This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

Here are all the deals that start Sunday 10/3 at Rite Aid. This is a VERY good week with tons of freebies and things under $1. I worked up a Scenario at the bottom for more FREE diapers (in case you didn’t get enough two weeks ago).

Print $5 off $25 Purchase coupons by watching Videos.

Deals with ** are only in the long ad. If your area is a “short ad” area your store will honor these deals. Go to Rite Aid.com and print out the page of the long ad (zip 30003) that you are wanting a deal from. Most managers will adjust the price to the ad.

      Thank you so much!!!

    • RebeccaFer

Thanks so much Jenny! Just a note, the Hartz Crunch and Clean ip coupon from the Hartz site is for $1/1 not $2/1. They changed it a couple of months ago much to my sadness. It's hard to find my dog's favorite treats for free anymore! :)

    • Abbydreyer

Just a question….I noticed most of my video value coupons printed out saying manufacturer coupon on them. Just making sure they can be combined with actual manufacturer coupons before I got attempt some of these!

      • MarySC1000

They are store coupons. Manufacturer coupons always start with a 5 or a 9.

    • Cathy Haug

I would love to win your color laser printer, Recently I saw were a gal repainted 3 old picture frames, then she chose 3 words that inspired her. I hope I can explan this well enough. She enlarged the dictionary definition of a word like INSPIRE and aged it. Then she, put the same word even larger in black. After closing 2 more words, putting them all in the frames, hang them on the wall, then you have not only something beautiful, inexpensive, but special to me that will inspire me every day.

      • Wrong post – you may want to copy and paste this to the correct post about the printer giveaway. I'm not sure Jenny will have noticed this one in the wrong spot.

        • Ready2Save

Jennifer…this has nothing to do with the above comment :)

I just wanted to Thank You for responding. Thanks for the help :)

I'm having trouble getting the suave body wash coupon to print…

    • MarySC1000

I just got an email from Similac with a $3 off coupon, and I printed twice. I will combine with a couple of coupons I already have and get 6 bottles for $1 each!!

      • Aminehdestin

Make sure you know the recalled products, just in case stores haven't all received the recalls, or done them! It's only a handful of items on the list, but I don't want you running out and stocking up, just to find out that you have to take them back or risk getting your baby sick.

        • MarySC1000

Only powder was recalled, no liquid of any kind.

        • Guest

Stores have already taken the recalled items off the shelves. When an official recall is issued, stores act quickly to avoid liability. And only the powder was recalled, not the 'ready to feed' (which is a liquid form).

          • Aminehdestin

Sorry, I didn’t realize we were talking about the liquid. Stores are supposed to pull ASAP but since recalls sometimes take time to filter down, it can take longer than you’d expect. When I’m working, I keep track of recalls online, and go in with a list so that we can pull it JIC even if we haven’t gotten official word. The McNeil recall (first one, Tylenol Arthritis) I had pulled and in the office when our DM called saying that it wouldn’t be in the portal until the following day and the recall would download in 2-3 days but to pull all of it right away, when I laughed and said I’d just finished it stunned him.

    • Amy

I am so disappointed that all our Greenville, SC stores have changed over to Rite Aid/Sav-a-lot's, they do not participate in the ads anymore and have half of the stuff they used to…such a bummer!

      • Beth

They are suppose to start having ads in the next 2 weeks- whatever that means

      • Tsgilb6

The store on WH in Greenville will still give you the ad prices on the items that they carry. If you print out a shopping list from the RA website for the east region and take it into the store they can do it. They will also print out +UP rewards. But, you're right, the stock is very limited at this point.

        • Ashley

Which RA on WH? There are two…I did not realize they would give the sale prices if you printed out the ad. Do they have much of a stock on diapers? All I am looking for? :)

      • Tammy

I don't know what part of Greenville you live in, but the RA on 153 in Powdersville is still a regular store-I asked last week and was told that they don't have plans to convert that store! Might be worth the drive for the right sale!

      • WynetteC

I heard someone in the RiteAid mention the training that is taking place for the changeover into the merge. I certainly hope it's not going to be a negative effect. I am just starting out shopping with them and I am loving it!

    • Crystal

Can someone tell me where I find this: $128 Inside Clip & Save booklet (Rite Aid coupon)? I do the video coupons…….but what is this booklet? I'm just two months into this and although I am doing pretty well I still have alot to learn! Thanks!

      • Blanecreations

i found mine in the store on the shelf with the weekly ads. i think they were handing them out with the flu shots too.. but i haven't seen them lately so they might not be handing them out any more :-/ but i would look near the ads at your store!

      • livnlol

It is in the back at the pharmacy if they still have them. I had to try 3 stores before I found it. I would call around. Good Luck!

    • A question – I am not going to try to use them more than once, but can you still print RA coupons as PDF? My printer went kaput, so I have to go to the library to print, and the last time I did, I lost $17 in RA coupons. I'd like to avoid that situation by bring pdf files on a jump drive so I can have another chance to print them if the printer eats my print again.

      Thanks for the help!

      • Lydaugherty

I'm assuming so, because they generate different #'s when they are printed. If you did happen to use the same exact coupon in the future though, you are risking them not accepting coupons in the future. This is because normally they get reimbursed full face price PLUS handling for any coupons, but if you happened to hand them $17 in fake coupons (as in coupons you had used just a couple days ago but printed again), they lose $17. And when they lose time and money, everybody will lose in the end.

        • Susan

It doesn't sound like she's trying to do that. Plus, the register would beep the second time you tried to use the coupons, so they wouldn't work–which would prevent “handing over $17 in fake coupons.”

          • coralie

yes, you can. i do that sometimes because one time when i printed out the coupons without doing that, 3 of the coupons were crazy. one was all blank except my name, one was all gray, etc. another time i spilled liquid on them (not a good idea)…better to be safe than sorry.

    • Blanecreations

yayy.. my favorite ad of the week :-D

    • Cindy

Does anyone have a zip for the $2.50 Huggies coupon? I can't find it. Thanks.

      • binky

they took it off today i think, i saw it last night, but now its gone! bummer

        • Anna Curry Sims

      • Im having the same problem Maria…ugh frustrating

    • MK

Under your transactions, Scenario #1, the total due that I keep calculating is $6.47. Perhaps I missed something, but you may want to double check.

      • binky

she probably used a 5/25 also

    • robyn

the tresemme coupons says “no more prints for this campaign”. i can't find the suave coupon. it just keeps telling me the page won't load.

      • tammy

i am having the same problem-page won't load

      • branmuffin

me too! I really need some shampoo & conditioner :(

      • jlynnskiminny

on google, look up suave coupon .50 or something like that and then go to a website that has it listed and then use their link and it works…

        • Annette

Thanks! the Suave coupon worked when I googled it. Got to the proper promotion and clicked for the coupon. Been driving me crazy, so thank-you.

          • jlynnskiminny

            u r so welcome!

        • linda

Thanks. I don't normally use google but after trying other search engines and not finding the coupon and use it and found the coupon immediately.

    • Debra

I can't figure out how transaction #1 comes to $1.47 – I get more than that… $1 for the Glade, $3.50 for the diapers, and $2 for the Tilex? I'm obviously missing something. (Bugging me!)

      • Amber

I think she used a $5/$25 store coupon before the other ones. HTH!

    • Annette

Is anyone getting the M Suave body wash coupon link to work?? Just keeps saying problem loading page. Other Suave products work, but not the body wash. can’t find it on coupons.com either…suggestions…

    • kcreviews

The Sobe Lifewater promotion is now over–no more BOGO q's. I think I may go into withdrawal.

    • Mndyeelain

someone please tell me what UP means, is this U Promise or something different?

      • gavin

UP rewards are like ECB’s at CVS. they print on the bottom of your receipt after you purchase the items. You will have to get a wellness card and then you can start shopping. You can use your UP rewards on anything. This is a picture of what they look like: http://dealseekingmom.com/files/2010/06/UP-Reward-341×470.jpg

        Hope that helps!

        • DonnaChas

So UP's can be used in any department on anything?

I got discouraged the one and only time I went to RiteAid a few months ago~thought I'd try it out. When the UP rewards printed, the manager (who rang me up) told me that the rewards had to be used in the same department that I got the reward in. So my two $1 rewards had to be used in stationery since that's where they were earned. I was trying how I would spend some of the other rewards I got because some were higher and in departments I didn't know how I would spend in again. I was very confused…..left and haven't been back.

However, I just came back here to read Jenny's list and senarios to see if I can figure this out again.

