According to the up rewards printout, you can only use one per transaction. You can't use multiple ones at a time. Anyone tried this out?

      • grace

yes, I just did it 30 minutes ago. I used $2 I got from Coppertone and I used $ 1 from Huggies purchase. She had to call the manager though to ask and he said yes, you can do that

      • Farrellreg

I did it! No problems! The only rewards that say one per transaction are the ones that say $1 off $10. The others should be able to roll with no problem.

    • Colburnslovebama

It may vary by store, mine in Ky adheres to the $1 per transaction like it says on the receipt. So they aren't as fun as ECB, but you can break your transactions up if you have more than one I guess!

    • kd

I don't see the Rite Aid coupon on Redplum. is anyone else seeing it?

      • Stephanie C

        I don't see it either.

    • Shirley

Just want to confirm what I think I understand so far about the UP+ rewards. Are you saying that you can only use one UP+ reward to pay for your transaction? Say for example, I have two UP+ rewards, one for $3 and one for $2. If I bought something for $5, I cannot use both UP+ rewards to pay for the transaction, I can only use either the $3 or $2 UP+ reward? Don't have a card yet and am wondering if I should get one. Thanks in advance for the help. Cheers

      • Amy

You can use both Up+ rewards. I haven't tried more than one, but they take two with no problems at mine.

        • Amy

Haven't tried more than two at one time, I mean. :) I thought faster than I typed. :)

          • Beth

            Used two without a problem.

            • Susan

Depends on your cashier–mine said only one because the fine print stated, “must be used on one purchase” I thought she was wrong–I interpret that to mean you can't use $1 of a $2 up reward, for instance, on one transaction, and the other $1 of it on another.

            • Shirley

Ok, well, I think I will go ahead and give it a go, I guess, no harm in it. This would be a perfect week to try it out, I have a few of those Motrin $3off Qs I can get rid of, they have the Motrin UP+ deal … Thanks again and cheers all

            • Carolyn090

the fine print may mean, well like cvs if you dont spend it all you loose it .no cash back.

      • Marina115

i have an UP card but my reward didn't print last time. I didn't argue with the cashier because it's so new they don't know the policies themselves. I would get one just so you're ready if there's a deal you can't pass up. But it's going to take awhile for all the kinks to be worked out.

    • Amber

am I missing something? The only coupons I have ever gotten printed out with my receipt were for things like $1 off $10 shaving products or $1 off $10 in beauty products. I have never gotten any that were truly like CVS's ECBs. Please help.

      • Stephanie C

You have to use the new Wellness card, and look for products that have UP rewards associated with them. Then the UP reward prints out on the receipt.

        • Amber

Thanks. I do have the Wellness card, and I do have UP rewards that print out with my receipts. However, to use the $1 off, it says I would have to buy $10 worth of beauty products only. I guess I misunderstood that others were using them like ECBs to pay for the total out of pocket expense of any kind of items they wanted to purchase.

          • Stephanie C

There are rewards just for buying an item, for example: Coppertone sunblock is on sale for $8.99, when you buy it a $2 UP reward prints out on the receipt that says courtesy of Coppertone, and you can use it on any purchase in the store.

            • Amber

ok, thanks! I need to buy some products where it will print out “courtesy of” on it. Those sound a lot better than what I have currently been getting.

            • Tonyareid

I am also confused about the up rewards. I did purchase the Coppertone sunblock for $8.99 …however my “UP” reward was for “$2 off Coppertone purchase”. So it was not like ECB's that can be used on any non-prescription purchase. Am I missing something?

            • Susan

No, no–you don't have to buy coppertone with it…the coupon is just telling you what you earned it for…it was for purchasing the Coppertone. You can use it on anything in the store.

            • Tonyareid

Thanks for clarifying, Susan! It does state “$2 off non prescription purchase FROM the purchase of Coppertone”. I was misreading it.

            • Sarah

I bought the Coppertone deal, and my $2 printed out as two separate UP rewards–one good for a dollar off a $10 “household” purchase and one good for a dollar off a $10 “seasonal” purchase. I was not happy about it!!

            • Susan

Those weren't your up rewards—those were just plain 'ole wellness coupons that everyone gets with their card, no matter what you purchase (for some reason they are labelled “up rewards” on them, but they are not the up rewards for purchasing particular items. Those are truly like ecbs and just say, for instance, “$1 off your next purchase courtesy of Huggies.” They are NOT 1 off of 10 or something of the sort.

          • Carla

I had a problem with mine printing, too. They never could tell me why. I just returned the items and went to another Rite Aid and it worked.

