Its not letting me print my coupons either.  What is the deal?

    • Rebecca D

There is a $.55 off Stacy Pita chips out there too – I cut mine out & don't know which insert it came from, but it would make 2 bags of them $1.95 each.  Not bad if you love them like I do!

      • KLee

It is from the Red Plum 6/26/11.

    • Victoria

Does Rite Aid accept Walgreens coupons ?

      • couponinginatl

I just looked at mine and that is actually a manufacturer coupon however it does have the wlagreens logo and says instant value coupon good at Walgreens so Im guessing they will give me a hard time about that one.

        • Newbie

I actually used a “redeemable at walgreens” manufacturer coupon for colgate at Publix once and they didn't blink an eye.  It didn't say ONLY redeemable at walgreens, so give it a try…

          • Sheila

Publix accepts many competitor coupons, so it would be less of an issue there than Rite Aid – who does not accept competitor coupons.  If you look at Rite Aid store coupons, they are also labeled as Manufacturer Coupons with the Rite Aid logo, but that does not mean that they can be used anywhere.

        • Rachel

I used a coupon at Rite Aid that had a Walgreens logo but said manufacturer coupon. I just asked the cashier to try it because it said manufacturer and she did, and it took it.

    • BarbJDean

If you're having trouble printing the Compound W $2 coupon, use 90210.

      • Wog

i tried that zip code but still couldn't find it.

        • Trouta

          It's on page 5.

    • Nicole

Has anyone had any luck getting the Rimmel facebook coupon?  I've looked for it every where and can't find it.

      • Natalie

        I can't find it either :(

      • Sheila

It was out a week ago I think and it is out of prints now.  Rite Aid adds various coupons to their facebook page randomly so be on the lookout.  The print limit is usually low too (5K?), so only some people actually are able to get it.

    • Just4yall

Can somone tell me how the 10% off shopping pas coupon works. If I use it will my ups still print off?

      • Kratie00

Yes, but you have to careful about your totals…Jenny doesn't usually include this discount in her scenario totals so if it is going to be close you may need a filler or something extra – like for the Rimmel deal this week. Of course, I'm talking about the Rite Aid card reward you get after reaching a certain total spent so far this year…

        • Just4yall

Yes that s the one I am takling about except at th bottom it says 10% decount or sales price witch ever is cheeper. I dont want it to mess up my trans.

    • Autball

The $3 off q for benefiber makes the smaller stick pack less than $1 at Bi-Lo! I had a feeling this q was back because my store was also sold out ;). I will keep the q in my wallet untill they are restocked!

      Thanks Jenny

    • Natalie

Has anyone ever used the $3 off $15 purchase coupon (that you can print if you are offered to complete a survey)? $15 before coupons? Thanks :)

      • Kratie00

Yes, they should take that coupon off first, before any of your other coupons…

      • Beasmom

yes,  it works before all coupons and up rewards but mine never scan and they always manually type it in..

      • Angie

Yes. Just make sure to hand it to the cashier before the coupons are used, therefore you will get all of your savings.

      • Rochellemcglothlin

I really rely on those coupons, but I get so disappointed when I don't receive a code on the bottom of my receipt each transaction. Do they limit those now on your receipts?

        • gina

I dont know if this is true or not but I dont receive a code at the bottom of my receipt every time.  I notice this is the case if I shop there more than once in a weeks period of time.  I could be wrong about this but thats been my experience.

          • Scoutsami

I think you may get the survey on your receipt many times throughout the month printed at random, but the rite aid survery site will only let you do three a month – but hey 9 extra dollars off my purchases per month is great!

            • Christa

              3 per month PER COMPUTER

            • Scottyray

      • Kristagantt

I use my every time.  No problems.

    • Mel6

Did some Thursday shoppin at my local rite aid and thanks to limits I was able to get all the items I was looking for, I have not had any problems buying sale items for several weeks now again thanks to limits but it wasn't a pleasant trip because all the employees were in a buzz informing me and all the other shoppers in the store how their coupon policy has changed whats funny is the shoppers seemed to know weeks before the workers….anyway one employee started complaining to me about how customers are clearing there shelves getting things for tax only w/ coupons, things they didn't need or want and selling them in yard sales and hording them in closets, Making their jobs harder dealing w/ all the coupons, ordering more products and constantly restocking shelves she also said that management is going to put limits on how many coupons customers are allowed to use on same products  (kinda thought that prob was solved w/ limits) I didn't have much to say because I was concentrating on my list, while I shopped I heard more workers complaining to other shoppers….as I checked out  the cashier and I exchanged friendly smiles and halfway through she started asking me if I used all the products I buy? Do I have a stock pile? she asked me several more questions that were pretty much like the first one just worded differently….Do I use all these products in a weeks time? Do I need all these things? Am I stocking up for hard times? I did purchase a little over $140 worth of products things like 3 Dulcolax , 2 razors, 2 body washes, 2 pantene products, 3 feminine products, 2 john frida products, 2 toothbrushes, 3 mouth washes (2 dif kinds) 1 toothpaste, 2 cans of peanuts, 5 candy bars, 4 packs of gum, 2 lipton teas and after coupons and last weeks ups I paid around $40 for everything which lead her to her last annoying question…How much was your total before we used coupons? I told her , then she saw the new up rewards counted them and said It's like you got all this stuff for free…now I don't really know if she was impressed or upset about that but she was no longer smiling, I didn't answer all of her questions and tried not to get to annoyed because I was again concentrating making sure all my coupons were being used but I did say a few things like we do use these items, I try to buy 2 or 3 each of the sale items we are interested in to last us til the next time that product goes on sale because I can not afford regular prices and I help my family out. In the last few months I have heard many cracks from employees about all the crazy extreme couponers and Oh no here comes trouble as I walk through the door w/ my coupon binder, Ive ignored them all but this time it was hard to ignore their complaining about extreme couponers in my opinion is getting out of control, Im tempted to call corperate and complain about this stores employees and their (EXTREME) rude comments…..sorry for the long comment  I would love to hear what others think of this.