          • Daffydill4

UPs can be used on absolutely anything in the store just like cash.

          • Aminehdestin

I have never heard that one, but it is wrong. The only reasons it even says what you earned it from is to help prevent fraudulent rewards from being made and because that who is paying the store back when it's used, since it's a Man. coupon. When it started though, all stores were a little confused. If they try to tell you something similar again, point out the fine print, it says on any non-prescription purchase excluding X, Y & Z, over the amount of the reward.

      • Maria

UP is just riteaids name for their rewards, they are just like cvs ecb's

    • Akb

I have never shopped at ra before? can you actually get the ad prices and deals on sat evening like you can at cvs? excited to try ra! thanks!!

      • Aminehdestin

Most stores, no. Some stores put the ad up on Sat. and they have to modify the prices to match the signs, but for the most part, we have to wait until Sunday.

        • Ajblackmon

okay. Thanks! well-i can just have my stuff ready for tomorrow then=0) thanks so much!!!

      • Susan

        no, you cannot.

      • Daffydill4

they told me they put the sales signs up late saturday night, and if someone asks for the sales price, they have to give it to them even though it's really not on sale until sunday

    • Christie

I get so excited when Jenny posts the Rite Aid scenarios. I am absolutely giddy!

    • $avin'some$

i don't see any limits listed so do you think there are any? i've heard talk of no limits anymore so just wondering! thanks!

    • Rite aid newbie

Hey guys. This will be my first trip to Rite Aid tomorrow. I just finished watching the videos and I have a question. Am I allowed to print the RA coupons more than once? Or is that against the rules? Also, can I buy 3 packs of Huggies Diapers in one transaction or am I supposed to do them separate? Thanks so much for ANY help you guys can give :)

      • Susan

You technically could print them more than once, but they won't work more than once. They will “beep” at the register if you try to use them again. You can buy as many packs of Huggies in one transaction as you want. They are on sale, nothing else special about them–as far as buying multiple packs.

        • Dharvn

some people print miultiple video/value cpns to use at stores that accept competitors' cpns.

      • uabmathgeek

Even though Rite Aid will only one of their video values coupons I still print multiples because my CVS will accept them as competitor coupons.

    • WynetteC

I love the opportunity to obtain the $5 off $25 purchase coupons. They are now my favorite store and I've only shopped within it for a month! :)

    • Lori

I would go crazy if I had to match all this on my own. Thanks, Jenny

    • Sdcouponing

Can anyone please tell me where the rite aid coupon booklets are usually found or is this something from a rebate or sent in the mail? I have looked for them in my store but have been unable to find them. Thanks

      • beck

I called a local Rite Aid and asked about the coupon booklet. I was told that you only get it if you get a flu shot at Rite Aid. Don't know if what they told me was correct or not, but that's the answer I got.

        • Guest

The email advertisement AND the commercial that they play in the store BOTH say NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Meaning the booklet is an incentive to get the shot, but not strictly a reward for having already gotten it.

          • Guest

I brought that up with my RA and they said, “you don't have to purchase anything but you must get a flu shot. If you have insurance, you don't pay anything for the flu shot.” UGH, what sticklers.

            • Aminehdestin

All incentives say that, check any manufacturer's deals, they commonly say it to, but yet to get the form or to mail in for the special, you need to either buy something which has the form inside the package, or you have to mail in a UPC. I've always assumed that “no purchase necessary” doesn't always mean that, though I can't prove it since I've never looked in to it. lol. Google the term if you're bored. I am, but I'm having a ball watching penny auctions because people are amusing (yes, you can get a $2K item for $3.74 but after 1034 bids that cost $.60 each it's not as good of a deal). Tangent, my apologies.

    • Jenmar30

I can't find coupon for 2.50 off little snugglers or little movers? Is there a specific zip code?

      • Christie

I'd love to know the answer to this one too! I have plenty of Q's for the Pure & Natural diapers, but there are only 20 in a size 5 pack. I'd rather have the $2.50 Q for the Little Movers.

      • Christie

Looks like the $2.50 Q is gone. : ( Hopefully I'll have enough +Ups after all of this to be able to snag another pack of cheap diapers.

      • Jenmar30

I haven’t been able to find that coupons for a few months now. Every time its listed I try to find it but can’t. I do like the Pure and Natural Diapers but the packs are smaller. I do not like the snug and dry diapers. They are too paper like and don’t stretch as well.. Just my opinion.

      • Jenmar30

there is a $3 Renpure hair product VV coupon- at my store all of the products have a “try this free” hang tag on the actual product where you mail it in with your receipt and get the full $6.99 back. check out your store for a possible money maker!

      • Susan

Be careful with the Try me free tags–the ones in my store were expired.

      • Bryarsmom

The Renpure I tried was a HORRIBLE shampoo. Made my hair frizzy and fly-away :(

        • 3monkeysmom

I didn't like it either. It made my hair limp and oily :(

    • help with the suave deal. I have Google the item. went to the suave site and signed up for the email coupons. But have yet to receive them. I have tried other sites and all are having the same problem of not loading. if you see a site please post site. thank you,

      • Mary

I went to suave.com scrolled until I found the body wash, clicked on it,a form came up, filled it out and was able to print a 50 cent coupon twice. Good luck it was driving me crazy until I found it. Boy what couponing will do to you!

      • DianaY19

I googled “printable coupon suave bodywash 2010” and it came up with a website for dealseekingmom. found the suave deal, clicked on her link, signed up, then it sent me straight to print coupon. Hope this helps.

    • Kerenjs

I can't find the huggie coupon on rite aids adperks…and I haven't watched it yet for October…anybody know what is going on??

      • julies

        it is under pull ups

      • Guest

It is listed under pullups, but the coupon is valid for diapers as well.

    • CHAULEO3

what is the $128 Inside Clip & Save booklet (Rite Aid coupon) where do i find it? thanks

      • ChrissyPunkin

I believe you have to get a flu shot to get it.

    • ladybugbob1029

Thank you Jenny for annotating which sales are only in the long ad!! i appreciate you SO much!

I live in a short ad area and the ad doesn't come in my Sunday paper, so I am often stuck at the store with a planned scenario that includes sales from the long ad that I can't use. My store claims they have no idea how to print +Ups for items I want from the long ad. Anyway – thanks again!! :-)

    • lunes

How do I get the $128 Inside Clip and Save booklet? Is it in the store somewhere, or can I sign up for it online?

      • Trish

I went into my Rite Aid's pharmacy and just asked for a booklet. A couple hours later, my friend did the same. I recommend calling the Rite Aid you plan on going to first, though since some around here do not have them. It's called the clip and save coupon booklet. If the front doesn't know what you are talking about when you call, ask for the pharmacy

      • Pisces021302

The clip and save booklets are found by the cashier area. Just ask for it. Some cashiers would automatically put one in your shopping bag and give you another one if you request. By the way, this is the RA store nearest to my place (South Jersey). In one RA store I had shopped, I was told I have to have a flu shot before the pharmacy could give me that coupon booklet. Hmmn, since then I rarely go to that particular store.

    • newbie

Hi everyone, it's the newbie here.

One question about Nivea lip balm. I thought we only can get one!? Am I right or wrong

      • meme

Are you referring to a coupon for the Nivea lip balm or a purchase of the lip balm at Rite Aid?

If the coupon, you can print two of most coupons by hitting your back button or by going back into the link from Jenny's post and print another.

If you are referring to purchasing the item from in the sale with the UP reward, then you can purchase more than one by doing more than one transaction. The computer should print one for each transaction. Watch the post, because sometimes there are multiple UP's printing on certain items, even in the same transaction. Hope that helps.

      • Sandy

I don't think there are limits on any of the Up Rewards this week. In the past, the ad would say “Limit 1 per household”, but it seems like your free to get as many as you want this week.

    • ChrissyPunkin

      On an unrelated note:

I recently converted to the binder system for my couponing, and I found the coolest binder pages in the photo album section at Walmart. They have three openings to a page with one horizontal and two vertical. They are nice quality, too, which was surprising for Walmart. :-)

Can't wait for my Rite Aid trip this week. I might even get a flu shot there, since I need one anyway, so that I can get that coupon book.

    • Alyssa

I just pulled my Sunday Paper out of the mailbox and there is no coupon for the Schick Hydro Razor! I am bummed because I planned my whole trip tomorrow around that :(

      • Mlsshartz

        Same here :(

      • Mnlong01

        Mine did not either!

      • Not in Greenville News. Also did not get SS GM insert.

