These deals start Sunday at Rite Aid. It’s a great week! Starting this week you will get +UP rewards that print on your receipt when you buy certain products. These are just like CVS Extracare bucks and can be spent on most anything in the store. You can even use them to by the same items again. They are each a limit of 1 per transaction though so don’t buy multiples of the same deal in the same transaction.

    • mmikebel

On the secret the coupon for -$2 OFF says for clinical strength or soothing effects, the ad says fresh effects, scent expressions, flawless or sheer mineral. so my question is can you this coupon?

      • If you click next it goes to the actual web page. Down at the bottom it has a button to click. I got mine that way. HTH!!!

        • sorry wrong person I replied to. :)

      • If you click next it goes to the actual web page. Down at the bottom it has a button to click. I got mine that way. HTH!!!

      • toni

I don't think you can use that coupon.

    • Jessica Ammons

I tried to print the Blinks Eye Drops, but it says I've already printed my max, even tough I knew I've never printed any….just a head's up, I probably won't be the only one…..

      • If you click next it goes to the actual web page. Down at the bottom there is a button for the coupon. I got mine!! HTH!!

        • Jessica Ammons

awesome that worked! thanks so much!

    • Robin

In the 3 scenarios – how do you get 3 of the $5 off $25 coupons?

      • coupondiva02

There are two different $5 off $25 coupons listed under the video savings. Just watch each of these and you'll have the two of them. One is listed as pharmacy but it states “Non-Prescription Purchase When you watch the Rx Services Video”
        Hope this helps!

    • coupondiva02

There's also a $1.00 Reach coupon in the 5/16 RP from the AJC.

    • Beau

Does the UP reward replace the SCR noted in all the “Deals”? If a SCR is noted would you recieve a UP reward? I never shop at Rite Aid because I didn't care for their SCR system but the new UP system may change my prespective.

      • rachel

I'd also like to know–how does UP work? do we need to register and get a wee card to add to the collection of wee cards? lol!

        • Teri

My understanding is that you do need to get their new wellness card to get the UP deals. It tracks things like the CVS card does and it prints out your reward at the register. I don't think it is replacing the SCR's, it's just something extra.

          • Susan

TOO MANY PROGRAMS GOING ON AT RITE AID!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not that I don't appreciate the deals, but I think my brain is going to explode!

            • Heather

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks this too !!!!!! Whew!!! I break out into a sweat just trying to figure out how many programs are running on the 1 particular item I am buying! lol :) the deals are great, I agree, but you really do have to remember to keep all of your ducks in a row, or the deal won't be so great afterall!! haha Also, my cashiers actually only ask me for my wellness card about half the time I'm there……..the other half I'm too busy handing over coupons and picking the ones I dropped off the floor to even remember to give it to them !! :) haha

            • Sandra

Yes, loooooots of details to remember. I get that at CVS too though, with the Bag Tag, ECBS COupons and Gift Cards from Rx’s…nice tho ;)

          • ScottK

You're right, this is a wellness+ card deal, unfortunately I was told eventually even SCR will only work if you had your card scanned too.

However, +UP bucks are unlimited (as of now) unlike cvs! So on really good deals, you can get more than 1!

        • AKellyinVA

lol That made me laugh. Yes, we now have a wee card from Rite Aid and Walgreens in order to get the sale prices. :) And my understanding is that SCRs and +UP Rewards are different. +UP prints at the bottom of your receipt. The SCRs must be registered and received via snail mail just like always. I, however, haven't seen where you can find out which items have the +UP rewards to print on your receipt. I guess we'll see that in this week's ad?? which Jenny's seen already. hth

    • Christy

How long dos it usually take to get SCR's and rite aid voulchers from them? I submited my recipt to get my pack of free huggies last week. Just wondered how long it will take?

      • Marina115

        mine usually take 2-4 weeks.

      • Tobys_Mom

At the end of the month after you have entered all of your receipts, you will request your SCR. It usually take a week or 2 after that before you get the check. Usually with rebates like the huggies one, your voucher is automatically sent to you (you dont have to go in and request it) after the receipt is verified. Hope this helps!

    • Robin

Physicians Formula – cant find $1 coupon in SS in either day 4/18 or 5/23 – in atlanta area

      • munckin74

I couldn't find them in mine either, and I'm on the southside. I thought it was strange how they were listed in the coupon inserts for those weeks. I lucked out and found peelies on the Physicians Formulas that I purchased. There were several products with peelies at my Rite Aid. Some were only a buck, but some were $4 off!

    • coupondiva02

I can't figure out where to find the $3 off coupon for John Frieda listed as making it .99 Has anyone found this?

      • Marina115

6/06 means it will be coming out this sunday.

    • coupondiva02

I have another question – on the Old Spice deal – can do the following:
      Buy
      2 Old Spice Deodorant
      2 Old Spice Body Wash
      Use
      B1G1 Deodorant
$1 off 2 Deodorant coupon (from P&G year of savings booklet)
      B1G1 Body Wash (RP 4/18)
$1 off 2 Body Wash coupon (from P&G year of savings booklet)
So money wise it would be:
      4 x $4 each = $16
      -$4
      -$1
      -$4
      -$1
      =$6
And then just do the rest of transaction #1
I hate getting there and not being allowed to use coupons I'm planning to use.
      Advice/ help would be appreciated.

      • Susan

Won't work–with the B1G1 coupon on the deo., you are only paying for one, so you can't take $1 off of 2. Same with the body wash….you should just use the 2 B1G1 coupons.