      • Ladybugpam

That was very unprofessional of her.  I would have been offended by her implications.  It is not part of her job description to judge you.  She should have kept her rude comments to herself.  She wishes she knew how to get everything almost free, too!

        • racecitymom

She needs to learn the meaning of a little term called “job security”!!! If we didnt buy these things she might have nothing else to complain about but her unemployment check getting lost in the mail!

          • Mclement

EXACTLY!!!!!  Customer Courtesy Means Job Security!!!!!!

      • Pjteaches

We have several Rite Aid Stores in Athens, Ga and it depends on the store.  The one I go to now are very coperative and the cashier I had the last two times said, “I need to hang out with you.  You know how to use the coupons.”  I told her I learned how through this website.

      • Julianne

I understand the feeling. The Rite Aid i shop at, always has everything I need, and I enjoy going there….but after going a few weeks in a row same time, same day….I always get the same cashier….she also asked things about hoarding etc….and I just looked at her and said when I can get toothpaste for little to nothing who wouldnt buy it? I never clear the shelves I also only get the limit or under the limit because I dont need that much of that 1 thing. I also told her that really Rite Aid is making money while a shop, just like how I am savings money. The cashier gave me a weird look and I informed her how each coupon the store gets the face value from the mfg. and plus a handing fee. She still looked at me confused…then I went to explain another shopper can come in and buy the EXACT same items as me…pay full retail price without coupons and walk out….I can come in buy the EXACT same items and pay nothing but tax sometimes……and the store made money from the handling fees on the coupons….She still look at me and said thats not the point. And I just told her what I am doing is fair game for everyone who wants to takes the time to learn. Now when I come in the this same Rite Aid  I hear the comments like what you said…when i walk in with my binder….she rolls her eyes and says “Are you getting more toothpaste today?” I just smile and says Yes or No…depending if I am. FYI…I only have 6 boxes of toothpaste at home….NOT 3,000 like the extreme couponers…

      • Luvshilohshep

I think you should let corporate know.  If your complaint is as articulately said as you have posted and not rude, simply relaying info, they will hopefully take notice and do something about it.  I would make sure to include the date, time and store # located on the top of your receipt when contacting them.  They need to know what employees are saying within earshot of people who are providing them a paycheck.  If we weren't buying merchandise they wouldn't have a job of restocking shelves, processing coupons, etc.  Instead the may be trying to figure out how to make their food stamp coupons & unemployment check last them until the next month.

      • Christie

I would definitely call corporate.   You are a loyal customer, and you shouldn't feel uncomfortable when you shop there.

      • Janet

That is such a shame! I have two RA's near my house and the cashiers are soooo friendly and helpful. The Assistant Manager at one of the stores said he had one cashier that would always call him to approve coupons- he said she was terrified of being fired for doing something wrong! Insane!

      • Just4yall

I know the feeling. I just moved into the area and new at Rite Aid and is seems to be a grab bag of feelings when it comes to couponers. I have over 10 Rite Aids in my area and have only been to one of them and have never seen the same persn 2ce. I asked about it and they say they change not only shifts but between the stores as well. I also havnt been going there that long so I will eventualy. But the level of kindness has differed at each checkout. The first time the chashier gave me advise on coupings becuase she was a couponer herself. The second time the lady(a dif one) walked away and had the manager do it. I thought wow but would rather have the manager do it then her do it wih an attitude. 1 rude one and one nice one that made sure all of the coupons where in and asked if my total was right before she continued. Now everytime I walk in I cross my fingers and hopefor the best. >.<

      • Vkostyal

I think customers, cashiers and everyone else will always complain, I think tihats just the way it goes, I just started ignoring people!!  Yeah there are hoarders and those people that get a few things that make it look like “what do you need all that for”  I just started ignoring and yeah I would call coporate.  We actually have a cashier that we are friendly with at Harris Teeter and she told the cashier that we probably steal newspapers!  Totally inappropriate!  I guess they never heard of clipping sites and Ebay!!

      • Mel6

Im so glad im not the only one who thought this was rude and like I said the remarks have been flying for a while now, not sure if im gonna call corp or not though I am very tempted, I live in a small town and this is the only rite aid close to me, I had to call corporate a few months back over a $20 up reward I didn't recieve and they knew exactly who called cause the very next time I went in the store two cashiers let me know they knew I called…I don't really want the additional harassment I'll get for this call but im about to the point of doing it anyway…couponing is not easy It takes hours out of a week as you all know, I used to enjoy the final out come when I saw that I was saving a lot of money on items my family needed and getting things we ordinarily couldn't afford but the rudeness has just about killed that joy I now dread everytime I walk in that store even when I go to just get a perscription remarks fly I know some of it is harmless teasing but a lot of the times it is out and out rudeness…..I'll post again if I call, thank you all for your comments :)

        • raj

I would think you should ignore them or remind them that Rite Aid receives full credit on the manufaacturer's coupons, video value coupons, and most of the coupons in general (not sure about the survey coupons.)  So, by using a lot of coupons, rite aid stores receive more credit and have more money to pay wages.

          • Mizdelusional109

I totally agree with Raj. These people act like the products you buy with coupons are coming out of their house when in fact the store is not losing money.  Don't they understand that whether we pay for these items with coupons or our earned wages this is enabling them to get a paycheck!!!

      • I'm sorry you have had this issue.  I worked in retail for ten years before I started my programming job, and I hate it when rude customers take out their issues on the cashier because I've been in their shoes, as I think almost every cashier has, so I don't understand why customer service reps at stores do not think on that when they are the ones taking out their grievances on their customers.  Not only is it bad customer service, which the reps are getting paid for as part of their job, but it is rude and inexcusable.

