate it / extend deadline.

    • Kerry72nc

In my RP 3/13 there is a $1/1 Pup-Peroni dog snacks 4.8 oz or larger EXP 5/8. I believe this is the smaller normal bag. With three dogs in the household I will be stocking up on these for .99 after $1 UP :)

    • Brandy

Question about this: $2 RR WYB (2) Head & Shoulders Shampoo or Conditioner.

I have (2) BOGO coupons for Head & Shoulders. To get the reward above, would I need to use both coupons, for a total of 4 bottles, 2 of which would be free and 2 of which I would pay for?

      • Debko

        I think you're referring to a Walgrens deal :-)

    • CCShad

The Olay and Venus cartridge scenario does not work for me, b/c the $2 off Venus coupon in today's P&G is not for cartridges. It is $2 off a razor.

      • Coupongal18

You can still do it……I used that coupon and actually got the razors and used the$ 2.00 off of the razors and I used the two$ 5.00 off of both and it worked beautifully!!!!! HTH!!!!

        • Lynnd36

does anyone know why rite aid will not let you use more than one manufacturer coupon ???

          • Kathy

Do you mean on one item…or in one transaction??

            • Lynnd36

i had two coupons for the nivea lotion but they would only let me use one cause they were both manufacturer coupons. :(

            • How many lotions did you buy??

            • Lynnd36

              just one

            • Sheila

You can only use up to 1 mfr coupon and 1 store coupon per item. If you only bought one lotion, you can only use 1 mfr coupon.

        • stacey

Did you get the code for the magazine?

    • Fallaya

    • Smurfygrl1979

Is it possible for a PG ad to be different in different areas? Mine only has (2) $1.50 off Pampers…no $2.50. ;(

    • Amy

Does anyone know what zip code to use to get the Butterfinger Snackerz coupon? It didn’t show up for me on coupons.com.
Also, the profoot coupon said No prints available for this campaign. :(

    • Sara

For the Allure rebate-where am i looking for that? is it in the SCR flyer? Cuz i'm having a hard time locating in- please help :)

      • Sara

ok, was just really slow for a little bit, i took a second look :)

    • guest

In reply to Sara, the Allure rebate is at top this page, just click on where Jenny has listed, will take you right to it —not in the Rite-aid rebate booklet.

      • Sara

thanks! was really slow on the up take there for a bit!

    • Coupongal18

Needs help with Allure rebate…..I see it on my receipt but it says nothing about a$ 12 rebate option which is what I want!!!! HELP!!!!!

      • Sara

go to allure.com/go/riteaid you should have a redemption code on your receipt.-hope that helps

    • Ebtbmom

At my Rite Aid the Pupperoni was ringing up at 3.99 plus 1$ UP rather than the 2.99, has anyone else had this problem? I was speaking with the store manager and even thought I was pointing to the 2.99 plus 1$ UP in the printed ad she kept saying that she couldn't change it because it was in the system like that. I'm pretty frustrated about it.

    • Najenkins58

Ok I am very new to coupons…. at least in the manner you folks on here use them. I was happy just getting the discounts with coupons… but like it a bunch better your way… that being said… I thought I was doing so great this morning with what I had seen on this site last night to make shopping better this week… but then this morning I got an email from Riteaid … and they showed this wonderful deal for biotene mouthwash for dry mouth which I have due to an autoimmune disease so I thought I would try what I learned… Boy want a big disappointment!!!!!! Not anyone fault from here …just me… I seen an email from Riteaid this morning… it showed the weekly flyer that they had biotene mouthwash on sale for $5.99 which is usually $8.99 so that was a deal… but it also said it had a $5 +up too and all I had to do was buy 3 bottles. Plus I had a coupon for 2/$5 off…from riteaid and coupon 1/$2 from riteaid… plus also had coupon for $1. off of whole purchase…WHAT A DEAL… 3 bottles normally cost $27. and today to get them for total of $6.00…… Now I went trucking to the store.. to get my bubble POPPED!!!! First they only had 2 bottles.. then it wasn't on sale…so I just turned around and out the door I went… nothing in hand ERRRR… that is not fair… I had not even opened the Sunday paper yet because we went to town to see the grand children… I guess I will double look from now on.. but do have question for all you that have been doing this for a while…could the picture of that flyer be next's week flyer…. should I hold on to my coupons for a bit longer??? thanks for letting me vent…. and for any help you can give me.