          • kcreviews

I've had the same thing happen to me (I posted before reading your post) and I never ever have gotten these good UP rewards like everyone's talking about. And I only have one Rite Aid, so I can't change stores. Guess I'll just stop shopping at RA–it's not my fave drugstore anyway.

    • Nitroxrunner

Does anyone know the zip code for the $5 off $25 rite aid coupon on the redplum site?

      • Nitroxrunner

never mind. I found it! you have to use zip code 43666.

        • kd

thanks a bunch! I found it with that zipcode. :)

        • reggie55

THANK YOU!!!! I Couldn't find it anywhere!

    • Carla

I can not find the printable Cottonelle coupon. Is there a certain zip code to use?

    • Sue

I found an amazing deal at Rite Aid today. Olay Regenerist eye derma-pod anti-aging triple response system, regularly $29.99 on clearance for $7.49. Used $3 coupon, making it $4.49. So, check your clearance shelves! They also had lots of diapers on clearance.

      • I found the same thing! I also bought some pampers 50% off and used coupons for everything, I ended up paying $8 for $56 worth of items :) Thanks for the heads up!!

        • Sue

Make certain to enter your receipt for the skin care SCR. I was credited with the full 29.99, which automatically means $15 SCR. Big moneymaker! I had already bought 13.48 and was hoping that the 7.49 would qualify. Now I'm going for the $25 + $5 SCR.

    • pharmSCgirl

For those of you who may not have a wellness card yet, don't purchase anything in the intial transaction of your wellness + card that is supposed to give you the +UP rewards. For some reason it doesn't give the rewards. I work at Rite Aid and we didn't even know they were going to start the +UP rewards program so I don't know how to explain it. I wish I knew, but it should give you the reward the 2nd time you use your card.

      • Jenni

I had this happen to me and my cashiers were both were absolutely clueless – thanks to NO TRAINING FROM CORPORATE – on what to do about it. AND they won't give me my coupons back if I just return it all, and then ring it up again. SO ANGRY with corporate over how BADLY they have put the “Wellness” program into effect.

    • Jeckelann

found the rite-aid coupon under the zip code but keeps saying print limit reached hannaford. never printed the coupon.. oh well.

      • kd

I keep getting that too. boo! I was excited that I had found it but can't get it to print, even on a computer I never print coupons from. :(

    • Mari

I'm sure this has been covered, but I'm new! If you watch the videos and get the $5 off $20 or $5 off $25, is that to be used just once a month, or can you do it more than once? Thanks

      • Jenni

They say one per customer, not one per transaction, so my thought is that you should assume that you should only use them once. Especially since they print with your name on them, and Rite Aid IS DEFINITELY cracking down on illegal and invalid coupon use. (I know this from two cashier just today. Cashiers ARE getting FIRED for accepting invalid coupons.

While others do say that since you can print as many as you want, you should be able to use them as many times as you want, if you can get away with it, I personally don't look on that as anything other than fraud.

      • grace

I used more than one in May, 2 from watching the videos and one from Red Plum

    • MMG1972

I was told by the clerk they will only take one coupon per purchase! I called corporate and they said it wasn't true. They had the store manager called me and she said they will only take one coupon because the coupons state one per purchase! So if I have 20 coupons they have to ring me up 20 seperate times and I will never be able to use my 5.00 off 25.00. Ugghhh I wish they would be get straight!!

      • carolyn090

the clerk doesnt understand the difference in a purchase and a transaction . if you place five items on the counter then you are purchasing five products .when you pay for them then you have made a transaction, meaning you can use five coupons. it doesnt matter if they are all the same product or all different. one coupon per purchase means i cant buy one product and give you two coupons for it, so everytime i buy one product i can use one coupon for it . they are just making alot harder than it has to be.mabe even show them the marcel tp coupon it states that one coupon per purchase per day or something like that .if the manuf. only wanted you to use one per transaction ,per day , per person this is how that would be written . hopefully the clerk will be happy to learn something , and thank you! it will make their job alot easier.

    • MariPratt

The clerk was incorrect MMG1972. It is one coupon PER ITEM per purchase. Next time ask for the manager. and have the manager call corporate while you are there if they are questioning it. Good Luck!

    • Darla

If I purchase 3 items that give me UP rewards, will all 3 rewards print out at the bottom of my receipt? Or do I have to purchase the UP items individually?

      • ScottK

you can get each item and get the reward, but you can't buy more than 1 of the SAME item per transaction and get multiple rewards for that item.

        • Darla

Thank you for the clarification. This is going to be interesting. :)

    • Danielle

My husband is trying to quit smoking – the BOGO nicotine patches with the $5 off $20 looks like a good deal. At $39.99 a box, makes it $17.50 each. Does anyone know if I can get this cheaper somewhere else? Thanks!