I would definitely call corporate, because they need to know.  If they are doing this to you, they are doing it to everyone.  The questions they asked you are none of their business, and they had no right to pry into your personal life.  Yes, I understand the extreme couponers from the shows may make others look bad, however even those people started it for a reason.  Most of the stories I've seen on there are because they lost their jobs or some other family tragedy.  Some of us can't afford to pay retail on items, and by doing the couponing we are providing for our families things we may not have normally been able to purchase if we were shopping without the coupons.  If you were willing to go to another store locally, I would recommend that the next time something happens that you stop the person right there and ask to speak to their manager.  When they get their manager, ask that the person stay right there as you calmly reiterate what the person was saying to their manager.  Also tell them that you find it rude and it is to the point of harassment, and you would hope the rep would not treat all customers that way.  The fact of the matter is when they react that way to someone who is a couponer, it is in fact discrimination and that should not be tolerated.  I can guarantee that the rep will be written up, and possibly even let go, but the behavior has to stop.

      • Katie

sometimes i feel sorry for cashiers.  they barely make minimum wage for a living. But i don't think it worth for them to be so mean to customer who uses coupon.  At the end of the day, they still come home with a small paycheck plus a unhappy feeling they got for themselves and caused to other. word of advice to cashiers. BE NICE AND LEARN FROM THE BEST!!!!! THAT WAY YOU DON'T HAVE TO STUCK WITH MINIMUM WAGE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

      • Ptrcwilliams82

Been there, done that, know exactly how you feel and the extra humiliation of the interrogation at check by the cashier is totally and utterly uncalled for in this situation.  My best advice to you is just 'smile' and consider the souce of the harassment as beneath your integrity as long as you know without a doubt every coupon and transaction you do is perfectly vailid and within the store's guideline

    • Very well put together shopping list, thanks for this!

    • Trouta

For the Old Spice deal could I buy 1 Old Spice Deodorant and use 1 (Buy one Old Spice Fresh Collection or Red Zone Product Get One Old Spice Body spray Free) coupon to get the $2Up??  She did not list that coupon.

      • charlie

I was hoping someone knew the answer to this as well.

I was thinking if you have 2 BOGO for the Body Spray and a $1/2 Old Spice Products, you could possibly get 2 $2up?
        $7 for 2 Deodorant – $1 off 2 Old Spice Deodorant – $4up =$2 for all 4 products?

        • Jen

Yep, I did that last week.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

Exactly, also Red Zone body spray is also included in $2 UP, and the limit is 3. So you should get $6Up making all free

        • raj

use 3/15 survey as well if you have it, you may need a filler time if you are not buying the BW.

      • Bkny63

That's right.  They ran the same deal last week and I used the B1G1 + $1 off and it worked.

    • augustbabydoll

For the Burt's Bees Deal Idea….7.99 + 6.99 only comes to 14.98. That wouldn't qualify for the $5 UP since it didn't reach $15, right? Or does the tax count towards the $15?

      • Joellenrazzano

No, tax does not count. This would not work.

    • Jen

      Where's the rimmel coupon?

    • Christen Cook

Too bad I know that all the FREE+ stuff will be gone before I even wake up. :(

    • Ptrcwilliams82

I really believe all the hype about the bad cashiers at Rite Aid is simply a product of the mangement of Rite Aid.  Think about it this way, where I live, the manager of this store is the most unfriendly, unpersonalble person who could be hired for this people person position.  All his cashiers, except for maybe 5%, seem to carry his demeanor, attitude and arrogance.  I honestly feel it is the trickle down effect. Corporate  stays on the managers backs, then the managers stay  on the store personnell's back.  I am a pretty good judge of human nature, I have seen and heard too much when I was in the stores, this is my surmize.

      • raj

definitely DO NOT agree with this .  you can call corporate – corporate is very customer friendly and probably too a fault.  I can understand the part about the personnel taking the personality of the manager though.

        • Ptrcwilliams82

On my last visit to Rite Aid, the cashier asked me “twice” at check out,if
I had already  met my quota of the  product I was purchasing, I was amazed, I said “no” which was the honest truth, I thought the second time she asked the
same question in less than 30 seconds was over the top in customer service
in a negative way, to be so interrogating.  Needless to say I made no purchase.

      • Mel6

I agree with you about management the more I remember on my last bad shopping experience several of the employees were asking customers about their purchases I think that possibly the manager put them up to asking questions to try and find out who was extreme shopping in this store so they could keep an eye on them, I could be a little paranoid but they sure were watching me shop and paying close attention to what I purchased when I checked out.

    • Just4yall

So the Rimmel facebook are gone? Cus i have the $2/$5 rite aid coupon but cant find the other one.

    • Fcasvu13

I have a friend who is trying to do the Nivea deal above. How long does she have left to get $100 worth? Is the worth before or after tax? She is actually probably going to come out getting them for free or very very very cheap. Thanks for all the help!

      • charlie

http://images.iheartriteaid.com/ad_scans/2011/0710/071011.pdfAccording to this ad scan for next week, 86 days starting sunday. I don’t know anything about it, but I always thought you had to buy them all in one transaction?
I’m certain it needs to be before tax.

      • guest

The nivea deal goes until October….100 days of Nivea.  It is before tax.

    • charlie

I'm relatively new to couponing and had a question about peelies (coupons attached to products). I do feel that peeling them off products you are not buying is wrong, but is it wrong to use them on a future purchase instead?

The cashier at my RiteAid said they will no longer accept the peelies unless they are already attached to the item, so you would have to tell the cashier that the coupon is there and she would have to take it off. She said this is because some guy came in with over 10 peelies coupons for some perfume that was on clearance and got them for free.