      • kristi

It is on sale, They probably didn't have tags hung up yet for the items. Print out your email and take it along with you..Just in case :)

        • Dianne L

I would also call and ask if they had three in stock or when their truck comes with more. Ask them to hold them for you.

        • Najenkins58

Thanks for the reply… but it isn't on sale so I was told by the register person. She scanned the bottle. She said it was $8.99. But I will be in town this week again so I will take the email with me and see how it goes. Will call to see when they get their new shipment in. Thanks Kristi and Dianne.

      • Sarah

maybe call other stores in the area to see if they have some. rain checks wont help with register rewards, they only will give you the sale price for a later date. but if the sale price is good enough then maybe you can go ahead and do that. my rite aid only delivers once every 2 weeks! wow. also remember that receipts usually have $3 off $15 purchase

        • Sarah

oh yea, if you take the ad in, they should take that price

        • Najenkins58

UPDATE!!!!! I went to another store with my email and coupons in hand and did get the items on sale but they too told me that these items were not on sale this week nor next week…But the $5.00 +up reward was not printed on my receipt but she did write it on there for me… but for the items not being on sale… my receipt did print at the bottom of it…. this..for the $15 Aquafresh Sensodyne Polident/Poligrip Biotene (all listed in my email) my total was $17.96. So that is telling me the email I received was right… these things were on sale…. thanks to you folks for helping me I stood my ground and fought back.. because this sale for me was way too good to pass up!!!!! Also I received two $3.00 coupons for internet surveys!!!! Thanks again all!!!!!

          • Kratie00

I wonder if it was a RiteAid.com deal and not an in store deal?

        • Also keep in mind when leaving the store, people leave their receipts in the cart or ground all the time! I pick them up and fill out the surveys, and I’ve even found UP’s on discarded receipts.

    • Bekah

How do I get the PG “Have you tried this” and “Because of you” home mailers?

    • Annjand

What is up with the Allure rebate?????
I purchased over $25 worth of cover girl & pantene to do the Allure rebate, but no code printed on my receipt. In fact, it said I only spent $12.39 toward the Allure rebate, which was my after-coupon total. I was planning to get the $12 rebate, but there is nothing in the fine print that says it has to be $25 before coupons. If I mail it in with my receipt which clearly shows over $25 worth of products before coupons, will I get the rebate? Should I cut off the bottom section that says “Magazine offer total $12.39”?

      • Librarylady

I had the same problem with my Allure rebate purchase. My subtotal was $25.21 before the sales tax was added. I purchased two Venus cartridges and 2 Olay 2 oz. moisture creams. The bottom section of my receipt says “Magazine offer total $16.71.” This means $8.50 of my purchase didn't count towards the Allure rebate offer. I questioned the cashier and the store manager about this and neither could explain why this happened. They thought it may have occurred because I used coupons–$14.00 total (two $5.00 off Olay with purchase of Venus cartridges and two of the $2.00 off Venus products). I also used a $4.00 Up+ reward. The manager could not override it to make the system give me the $25.21 credit toward the Allure offer.

        • Veilman2773

Same issue up here at my RA in MD. First off the BOGO 50% off didn't work on my olay body wash and lotion. With that my total PG purchases toward the Allure rebate should have been 29.21. My total toward the offer came out to be $22.21 on the receipt. I can only guess that the coupons I used lowered it by $7. Oddly I used $8.50 in coupons on those products. That is bad advertising.

        • Cgaul2

that should not have mattered. I used the same coupons and got the deal. I had to purchase a cover girl eye shadow because I was .45 short of the $25.

    • Autball

So frustrated! I bought multiple papers just for this ad only to find out that NONE of them had a P&G insert (Myrtle Beach). I used to buy the Charlotte paper, but my one reliable spot to get it stopped carrying it! Every other spot that sells it it either sells out before I can get there or are no longer stocked!
Has anyone else had this problem with getting an out of town paper? My local paper never has any of the good coupons! HELP!