    • Mandi

Anyone have the zip on the cottonelle? Thanks!

      • Monica

did you find a zip code yet ? I haven't had any luck

        • Mandi

Still looking – might just have to use All You…

    • jenniferp

What videos give you the $5 off $25?

      • Coach A

Click on the link and then scroll down until you see the possible videos. Look for the one with the Rite Aid logo on it. You may have to scroll left or right using the arrow buttons to find it. HTH

        • moneysaved4disney

I have watched a few videos, but it never gives me a coupon to print. What am I doing wrong?

          • Meebababe

When you get done watching videos, go up to the top of the screen. Click on the grey tab on the right side that says My Rewards. You should then be able to select the coupons you would like to print.

I'm also confused about the new +Up rewards. On this week's receipt, I have $1 UP reward from Cadbury, that looks that it can be used on anything, similar to ECB. Then, I have $1 UP reward off a $10 seasonal purchase, and $1 UP Reward of a $10 household purchase. These two don't seem to be like ECB at all. Can someone help explain it to me? Thanks!

      • Tina M

This is how I understand it, but i may not be totally right! The $1 off $10 specific purchases are similar to the coupons we get when we scan our CVS card on the machine. They are for specific purchases. The UP rewards are like CVS ECBs. You get them when you purchase included items and then you can use them like ECBs on any purchase. The difference is they all print on the end of your receipt. I am not sure if you can use more than one of the rewards that are like ECBs at a time, but I have used one with one of the $1 off $10 coupons that printed out. HTH

        • grace

I used two different up rewards on one transaction and it is because the manager said it is okay. The cashier had never 'seen' them. I think since they are so new, give Rite Aid Cashiers a chance

    • kcreviews

I don't understand how the UPs are helping me. I've been using the card and all I ever get in rewards are $1 off $10 purchase. I rarely if ever spend $10 at RA, so these rewards are not helping me at all. I wish they really were like ECBs or RRs to where they just took off $1 or $2 off any purchase.

    • kate

If happened to watch the U by Kotex video adperk last month, then you can still print it and use it with the SCR this upcoming week. So you may want to check your coupons on adperks from videos you watched last month…they are still there for you to print off. Also, if you've received samples in the mail for this product there was a $1 coupon included
      Buy:
Kotex or U by Kotex $3.50
      -$3 SCR #11 wyb (2)
      (2) -$1 off U by Kotex Product April All You Magazine
      -$1 Adperk coupon
      Total = 50¢ each

If you don't have coupon for the Motrin, just go their website and you can print off a $1 coupon for the Motrin PM. It's not a $3 coupon, but it's better than nothing.

    • Bockstie

If anyone has the P&G $100 book there are $1 bounty coupons to score some free rolls!

    • I have a question…

Can you buy a motrin at $3 and get a $3 +up reward and then use the $3 +up reward and but the mortin again and get $3 +up reward? thanks.

      • Susan

        yes

        • I have a question

          thanks!

    • Fallaya

I'm wondering what I should do if my +Up Rewards don't print on my receipt when I go shopping tomorrow. They didn't print last week. I called corporate and they promised to send me the 4+UP Rewards they owe me for the body wash deal. What happens if they don't print for THIS WEEK'S deals? Call corporate again? No one in the store knows anything about the Wellness program!!

      • havcoupon

I heard that the first time you use your wellness reward card that the +Up rewards do not print. That is what happened to me. When I went yesterday though they all printed for me.

      • Jenni

I have continued to have this problem beyond my first transaction. So far it hasn’t printed one of my Motrin PM rewards (even though it printed them prior to this transaction, and more since that transaction), and it missed a Colgate UP reward. The Rite Aid employees had no idea what to do. I’m pretty frustrated, but I am just going to write corporate and let them know about the problem and ask them to (please) somehow get my $5 in UPs back to me. (It also didn’t print a Huggies UP from my very first transaction with my card)

    • Kristi

Here in KY, they will only take one +UP reward coupon per transaction. So instead of being able to roll them as I make different transactions, they will only let me use one per deal. Not helping in terms of rolling them like CVS will let you do. However, I did notice today on the $1 off $10 seasonal purchase or household purchase, that those do state specifically that you may only use one per transaction. The general +UP rewards that print (like for Coppertone, Post, Purex or whatever deal is printing them) do not say only one per transaction. I have tried to explain this to the Rite Aid I shop at and they will not budge. I have shopped there for two years and it's very frustrating that they haven't been trained properly.