      • Brooke

Use your 2 B1G1 and a $1/2 Deo OR Body wash from PG 5/2 or 6/6. $1/2 applies to the 2 free ones.

    • ScottK

Finally an exciting week at rite aid…I can work two transactions into both being MONEY MAKERS!

      • Fallaya

Me too! I've figured out how to make $19! Last week I made $19…I really need the extra money.

        • Brooke

Can you tell us what you're going do? It's always so interesting to see what people come up with.

          • ScottK

I don't have the 2nd (and maybe 3rd) transaction totally planned yet because it's going to vary on what clearance food (75% off) they have left when I get there, but for my main transaction:

            Blink Eye Drops 7.99
            Reach Dental Floss 3.99
            Fusion Pro Glide Razor 9.99

            those 3 with tax = 23.28

add 1 post clearance cereal $1.12 and one other odd clearance food for about 50 cents and total is $25.

            Then use
            $5 off $25 making it 20
$5 off fusion razor (from in pack coupon after i buy 1 at CVS and use $4 coupon from paper there) making it $15
            $1 coupon on reach
            $1.50 coupon on blink

            total = 12.50

then rebates from my 3 main products is $15.99 making $3.49 profit!

            • Christa

Several times I have used the $5 off $25 coupon on transactions that are a little under $25. I haven't quite figured it out yet, maybe it has to be $25 AFTER tax. I have used it with a subtotal of about $23.50.

            • Susan

Actually, those 5 off 25 coupons never beep—as do none of the RA (begin with RC) coupons. Once, I had figured my total completely wrong (maybe something rang up on clearance I wasn't expecting), and my cashier wasn't paying attention, and later I noticed my 5 off 25 went through for MUCH less than $25.

            • Susan

Oh, and this was weird–once my cashier missed scanning one of my coupons he had already slid in the drawer, and, instead of calling a manager to unlock the drawer, he went over and grabbed a sales ad and scanned a coupon in it for the same amount but for some totally random item I wasn't even buying. It all evened out but was very strange.

            • Christa

              very interesting!

            • ScottK

Yeah, I have noticed that because once I forgot to take a coupon out of my stack because they didn't have the item I intended and they scanned it and I quickly realized so they could correct it, but I always just try to get my total with tax over $25 and there's never been a problem.

            • dee

I just bought a Pro Fusion at CVS and it didn't have a coupon in it. Did yours?

            • Sandra

No, I’m not sure who found that but I think it is pretty much false. Don’t count on getting one.

    • Fallaya

Can someone explain the +Up Rewards? For example, if you buy 3 of the Duracell batteries, you get a coupon for $3 +Up…does that mean it's a $3 coupon to use for anything in the store? Or is it just to use towards the purchase of a Duracell product? I'm confused…

      • ScottK

anything. it's just like extra bucks, only different name, different store.

    • stephanie

can anyone explain what “SCR” means?!?

      • Patty

It is a rebate system. It is Single Check Refund. There is a booklet by the weekly ads in the store. Some items are available for the rebate all month others are only for a specific week. You set up your account on their website then as you buy the items you login and enter the info reqested off the receipt. At the end of the time period which is always within the last week of the month and you have entered all receipts you have, you request your refund. It comes in about 4-6 weeks. You can track the procress of the refund on your account.

Can you connect your rite aid card with upromise yet? Jenny has a upromise coupon listed. I contacted them a couple of weeks ago and they said that rite aid was not a partner.

      • Jennyfur

I checked earlier today – not yet.

    • peytonsmom

How many times can I do the same SCR? Like if I get $50 in the participating proctor and gamble products will I get $10?

      • Susan

Most SCR's are one per househol. Look at the fine print in the rebate booklet under each entry or online through your SCR account.

    • my favorite thing about Rite Aid is cheap diapers. I love it! Here’s what I’ll be doing this week at Rite Aid.

      • MooseJNB

There is also a coupon in the P&G Saver for $2 off pampers wipes making the wipes only 49 cents!!! Sweet!! :)

      • There is also a deal through next week (the 13th I think) that if you buy three Huggies, you get a $11.99 UP+ reward. These add up, so scan your wellness card each time and after you buy your third one (they don't have to all be in one transaction) it will print a $11.99 up reward. :)

      • Isisedenia

If you’re still going to do this, buy the Mega Pack instead. The VV won’t work b/c it’s for the Jumbo pack, but the Mega packs are 50% off making them $8.99 instead of the $11.99 JP!

    • Jen

Just a general question… Does anyone on this blog shop at the Rite-Aid in Powdersville, SC (off of 153)? By far the most rude people you'll ever meet. They are not coupon friendly and their workers/managers are absolute nazies. Needless to say, I will NEVER shop there again. I hope they go under.

      • javaonline

Hey! I sometimes shop that store. I wouldn't say I ever get great customer service but it is “okay” at best. Unfortunately, the one on Hwy 123 in Easley is not much better. But sometimes I shop the one about 5 minutes away from the Powdersville store on Hwy 25 near the library. Their employees are always very friendly. Sorry you've had such bad experience!!

      • If you've had a bad experience or 2, feel free to complain to their corporate. See if it makes them any nicer.

      • Cindy

The ones in North Georgia aren't any better. Always rude, not coupon friendly, and usually don't have most of the sale items. I've given up on them…

    • Anonymous

There is a $2 off Blink Tears printable q on redplum.com.

    • Sonya D

If you buy the Wahl clipper kit, don’t forget the $5 rebate here – http://consumer.wahl.com/images/uploads/Clipper%20Rebate.pdf

      • Kaseyshadow

Thank you! That means I paid $4.99 for the Clippers.