      • Shellypsu1

Hi Autball, I live in Conway SC and I ran in to the Kmart this morning – and went through 4 seperate papers of the Sun News and all 4 were missing the P&G! One of the papers had triplicate Smart Savers though! I put all 4 back and then went to Walmart and I got the all of the inserts (but no Pepsico of course). I just think someone is greedy or they had a foul up at the paper shop? You can take your papers back to where you bought 'em and grab them else where. I would.
        Good luck!

      • Ttsousafamily

Hi, I'm also from Myrtle Beach and have the same problem. This past Sunday I went to the book store at Grand Coastal Mall. They had 5 copies, so I bought 2 and my friend bought 2. I'm wondering if they would order more.

    • Chrstyamyrs

Anyone know how many diapers come in the Pampers big pack that they have on sale? Little man is starting to run low and I'm comparing the not so awesome diaper sales this week. lol

    • Jo R

FYI- in the Atl area the butterfingers snackers aren't on sale- the regular bars are. Snackers are .99 – no free candy for me! Not that I need it!

    • Coupongal18

FYI and a heads up – The Allure deal is great -I orginally got it because I use the Olay and Venus products so I wanted those PLUS the 12 buck rebate…I didn't want the Allure subscription….but, when you go to do it – if you want the money back – you have to mail in it with copies of the receipt and all that – if you want to do that for $12, then go for it but I personally thought it wasn't worth it so I just got the magazine ….which is awesome because it doesn't automatically renew and doesnt ask for billing information, which I love!!!!!

    • Coupongal18

Had a pretty good trip to Rite Aid today – I had to spend a little more OOP because my store was a little higher in prices on the Venus and Olay than Jenny's..but, overall – still a pretty good trip!

      Here's what I got:
      (2) Venus Razors – with batteries
      (2) Olay UV Moisturizers
      (2) Crest Pro Health Toothpaste
      (2) Oral B Toothbrushes
      (4) Dawn Plus Soaps

      Total before anything: $51.95
      Total after coupons and a $10 UP – $16.43
Got back : $8 UP rewards so for everything, I spent $8.43 – which is awesome!!!!

      Coupons I used:
      (2) -$5.00 WYB Olay and Venus
      (2) -$2.00 Venus Razors – the one with regular razors worked with the $5.00 coupon so you can make it work!!!
      (4) -$0.50 Dawn Plus
      (2) -$1.50 Crest Pro Health
      (2) -$1.50 Oral B Toothpaste
      -$10 UP reward

      • lovecoupons

How much did you pay for the toothbrushes? They are 4.99 in circular, which makes them $$1.50 after the coupon, but in Jenny's scenario they end up being free. I can't figure it out. Thanks

        • Coupongal18

They were 2.99 in my store – they did have 4.99 ones but they were different and so I was able to oget them for free!! Every store is different though depending on the area you live in……

      • rcotter

are you allowed to use coupons for the venus and olay 2 of them in the same transaction?

    • Yuliyaporter

      Hi Ladies,
I am getting ready for my trip to RA tomorrow. Jenny is listing the price for Oral B toothbrush as $2.99 with $2 UPs, so according to her, it's free after the PG $1.50 q. So, I am looking at the paper though and see that Rite Aid is listing that same TBrush for the price of $4.99 with the $2 UPs which makes it $1.50 after the coupon. Anyway, what is it??? TIA

      • Ilovewdw

remember the ad is for Atlanta….so if you don't live there sometimes there are differences between cities.

      • laura

I believe there was one for $4.99 and $2.99 the coupon works for 3 different kinds, the advantage, and pulsar and one other. I found the advantage for $2.99 and got 2 and 4 UPS rewards and I'm from Summerville. HTH!

        • Yuliyaporter

Thanks, I did find the right ones, though that deal was not in the circular! Thanks for the responses, Ladies

      • Aocmand

there are oral b toothbrushes that are on clearance for 2.99 that still produces the $2.00 +up… check the clearance endcaps :)

    • Bkny63

The $25 Allure deal is AFTER coupons? I see where people used coupons and it deducted from their $25 total towards the deal.