      • Sandy

No, it is not wrong to use a peelie on a future item. I have often saved the peelie and used a coupon I already had because it was a better deal. This “peelie” rule that your cashier told you is not a corporate policy.

        • Amy

The new RA peelies state they will not take them unless they are on the product. My RA enforces this.

          • Natalie

I think that policy should be enforced at all stores.

      • karen

I found some peelies on some Jergen's and I came in with my own coupons.  I asked the cashier to use my printed coupons because they expired sooner (they were both for $1 off).  My cashier had no problem with that and never mentioned that I couldn't use those on another purchase later.

      • Amy

It is RA policy not to accept their peelies that have been peeled off. It states it on the new peelie coupons and a women in front of me was upset when they wouldn't take hers. I would follow the rule for whatever store you are shopping at.

I don't think it is a big deal on one side; however, I have seen someone take 60 hang tags and I thought that was plan old rude.

    • Jenney

For the Almay deal, if you buy 3 one coat mascara use B2G1 then you should get $3 SCR not $1. The rebate information says limit 3.

I was recently looking around another couponing site and they mentioned something that I haven't seen before. I have only been couponing a short time but I have shopped at Rite Aid for a while. They say in a transaction where you use video value coupons you can't use the $3/$15 Q or anything like it. Is this true? Thanks for the help!

      • Jenney

That's not true. For each item you can use a video Q/SQ+ a MQ+ $1Q(watch the wellness card video). And on top of that you can use the dollar off Q or percentage off Q for the transaction. Just be sure you use the $3 off 15 first because once the total goes under $15 after other coupons the computer won't take the $3/15 q any more.

      • raj

a few cashiers don’t know but most are okay.  use the 3/15 first (it will work if you use it at the end but even some managers say use it first) !!

    • dirtsurfer47

This is my first time shopping at Rite Aide – always only gone to CVS.  Can someone explain to me the single rebate checks?  Are they different from extra care bucks?

      • Sandy

Up Rewards are like CVS' ECBs. Single Check Rebates (SCR) is a rebate. You enter your receipts online and at the end of the month a check is sent to you. Click on “Single Check Rebates” on the upper right hand side of this page and Jenny explains it in detail.

    • Mel6

Well I called corporate today about my unpleasant thursday shopping experience and questions about the new coupon policy. The lady I spoke w/ didn't seem to concearned just said she would process the complaint…..She told me that the new policy is no more than 3 alike coupons on same products, I told her I saw online that you could use up to 4 but she said no only 3 and only 1 cents off coupon can be used on a b1g1 sale, I said somthing like wow we used to be able to use 2 cents off coupons on b1g1 sale and she raised her voice a bit saying “you can't use a coupon on a free item thats like getting both for free” ( I didn't argue w/ her it wouldn't have done any good)….. sadly I think coupon days are slowly coming to an end, I am not a hoarder and don't have a big stockpile but I may regret that when this does all come to an end and I have to start paying $5.00 for a tube of sensitive toothpaste and the people with the huge stock piles still have plenty.

      • guest

WOW….sorry you had such a bad experience in the store and with a phone call to corporate.  Unfortunately what most people don't realize that all complaints called in are just logged and sent to the District Manager.  So skip the step and just call the District office and speak the DM.  They are usually more sympathetic and will take care of the problem much quicker than corporate will.

        • raj

start with calling the store manager.  the store managers hate it when they get called from corporate.  So, they’ll likely hook you up with GC and perhaps $5 GC bonus.  so, start with the store manager or the district manager if it’s a complaint about the store.

    • Ang

I hate to hear people are having RA horror stories.  The RA I shop is incredible!  Today I picked up (4) 2oz Jergens, (1) Nutella and (1) 8 pk of Motts…with my UPs and coupons I paid .48 before tax.  The mgr rang me up and LOVED it!  Then my (2) $5 UPs printed for the Jergens and he was like “girl, youre good!”.  Makes up for the few bad cashiers I get elsewhere :)

      • Missoh

How did you get 2 $5 UPs on jergen's? It says the limit is 1…

      • raj

AWESOME !!!!!!!!  hate to read so many “horror stories” glad that ppl also post their “incredible stories”

    • Eric

I did find a Rite Aid $1.00 off Airwick kit that is not listed above.  helps reduce the amount you spend. :)

    • Keclayborn21

Can you use a Rite Aid video coupon and a coupon from Facebook.  I am thinking one should be considered a store coupon.  The other a manufacturer's coupon.  Just wondering if my thinking is right.

      • Debko

You can use 1 RA coupon and 1 manufacturers coupon per item.

Even though some of the RA coupons say 'manufacturers coupon', if it starts with a 48 or a 49 it is actually a RA coupon and can be combined with a manufacturers coupon.

        • Keclayborn21

          Thanks for the information.

    • Erin

i am a lil confused, last week i bought 2 neuttrogena sunblocks, got my 5 up, and $21.00 towards the spend $50 get 15ups (this promo is listed in the SCR booklet) thats going on thru the end of the month, then i went back and got 3 coppertone sun blocks, (total $28 something, had 5 in coupons) got my 10 up for that promo, and it only add 8 bucks towards my spend $50, and all the coppertone products qualify, does anyone know anything else about this?

      • ChrissyPunkin

there are 2 offers btw – SCR # 14, SCR # 18 – great way to convert Ups.  Coupons work !!!!!!!!  hopef that this product never has to be used though :)

    • Ashlee Langley

Anyone know how the discont works on the wellness card. I have done transaction as shown but come up short (for ups) cause I now get 20% off. I did this last week and my totals where totally wrong and when i looked its just giving me 20% off the retail price and it comes up to the sales price….any help explaning this too me!