      • Melissa

Thanks! Just in time – needed these

    • No John Frieda coupons in my paper today – now I need to do some rethinking!! Don't you hate when that happens!

      • ET

Did you check your SS insert? The reason I am asking is that I did my CVS plan first, and the John Freida coupon is listed on there as being in today's RP insert. I panicked, thinking my area didn't get the coupon and my whole plan was going to be out of whack, but then I checked my SS and it was in there.

    • MooseJNB

Found a good deal if anyone uses Lubiderm Lotion. Rite Aid has a $3 off coupon in their flyer and then coupons.com has a manufacturers coupon for $2 off…making the $7.99 lotion only $2.99 plus tax. Enjoy!! I am really new to clipping coupons so any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks…and happy couponing. :)

    • MomOf34and2

      Hi everyone,

A friend of mine referred me to this site. I've just planned my first trip to cvs and rite aid. Does anyone know what time this site puts the target and kroger ad/coupon match-ups online? All 4 of these stores are within a quarter of a mile of each other and I was hoping to go to all of them this morning. I have the target and kroger ad but I'm lost without a shopping list that tells me what coupons I need.

    • MomOf34and2

sorry! I forgot to ask or do you know a site that already has these ads posted?

      Thx!!

      • toni

        go to iheartriteaid

    • Kelley

      Can I do this??

Buy 2 Old spice deoderants and 2 Old spice body washes

      use:
      (2) Buy 1 Old spice body wash or deoderant get one Old spice body wash or deoderant free and

      (1) Buy 2 Old spice body wash or deoderant and get a free Old spice body spray free?????

      • Susan

Yes, you can–I just did that same thing this afternoon.

        • Sandra

So $2 scr and pay for 2 of those (not the spray) so $8-2=$6? The problem I had was the red zone were the ones with the SCR and they were less in general. The coupon is for Fresh COllection which is 2/8 I think.

    • Jerry

Two of the Rite Aids near me told me that I can only use the $5 off $25 if my total AFTER other coupons is still over $25. Are they correct?
Luckily, there are 4 Rite Aids that are convenient for me: 2 near my home, 1 near my job, and 1 on the way to work. So, I can vary them in case one is out of something.

      • ScottK

No that's not right. If your total is over $25 you can use $5 off first, then your other coupons.

      • Fallaya

It depends on which store you visit. The one closest to me will process the $5/$25 coupon FIRST, whereas the one a couple of miles down the road will process the $5/$25 coupon LAST.

      • Jerry, no, that's not correct. In their corporate coupon policy, it states any money off coupons, like the $5/20, are to be used first before any other coupons. If you can't find a copy of the policy, feel free to email me and I'll be happy to send it to you. (click my name to get to my blog, and my email addy is there.)

      • Euqinu1

I want to thank all of you for your help. I’m going to try to find the policy, and print it out.

      • Sandra

OMG I had the same thing at 2 different rite aids, I know you scan them b4 and the other ones did, but I didn’t have it in writing and they were all like ‘nope’ ‘nope’…ugh, lost $5 there.. the first one called the manager over which I was going to suggest and it was more of a mess up than him correcting her, the second one I didn’t ask because I had so many coupons ($5 off each Phys Form item) I didn’t want to risk the manager saying, well actually you can’t use all those – because I had coupons on ‘free’ items (they were bogo). So I let it go. crappy, but still a great deal. I need that policy. THey would still call a manger though I bet.

    • Mon

Bought the 3 for 15 batteries, one of the battery packs had a proctor and gamble coupon booklet with a 1.00 Duracell coupon inside

      • javaonline

Sorry – meant to send this as a reply to Jen!

    • Charlotte

Is anyone else having a problem printing coupons from these list that have the address of brick.coupon.com . It keeps telling me I have printed my limit. BUT I HAVE NOT!

    • Sonia

Just an FYI- Check the Duracell battery packets.

The Rite Aid I went to I was able get packets that $1.00 off peelers on them. As a result,I was able to use 3 of those so I got an additional $3 off for all the batteries. One of the packets I pulled off had an additional $15 off coupon inside for duracell items. Great price for batteries!!

    • Judy

My Rite Aid will only except one $5 of $25 coupon per person .They said I tried to commit coupon fraud by using more even in separate purchases. Also they will only except one $5 coupon and 1 $1 coupon on the physician formula ” Because it is by one get one free and the item can not drop below zero”

      • Fallaya

That is precisely why I don't do more than ONE transaction per day. Besides the fact that it holds up the line for other customers, the cashiers seem to get annoyed with processing so many coupons at once. My cashiers, assistant managers and the store manager see my daughter and me all the time, and I don't want to be known as the annoying coupon lady! I usually do 2 transactions per WEEK.

        • It always depends on the cashier. Most of them don’t mind you doing more than 1 transaction, as long as you head to the end of the line between them. (I like to bring my sister, and send her outside with the bag of purchased merchandise, too.)

And whoever won’t take more than 1 $5/25 per person is an idiot – there are multiple ways to get them – 2 video rewards coupons, 1 “thank you for joining wellness rewards” and sometimes in the red plum/SS/coupons.com printables. If you could only get one, RA wouldn’t offer you 2 in one video rewards month.

        • Sandra

HAHA! I do that to. No coupon lady for me..sigh..but it will probably come. Maybe I will just be the less crazy coupon lady. That and I try my hardest to be nice about policy and things ;)

      • Amanda

I had the same scenario involving the BOGO and the coupons. It is in their coupon policy that they can take the coupons as you were giving it to them. Nothing is dropping below zero anyway. The manufacturers give them their money!
        http://dealseekingmom.com/rite-aid-official-corporate-coupon-policy/
        Print and take with you!