      • Annjand

There is nothing in the fine print that mentions coupons at all, but that is what happened to me. My total before q's was over $25, but after q's it said all I earned toward the deal was about $12. Not fair, since RA gets reimbursed separately for the q's…they don't impact the rebate deal for them. If I had known this was the case, I would not have tried to do it.

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

That's odd. My first customer yesterday did the deal, and before coupons it was over $25 but after coupons was only about $11 and it said she'd met the requirements and gave her a code to do it. Make sure you bought all items that were included in the deal, and if you did, call and ask about it. Call CS because they probably won't know in store. Good luck.

          • Annjand

I did check that…I only purchased Cover Girl makeup (all CG cosmetics were included) and 2 Pantene shampoos (also all included). So I suppose I will need to call CS. Thanks for the suggestion.

        • Khjbcoupns

simply load up you goods and take them back for a refund… i got burned when krogers had a mega event with the $5.00 off when you buy 10 participating items one week and then the next week it was just a mega event.. 10 for $10.00 with no $5 back… when i realized that i didnt get the $5 off at the end i took 5 sets of the 10 for $10 back into the store for a refund .. it felt so good…..

    • jobo

Please help! :):) I saw in the Rite Aid flyer that their old spice body wash is on sale for buy 1 get one 50% off. Then, I have a coupon out of the paper for a BOGO free. How do those 2 deals combine? I saw on another site that someone had figured out that with that combo I would pay $3 for 2 bottles but I can't figure out mathematically how she got that. I wanted to make sure it was that price before I go buy some… thanks for the help!!!

      • aclarkcoupons

        Hi!

If you have figured this out, could you let me know. I'm wondering the same thing! THANKS!

        • AmyJ

You would get the half priced item for free. The coupon stated equal or lesser value. So the cheaper item is free.

          • my RA allows you to buy yours with the free coupon so you would get the other for half off.

      • At my store, Old Spice Body Wash is 4.99, so the second item comes down to 2.49. Using my B1G1coupon it will probably apply to the lesser value (never know until it scans) making it 2/4.99. I also have a coupon for $1 off from my P&G $110 reward book making it 3.99 for two. I hear wind that its an unadvertised deal as well printing out $2 UPs per item (but don't quote me on that) making this deal free if that's true.

EDIT: Just make sure to do a filler item if you plan on using UPs to pay for this like I will be!

    • Robin

I have a question about the scenarios listed. If you go up to the cashier and ask her for 3 separate transactions, will she give them to you? At Right Aid and CVS? I don't want to be giving the evil eye!!

      • I've never had issue, but I try to go early in the morning or I go to the pharmacy pr HBA check out, so I don't get a lot of people behind me waiting.

      • Leejam7

i do it all the time i buy one thing and then use the rebate to buy the next thing. I have done as may as 5 transactions. i just dont go around lunch time and if there r people there i let them in front of me cause i might take a min.

      • Amy

I just tried to at Rite Aid, and the cashier said no, it's against store policy. She even went as far as to say I'd have to leave the store and come back to use my rewards! She said I had to buy everything at once. I don't know why some try to make it difficult. It was evening, around 7:00pm and the store was not crowded.

      • Nita Royal

My store will gladly do it, but I never ask if there are people in line behind me. If someone gets in line during one transaction, I just move out of the way until I'm the only one left. That way, no one gets annoyed! Once in a while, though, people will say, “No, stay in line – I want to see how this works!” Another way to convert someone to couponing, and pitch the store program. ;-)

    • Allegra deal is not free. The 10.99 price is for 5 ct, but the $5 coupon excludes 5 ct.

      • ChrissyPunkin

What Allegra deal do you mean? In my store, the 5ct is $6.99.

        • At my store, the 5 ct is 10.49, but the coupon can not be used on 5 count.

    • Fallaya

Had another fantastic shopping experience at Rite Aid this morning:

      Powerade Zero x 2
      Rice Krispy Treats
      Crest w/ Scope
      Revlon Nail Files x 4
      Dawn with Olay x 2
      Coffeemate
      Check-out candy

      -3/15 RA coupon
      -$1 Crest coupon
      -$1/2 Dawn coupon
      -BOGO Powerade coupon
      -Free Coffeemate (Facebook offer)
      -6 +ups

      Paid 75 cents and received 10 +ups (4,4,2)

    • SamanthaB

When doing the UP reward and it has a limit on the item is that per transaction or per sale? EX: 2 fusion razors…5.00 up…can I do this twice?