      • Debko

You either get the item for the sale price or the 10%/20% off kicks in if the % off is a better deal?  You just have to remember to double check before you buy it and see which price you are going to be paying.  HTH!

    • James

Is the Nozema razor deal advertise or unadvertised in circular.  I didn't see it in the circular??

      • Keclayborn21

It is in my circular on page 3.

        • James

thanks….just picked up 10 from 2 RA's.  There is a $2 coupon inside the boxes.

          • Beck

None of mine had a coupon in them.  Darn.

      • JDortmunder

razor deal advertise or unadvertised in circular”
        —–
          It's on page 3.
It wasn't yellow-taged in RA though. Regular prices were up.

      • Michelleb

The nozema razor coupon was not in my circular

    • Janet

Just had a weird thing happen at RA. I tore a $5 Up Reward off last weeks receipt and tried to use it ($10 purchase)  The cashier got an error saying the reward had already been redeemed!
She saw me tear it off the receipt (and I am a regular) so she knew this was not correct. The manager was nice, but said that he couldn't do anything. Has this happened to anyone else and do you think customer service could help?

      • VP22

Happened to me last Sunday. I called customer service on Monday and told them what happened. They asked me a few questions, like how much it was, Wellness card #, etc. After that, she told me they would mail it to me. I'm guessin it will be a gift card for the amount.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

It will be a paper Up coupon possibly in denominations of $1, with expiration of several weeks

      • guest

I had a problem like this yesterday.  The cashier had to get the manager to show her how to enter it and it finally worked.

      • guest

Yes all the store has to do is key in the first 11 digits of the barcode on your up reward.

    • char

I just had the worst shopping trip of my life at RA. It started as my mistake, they keep all the Rimmel makeup with another brand and I accidently picked up the wrong one… so my mistake, I should have caught it before I paid, again my mistake. So then the cachier said I could just buy another and get the $5+up. I said, I thought it all had to be in one transaction, she said no. I bought it and no $5 coupon. We had to do a return for all of them and buy the new one. So I lost my $10+up I used previously. After that whole disaster, which I know was my fault, the $2 Nozema coupon wouldn't scan and she said it was because it was a 6pack and not a 4pack. It was one of those 4+2 bonuses. Then the coupon that came inside of it wouldn't scan either for the next transaction with the $2 Nozema, but the product was correct this time.
Finally, she wanted to fight me about using 2 BOGO with the $2 of 1 old spice, she said I could only use 1 manufacturer coupon per item, I explained it to her and she just says, well if it scans I'll give it to you, which it did.

I know it was my fault that started the whole mess, and I understand how being a cashier it can be very frustrating, but I always run into the same lady and I wouldn't call her nice, but she's not nasty, just seems like she hates her job.

On the plus, it printed out 2 $5 coupons for the Rimmel because she did the return and the purchase on the same transaction, so I only lost $5+up from the whole thing. Just another lesson learned I guess.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Not sure how you lost $10 Up. If you used it earlier and now wanted a return, Up should have been issued as store credit.  She was correct it was one Q per item. I think you might wanna reword what you did so we can understand and possibly help so as to be ahead in game next time.

        • char

The $10+up was not issued as store credit, after I used it and did the return I no longer had the $10+up. I thought once you used it that was it. Is there anyway to get it back?

She was actually wrong, because even in RA coupon policy it says if you have a BOGO coupon you can use a cents off coupon on the items you are actually paying for.

So for the old spice, you buy two deodorants and use a $1/2 and then two BOGO coupons to get the free body spray.

          • Mel6

I called corporate earlier this week for a some problems I was having at the rite aid I shop at and to ask questions about new policy, The lady I spoke with said when they have a b1g1 sale you can now only use 1 cent off coupon but you can use a cents off coupon combined with a b1g1 coupon, I don't understand their logic with this rule, why can you no longer use 2 coupons for a b1g1 sale but can use a b1g1 coup w/ a cents off.

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

Most employees at these stores are not the brightest one. They only know how to scan with the laser and if anything happens, then they do not know what to do and start imposing their understaning.

            A)  Store rewards are “earned.” They must be reissued as store credit if the item is returned because you could have used it for some other purchase. In your case, you had a good reason for return, so it was not even that you were trying to circumvent something. You must demand your $10 store credit from the managers. Do not budge. They should have known

            B)  There is confusion about bogo. If there is store sales of bogo, buy item 1 and get item 2 free, then you can not use manuf. bogo Q., but you can use one manuf $/cent off Q on item 1; no coupon ca be applied to item 2 because its value is ringing up as 0.00 already.

            C) (If the store sale is not bogo), and if you have manuf. bogo Q., then yes of course you can use manu bogo. Buy item 1 and 2 => apply manuf bogo to item 2 that you can get for free. Now if you have cents/$ off manuf Q on the same type product, then you can also apply that to item 1; thus, you may use 2 manuf Q; you may couple manuf bogo Q with manuf cents off Q on the same 2 items.

I am still puzzled how you could let go of your $10 up and not get back the credit for it regardless of any policy. You knew you could have used the same “credit” for something else. Imagine, you used gift card to buy something and then return it and not get any money back; basically return it for free? Makes no sense, right ! so you got the idea

            • raj

who are you ?  I wish I could just subscribe to your posts – you are actually quite savvy and knowledgable on these posts – how do I subscribe to Mysterious_Mentalist ?  lol

      • KCRAVES

The RA closest to my house hates to see coupons and lets your know it! They huff and puff & complain through the transactions. The store manager is the same way. I quit going there and drive to another one 2 miles down the road. I complained in a store survey, but not sure if anything was ever donw. I cashiered for years at Winn-Dixie. Coupons did not bother me. I've helped customers arrange thier coupons for maxium discounts. Like, using $off first, bogo, then discount card. Being nice to people makes them want to come back.