        • That is strange. I bought my Greenville News papers from the Wal*Mart in Simpsonville and got a SS GM in each of my 4…

          • I have always had problems with getting all the inserts in the Clinton, SC area. I only buy one now, because my husband likes to read it.

            • You very likely are getting the “state edition” (as they call it), and it RARELY has coupons in it. I found that out the hard way when I used to subscribe. When I moved to Spartanburg county, I started getting the state edition, and it NEVER had coupons in it. After 3 weeks of trying to get the problem solved, and eventually being told that there was nothing they could do about it, I canceled my subscription. Their excuse was getting the papers out by 7am, but I would have been happy to get them by noon if they came WITH coupons… *shakes head*

    • meme

I learned something from your post – I hadn't noticed Jenny was pointing out items on the short list versus the long list. Thanks for bringing that to our attention.

About printing out the UP's – the store cannot print out the UP's, but they can take that amount off your next transaction. That is how my store honors the long ad sales. It may be to your advantage to get those deals first and do something from the short ad after these transactions so that the UP's can be applied. Then the items from the short ad will print automatically. Is there clear as mud?

      • meme

this message was in reply to ladybugbob. sorry it got out of sequence somehow.

    • meme

I would like to hear some comments on those shopping at Sav-A-Lot stores. Ae their prices good (even though they haven't gotten the coupon thing going like RA)?

I recently noticed a new sign for Sav-A-Lot at the Lakeside Shopping Center in Anderson, SC. I hope they don't close down the RA located near there.

      • ChrissyPunkin

I don't understand the whole Save-A-Lot/Rite Aid thing. I thought Save-A-Lot was like Aldi. If that's true, then lucky you! If you don't mind a no-frills store and generic items, you can literally save a lot. :-)

        • lyndsey

I just went into the RiteAid on Stone Ave in Greenville SC, and they are in the process of converting into a Sav A Lot combo store. It looks to me like a Dollar General and it looked like a major downgrade from RiteAid. No more photo center, cheesy bright red walls, grocery store checkout counters, etc..

      • Dharvn

our savealot here is a grocery store. weird combo.

    • BrendaA

Exactly where in the store is the inside clip & save booklet? I have looked for it twice now in my Asheville, NC store and can't seem to find it and the sales clerk didn't know what I was talking about.

      • biskit0323

It is supposed to be given to you when you get a flu shot. But, at my store they had them laying with the weekly ad. Some people on here have said b4 that they asked at their stores about it and it was then just given to them. HTH.

      • Thecouponpops

Got mine in the pharmacy section. Definately recommend asking because I don't think they necessarily put them out. Not sure why.

    • Guest

Does anyone know why the $5 off $25 coupon pdf link was removed? The coupon does not expire until the end of the month. Hopefully, the coupon was okay to use, because I used a couple of them.

      • binky

it is still posted on iheartriteaid (dot) com on the right side of the page! HTH

      • pfsinnh

it's still posted on “forthemommas” website. Just printed one.

    • Roman1

Redbook has $2.00 off Tide Liquid that expires 10-31-10 for Oct. Issue.

    • Michelle

I bought three false lashes at my rite aid, two at $4.19 and one at $2.08 (B1G1 50% off) but it did not print my up rewards! According to riteaid.com my store was supposed to be one running this deal. Should I return them all and ask if I can get my UP rewards if I buy them again or should I just take back the one I wouldn’t have bought if they limit wasn’t $10?

    • Thecouponpops

Columbia, SC State Newspaper inserters: Is the Hydro Razor in SS? Can't find it! Thanks.

      • Nancybgood14

Raleigh Observer did not have the Secound SS. But when I went to the wholecoupninserts.com they had the hydo listed under GM products insert. I orders some. But if you buy the package deal it comes out to be 2.22 a insert. is there a cheeper place to get the whole inserts that have the Good Q in them. I Go to BAM and usually get 2 papers for 3.60 But did not have the third insert in them. what do you think???

      • Alyssa

I couldn't find it either…. and some other people said the same thing :(

      • Dharvn

        no nivea cpns either :(

      • Laura

Oooo… I might copy your transaction! Those are all things I need, so it would work great for me! Thanks for the scenario!

        • sww

i was hoping someone else would be able to use it…i don't have kids so i always try to find a good way to get all of the goodies without the diapers:) happy shopping everyone!

    • Alyssa

I just got back from my local Riteaid in Columbia SC and I left a little annoyed! I had a 2.00Up from a crest purchase a few weeks ago that expires next weekend and when they went to ring it through the computer said multiple card numbers… What does that mean? I told the woman I only have one RiteAid card… she called the Assistant Manager over and the lady said she couldn't take it…. Why I have no idea?? She said maybe it was because I did that transaction more times than I could… Or because I tried to use it with another UP from the same product (because I did it twice) But I said if they give them to me I should be able to use them!!! Has anyone ever had this happen to them before? I'm calling Corporate

      • Aminehdestin

Your only option at that point is to call customer service. I don't think they have the glitch in the system fixed that once it's scanned, even if it's denied, it won't go through the next time you try to use it. My store figures that if you have the reward, you earned it, whether there was a limit or not, it printed, so it's yours to use. If you use it, we keep it. So we commonly force it to go through. I've never seen the “multiple card numbers” reason though. That suggests that the reward was earned on a different card but you said you only have one. I'm even confused. Let CS know what it said and see what they have to say. Good luck.

      • julies

I have 2 cards and interchange my up's amongst my cards with absolutely no problems and my cashiers have never gotten that error.

      • Laura

They refused to use one of my UP last week. I just called the Rite Aid number and they said they'd send me a new one. Sounds like your Rite Aid handled it better then the one I went to. Mine wouldn't go through since the computer said it had already been used. The cashier called over a manager who told me that I obviously used it before and must have stolen it back from them :O When I told her I had never used it before, she told me I was lying and that I stole from them. And they refused to bag up my purchase because I was lying to them. UGH! If they hadn't have already scanned all of my other UP coupons already I would have just told them to void the whole transaction and I would have gone to a different Rite Aid. I'm never going back to that Rite Aid again!

        • Val

What a horrible experience! I hope you called the customer service number and filed a complaint.

        • Llawson3

          Which Rite Aid?

          • Laura

In North Charlotte on WT Harris and Mallard Creek.

      • Vwbug215

They refused one of mine last week too, saying it had already been used (but of course I never used it, or I wouldn't have it in hand). I called 800-riteaid and the are mailing a new one out for me no problem. I know its really frustrating but at least coporate will handle it for you. Although my list of cashiers to avoid has now increased.. haha

      • Alyssa

Thanks for all the input and comments! I am going to call tomorrow… I'm sure they will help me.

    • robbie

      where are the huggies coupons?

    • Mlsshartz

Rite Aid rocks. I just got $91.66 worth of stuff for $4.43 (which the $4.43 was mostly tax). And I'm still walking away with $4.99 in Up+. Couldn't be happier :)

      • I did great as well even though I couldn’t get the Suave or Huggie coupon. I listed my transaction here http://www.cleverlysimple.com/2010/10/my-trip-to-rite-aid-this-week-103-109.html

        Love love love Rite Aid!

      • Nosy

        WOW! What did you buy?

        • Mlsshartz

It was a busy day with the in-laws moving to town. So this is my first free moment. I did two transaction…

          Trans #1

          (2) Crest w/ scope toothpaste @ $2.69 ea.

          (2) Sauve Bodywash @ 2/$4

          (2)Nivea Lip Care @ $2.99ea.

          (3)Starbucks 12oz Coffee @75% off = $2.38 ea. (cheaper then the Folgers)

          (1)Celestal Seasonings Tea @75% off =.92

(2)Chicken of the Sea Salmon Pouch @75% off = .39ea.

          (1) Fall Harvest leaves @ 50% off = .99

          Used:

          -$5/25

          -$1.00 Crest q

          -$.50 Crest q

          -$2.00 vv (Sauve)

          -(2) $.50 Sauve q

          -$2/2 Nivea Lip q

          -$1.50 Starbucks q

          -$11.00 Up+

          oop $1.80(tax included) got back $10.36 Up+

          Trans #2

          (2) Poise liners @ 2/$10 (for my mother-in-law)

          (1) K-Y Yours & Mine @ $14.99 (for me..hahaha)

          (2) bath sponges @ $1.99ea. (wow looking at this order is making me laugh)

          Used:

          -$5/$25

          -$2.00 Poise vv

          -(2) $2.00 Poise q

          -$5.00 KY vv

          -$5.00 KY q

          -$7.37 Up+

Payed $2.63 got $2up and still had $2.99 Up from Trans #1

So I left the store paying $4.43oop and $4.99Up+ in my pocket ;)

          • Brooke

Maybe it's just me, but I count any UP's that I use as payment. So if I walked in with $11 UP and walked out with $4.99, then I lost $6. But you can't beat the prices either way on all the stuff you can get, especially when you really need it.