    • Terri

Is the Secret Clinical Strength really $4? I sae that on Jenny's post, but not in the ad. Can anyone verify this?

      • Susan

        Think that's a mistake

        • Michelle

It is a mistake – they are $9.99

    • Elizabeth

I went to rite aid this morning, and it was great. I did 5 transactions. I got 5 papers, so I still have more coupons to use on the old spice, but each of my transactions were like this:

      tran 1
      old spice body wash
      old spice deodorant
      old spice body spray
      6 oz. lubriderm

      b1g1 body wash/deodorant
      b2 body wash/deodorant g1 body spray
      $1 off lubriderm manu
$3 off lubriderm rite aid coupon

total approx $3.50 + tax, get back $4 in UP rewards

      trans 2-5
      tran 1
      old spice body wash
      old spice deodorant
      old spice body spray
      6 oz. lubriderm
      .69 filler item

      b1g1 body wash/deodorant
      b2 body wash/deodorant g1 body spray
      $1 off lubriderm manu
$3 off lubriderm rite aid coupon
      $4 ups reward

      .19 + tax, got $4 ups reward

      • diane

I'm confused. Did you get 2 body washes and 2 deodorants and 1 spray and 1 lubriderm? How did it only cost 3.50 the first time? I must be slow today!

    • ScottK

The rite aid i went to was already out of eye drops (A $2 automatic money maker) but I shifted my transactions (3) to still come out on top and I got more than I planned for! I believe my final earnings was +$18 or so and I got the razor, skin care, john freida or whoever, 6 things of body wash, clean and clear, clearance food, and more!

      • Fallaya

My RA was also out of the eye drops (GRRRRR!!). I'll try another RA tomorrow. I did manage to walk away in $11 is SCR's.

I saw some J&J baby care items 50% off, and combined with one of those $1 off coupons, that could be quite a deal! I also saw peelies on the Lamisil cream…I'll go back too.

        • Next time you're in, ask when they get their truck. Sure bet to have them on the day of delivery.

          • ScottK

Yeah their truck is this wednesday, I already know the schedule ;) haha

            • Susan

Our Rite Aid stores are only getting their truck every other week now due to the economy and gas prices. This started a few weeks ago right outside Atlanta. You may want to ask your store.

            • ScottK

yeah they do every other week and have been that way for about a year…it's kinda ridiculous because they run out a lot.

    • Rachel

Does any one know the price of the Lubiderm lotion?

    • Sandy

This is a good week to buy the Olay Regenerist Skin care products. SCR#555
Purchase $25 for a $10 RA GC or Purchase $50 for a $25.00 GC PLUS with Wellness card addtl $5.00 GC. Pair with SCR #101 Valid 6/6-6/12 only- buy $25 in P & G (Olay included) products and get free $5.00 RA GC. *Rebate based on actual pice paid AFTER ANY & ALL COUPONS ARE USED! ****** Plus you have (2) $20.00 MIR Olay rebates on Olay web site when you purchase $50 worth of Olay products, one is valid 4/9 to 6/30 – othervalid 6/4 to 7/2.

Aveeno also has $20.00 MIR when you buy any Ageless Vitality product by 7/15 which you can use for SCR#555 to match up with $10.00 or $25.00 RA SCR.

Limit 1 SCR#555 so you can't do both.

      • Susan

Rebate is actually whatever you paid BEFORE coupons. It always says that but is never true. And, I did the coppertone deal for this particular SCR last week. I paid next to nothing and still qualified for the rebate–it's already cleared in my SCR account.

        • Tiffany

If it says BEFORE ANY AND ALL COUPONS then that's the policy, just a computer glitch that people are still getting the rebate. They won't be able to continue doing rebates like that when people don't follow the rules. Let's not get greedy here…

          • lacey

It's not a computer glitch. They always say that. It was the same for the allergy rebates and many others. It's not being greedy. Clearly Rite Aid just needs to better their wording so it's more clear to their customers.

            • Tiffany

How do they need to better their wording? It says “spend $50 after any and all coupons.” What is confusing about that? Just because you still get the rebate after you use coupons doesn't mean people should still do it. That's in line with sending in 2 olay rebates and having them sent to 2 different addresses, which is fraud. Jenny- What are your thoughts?

            • Cindyrella2

Tiffany, what do you propose that people should do then? Do you think we should keep purchasing products for the rebate even AFTER Rite Aid has qualified us, or should we call Rite Aid and tell them, “Hey, I didn't spend that much after coupons, so subtract that from my check.” ?
I simply enter all my receipts and let Rite Aid's system figure which rebates I qualify for. (part of what I LOVE about SCR's!) There have been times that I purchased something I didn't even realize had a SCR offer and was pleasantly surprised when I entered it into the system.

          • Susan

No greedy here—just been rebating for a long time and understand the SCR program.

          • Tiffany

Meant to put AFTER coupons, but you get the point.

          • Sandra

IT IS NOT GREEDY. I get frustrated by people who don't stop and think about how coupons work and just assume the worst in people. It says something about their character. The store gets reimbursed for the amount of the coupon. So it is as if the customer paid it. In fact, they get reimbursed 8c for each coupon too. And the stores decide to accept them, it is nor required by law. The company voluntarily puts these coupons out and they make money doing so because people buy and try their products. It is called marketing and the company makes money, the store makes money, and the customers who work hard to sort out these combinations get great deals. Simple as that.