      • I do not think that you actually lost your $10 Up. When the cashier scanned your items for return, you should have been credited the full price of the items, which would include any coupons and Up rewards you had used as payment. By receiving full credit for those items, you got credit for the $10 Up reward and only paid for any additional items. This can easily be determined by looking at your receipt. At least, this has been my experience.

If you were printed an additional $5 Up reward, it sounds like you actually gained $5.
Did it say that it was for purchasing Rimmell?

    • Mgdramamama2

Does anyone know anything about a video values coupon for Chock Full of Nuts coffee?
I have seen it mentioned in other blogs and there was a sign at my RA saying there was a $1 video values coupon.  I went to the video values site and I can't find it.  Am I missing something.

    • Amyhiatt08

So I wanted to tell you all about my trip today at my local Rite aid.  So I got into the store and went to get the soft soap and it was all gone not one bottle in the whole store.  But as I was walking down one of the isle there was a woman digging a bunch of bottles out of behind some boxes.  They hid like 12 bottles.  Needless to say I left the store without any soft soap.  What do you all think of that?  Now I have been guilty for just about clearing out a self the the week that I did it I felt really bad, I did not clear the shelf tho.  That's why they are putting a limit on what a person can get.  If you are reading this you are a bad GREEDY lady and you should be ashamed.

      • raj

why didn't you ask for some ?  you should have talked to her or a clerk.  Limit is 4 awards.  btw, guess who that lady is  (haha j/k)

    • Meesh

      rite
is starting to really frustrate me. not only did they do away with
their allowance of 2 coupons on a store B1G1 deal, but here you go: i
bought 2 dr. scholls items today, sale price was over $20 (meaning i
would get the $8 UPS). I had $5 in coupons, but that $20 is before
coupons, right? Wrong. Soo I didn't get the $8 UPS, this threw my
      shopping trip off.
Also, when I checked my reciept for the total I had spent on Dr.
Scholls, and it wasn't there (you know how it tells you how much money
you've spent on skin care items to get the UPS reward?). I am
considering returning it because honestly, it's not something that I
need, I just bought it because it was cheap, and I would get UPS.
Before you ask, the cashier was super friendly & offered to get the
manager, but I planned on calling corporate later (there was a line
      forming behind me).
Other than that, a pretty boring trip to Rite Aid. No UPS earned this week…thank goodness for single check rebates!!

      • Bkny63

You should call corporate.  Your UPS should have printed.  I did the same thing and used $5 in coupons plus some UPS to make this purchase and the $8 UPS printed.  UPS haven't printed for me before.  I just called corporate and gave them my receipt info and they mailed me my UPS.  It took about 2 weeks.  good luck

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

It might be register glitch at that very moment It was not printed, not because of coupon use.

      • raj

Call 1800RITEAID – they can look into your account and see if you qualified for the Dr. Scholls' spend $20, receive 8Ups.  Corpate also can check if the Up did print or should have printed.

Regarding the other comments, the folks are wondering if you handed the Up reward (that said already used) for a prior purchase and the system beeped b/c your subtotal would have gone below zero?  If this is the case, the cashier hands you back to the Up award for you to use on another purchase and neither of you realized at the time that the Up award is now invalidated.  I have a feeling though that this was indeed the first time you tried to use it?  Very odd – this has never happened to me unless the cashier handed me back an Up b/c of the zero-subtotal issue or an expiration issue.

    • Mgdramamama2

Meesh,  I don't know what your situation is but I have run into a problem since I reached the 10% level.  I almost lost a $10 up on vitamins, because the amount I needed to spend was just under where it needed to be after the 10% was applied, so I had to quickly swap out on bottle for another to make the limit.  If the product is not on sale, but qualifies for the up reward, you have to calculate the discount–10 or 20%.

      • Meesh

what do you mean the 10% level?

        • guest

once you reach 500 pts on your wellness card you will begin to receive 10% off anything regular priced.  However the system will automatically figure out which is the better deal for you, the sale price or the 10% discount.  Once you get to a 1000 pts you will begin to receive 20% everyday on regular priced items.

    • Nab2079

Can someone help me??? Has anyone experienced this before? During my transaction today at Rite Aid, one of my UPS reward would not take. The cashier said the the UPS was used for a previous transaction. However, I NEVER used that UPS before. I received it from my last transaction last week. The manager on duty said they could not do anything about it, because the register said it was used before. Also, if I used the UPS reward before, why didn't the cashier take it from me during the transaction????

      • guest

see below.  It happened to me yesterday but the manager told the cashier how to accept it.  others have talked about it below

      • guest

If you tried to use them previously and then had them cancel the up reward or the transaction altogether then you will get that error.  However, they should just manually key it in using the first 11 digits of that barcode.  They should know that…..they are just being hateful.  Also, if that was the case then they shouldn't have given the up reward back to you so once again they are not doing what they are suppose to do.  I'd call and talk to the manager again and see what he says then if he doesn't fix it call his District Manager.

        • Nab2079

Thanks for the info! They were being hateful. I even asked the manager on duty if they can enter it manually, and he told me know. They can't do anything about it.
I'm going to call customer service and store manager about this.

          Thanks again!

    • JDortmunder

Anybody do SCR #18 “Wartner” Remover Kit? It was supposed to be on sale today for 10.99 and I didn't see any?

I did get “Freeze Off SCR#14.

      • raj

I got both at 10.99 and there are $1 or $2 MC available.  Call a different store in your area, I suppose.

    • hannah

Has anyone bought the purex at RA this week yet? Is the purex zout included in the sale? Thanks so much

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

I don't know about other stores, but at mine, we don't carry the Purex with Zout.