      • Bamasaver

The stated limit is per wellness card. In your example, if the ad states a limit of one, you will only earn one +up using your card regardless of how many razors you purchase.

    • Amy

Anyone have any luck in printing Profoot coupons?

      • Designmom

They were printing last week, but appear to be out now.

    • Brittany

If the ad says limit 4, is that 4 per transaction, day, or week? I'm assuming it is keeping track on your card.

      • cs

        its 4 per week

    • Samanthamcf

I did the Allure deal today and it worked even with my coupons just like Jenny had it layed out. But when I went online to enter my code I'm not sure if it did anything. It doesn't say how to get the rebate instead of the subscription. I chose no thanks rather than picking a magazine. Does anyone know if that is right?

      • Annjand

Below all that is a couple of paragraphs of tiny gray fine print. At the very end it explains how to get the rebate…you have to fill out the little form at the bottom & mail it in with the receipt, etc.

        • ym

can someone help clarify the “fine print” on the rebate. It says you must “mail the following proof of purchase within 30 days….”. Does that mean from what I purchased or just the completed form and the copy of my receipt? I so want to do this right! Thanks!

          • i'd like to know what “the following proof of purchase” mean also. it only mentions the copy of the receipt and the completed form, but i'm wondering if we're supposed to send in the proofs from the products as well?

      • stacey

Are you in NC? i want to know if its working here?

      • mel6

I hope you get a responce to this because I also only want the rebate not interested in the magazine

    • NorthALCouponer

Ugh I hate my store! I have to use my Allergy Reward because it's going to expire on Saturday and I wanted to do the Allure deal but it's not valid in my store! And because of the tornadoes here, I'm not going to be able to drive to another store since they are all in areas that were hit pretty hard (not that I'm mad at them for that). Still so frustrating and makes me not want to use RiteAid at all.

      • Bolessd

I had a similar problem with the RiteAid on Broad St. in Chattanooga. I'm in NE AL and have been volunteering at the church some, anyways, I called them Monday and explained that I had 2 of the 3/15 coupons that I wanted to use to buy supplies for donations and the coupons were expiring on 5/2, but I couldn't make up there until Thursday, I asked if they could still accept the coupons under the circumstances and they rudely said No, we can't do that. Thank You very much RiteAid for having a kind and understanding outlook at this situation!!!

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

I'm sorry they were rude about it, but we only get “credit” for those coupons since they're basic store coupons, but if we accept them expired, not only do we lose out on whatever that credit is, the cashier who accepts them-or even the manager-could be written up for not following the policy. I always hate to say no on something like that, but there really isn't much that stores can do without getting themselves in to hot water.

    • Kisdcoupon

I am TOTALLY new to this and need a little help these are the items I need (and also the ones I have coupons for) Im trying to figure out what the best way to set up my transactions woud be…

Just to let everyone know, you can get the Allure code on your receipt even if it takes you more than one transaction to build up the total to $25. I found that out the hard way because stuff was cheaper at my store than I thought and ended up only with $20 instead of $25 the first time and had to go back in today.

Today I got 2 Pantene hair products for $.50 each and Cover Girl blush for $2.49.

I was looking forward to getting the pampers diapers but, I did not see the $2.50 off coupon that should have been in PG 5/01..I looked thoroughly and Im disappointed that there isnt one! The $1.50 off is good but not as good as $2.50!!

Can someone tell me if BOGO at Rite-Aid means 1 at 50% off like at Publix and Kroger or do they require you to buy one item at full price and get the other free?

      • Ardnasfu82

BOGO at Rite-Aid is truly BOGO, first item is full price, the second rings up FREE. HTH

    • Robin

old spice body wash printed $2+UP for me last night. i used the bogo coupon from the P&G insert & a $1 coupon that i had. i wasn't even expecting it but it printed out two $2+UP. maybe it's a non-advertised sale? i didn't see it in the circular but was pleasantly surprised when i saw the receipt :) this whole deal makes 2 body washes free!