            • Mlsshartz

Not for me. I guess it's because the first time I starting shopping at Rite Aid (which was only a couple of weeks ago) I did the J&J special. Spent $12.24 oop and got $26 Up+. Which allowed me later to get 6 packs of Huggies for just over the price of one. The Poise above also have a $2 rebate, so I never consider anything a loss.

          • Dharvn

funny! i guess the coffee will replace the cigarette needed afterwards..LOL!

i got 4 bags of the starbucks coffee at my store saturday, i was so excited!!

    • Kathy

On one of my Rite Aid trips, I had two transactions because I wanted to use two of my $5/$25 coupns. I received some UPR's from the first one and the cashier asked if I'd like to use them on the second transaction. I don't ever do that because it holds up the line and I always know that I'll be back the next week to use them. Anyway, when she tried to scan one of the UPR's she'd just given me…it said I'd used it before!!! She said that had been happening some and just did something to override it. So far my Rite Aid stores have both been very nice here in Middle Georgia. Now RiteAid corporate…that's another story. They were two of the rudest people I've ever spoken to.

      • Fallaya

That has happened to me before. I'm not sure why it does that.

      • Aminehdestin

I've worked one Sunday morning since the +UP rewards started (I normally close every Sunday) and it happened all morning long. That or they were beeping expired, even though they were just printed and the date did print 2+ weeks out. Sunday is just a weird day for ups I've determined.

    • Carol

I totally love this site, and I appreciate SO MUCH all the work Jenny puts into this. She has helped me save so much money. BUT, right now I am so frustrated…for Jenny's scenario, I would need to have two subscriptions to All You. Yay, free diapers at Rite Aid, oh wait…never mind, I only have ONE subscription to All You. This keeps happening…am I supposed to put out more money to have multiple newspapers and magazine subscriptions so I have all the coupons she has?????

      • glammyyams

sometimes you just have to wait until you have the ad in your ad to write out a few scenarios for yourself. sometimes i start by just writing down the things that really interest me and see how i can incorporate them into a deal.

another couponer names “sww” has a pretty nice scenario worked out just a few posts down from here……it does not include diapers and i think all the coupons in that scenario are easier to get (video values/printables). hope it helps you out! don't get defeated or overwhelmed-been there done that-not much fun :(

        • glammyyams

oops meant to say “have the ad in your HAND”. sorry.

      • gardengirl

Carol, I go to walmart and look at the q's that are in the all you. I determine if the q's that I would use are more than the price of the magazine and I also determine how many copies I would use and then I buy that amount. For the newspapers, I buy one copy, look at the q's (varies by region) and then determine if I should buy more copies. I create a list of the q's that Jenny posts and take it with me to the store when I buy my newspaper so I can tell if the inserts are missing alot of the q's I would use. I do all this because I live 45 minutes from the closest newspaper ( I live on a farm) but I also have access to 4 different newspapers (depending on which city I drive to) so sometimes I actually drive to a couple of cities if the first newspaper doesn't have many of the q's Jenny lists. I hope this helps you determine if you need to buy multiply issues.

      • Sb

Instead of getting “free diapers” you're getting diapers for $2 (the cost of the coupon you don't have). No need to get frustrated.

I usually make my own scenarios, but if I like one of Jenny's and don't have a coupon for an item she list I substitute it with an item I do have coupons for and will cost very little oop. (So, substitute the plugins with an item around $5 that you have coupons for)

It will take a little more work on your part, but to me it's worth it. I get stuff that I actually want.

      • Mommy2B

I hear you, since Im trying to stock up on diapers for my baby due in january, ive also been finding great coupons on ebay.. just have to use all your available resources, because I dont get the paper every time and cant always get coupons to print. hang in there!

    • not got time

i dont no how u think u get stuff free when u go to the web site u say pint this well u just get the page u r on if it work please tell me how because i have a job and aint got 12 hrs to look a a stupid pc so now exsplane

    • GJZ

Please can you tell me where to get the “Clip and Save” booklet.s I have asked at two different Rite Aids and they don't know what I am talking about. Is it available in the stores like Walgreen's booklet, or sent to you?

      • Susan

At pharmacy–supposed to be for getting a flu shot there. However, some stores will give it to you without the shot.

        • Fallaya

I got an email saying they are available with the purchase of a flu shot, but it also said that “no purchase necessary”. When I go tomorrow, I'll ask at the pharmacy if I can have a coupon booklet.

          • Johnandleah

Take a copy of the email.. rite aids around here are giving a hard time about that..although according to customer service at the 1800 number they are supposed to give you one without a flu shot if you ask.

      • jennifer

Mine has them in store by the paper just like Walgreens.

      • Islandboybpb

Originally the stores got them assuming they were not giving flu shots so they were handing them out. Most stores are now going to be doing flu shots this year with a Maxxim Nurse onsite so they are suppose to keep them locked up until then. However, if you go in you may get lucky and someone will give you one.

      • Livnlol

Call all the stores near you and connect to the pharmacy. Then ask them. I was asking the cashiers in the front and they were telling people they hadn't seen any while the pharmacy was handing them out. By the time I figured it out my store had ran out. I went to 3 other pharmacys to find one.

        • GJZ

Thanks so much. I did try at the pharmacy at one store and they also did not know what I was talking about. I will try others. Fortunately I am in Atlanta and can easily reach 4 stores.

    • Jill Ramsey78

I normall love Rite Aid, but have left there utterly frustrated for 2 weeks now. Is anyone else having trouble. I went into the store today, and the following items that are listed here, were not on sale in my store:

      1. Dixie Plates

      2. Wet Ones

      3. Tilex

      4. Clorox Wipes

      5. Softsoap

      6. Schick Razor

When I received my newspaper ad this morning, I did not see them listed on the Rite Aid add either. This has happened 2 weeks in a row – is there any other sales add these items are coming from that I'm unaware of?

      • Fallaya

You may be in the “short ad” area.

        • Jill Ramsey78

I took a couple of the items to the register and had her scan and check and she said they were not on sale. It's frustrating when you spend so much time sorting through the ads, getting the coorsponding coupons, figuring out whick transacations to buy things to get the best deal…then when you get there and see that several of the items aren't on sale. Are the sales store specific?

          • Sandy

If you read the top of this age Jenny points out that:

Deals with ** are only in the long ad.

She also states that your store might price match. Rite Aid often has between 2 and 3 different ads for their Rite Aid stores. You should always check your local ad before going out.

            • Sandy

I meant page obviously not age :)

            • kiley

I ahve always been told that the sales are allowed to vary by region, but when they got ours wrong–the two stores were in the same region. That was the weird part. You should not be able to go 10 minutes down the road and the sales be different…..so frustrating and not consistent. And this is just a recent problem we have had with them.

            • Jill Ramsey78

Thanks everyone. I guess I did not realize that was a long or short ad, and I'm still not sure which one my store accepts. I am glad to know there is a difference and I am just not crazy! I have been buying from Rite Aid for several months now, and never had any prolems until 2 weeks ago. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Thanks!

      • Johnandleah

        @Jill
I am in N Alabama and our Rite Aid ad is different from both the long and short ad listed here. I've found so far that the +ups that aren't listed in my ad are printing anyway..but the item may not be on sale for the same price. I don't see the items you've listed here in my Rite Aid ad for this week either.

      • Islandboybpb

All you need to do is take the AD into the store and they are should match the prices for you. Yes the plus up rewards will print (they should have it fixed to print in all the stores for customers that have the long AD). In the next month or so, all the stores are suppose to be on one AD only to make it easier on everyone.

      • Phillis

I feel your pain! Same thing happened to me today. Had all my coupons ready to go, but some of the items I wanted for my deal were either not on sale or the price was different. I hate that Rite Aid has two sales, long ad and short ad. Someone mentioned that they may be changing to one ad…I sure hope so and soon!

        • Mandamaern

In the next 2 weeks all Rite Aid's will be using the same long add. Thank goodness!!