    • Last week, I went in and did three transactions.  Each receipt had a $3 off when you take the survey offer on them.  Can I use all three of these, so long as I use them on different transactions?  Or is it connected to my card, and I will only get one, even though I have already printed two, and they have different expiration dates?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Each print is unique and should work on different transaction without a problem and regardless of your card.  I believe as long as you have unused $3 off Q. you can use it whenever you like irrespective of your prior use.   They usually expire in 14 days from print. I would give few days in survey so as to have expiration dates spread out in case I would need them for later weeks or so.

    • Mgdramamama2

Meesh,  Sorry, I have been out for awhile. You get points for what you buy during the year. When you reach 500 points you get 10% off all regularly priced items.  Then when you reach a higher level you get 20% off.  This resets at the first of the year. It is great to get money off, especially if you get ups and can use coupons, but it can mess up your calculations when you try to buy as close to the amount required to qualify for the up reward.  So say you need to purchase $20.00 of product to qualify for a $5 up.  If you are at the 10% or 20% level and the items are not on sale, you have to purchase enough product to add up to $20 after the discount is applied. I hope this helps

      • raj

not 100% sure but I initially heard that RA was going to reset the 10/20% discounts at end of year.  Someone told me they will let folks keep it til end of following year.  This seems logical b/c many folks may rush at the end to hit the discounts and/or would be annoyed that they shopped for a close to a whole year only to see their discount evaporate too quickly.

    • Rachael

Hi! I'm sorta new to rite aid. I'm confused on the +up…. If you purchase two items in one transaction and each one is supposed to ear a $1+up reward….do you get 2ups? or do you have to purchase separately?

      • Sheila

You will get both +ups in your transaction.

    • Mcleodsc

Help! Please remind me exactly how many coupons I can use for one item. I want to use the $1 benefiber from videos, $3 printable from rite-aid site, and $3 IP benefiber. Can I use all 3 coupons on one benefiber? I just cannot remember at the moment! LOL!
      Does anyone know?

      • Sheila

You can use 1 mfr (your IP) + one Rite Aid “49” coupon + one Rite Aid “48” coupon.  Check the bacode of your VV and your RA printable.  Do they start with 48 or 49?  I hardly ever see the “48” coupons anymore.  The “48”s used to be the in-ad coupons.

        • Mcleodsc

Thanks, I was not able to use both RA cpns because they both started with 49. But I did use one and the mfg cpn.  Thanks.

          • raj

            idk – I turned in the $3MC, $3RA, and $1vv – all worked and received $3SCR.

    • TinaOwens

I just got 5 Softsoap Body Washes FREE!  WooHoo!  They are $2.99 this week with a $2 UP reward. Total for 5 came to $16.  I had a $3 off of $15 purchase coupon (this is why I got the extra one), then used (4) $1 off coupons from the Walgreens booklet and got back (4) $2 UP rewards.  Love it when a good deal works!  And I needed some girlie smelling bodywash after all the Dove Mens Care I've had to buy the last few weeks!  ;)  YAY!

      • TinaOwens

Actually, I used (5) $1 off coupons.  Sorry.

      • guest

Awesome deal.  You should have bought 4 more body washes.  If you had spent $25 on select items (softsoap body wash being one of the items) you get back and additional $10 +up Reward. Your store probably didn't have that deal advertised though.

        • raj

if she buys 4 more (for $12), she won't receive the $2 Up awards (limit 4).  But if you are correct about the 10 Up award, she could still buy 4 more for $12 and receive the 10 Up awards.  She could still do this now as purchases like this can be done in multiple transactions.  worth a shot if you really like/want that stuff plus she may have another 3/15 coupon and $1 MC and she can use her $2 Ups.

        • raj

just checked the ad-scan for next week … the $10 Up award when you spend 25 is for next week … doubt it is also for this week ?  In fact, next week, there are several products (including IrishSpring soap or bodywash, Colgate TP/TB, men's/ladies speedstick deodarant) listed as 2/$5, and if you  spend 25, you receive 10Up.  So, one could use the $3/15 survey coupons along with MC and bring the price down to close to $10 (before receiving 10Up).  It would depend on how many MCs you could find and how many transcations you run, etc.

    • Couponkrazy123

Went to my ra yesterday and tried to get the soft soap and the manager told me that they didn't take walgreens coupons on the soft soap.  I told him it was a manu coupon because it started with a 5 and he still said no.  So im calling corporate today and gonna let him talk to them over the phone.  I told him i understood that they didn't take walgreens coupons I wouldn't bring one in there but this was a true manuf coupon.  I was not happy when I left the store.

      • TinaOwens

I handed mine to the cashier upside down so she didnt see the WalGreens ad on the front side.   Try that.

      • Babyjess96

It says on the back, in small print, that you can redeem at other stores. I would just show them that line.

      • ladybug

Did you talk with corporate. i am curious to see what they say because the would not take them at my RA either. The manager claimed that they would not be reimbursed because it said WG on the front. I tried to explain but she wouldn't budge.

    • Chastainc

Alright …I have a question….I'm new to couponing and I want to use my coupons correctly for the Old Spice deal…now I know that I can use the BOGO coupon for the body spray and the $1 off two coupon….my question is in the ad it says that Old Spice Deodorant or body spray is 2/7.00 with a 2.00 +UP back……so since I have to buy a deodorant to get the spray free with my coupon….could I also use the BOGO coupon for buy an OS deodorant get a OS bodywash free???  It seems to me like this would work because neither of the coupons are for the deodorant…one is for the spray and the other is for the bodywash…….I'm fairly sure that this would not work ..but I wanted to ask you guys to make sure…thanks ya'll!!!