        • Sandy

          Hey Susan,
I read that on a few different sites that it's working before coupons but played it safe
just in case they catch on and make adjustments before SCR June ends.

          • Susan

No problem…but just know that I've been doing SCR's since you had to mail in your receipts (no online entering) and it has ALWAYS been the price you paid before coupons. Plus, once I entered my receipts a few days ago, this particular rebate has it's own “request my rebate” button….so it immediately qualified me (despite the low out-of-pocket, and I requested my check for it….so there's no catching anything on their end. If playing it safe works for you, go for it. Just don't be wary in the future when it has similar wording. They have no way of telling what coupons you used in a transaction went with each item you purchased. (You could have had tons of coupons but for things that weren't even going towards the skincare items.)

      • Mindy

Is this MIR different from the ProX rebate? I already did the ProX but just bought three more Olay Regenerist Skin products because it's a great deal. Even better if I can submit another $20 rebate.

    • lee

This looks like a money maker to me!! There is also a coupon for a Free Old Spice Spray wyb (2) Old Spice Body Wash or Red Zone Deodorant PG 6/06. Wonder if I could get this spray free too. I'm getting 3 bodywash, but already using 2 B1G bodywash/deodorant free. Anyone know if this would work??

      • Susan

I used it yesterday when I bought 2 bodywashes, 2 deo., and 1 body spray—used coupons: B1G1 bodywash, 2 buy bodywash, get a deo. (making both deo. free), and got the free spray when you bought 2 bodywash.

        • kate

          Sweet…Thank you!

        • Sandra

So you paid for one item got another free for buying the first, then got the third item free for 'getting' the first two? I was told at Wags I couldn't do that…she scanned them and explained it to me…I'm not sure what came up on her screen tho…

          • kate

No, I paid for 2 bodywash and got bodywash, doedorant and bodyspray for free with my 3 coupons. But I also had a $1/2 bodywash, so I even saved a little on the 2 that I did pay for. Plus, I got the $4 up rewards for purchasing those 2 items.

    • Glenda

Is there a certain zip code for the clean and clear coupon?

      • Try 28226 – that’s mine and I get it.

Or try cvs.com, I think its offered there as well

    • I just got an amazing deal! did the BOGO + $1 off on old spice body wash = $4 UP. Traded in 2 prescriptions for $50 in GCs. Had to go to another Rite Aid where I got the $59.99 pool (they were out at the one near me) and used the GCs, the $4UP, and $5 off $25. I paid only the sales tax on the pool!

      • coupondiva02

How did you “trade in two prescriptions for $50 in GCs”? Is this a coupon somewhere? I have two prescriptions I need to renew this week or next so this sounds great.

        • it was in Sunday's paper. I Rx hop. I know it's a “bad idea” but gift cards are gift cards!

          • Erin

How's it a bad idea? Mrs. Jenny herself RX hops as well.

            • Susan

Pharmacy people will tell you that you need to keep all your prescriptions in one place so the pharmacists can check for drug interactions. I, however, go for the “green,” too.

            • I work in the pharmacy, and I agree that the pharmacist should know all your medications, in order to check for drug interactions.

However, you can also ask the pharmacist to check a list to see if any new meds interfere with what you're on.

In theory – your Doctor should also know. (I say in theory because there are some clueless MDs out there. If you have one, you should find a new one.)

            • Nicole

Went to RA pharmacy for the first time when they started the 30 minute guarantee since I was really pressed for time and my son was sick. They were so intent on filling it quickly they asked me NO health questions at all. Just insurance and DOB. My son has medication allergies too but I knew the medicine and wasn't concerned about it for us. Hopefully they don't harm anyone in their haste.

            • Sandra

Thats sad, I wouldn't trust a pharmacist to tell me that, especially since there is only like 1 for every like 5 non-pharmacist behind the counter. The medication information included will warn you of interactions, Dr.s are supposed to tell you, and then there's google. I Had a Doctor KNOW I was on birth control and then go and prescribe me antibiotics for my skin, mentioning NOTHING about the interaction. Luckily I am smart :D.
I hop to. You can only transfer a Rx to a store once right? So if I had a cvs and meijer I could get two gift cards depending on the store's policies. Transferring BACK doesn't count right? I think I have read this. Also, what if it is a newly written Rx for the same exact med and dosage that you have had filled there b4? …I don't like asking the Rx because I'm afraid they will look at me like I'm cheap.

            • havcoupon

I have found that Drs don't always know the reactions one drug may have with another or that they don't always look to see what other medication you may be taking before they write a prescription. Lots of time, they are writing it because being pushed by the drug reps. I always check with the pharmacist whether drugs will have a reaction to other drugs. Had one dr. prescribe my husband something with a drug he is allergic to. Thank goodness the pharmacist knew this and averted a problem before there was one.

What paper was this in? I checked our Rite Aid sales paper and I can't find it anywhere :-(

          • Beth

            Ditto!

    • Beth

I purchased 2 Old Spice body washes and 1 oledd spice body spray. Used the B1G1 body wash Q and then the Buy 2 bw's get the body spray free. Total came up to 0.96 before tax. My $4 +up rewards printed on my receipt. Could I not turn around and do the same deal again but purchase a few more things with it (fillers)? When I attempted to make the 2nd transaction the cashier told me I could only do it once. I looked at the hangtag and in the add, and I couldn't find any limits. If I do this deal again, will the +up rewards print again?