      • Kiley

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago when they had several items on the free single check rebates. Out of 7 items that should have been on sale, only two were. I asked the cashier to price check for me to make sure it was not an oversight..she said the price was right. I said, “That is so weird, I know they are listed as on sale on your website, but no biggie, I will just check with the other store when I go into town tomorrow. ” I was polite but she looked at me and said, I wouldn't waste the gas, our sales our always the same so you must be confused. I was shocked and my jaw dropped. I went to the other store the next day, they were all on the correct sale, so I took back an ad and dropped it off at my local store. I politely told the same cashier that I was right and they should check their sales. I never lost my temper but it did make me smile.

      • Katolli

Did you ask them to do a price check? I have had the same issue with things not being marked with the sale price. However, when they do a price check, the sale price rings up.

      CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP?

How would you handle a manager that complains to you that “RA doesn't make money on store coupons”? I'm referring to the $5/$25 coupons and the VV coupons. I feel as if they are insinuating that I'm COSTING the store money when I use those coupons. If they didn't want us to use the coupons, then why make them available??

      • Laura

I would just tell them that if they have a problem with the coupons then I'll go to a different Rite Aid that will gladly take my business. If they think they're loosing money now, wait until no one is shopping there anymore.

      • ChrissyPunkin

The manufacturer pays for those coupons. Just look at the fine print. I agree with Laura that you should go to a different one, because if you ever have a problem you can bet they won't be helpful. I'll bet customer service would love to hear about a manager who is trying to turn away your business. Good luck, and don't get discouraged. Rite Aid has the best deals and rewards. :-)

      • Aminehdestin

Email customer service about it. Ask them directly if each type of coupon is paid back to the store, so the next time you see the manager, you can pull out a printed email directly from the higher ups explaining it. The $5/$25 coupons don't get paid back b/c they are specifically store coupons (start with “48”) but they're put out to get people in the store and to spend more money in one transaction. If that's the only store coupon you're using, that's still $20 minimum coming in to that store. VV coupons are Rite Aid/Manufacturer coupons (from what I understand, which is why they start with “49”) and those are treated as kind of a cross between a sale and a coupon, same as ad coupons, they're put out specifically for RA customers as a promotional thing, rather than a “coupon” but saying they cost the store money would be like saying that buying something on sale costs money. Promotions are run for a reason. I could be wrong, but based on everything I know, that's what I gather from my info.

      • mouser6

I would tell them to take it up with their corporate offices and tell them their complaint and if they (the manager) takes it up with you again you would more than gladly tell corporate on their behalf and use their name, position, store “, date and location that your conversation took place. Then keep on using those coupons because Rite Aid wants you to. As a consumer it is not your responsibility to not use coupons offered by a company because you are concerned you are costing them money. It was also very unprofessional of that manager to even speak that way to you.

    • Edavis51907

Also, I have a card with rite aid and have not gotten ANY Up Rewards. Anyone else having that issue?

      • Laura

If you're buying the the correct items, and the correct amount, there is no reason why your Wellness+ card shouldn't be printing Ups. I'd give Rite Aid customer service a call if I were you.

      • Andrea

At my store, they told me they have to scan the card first before ringing up any purchases. Having said that, I had this problem last week and they refunded and re-rang everything and it worked the second time.

    • Reba

I love hearing about successful transactions if anyone wants to share what purchases they've made this week!! :) Thanks

    • Candcwiles

Does anyone know why my Sept issue of all you does not have the glade coupons in it.

      • Fallaya

From what I've been told, the mags you receive in the mail are missing some of the coupons from the mags you buy directly from Wal Mart.

      • I get mine in the mail and I didn't get the glade coupons. I got some glade coupons but not the $2 off as listed above.

    • Cinderelligirl

Does Rite Aid take other store coupons? Do they double .50? Do they have a coupon store booklet?

      • Aminehdestin

Most won't take other store coupons b/c it's against policy. We also don't double coupons but occasionally there is a part of the ad that is simply coupons and they are actually tripled, but it is rare. If you mean a store booklet like a coupon book, the answer is not normally, but you will randomly find one at the register, and right now we have a “Clip and Save” book that you can get in the pharmacy in a lot of stores when you get a flu shot. Some are giving them out to people when they ask. regularly when we have special coupon flyers they are by he ad or at the registers.

    • Cinderelligirl

Does anyone know why the $4/2 Huggies Little Movers or Snugglers Diapers printable link does not take me to that coupon is there a different zip code i need? thanks

      • Sandy

        Its gone

    • Lsmith3377

The Rite Aid sales paper I have only has $1 +up for the Nivia lip care listed, not $1.99. My Rite Aid is a “value” store, which I think is the short ad, but not sure. The Zegerid/Miralax is not listed in my sales paper at all.

      • Dharvn

        mine ad reads as follows:

        2.99 you pay

-1.00 less manf cpn in MOST sunday papers

        -1.99 +UP reward

        ——-

FREE it's like getting it for free.

    • Angelareid821

If anyone has a Schick Hydro Razor coupon they can part with, let me know! Will be more than willing to trade for something you may need! The State, Columbia, SC didn't have it. Husband wants it!! :)

      • Amy

Ah, I was wondering about that. I get the State too. So disappointed they don't have this coupon!

      • Dharvn

i'm in columbia too. i ordered a couple from thecouponclippers website along with some nivea lip balm cpns.

      • Kim

Yes, order it online. It doesn't cost much and it is worth it with big dollar coupons like these.

    • Guest

Is anyone else having trouble with the video values site? I cannot get it to load anything and it keeps saying the video I selected isn't available??

      • Lauren

Yes! I can't get it to load any of the videos. I'm no help but to say that you are not the only one having trouble.

        • Ponderinjack

I kept trying it in Firefox and they wouldn't play. I switched to internet explorer and they played fine.

    • Christy

Hi everyone! Thanks Jenny for all your work! Quick question to all, am I missing something? The math for senerio #1 is not adding up to be $1.47 as she has posted, am I looking at this wrong?

      • Sandy

        A $5/25 was also used

        • Donna

Oh, so I'm not losing my mind – I was wondering about that too! lol Thanks, Sandy!

    • Rebecca

*Heads up on expired +UPs.* I went into Rite Aid today and had a $10 UP Reward to use. I did not realize it had expired on Saturday, until the cashier scanned it and it beeped! She said there was no way for them to take expired ones. I know I have used ECBs from CVS and RR from Walgreens with no problem and I am so sad to have lost $10 from Rite Aid and disappointed that they will not honor expired UPs (even if it expired just 2 days ago) :( Any one else have better luck??

      • Amy

Nope; I had one that had expired the previous day and they told me it wasn't usable either. I've had a few that expired before I had a chance to use them.

        • Donna

No help on the ones you have expired already, but I can tell you a quick organizing tip that might help you keep a closer eye on them for the future.

I have a bulletin board set up by my computer & I've tacked envelopes to the very bottom part of the corkboard (with the envelope open, so the ECB's go right into the open pocket of the envelope). I have one envelope for CVS & one for Rite Aid.

Right above that, I have my calendar tacked to the bulletin board too – it's a separate calendar from the main one I use for events & normal schedule stuff – I keep this calendar just for important things I don't want to expire (the ECB's are just one example).

As I get the ECB's or +UP, I write Rite Aid or CVS plus the $ amount on the calendar on the DATE THEY'LL EXPIRE so I can at a quick glance look at the calendar and remember that I need to use them before that date. Then I just tuck them into the appropriate envelope and have them handy for the next shopping trip.

May not be the best solution, but it works for me & maybe it'll help someone or at least inspire another solution! :)

          • Erin

Thanks for the tip Donna :)

          • phillipskr

Awesome tip! I think I'll try this!
I think when hubs and I buy a new house I want a separate “couponing” room just for myself! I swear sometimes I feel like the house is being overrun by my coupon stuff! :)

            • I know the feeling! My dining room (other than the table) has become a couponing room. I need to de-clutter it. I like these ideas on here!

          • Donna

Glad to help! I forgot to mention too that once I use an ECB or +UP, I mark through it on the calendar to make sure I don't think I still have that one available! Done that before! lol

          • Cccshopper

Good idea, but I take mine with me at all times! I keep them in my change purse & think of them as “cash”. I use these 1st to pay down my order, then the debit card LAST. I take any that I get back & wrap them around my store card so that I HAVE to see them to get to my loyalty card at check out. This has been working great for me, and even my hubby keeps up with them this way!!! Perhaps he wouldn't so well if it wasn't brown…better steer clear of pink LOL.

      • Christy

No, I wish. This is happened to me twice now! I totally know how you feel, it is so sad.