If you are buying 2 items, you can use the BOGO coupon but not the $1 off two on those two items.  That would be doubling up on coupons for the free item.  If you are buying a deodorant and getting the body spray free with the coupon, you can't get another free item from the same deodorant purchase.  I hope I have understood your question correctly.  You'll learn more as you practice. :-)

        Possible scenarios

        A)  Buy two deos, two BS
use $1/2 deos, and two bogo on BS (you can not continue to buy 2 additonal  BW AND use two bogo on BW because you have already used deos as “anchor” to get BS free)
Limit is 3, so you would get $6Up back

        B) Buy two deos, two BW
use $1/2 deos, and two bogo on BW (you can not continue to buy 2 additonal BS AND use two bogo on BS because you have already used deos as “anchor” to get BW free)
Limit is 3, so you would get $4Up back (BW not included for up)

        C) Buy 1 deo, and one BS
use bogo on BS (there is no cents/$ off coupon out on just 1 deo) (agan, you can not use another bogo on BW by using the same deo as “anchor”
I think you should get $4 in Up because you are buying two qualifying products

        D) Buy 2 deos, 1 BS, 1 BW
use $1/2 deo Q, and one bogo on BS, and one bogo on BW (no more Qs can be applied to “chain” the products)
        Get $6 Up

I went to my RiteAid today on my lunch break and I wasn't sure if it would work either, however it did! I only got two deodorants and one body spray and the computer took both coupons, the BOGO and the $1/2. I was honest with the cashier and she was very considerate. She rang up everything and both coupons went through. I got my $2 UPS reward plus a coupon for 10% off my next purchase!

        • I did this with gillette razors earlier this month.  Used two -$3 MQ on the razors and two bogo to get two cans of shaving cream for free.  Whoo hoo!

I have been CVSing for a while but just ventured out to Walgreens & RA for the first time on Sunday.  I was at the RA in Cayce, SC at about 10:00 a.m. Sunday and my husband and I could not find any of the free after +UP products listed in in the ad.  I don't mean they had sold out; they didn't even have a slot for them that we could find.  I also wanted the $1.99 Purex fabric softener and they didn't have that at all either.  Does anyone regularly shop there?  Is it just this store?  Was it maybe just a one-time bad experience?  Just curious.

my ra start putting the prices up on sunday they maynot havent put all of them out yet

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Sometimes sale items are in endcaps at odd places, not particularly in their respecitve assigned aisles

      • Yes, I have 2 RA within a mile and one is older and kind of dumpy and rarely carries many of the sale products, this week I was looking for the Noxema razors.  Just down the street they had a very different display and fully stocked and this was on Monday afternoon.  I have had this happen with other items that the stores in close proximately have very different stock.

Anyone had an issue using the video coupon for $10 on the Accuchek that is on sale for 9.99??
Cashier called manager over and he said no. Then she said she had already scanned it. He said if the register took it -then okay. She kept saying I would get it for free.
In the end I got it for free, but I do not like any kind of hassle when couponing.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Saying you would get it for free was not very intelligent of her. Now there are many items that are advertised as free after manuf coupon. Also, these items are on marketing; they will even pay you to take such items. Manuf want to hook you up with it so you will come back and get the stripes; same is true for razors where refill blades are hardly on good deals/sale

I want to do the Nivea deal for buy $100 get back $40.  Has anyone done this yet.  Do you have any deal ideas?  I printed out all the coupons I could find and plan on using my $5+up (from goining Wellness Plus online) in one transaction and my $3+up (survey question reward) AND my Video Value coupons.  You can split this up in different transactions.  Any suggestions?  I believe the average Nivea product is about $7.99 at Rite Aid.  I have ALOT of +ups from other purchases, but I want to use as few as possible and as little out of pocket as possible.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I did this but I did it a few weeks ago when there were more qs available.  I used a lot of $3.00 lotion qs and went in for the B2G1.  I don't think that it is a good deal right now though.  HTH  I would wait to see what other qs come and also wait to see if they do a better deal than get a nivea creme.

you didn't like the free Crest tp – 2.69 SCR, which can be done on-line ?

Also, there was a $4 MC on the Schick razor – maybe you already used it.

        • KCRAVES

I didnt really understand the SCR until a few days ago. I entered all my reciepts from the last few weeks. $4 I used quickly.

          • raj

SCRs – quite nice, note you can submit for it on-line.  much easier, less chances for mistakes, and no postage.  Rite Aid is amazing :)!   And, so is Jenny!

Anyone know how to get the $2 Rimmel coupon.  When I go to the facebook page, I don't see anywhere for the coupon.

    • Nataliekelley0129

I printed off the Purex with Zout coupons, does anyone know if I can use them towards the regular Purex fabric softener or laundry detergent RA has on sale right now? I could have sworn I saw a post about this already, but I could not find it again. Thank you in advance for your help!

      • Akteacher

I used a Purex with Zout coupon I got with a free sample (in the mail).  They took it without a problem, but to be honest I don't think it applies to that product.  The Purex with Zout is not on sale.  I don't even think Rite Aid sells it.

        • Nataliekelley0129

Thank you so much for letting me know!

          • Sburgin

i tried to use it today and the register wouldnt take it..they told me it had to be the 1 with the zout

            • Guest

The register would not or the cashier would not take it?

      • Coupongal1

You can try and use it but it is not the correct MQ for the product on hand – so they may not let you use it.

    • guest

So I got went to walgreens tonite and got the summer beauty booklet. It had a softsaop coupon in it but it says to only be used at walgreens and it doesnt say manufacturer coupon anywhere on it that I noticed. Did I get the right booklet??

      • Coupongal1

Yes, you got the correct one.  I don't think my RiteAid will let me use it because it says Walgreens on it.  I had problems with a MQ last week that said Safeway on it.  Wished they would not print stores names on the coupons because you should be able to use a MQ anywhere that takes them.

I actually would've done better had I remembered to do my survey before going to the store so I could've saved another $3 :-/  but I'm not worried since I can use it next week at least since I am now out of +UPs after today's trip!