      • coupondiva02

Yes, I did two transactions on Sunday for the old spice and the $4 UP reward printed for both. I didn't do as good with the OOP as you though so I'm studying what I did wrong! :-)

        • Sandra

I thought the Up were connected to your wellness card like CVS and ECBS, where theres a limit.

          • Susan

Not yet–maybe one day in the future, though.

      • It will print up again.

Rite Aid's coupon policy states that they reserve the right to stop you from making purchases that deplete inventory for other customers.

That may be why the cashier wouldn't let you do it again.

    • ScottK

IF YOU WEREN'T ABLE TO GET THE EYE DROPS REBATE…I found out today that there was some sort of supply error in most stores and that they should all be getting fedex shipments today or tomorrow and the other stores who get a truck in the next two days should have them there! Great news!

    • Tiffany

Jenny- There is a debate going on about the use of coupons with the gift card rebates. Rite Aid policy clearly states you have to spend the certain amount AFTER any and all coupons yet people using coupons, spending less than the specified amount, are still getting the rebate. Your thoughts?

    • mandy

where is the printable for the clean and clear finishes? Am I missing it?

    • Daune

Blink Tears. Can you all three coupons on one item?

      • coupondiva02

No, you can never use more than 1 manufacturer's coupon per item but if you use the $2 off coupon then you'll make $2 after you apply for the SCR of $7.99 (whole purchase price).
Even if you didn't have a coupon this would make the item free but it becomes a money maker by using 1 coupon.

    • coupondiva02

There's a $2 off coupon for Kerasal Foot Softening Product in the June/July issue of Reader's Digest. I noticed this has a $1 SCR this month as well.

    • Christy

Rite Aid not being coupon friendly? Has anyone else had this problem? I was treated very badly at one yesterday. The store manager was not happy that I was using coupons with a 5 off of 25 dollar purchase. He gave me a long lecture and told me that I really could not do that. I was very surprised and upset about being made to fell this way. I just wondered if couponing at Rite Aid is going to be cumbersome. CVS is always so great so I was really caught off guard when I was treated like this. What do you guys think?

      • Lauren

I have one Rite Aid store near me that treats me like I'm robbing them if I try and use a coupon. I get the same lecture there. I have another Rite Aid store that's just a little further away that is VERY coupon friendly. So I think it might really vary from store to store. Coupon-friendly store is in Johnson City, TN.

        • Jen in SC

Ditto. I have one Rite Aid, a newer, nicer store, that treats me like crap with the coupons. One cashier even refused to let me use 2 $3.00 off Huggies coupons once when I had 2 packs of Huggies. She said we can only take one of each coupon. I pointed out that I had 2 packs of diapers so I should be able to use 2 coupons. And she said NOPE. She told me it was Rite Aid policy. Bull sh*t.

Then there's an older, smaller Rite Aid a little further away, They let me use whatever Q's I want! And are smiling and happy about it! So it all depends on the store.

      • Sara

        Hey Christy.

I went to Rite-Aid today and tried to purchase the reach toothbrushes. They rang up for 5.99 but it was supposed to be 3.99. The cashier and manager kept trying to tell me that 3.99 was the scr and not the correct price. It was pretty complicated. Not nearly as easy as CVS. Hope your experience is better next time!

      • DonnaTN

Print out their coupon policy to have it handy just in case.

      • Speaking of problems with RA couponing, I had a problem with redeeming an UP reward today. I was trying to use the old spice $4 reward to buy:

        2 Old spice deoderant
        1 aveeno
        1 $.24 clearance item

        I had a b1g1 coupon, (worth $3.50)
        $3 off aveeno
        $4 up reward.

With the $.24 clearance item, the subtotal should have been .23. However, the register would not take the up reward. The assistant manager keyed the coupon in manually (after about 10 minutes of playing with it), but then she said that they shouldn't take the b1g1 coupon. When I asked her why, she refused to explain it.

The exact same transaction worked like a charm the day before, except instead of the $.24 clearance item it was a $.50 butterfinger.

        • Susan

I think there's something wrong with that one—I rolled some $4 Old Spice up rewards on Sunday, but yesterday–no matter how much my total was-the register kept telling the associate that I needed $4 more of merchandise to be able to use the $4 up old spice reward. Finally, the manager pushed it through. What a pain!

          • Benjamin

I also had the “needs $4 more” error, but the manager pushed it through. :) Since it's a new program, I think there are just some kinks that need to be worked out.

            • What got to me was that nobody in the store – neither the cashier or the Assistant Manager understoon what the $4 up reward actually was. The cashier thought I had to buy old spice with it, and the manager thought I had ripped off the top where it said that I had to have a purchase of $20.

I can't wait until they all understand their programs!

        • Mary

I had the SAME problem. Rolled fine on Sunday…did several transaction with OS body wash and Raisinets. My total was $4 before tax and after my reward I paid $.43. Tried the same thing on Tuesday and had all kinds of problems. But, luckily they just pushed it though.

      • Cathy

In reply to Christy. I also am disappointed in my Rite-Aid trip. I decided a couple of months ago not to use Rite-Aid because the store manager all but said he hated coupons being used. So I decided to give them another chance with the up rewards and again the same store manager was so rude and I tried to use my up rewards for the very first time it wouldn't accept them and he told the cashier that something was going on with the rewards. I then asked her just to void out my purchase and he got mad and told her just to FIX it. I plan on reporting him to customer service and I will just use CVS from no on because they are all wonderful and helpful. And Rite Employees do not even know how rewards work and it looks like management doesn't as well. If they are going to have rewards and except coupons they need to make the customer feel comfortable using them. Again CVS is always friendly and even want to learn how to use coupons for themselves. I see why our Rite Aid in Clanton does so poorly.