      • Diane

I have had no luck on expired RRs, either. Some CVS's won't take expired ECBs, but all the ones near my house will. I have a 10.00 and a 12.00 that expired from the crest whitening sale awhile ago. I still have the products, and I'm going to take them back (with the expired UPs. I guess they'll take them back, right?

      • Joydale72800

CVS won't take expired ECB from me, but I email customer service and when I scan my card at the machine a new ECB prints with a later expiration date. Wonder if RA will reissue…..

    • WJones87

Has anyone had any success finding the Glade deal in the long ad? My area is a short ad area, but even the ad for zip 30003 doesn't have it that I can see. Can anyone help?

      • Aminehdestin

It's in my ad, on page 10, but yet typing the zip code in on the website, page 10 is a wellness ad or something and the “block” the glade is in isn't there at all. So I don't know if you're going to find it on the site on any zip code. BUT if you go to iheartriteaid(dot)com she has the scans that do include the sale, so if your store will accept that print out, just print the individual page and take that with you. Good luck.

    • mc

Love the Zegerid and Miralax deal! My family uses both. Then turned around and did this with the $10 UP:

Ziploc bags 3.99 (I know, but really needed them)

      Toothpaste 2.69

      Nivea Lip 2.99

      Children's Clairitin 10.99

      Razor 5.99

      Used $10 UPS

Paid taxes and got back $6.68 in UPS –

      Loving RA!

    • cb

Went into cvs with family tonight there was a bucket of nivea lip for 99 cents. rang up for 2.99 went and showed cashier and he nicley changed it and bought one for himself too. My teenager loved it!!!!!!

      • Kb

where did you get the b1g1 candy bar qs?

        • It was in RP 9/26, IF your newspaper had it in there. It was regional. My Greenville, SC paper did NOT have it, but the insert from Nebraska that my mom sent me did.

      • Bryarsmom

Glad you found the Tresseme-my store didn't have em-gonna try a location on the way home today & roll some more Ups!

        GREAT JOB Loretta!

    • Jess

Does anyone know if the Cottonelle and the Glade are printing multiple ups?

    • Just wanted to let everyone in Greenville,SC that our local Rite aids are all in the midst of closing and selling oof inventory, and/or construction – they are joining with SAve-a-lot I was going to get the diaper deal – Hudson corners was all 50% off -everything in the store already a little picked over, so then today went to wade hampton store in the midst of construction and will soon carry groceries but now has a bunch of make-up at 2$ a peice – cover girl, loreal etc..The worker there told me the one on batesville rd is also %50 and they have a ton of inventory to sell, so when I get a chance I am going to go look there – he said that the %50 off stores, don't execpt riteaid coupons but still accept man. coupons. any one find a great deal? let me know!

    • Beth

I cannot find the printable Aleve coupon. Any suggestions?

    • the coupons that printout for watching ads are they store or manf coupons…

      • Erin

They are store. Manufacturer always start with a 5 or a 9.

    • mrsmadayar

I've been couponing at Publix for about a year now but I'm new to doing it a Rite Aid. I was wondering if anyone in Prattville or Millbrook could tell me if our local Rite Aids will honor the long ad sales if you print them & bring them in. Half the stuff I want this week isn't listed on the ad I got in the mail.

      • ChrissyPunkin

I'm in Montgomery but I haven't tried that yet. The good news is, they are supposedly going to be sending the long ad to everyone in the next few weeks.

    • Bryarsmom

Has anyone done the eacy Vicks Vaporizer deal yet? I did at lunch today-smoooooooth sailing all the way!

Got the vap, 3 Crest & 2 Nivea Lip Care

Used all my Q's-including the VV $5. Vicks.

Total before tax was .23 cents!!!!

I got back over $14. Ups!

      • phillipskr

Awesome! Could you share which coupons specifically you used on the Vicks stuff? TIA

    • Debbye

Guys, be sure to check the Clearance Section! (Mine is at the back corner of the store – 3 endcaps.) They have tons of hair products – Garnier, Pantene, Marc Anthony, etc. I paired the Garnier with the $1/1 VV coupon and got gel for 12 cents. I had some $2/2 Pantene coupons and got spray gel, hairspray, shampoo, and conditioner for 24 cents each. Marc Anthony curl boosting spray was marked down to $1.99 and there is a $3/1 VV coupon. Definitely stocked up on some great hair products!!

      • Anezkalynne

My riteaid has some nice picture frames on clearance too.

    • $avin'some$

so this week i have made several trips and accumulated 2 oralb toothbrushes and 18 tubes of crest for $9.89 (with tax!) and have four $2.69+ups left! ***I started out with 4 .75 MQs and two $1 RA Qs. i'm good on toothpaste for a while!

    • Brittany

I have signed my husband up for the video coupons. Can I take this coupon in and use with my Wellness Card(I've already used my video coupon for this particular item) or does he need to have his own card to use this coupon? Thanks for the help!!

      • Jwilson1

I did the same thing with signing my husband up too, and was wondering that too. I don't want to be denied when I get up to the cash register because I have already used a particular coupon with my account. I would also love to know the answer to this one.

        • julies

I use both my UP's and my VV's on any and all cards I have with NO problems. I do not believe they are tied at all.

          • Brandi92279

same here…I use several VV coupons from friends who don't need theirs on one transaction with my wellness card. For example, I bought 4 packs of huggies and used 4 different VV coupons with man. q's in one transaction with no problem.

            • Rosie413

I'll add my experience: Today I used three Shick video values coupons (from my, my husband's, and mother's accounts) on my Wellness card in one transaction, and didn't have a problem. It could depend on how your cashier feels that day, however.

      • Phillis

You must use his wellness card with his VV coupons. All VV are tied to a specific card now. You can however key his receipts into your account for SCR's. So far this has worked for me. I tried to use my vv with my husbands wellness card one day and sure enough it beeped at the register. When RA changed their policy on VV coupons, I think I tried everything to see what works and what doesn't. Even UPS are beeping if you try to use one earned on one card for purchases on a different card.

    • Sheri

I can't get the $2 off coupon that is a Rite Aid store coupon to come up for Huggies diapers. Any ideas? Is it gone? Thanks!

      • Brittany

Click on any random video. At the bottom it will have categories to choose between, click on baby care and it's the only one listed. It says pull ups but when you print it it is all Huggies.

    • Cktwirlermom

Very new at this. I printed out my Rite Aid shopping list. How do I get the printable coupons. When I clicked on printable after printing out my list it told me I had already printed this coupon out. I don't see it anywhere on my shopping list.

      • Sandy

You have to print the coupons separately. It's possible that coupon is gone and no longer available. You can search the message boards to see if anyone talks about the specific coupon you are searching for, or post what coupon you are looking for and maybe someone can help you find it.

    • Sandrath72

Does anyone know if the $128.00 clip and save is only in certain area? The one here, Reidsville, NC did not know anything about that at all. Thanks!

      • millie

i asked at mine in alabama and they told me they only have them in georgia….boo;(

      • Mammogramma

I wrote to Riteaid about this and this was their response.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. The coupon booklet that I am
aware of, is the one that is handed out to those who get their flu shot at
Rite Aid. The coupon booklets are at the Pharmacy, for them to give out.

    • Prncssbride

I noticed that there are not any SCR in the ad this week. Are they fazing this out?

      • Prncssbride

Never mind. The +UP rewards with the rebates threw me off. However, I do notice that the list for SCR is getting quite smaller.

        • toni

Not really. Just look at the next two weeks. Tons of free after SCR stuff.

    • 3greatkids

Do you have to wait till the end of the month to get your +UP Rewards or are they printed on the bottom like CVS ECB?

      • Sandrath72

They do print out at the end of the receipt but do not let them expire because they will not let you use them after that date.

    • Nonamckenzie

Yesterday was my first rite aid couponing experience and it was awesome! I got $57 worth of mdse for $22, plus I have $2 UP rewards. I bought 3 packs of huggies, one liquid tide, and one downy dryer sheets. One of the huggies was open a tad so I also got $6 off those! I will be going to rite aid often!

    • Angie74

Ok so, I'm still new to Rite Aid but I have one big question? When you do the UP Deals that state $4 up rewards when you buy $15.00 of XXX(whatever) and you use coupons for those items, have your rewards printed? I tried this about a month ago on the P&G deal where you spend $50 and get back $15 in rewards. My $15 UP rewards did not print, when I called customer service they said I had to spend $50 after coupons and that since I had used coupons, I had not spend the full $50. So I tried to return everything and they said they would not give back any of my coupons, that once scanned there was no way to use them again. I was just completely furstrated and not sure what to do at that point. Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem.