    • Cheriec32

Isn't there a bogo gillette coupon that you could use for the buy one get one half off?

        What coupons did you use?

    • NorthALCouponer

Ignore my rant from earlier, I went in today and still got the Allure promotion even though it wasn't advertised in the ad! Does anyone know if there is a limit one on this deal? I'm only about $10 from getting to $50 in P&G products.

does allure rebate require upc codes from the products purchased or just copy of receipt and completed rebate form? I want to be sure I do this right! the “fine print” on the rebate says you must “mail the following proof of purchase within 30 days….”. So what's that mean? Thanks!

      • The proof of purchase is a copy of the receipt and the tiny form at the bottom of the page.

If you use Zyrtec-D, this is soooo the week to buy it. If you buy 4 of the 24 count at 22.99, you will qualify for the $20 gift card. The Zyrtec also qualifies for the 5 UP on every 25 of allergy purchases. PLUS you get 5 UP for every 14 you spend on zyrtec this week. Combine that with the coupons above and that is a killer deal since the only way my husband can survive Georgia allergies is on this stuff.

      • LindsayRobbins

The only thing about Zyrtec-D is it has pseudophedrine in it so there is a federal limit on how much can be purchased by one in a given month. I believe it is around 3.2 gr…..so that isnt but like 2 packs a month!!!///:(

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

Do the other Zyrtec products not count towards the programs in the same way? I didn't even realize she was talking about the “D” until you replied. I don't think the sizes even matter in the system though (for the controlled substance law), it has never allowed anyone to purchase more than 2 per month no matter how small the package size is, at least not that I've seen.

I am a little confused about a couple of the coupons suggested for us to use in the scenarios above, I went to RA today and all of the coupons I used worked out but at first the cashier didn't want to take two of my coupons said that they were not actually the right coupons for those products….first one was the $5 off olay facial moisturizer wyb venus refil second was $2 off venus razor or cartridge pg 5/1 (my venus coup said $2 off one venus refilable razor) the cashier told me that the olay coupon was for the more expensive cream pictured in coupon wyb the more expensive venus refil also pictured and the $2 off venus coup said refillable razer not the refil, I bought two olay face moisterizers and two venus refils not the most expensive and not the ones pictured in coups (bought and used what was suggested in scenarios above) after the cashier starred down the products and coups for several mins still doubting he said i'll try anyway to see if they go through….they did and he was not to happy about it….my concern is Im not trying to rip any stores off or get away w/ using the wrong coupons Im still kinda new at this and trying to learn from my many coupon mistakes, just trying to get some good deals….Does anyone think I used the wrong coupons for the wrong products?

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

I think the cashier was right in this scenario, but not for the reasons he stated. The pictures don't always match, especially on stuff where it's “Any Olay moisturizer” or something, because that's a very large line. What he was right about is that the $5 off Olay WYB Venus is for the venus refillable razor, which is the actual razor, not the refills. The reason “refillable” is on there, is because they also make disposable razors, and that isn't what the coupon is for, so by you buying the refills instead of the razor, you didn't meet the requirements for that coupon to be used. Also, if the second coupon had the same wording, you didn't meet the qualifications again. I've only seen it once, and I don't remember if mine was for the razor and/or cartridges or not. If it was for the refills like it seems like it says yours was, then you should've bought 2 Olay moisturizers (you did this) and 2 Venus razors, not the refills, to be able to use your coupons. When the coupons don't beep, it doesn't mean that it was okay, it means that they weren't coded to differentiate between the items in that brand.

The second point I want to make, is that our DM found out from the manufacturers a couple of months ago, that if you use a coupon that is Buy product X and get Product Y for free, you can't then also use another coupon on product X because to satisfy the terms of that first coupon, you have to buy both. I'm thinking the same would probably go for a scenario like this, since you have to buy the Venus cartridges to get the $5 off Olay, using a second coupon is technically stacking 2 manufacturers coupons, even though the first is only linked to the Olay. We'd always accepted it, but we had a lot of coupons not reimbursed and when he did some calling around, that's what he found was the problem.