    • Andrea

I got the Neutrogena Clinical today–wanted to get the Eye Lift but the store only had the Face Lift. With my 20% off (Wellness) I paid31.99 then used RA in-ad coupon $5 off , manuf coupon $5 off, RA skincare $1 off and $5 off $20 RA coupon so I ended up paying $18 and will submit it for the Neutrogena Clinical Rebate for $15. If I hadn't already done the Skincare rebate this could go to that RA rebate, too. If I would have been able to get the Eye Lift I would have made money but $3 for Neutrogena Clinical isn't too bad. :)

    • Sandra

Hope everyone has noticed the Bronzer deal goin on – 14.95 for a bronzer (there might be some at 12.95-13.95). Get 2 and they are bogo, use the $5 coupons on each (worked for me) and the $5 RA physicians coupon, then get more stuff like these other deals and use a $5/25 or similar and get it for free or better!!

    • Sandra

What I'm confused on is my rite aid just showed the up rewards with the Red Zone 2/7 and the 6/6 coupons were for the body wash and/or FRESH COLLECTION deoderant, which is more expensive and not included in the deal. How are people rolling anything but the 1 bogo body wash coupon?? They arn't free like people are saying..I'm confused.

    • Angel

The RA in Hartsville SC is very coupon friendly. Mr Mitchell is the manager, and he rings me out quite often. He likes it when the coupons bring more customers to his store, and likes it that we usually buy more. He has even found us teaching new coupon folks the rules, and welcomed the new person. I once saw the wine distributor place expired wine tags on their wine. I pointed it out to him, and he said thanks, as he pulled them all down. That would have made for some unhappy wine customers had the expired ones been left there, and the register not taken them. Anyway, GREAT store, & GREAT customer service.

    • Jamie

      • toni

Thanks for the tip. I did that transaction today.

    • Bradlee

Just got back from RA. I thought I did pretty well until I got home and checked my receipt. The cashier somehow missed 2 of my coupons that were worth $7 total. That would have brought my total down to 3.94+tax. I called and talked to the mgr. She said to come back and she would give me my coupons back. Is this normal store policy or what? Do I need to just return the items connected to the coupons and rebuy them? Here's what I got:
      1 OS deo $4
      2 OS bw $3.50 ea
      1 pampers wipes 2.49
      1 clean&clear 6.99
      1 clearasil (clearance)2.64
      1 OS body spray 3.50
      1 neutragena concealer 4.37
      4 carefree pantyliners .99ea
      1 always pantyliners (clearance) 1.99
      1 pantene mousse(clearance) 2.49
      2 pantene curling gel(clearance) 2.49ea

      used coupons
      2 – $5/25
      3 – $1/1 pantene products
      1 – $1/1 always
      2 – B1G1 carefree
      1 – B1G1 OS bodywash
      1 – B1os bw G1 os spray
      1 – $1 clearasil
      1 – $2 pampers wipes
      1 – $3 store ad clean&clear
      1 – $2 clean&clear
      1 – B1os bw G1 deo
      1 – $3 neutragena
Could someone just tell me what I should do when I go back to RA this afternoon?
      Sorry this is so wordy.

      • kate

        Which coupons did they miss??

        • Bradlee

They missed my $3 neutragena and B1 os bodywash G1 os deoderant.

          • Kate

Well, I was able to buy 2 body wash and got 1 bodywash free, 1 deodorant AND 1 body spray FREE. That was just by buying 2 bodywash and using B1 bw G1 deodorant, B1 bw G1 bodywash and B2 bw G1 bodyspray. Plus, I used the $1/2 bw coupon and got back $4 up rewards. Not sure why they would take the neutrogena coupon. That's the cosmetic coupon, right? Great to see that everything got cleared up for you though!!

      • ToddDu

They are related to your B1G1 OS items. You would have had to purchase 6 total items instead of 4 to use the B1G1 coupons. You can't use more than one B1G1 on one product to get two products free

      • Bradlee

My RA is AWESOME!!!! Went back in to see about the coupons that were not scanned. Supervisor was soooo nice. She returned bodywash, deo, and neutragena item, and gave me $13.03 back. She re-rang these items. Total after using coupons and my $4 wellness coupon from previous transaction was $2.03. So after all was said and done, I actually only spent $4.49 oop.

    • Rach_momof4

Heads up guys! My Rite-aid in middle TN had all Huggies and pampers mega packs 50% off! That makes them $8.99! The pampers easy ups were also included. I used 3 $3 off and my 5/25 and got three packs for $15 even! AWESOME!!

      • Francomom00

Same in Cumming, Ga at the Rite Aid on Hwy 20 and Bethelview!

      • cashier

I think it's actually company wide. The packages are changing, so we need to clear stock for the new set up!

    • amh

I had a pretty awesome experience at Rite Aid this morning. I really LOVE my store. The cashier is awesome and is always willing to take my coupons and please. I did two transactions. Here's my deals today:
      Transaction #1
      1 Seabreeze
      2 Dawn Dishsoap
      1 JF Root Awakening Shampoo
      1 JF Root Awakening Conditioner
      2 Reach value packs toothbrushes
      2 Oral B Pulsar Toothbrushes
      2 EAS Myoplex protein bars

      Used the following coupons:
      10% off Rite Aid wellness
      $5 off $25
      $5 off $20
2 $3.89 off EAS protein bars
      B1G1 Pulsar Toothbrush
      2 $3.00 off Root Awakening
      $1 off $10 hair purchase
      $1 off Sea Breeze
      2 $1 off Reach toothbrush
$2 off Reach when you buy 2 toothbrushes
      2 $1 off Dawn
(i think that's it for the coupons)

      Transaction #2
2 Aveeno hand lotions (3.49 each)
      2 EAS Myoplex protein bars
      1 Opti-Free Replenish duo pack 17.99

      Used:
      $5 off $25
      $5 off $20
      $4 off Opti Free
$3 off in ad coupon for Opti Free
$3 off in ad coupon Aveeno
$3 off in ad coupon Aveeno
2 $3.89 off EAS protein bar

My total for both transactions before sales and coupons was $81.74
After sales and coupons my OOP was $5.30 and I'm getting $7 back in rebates so really I made almost $2 !!!