As far as the other deals when you just buy one item (or a certain # of items) then no problems, rewards print regardless of coupons. And I know with CVS, your total is always before coupons, so what's going on with Rite Aid???

      • NCSaver

It is before coupons – I rolled the P&G deal last week 5 times and barely spent $20 for all of it. You have to be careful when you are choosing products to get the deal you are looking for. Once time it said Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner so I picked up the beautiful lengths S and C but it did not fit the requirements to get the Up coupon. So they returned all my items and then ran it back thru with the correct type shampoo and conditioner (just a plain pantene). Crazy enough the BL I had oringally picked out was more expensive than the plain ones so I got money back after she rerang it up. So most likely you thought you had the right products as I thought I did. Once I ran it thru with the plain pantene the deal worked fine. I paid with coupons and Ups and very little out of pockets and still got the Up that I was going for. HTH!

    • Jamietricesmith

Please tell me what SCR is?

      • Jenny has a list of things about Rite Aid on the top right had side of the screen.
But it is like a mail in rebate kindof. You have to sign up for it on the Rite Aid website. Its actually a really good program. Hope this helps out.

    • Coupons090

where can i get the suave .50 coupon the link doesnt work for me

      • Still not working today. At all.

      • Laura

Their is also a .50 off one when you go to their website. It says its for the Mango body wash but when it prints out its for any body wash.

    • mabell4tn

Every time I try to use both a Rite Aid coupon and a regular coupon as describe in the scenarios, my Rite Aid says that they are both “manufacturer” coupons and that I can only use 1. Does anyone else have this problem?

      • You should print the Rita Aid coupon policy and take it with you so you can show them that you can use both. And maybe even call customer service so they can set them straight :)
Jenny has the new policy on the site to print out.

        • mabell4tn

Thank you so much. I printed out the policy to take with me tomorrow. I really appreciate your help

          • Karol

if they give you any problems just call customer service and they'll take care of it. That's what I had to do with one of my stores. they wouldn't take a b1g1 coupon on a b1g1 sale but after I talk to customer service they sent out e-mails to ALL the stores letting them know to that they do take those coupons!

    • Susan

Has anyone tried buying the Ester-C in Jenny's list? It is listed at B1G1 in her list but did not ring up that way in my store and I am in the long ad area. When I looked at the long ad on the Rite Aid website, I did not see Ester-C anywhere in the whole ad…Maybe this has already come up but I'm trying to decide whether to return the 2 boxes I bought or not. Thanks-

Wasn't in my ad and no sign in the store, so I marked that one off my list.

      • Val

It is on the wrap around

        • Susan

Thank you…didn't have a wraparound on my ad. I am in the Atlanta area.

      • Jenny doesn't have it listed, but there was another $2 coupon in the SS 10/3 that came out in the Greenville, SC paper.

    • Bustasave

For 2 additional Ester-C coupons ($1 off) go to the Ester-C website: http://www.ester-c.com and sign up to get their emails. You’ll have to puch the “back” button on your browswer to print the coupon the second time. Also, you can sign up to get a free package of gummi Ester-Cs.

Christi, the Huggies Rite Aid coupon says Goodnights, but when you click on it, you see it works for any Huggies. Hope that helps! :-)

      • There was a $2 coupon off ANY Ester-C item in the Greenville News, SS 10/3. Just to let people know if you only have one All-You subscription.

    • Shortstack1977

How do you find out what is going to be on sale next week? Someone mentioned that there are goingt ot be a lot of SCR deals next week, Where do you find that info??

      • Jaybird

In the rebate book it shows all of the items that are available for the month. There will be tons of item that will be FREE. I'm stocking up on my up rewards so I can get them. I like FREE !!!

        • Nonamckenzie

          what are SCR deals?

          • Mommy2B

the single check rebates.. the checks that you get in the mail.. different from the UP+ (which are the coupons that print on the receipt).. for the scr you have to enter in receipt info after your purchase on the website.

      • Courtney

You can also check out iheartriteaid-they have the sales ads for the next few weeks!!

    • Fallaya

My local RA is starting to scan the coupons after each item is scanned, with the $5/$25 coupon being scanned LAST (not first). This is really messing up my scenarios. Anyone else having this problem at their local store?

      • Val

Next time you go in you should politely tell them that you will be using coupons, but would like to use your $5/25 first. If they refuse pull out the Rite Aid coupon policy: It states that the coupon can be used if a total purchase equals or exceeds $25 (before ANY coupons are applied).

If you have any other problems call 1800riteaid. Their customer service department is great when it comes to these issues!

        • Fallaya

          Thank you for the suggestions!

      • Aminehdestin

Sometimes when we see a transaction could potentially go below tax, we'll set the $5/$25 aside and scan it last, but not to say that you can't use it if your total isn't above $25 still. As for scanning the coupons after each item, just don't give them the coupons yet so that you can point out for sure that you have over $25. Unless they can tell that your total is over it after scanning the coupons, but normally you can't b/c the subtotal doesn't take in to account BOGO sales and stuff like that. If they're doing it just to not take the total purchase coupon, I agree with Val, take the policy with you and try that.

        • Fallaya

Thanks for the suggestions! When I go in there tomorrow, I'll just politely say, “Oh I hope I'm purchasing enough to use this $5/$25 coupon!” Then after she scans everything, I'll hand her the coupon, then my other coupons.

          • Nonamckenzie

this is what i did. after she rang up all my items, i gave her the $5 off. then, after she scanned it, i gave her my other coupons. my cashier was great. even offered to re-ring my items to i could use my UP's then. i told her it was ok because i have another use for them soon.

      • cassia2

One of my local stores does this. The problem is that the $5/$25 coupon actually affects the tax charged. I tried to explain this to the cashier and she thought I was talking about the coupon covering tax. But the coupon actually acts as a sales price so it takes off $5+tax on the $5 (in my case 6% so $5.30). So if the cashier holds it until the end then adjusts it to cover everything but tax… they actually end up charging you more tax then you should be charged anyway.

FREE SKITTLES (Actually money maker)– So I love skittles and I wanted to use my $1 off 2 printables… so I saw Rite Aid had then for $4 for 2 bag after UPRs.. so I bought 4 bags and then 4 UPRs printed out in addition to the ones I was supposed to get. The UPRs said for the purchase of “CLUB CHOC” so I assume someone keyed in the Skittles with the Club Chocolate candy packages…. anyway the math works out to be:

      $5 / 2 bags of Skittles
-$1 UPRs when you buy 2 bags (these are the UPRs that I expected to print)
-$4 UPRs mystery UPRs for “Club Choc”
      -$1 Printable Coupon $1 off 2 bags

TOTAL- FREE + $1 overage when you buy 2 bags

      • Fallaya

So you paid $4 for the candy, but got back 5 UPR's?

        • Holden

          Yes lol

I went back today and cleaned the place out haha

It works on all the candy that is 2 for $5 (then you get 3 UPRs back – $1 $2 $2) — worked on swedish fish, starburst, sour patch kids, tootsie pops, charm blo-pops, on and on… I bought $25 worth of candy used a $5 off $25 coupon and get paid to take the candy away! The limit on the normal $1 UPRs that are supposed to print seems to be around 6. So go load up on free halloween candy!

          • HC

Where are you located? I tried the same scenario this morning, and I only got the $1 UPs for every two bags purchased.

    • kjmiller

Was anyone successful using both the -$2 off Schick Hydro (Rite Aid video value coupon) and the $4 off Schick Hydro razor, SS 10/3 together to buy one razor? My cashier wouldn't let me because the value of the coupons together ($6.00) exceeded the sale price ($5.99). She said that (i.e. overage, I guess) wasn't allowed. Ended up just using the $4 off, but I was hoping for free.. :(

      • Aminehdestin

We're not allowed to give overage, but she should have modified one of the coupons down, likely the VV, a penny so that you got the razor for free. Print the coupon policy, it's in there and keep it just in case it happens again.

        • kjmiller

I suggested that but she replied that would be “coupon fraud”. But I will do as you suggest in the future. Thanks for your help!!

    • christie

I don't see the huggies store coupon???? is this old?? Why am I not seeing… I really need this deal!

      • ChrissyPunkin

It's under Pull-ups. The coupon is good for Pull-ups or diapers. Click on the “baby care” category.

        • newbie

where is this on the web site? I can't find it.

          • Anonymous

Go to riteaid.com and click on “Video Values.” There is a mini picture of a computer screen right on the main page. When you get there, you have to eventually set up an account so that you can get credit for watching them. When you are ready to print some out, click on “my rewards” at the top. HTH

      • Christinia S. Smith

        thanks guys!!!! i found it!!!!!!!