Thanks for your very helpful reply sounds like you know what your talkin about I will definately be paying more attention in the future and now that I've had a chance to better look at the things I've purchaced I noticed that I did in fact buy the razers not the refil, I was confused on which to buy so I took both up to the register thinking the cashier would know which ones would work properly w/ the coupons (I made sure there were no other customers were in line) and as I said he was more concerned about the olay cream, I thought he rang up the refils but it was the razers that had a couple refils in the pack…I have a couple of those same coupons left I don't plan on using them again because the more I look at both of them and compare w/ the deal idea and your second point above I don't think both of these coupons should've been used for the products not just because of the manu stacking problem but because one coupon says refilable razer and the other says refil, Im also not going to go out of my way to return the items to the store because I think there was a mistake in the coupons, I was being honest with the cashier not knowing which coupons matched with products and told him so if it didnt work I was gonna put them back, he decided to let It go because the computer didn't beep and he did not want to void out that transaction….as I said Im still new at this and refer to mostly blogs and southern savers for guidance…It seems to me that there is always gonna be a problem with this because most of the cashiers and some managers that I've dealt w/ dont understand all coupons or even their own store coupon policy, some coupons can be confusing and when you factor that in w/ cashiers not being trained well enough, computers not being set to know which coups not to scan and people who don't fully understand It themselves getting guidance from coupon websites (that also make mistakes) the mistakes are gonna continue and this all may some day come to an end….I hope not cause i need all the good deals I can get and try to figure out the right way to do it…. :)

          • Paige_Aminehdestin

I'm glad my reply made sense. I can barely see straight today, so I don't know if I'm speaking (typing) in English right now. I would never suggest that you take the product back because of a mistake that you and the cashier both made. It happens. Sometimes you're right and the cashier is wrong, sometimes the cashier is right and you're wrong, and sometimes no one know what's going on and you just have to roll with it. :-) I've learned a lot from these sites, and coupon acceptance is ever rolling it seems, so I like to try and update when I learn something new from my bosses as well as update them when I learn something here. It's a win-win for us all.

Burt's Bees Shampoo and conditioner are shown with a “50 % off” tag her in N. GA but have been ringing up at 1.99. Originally priced at 7.99. I stocked up. The manager thought they were either changing product labels or going to stop carrying them all together.

    • P1emtangel

is it typical to not get a lot of the printable coupons because “the campaign is over”? should i be printing them early and saving them in “clipped Q” folder? any suggestions appreciated, i'm still learning :)

    • Chele8367

The Covergirl Naturluxe coupon which is supposed to make it .79 cents doesn't work at my Rite Aid, it's still over $6 and I even showed the cashier this website, she had no clue what I was talking about or how you came up with that price. I drove an extra 15 miles to get 4 of these and left empty handed, very frustrated!

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Prices differ depending on locations, so sometimes the prices she posts on here aren't what you're going to find in store. She's just giving a suggestion basically so that you get a good idea, since most won't differ too badly. I don't think any Natureluxe will be that low anywhere there. I'm not sure which coupon and item she was considering to make it $.79 since that's just at the bottom of the list, it doesn't mean the bottom coupon makes it that price, it means that there's a scenario in there that can take it that low. And your cashier should've been confused by it. We have people come in all the time with print outs from different sites who say “But the website says” and we can't make them understand half the time that they aren't affiliated with Rite Aid and therefore don't know that the scenarios will work out the way it's laid out. There's definitely a learning curve.

I'm new to RA coupons and have a question. I went to RA tonight for the revlon deal. The ad says limit 4 offers. The offer I thought was $4 UP each 2 items. So I thought I could get 8 items 40% off and then get 4X $4 UP but the cashier told me it was 4 items and I would get 2x $4 UP. I didn't want to buy items and not get the UP rewards so I didn't argue with her. Is that correct?

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

You were right. It's a limit of 4 offfers, not items. The offer is $4 wyb 2 items. The store may limit you to buying 4 items as to try and keep some stock, but other than that, you can get up to 4 $4 +UPs on the deal.

      • jkrasku

Limit of 4 offers means limit of 4 UP rewards. I got all four and have asked the cashiers. That is what they have told me with every deal.