It depends on the cashiers but i've been pretty consistent with making sure this one is my cashier each time I go in b/c she never gives me any trouble and does it all with a smile!

      • pharmSCgirl

How come you can use 2 $ off $ coupons in one transaction? Just curious b/c that's great that your store lets you do that.

        • amh

They don't always. I think it depends on the cashier. Sometimes they say you can do it and sometimes they don't. I've had a few instances when they will take it and when they will say i need to have separate transactions.

    • Lazyleah78

I went to Riteaid today for the Zegerid deal. My original plan was to get the 28 ct. for $21.99 listed above using these coupons:

$5 off $20 Video Values Coupon
$5 off any MQ (from a recent Parade magazine I think)
$3 off any Zegerid Video Values Coupon
$4 off +UP Reward from buying the 2 Old Spice Red Zone Deoderant
      Total = $4.99 with a $2 SCR
My Birmingham area ad did not have the in ad coupon for $3 off

When I got to the store I realized the 14 ct. also had the $2 SCR so I changed to that one that is $12.99 and used the same coupons above minus the $5 off $20 VV coupon. The new total came to be .99 cents with a $2 SCR, so now we have a money maker if you have the $5 MQ and the $4 +UP Reward on hand. Not too bad!

    • pharmSCgirl

Does anyone know if I bought one of the Old Spice body washes in one transaction, can I then buy one more and get the $4 +UP reward? I didn't know if it would register that you already bought one with the card. Thanks!

      • Susan

        Would highly doubt it

    • pharmSCgirl

I went to Rite Aid tonight and between 3 transactions I spent:
Total Before Sales and Coupons: $124.10
      Total After Sales and Coupons: $17.92 (+ $4.53 in taxes)= $22.45
SCRs Total:$33.98 I love making money to shop!

    • ToddDu

I think it is because I registered but just got $3 SCR for any Pantene purchase. Make sure RA has your email so you get deals. (email spells out twice that offer cannot be forwarded)

    • mandy

I did transaction #2 to a tee and I didn't receive a $4 up reward, I don't understand where it was suppose to come from but I told the cashier that according to the site online I was suppose to get a $4 up reward and she didn't understand what I was talking about.

I've never gotten one before so I didn't understand it myself I was just going off what it said in jennys scenario, can someone explain what happened and what I can do to fix it?

      • Sandra

Point it out in the ad – front page!

      • toni

You have to use your Wellness card. Did you do that?

      • Elizabeth

Transaction #2 doesn't give back an Up reward. Jenny is showing that she is using the $4 Up reward she received from transaction #1 to help pay for transaction #2, but none is generated back. It just qualifies for the SCR rebates.

    • Lavie Marshall

Where can I find the Rite Aid coupon policy?????

      • Susan

        iheartriteaid (dot) com has it

    • A Couponlady

still looking for physicians formula Q-not finding in ss5/23 or4/18,in Atlanta area/ Has anyone have an idea?

    • Jenirizarry

AWESOME Deal on Physician's Formula Bronzers that are B1G1!!!
Some of them have $5 off peelies on them, so if you can score 2 with peelies it's a MONEYMAKER!

They run from $12.95-$14.95 (I think)
      use the $5 off $25
      2 – $5 off peelies
1 – printable Rite Aid $5 off Physician's Formula coupon

Baically our sale will ring up $12.95-14.95 plus tax, then you will have $20 in coupons!!!! So, you will need fillers!

      • cashier

We've had customers get angry with us because this scenario is against policy! You're not supposed to need fillers, the coupons just have to be modified down so that the products are both free. No overage is technically allowed at Rite Aid. It's actually not allowed period, if you look up coupon fraud. A company CAN get fined for doing transactions like this, b/c the manufacturer (Physicians Formula in this case) is paying the store back say $15 when you spend around $13 so then they're paying $2 for products that aren't theirs (the fillers). Plus, the RA $5 off $25 wouldn't work unless you bought more than $25 b/c it's the amount you're spending which isn't for 2 of them. The total isn't above $25 because of the sale. The subtotal is due to how the computers show it, but that isn't following policy.

    • shickman1

I purchased the Old Spice red zone deodorants 2/7 and was suppose to receive a $4 up on receipt..it did not print and the cashier tried it twice…what do I do? Thanks

      • Queenthatiam

same thing happened to me yesterday, and while I was in the store I called customer service and was told that they were having problems with the UP reward not printing. I am sure if you give CS a call they will take care of it.

        • Savemoneysam

I'll have to try calling them because I didn't get my +UP rewards on the body wash or the pampers. As usual, I got the $1 UP rewards for a “ten dollar household purchase” and some other one…

    • aurora0081

I have a question. I purchased the $7.99 Blink Tears but it must have been the wrong one because it didnt show up as a SCR. Can I return it for the correct one and have it count still? Thanks.