    • Kaarak

      Here is my scenario!

      4 crest toothpaste @ 2.69
      1 Listerine @ 3.99
      12 pack cottonelle tissue @ 6.99
      2 Clorox wipes 4.00

Total before tax and coupons – $25.74

      Coupons applied
4 x $1 off Crest Reg or Pro Health for Me toothpaste, 4.2 oz +, PG 9/26
$1 off Listerine (I had printed this from coupons.com about month ago)
50/1 Cottonelle Toilet Paper, 4 pk + PRINTABLE
      2 x $0.40/1 Clorox Wipes
      $5 off $25 Rite Aid
$7 UP rewards from previous purchase

      Total OOP before tax $7.44

Got back $14.76 in UP rewards

I plan to do a second transaction today

      1 Listerine – 3.99
      12 pack Cottonelle – 6.99
      2 Tilex – 4.00
      2 OB 3d vivid toothbrush – 5.38
      2 glade candles – 5.00

      Total before tax $25.36

      Coupons to apply

      $0.50 off Listerine
      $0.50 off Cottonelle
      $1.00 x 2 off Tilex
      B1G1 glade candles
      $14.77 in UP rewards

Total -10 cents. I might have to buy a cheap item to take it over the coupon value if they don’t reduce one of the coupons. All items, basically free and $10.38 in UP rewards.

    • Sebnjulie

OMG, what happend to the 5 off 25 VV coupons on the rite aid site??? they are gone!!

      • Val

Called CS and they aren't going to be available until further notice. Got no other information besides that. It's a total bummer. I hope it wasn't because people were abusing the system and setting up Video Value Accounts for their husband, dog, tv repair man, etc. so they could get multiple $5/25s. Kindof crazy to me that they did it right in the middle of the month too. Why not wait until November?

        • Fallaya

I bet they are going to “reword” the fine print saying that it must be $25 AFTER all coupons are deducted. Rite Aid used to be my favorite drug store…not much anymore.

          • pfsinnh

I don't think so. I think if anything, they will make their system more similar to CVS's system…one 5/25 per card per week…or something like that.

        • pfsinnh

Yes, I think it is because of abuse and I also think it is because of the Freebies week that is coming up. The 5/25 combined with the freebies are going to give huge money maker scenarios which wouldn't be good for the company I'm afraid.

          • Fallaya

Thankfully I've already printed the two I'll be needed for Sunday. Those two coupons, combined with a $10 RA gift card and about 20 +UP rewards will equal a really nice money-maker week!!!

        • Wow. So grateful that I printed mine already. I wonder if they will still scan, though? I would indeed be sad if these were gone for good.

    • Angie

Since I always get screwed when I try to do the rewards at all the drugstores (usually a key item is out of stock and it throws off my whole plan or I put to much stock in the lists on here and planned for something that wasn’t actually on sale), I just decided to look at Jenny’s list and get what I actually needed. What I really needed was diapers. So I went and watched a Godawful amount of videos and received a $4/$20, $2 off huggies and $2 off Schick razor. I also had 2 $2.50 off huggies and $4 off schick. I bought 2 huggies at $8 each and a razor for hubby @ $6 for a total of $22. Minus my coupons, the total came to a little over $5. Saved more than I usually do with less aggravation because I didn’t mess with playing the rewards system. To a lot of you, it’s worth it, but to me it’s not since I’m paying for stuff I normally wouldn’t ever buy/use–even if it is only a few cents. If you have a way that I could have bought those two packs of diapers for less money using +UP, I’d be glad to hear it.BTW, if anyone needs more than just the two 2.50 off little movers/snugglers huggies from the coupons.com site, go to http://slickdeals.net/?sdtid=2156492&sdop=1&sdfid=10&u2=http://www.huggies.com/en-US/promotions/coupons. The little snugglers coupon is actually a coupon for snugglers OR movers.

    • Asuber

Where do you find the “Stay Prepared, Stay Healthy” and “The Flu is Ready” Booklets so you can use the coupons for items that are listed on your post?

    • sww

if you haven't already, check out “Holden”'s post below. found this to be a VERY pleasant surprise when i went to rite aid today. bought two blow pop bags (2/$5) and two jolly rancher bags (2/$5). the advertised UPs is $1 wyb 2, which i got two of. BUT i also got a $2 UP for each BAG purchased, making them free! ($1, $2, $2 for every 2 bags you buy!)

      • Vwbug215

I did the same but with swedish fish 14 oz bag and Sour Patch kids 14 oz bag (which are 2 for 5). I bought 3 bags of each and use the $4 off 6 bags of swedish fish/sour patch kids from the 8/8 SS. Got $15 UP's back( 6 $2's and 3 $1's), so this was a money maker!

    • mouser6

Am I the only one who thought the KY was an awesome deal. Added on the free razor and I think it was the first time my husband did not roll his eyes at me. Instead I got a big grin! Thanks Jenny. :) :) :)

    • Chrissykellycorne

I'm new here, can somebody please explain UP rewards, what they are and how to use them?

      • Klynn

It's a coupon that prints on the bottom of your receipt. You get it for buy something and can use it on anything off your next purchase. It does expire. so make sure you use it before the date printed.

      • If you scroll all the way up on this post, to the middle-right of the page it will say “Rite Aid Links”. Click on “Rite Aid Getting Started Guide”. That has just about anything you could want to know all in one place.

        • Johnandleah

I tried this morning, and they printed the extra $2 +ups, but my cashier took it upon herself to rip them off and keep them. She said that I didn't buy “Club Choc” so I couldn't have the +ups.
There were several people in line or I would have argued with her.. I still may call the 1800#..

          • Holy crap! Cashiers have no right to do that! DEFINITELY report her to 1-800-Rite-Aid. Her cashier number is on your receipt.

And thanks for letting me know (if it was intentional). I was planning on doing this, but when I saw they didn't print for someone today, I wondered. I have great cashiers that are HAPPY to see what kind of deals I get, and they would never DREAM of doing that. I'm flabbergasted.

          • Val

I hope that they not only give you your Ups but a gift card too! What she did was soo not cool.

          • Johnandleah

Well I did call corporate.. they told me the +ups were printing in error.. she verified with me that I did receive the +ups that were advertised (which I did.. I had bought some nivea lip balm also) and that was it. She even mentioned something about having the stores send the “club Choc” +ups to corporate, which later made me wonder if these will go through when you use them to pay in future transactions.

          • Guest36

I'm glad I didn't take advantage of the error. I knew there was something not quite right about it. I walked past the candy aisle, and almost grabbed a couple of bags of Skittles, but for some reason, I couldn't bring myself to do it. I believe in saving money, but not by taking advantage of an error.

    • $avin'some$

LOL! OMG- It's a rrrrreally good thing I got so much free toothpaste from RA this week…I'm going to need it after the 30 big bags of free candy I got there this week too! The candy is a great money-maker if you print the $5/$25 Qs and especially so if you have the $4 Swedish Fish/sourpatch MF Qs (which I did)! << *happy dance**>>

      • $avin'some$

This is now a dead deal apparantly

        • Susan

Yep. It worked for me this morning. Went again tonight and only got the $1 UPs. Don't try it expecting more than is advertised.

          • I did the deal as late as 3pm Friday. We couldn't figure what was going on, since the Club bags had a $1 UP reward, not $2, so it wasn't printing that one by mistake. It was an entirely different UP reward mentioned no where in the ad. *shakes head* We all (the employees and I) just figured that maybe Rite Aid was going to start having a “Mystery” UP reward each week, and you just had to take your chances in finding it. Now, it looks like it was an error all together. Hmm. *shrugs* Sometimes the kinks are in the stores favor, sometimes in the customers.

    • Becky

Am I the only one that can't find the Nivea lipcare coupon in 10/3's RP?

    • WynetteC

Okay, one quick question. My UPs printed off last night with an exp. date of 10/23. Is that right? The ones from over a week ago had that same exp date. How often do they give UPs with a new/different exp. date?

      • I believe that Ups expire two weeks after that sale period ends. Any Ups received during this sale would expire on 10/23, two weeks from Saturday.

        • WynetteC

Oh okay. That makes a little more sense. Thanks! :)

    • riley1319

A FYI, the Centrum SCR #57 is specifically for Centrum Women's and Women's Silver products. I purchased the Centrum Men's 100ct. and it was denied. I'd read the specifics but took the chance anyways.