      • Nikki

I was afraid that it was going to be the same way here in central AL, but it's not. This afternoon I was able to use the Coppertone 2 +UP along with 1 +UP on a $10 seasonal and (2) 1 +UP on $10 household. The only thing that I bought was Prevacid 28.99. With the $10 video value, $4 mfg Q and $5 off $25 Q. I've never gotten this good of a deal before.

        • ScottK

you only bought prevacid and they let you use $3 in unrelated coupons? Obviously prevacid isn't seasonal or a household item.

          • guest

Maybe staying indoors in the summertime gives her heartburn?! I think you got lucky there Nikki.

      • savysaver

I'm in KY too. Try a different RA, they all do things differently. I think we have six or seven in Lexington that I rotate around. One will not take any sort of Internet coupon so I just stay away from that one. I haven't tried to use more than one UP reward though but I have used a $1 off $10 hair care and Huggies Up before.

    • Melirish

Just so everyone knows the Gillette Fusion Razor SCR is for the Pro Glide style only. I bought the wrong one :( and its not worth returning the wrong one because i cant get my coupons back. O well.

      • Coupacoupon

You do get refunded the full purchase price though, so at least that's something.

    • robertanewber

Signed up 3 xs and never got a confirmation code to get cpn.
      What's up with site

    • Reymannkids

I have a $6 dollar off 2 nice and easy catalina coupon that says manufactures coupon but also says redeemable at Target. Does anyone know if I can use that at RiteAid?

      • Melirish

yes you can. but you might have to explain to the cashier that it is a manufactures coupon and not a target coupon.

        • Laurie

I actually had this problem today at Walgreens. The Catalina coupon reads “Kroger” on it but is a manufacturer's coupon. Anyway, the very friendly and always helpful Walgreens clerk told me that they can't accept these, because of an agreement b/t Catalina & Kroger. Supposedly Catalina won't pay the coupon value back to Walgreens. Hmm. . . .

      • my rite-aid will not take them…:(

    • LB

I received an email from Rite Aid with an “Exclusive Offer” for a $3 SCR for any Nice n Easy hair color. Looks like it might be moneymaker this week. Check your email!

Clairol Nice ‘N Easy Hair Color $7.49
Use the $1/1 coupon from the Rouge Magazine May issue
      Use the $2.50/1 in-ad coupon
      Pay $3.99
      Get a $2 +UP Reward
      Submit for SCR: $3
      = Moneymaker $1.01

    • amh

Just to let everyone know the QUantumatic Automatic Dishwasher starter kits are a money maker this week. They are 50% off at my store so that makes them $5.49 and the video values have a coupon for $4.00 off plus you can go onto Home Solutions and print a $3.00 off and use both it's -$7 so you can use the overage on something else in your purchase! That is an awesome deal… and they work really well too! I just bought 2 today

    • Laurie

Anyone have the zip code for the TGI Friday's snacks?

    • Valeriejcm

Here's what I'm planning… since the Motrin deal nets you $3 Up each time

      Motrin $3
      – $3 coupon
      tax only due
      + $3 Up reward

Do this 3 times, then use the 3 Up coupons for free clearance diapers!

That is, if my RA will let me use all three UP coupons on a single transaction…

    • Christie

I had a fantastic day at Rite-Aid today! I got 2 Motrin PM 20 ct boxes, Viva 8 roll paper towels, Cottonelle 12 roll TP, Quaker oatmeal, and the Finish Quantumatic starter kit for a total of $4.45 including tax. I love Rite-Aid and the +Up rewards. I was able to use 2 +up rewards coupons on one transaction with no problem. I really hope they continue this program.

    • Allison

      What are the +UP rewards?

      • Susan

Click link at top of page that explains “Up rewards.”

    • Beth

Where is the policy for the +UP rewards. When I went to my local Rite Aid this morning, I was only able to redeem 1 +UP per transaction. I have not been able to find the Rite Aid policy online. please help!

      • guest

I haven't been able to find anything online either. Call 1-800-Rite-Aid. The customer service center is generally fantastic, and they should clear up any issues that you had. The store should have accepted multiple Ups.

      • Grazynageer

I called RiteAid and they told me I can use as many as I want as long as it is not more than the total due. For example, your total has to be the full $2 or more to redeem a $2 UP reward. If your total due is less than $2 then you can't use it. The customer service told me that if my store gives me trouble again, she wants me to call in and let them know the store number and the cashier. I don't want to get anyone in trouble. I just hope that next time I try to use more than one in my transaction they will let me.

    • guest

Does anyone know, is the Fusion razor a limit of 1 rebate per month or is it a new deal this week? I bought 1 last week and submitted for the SCR. Will I be able to repeat the deal and get the SCR this week also?

      • lynn

usually a limit of 1 rebate per month. you can check the rite aid website for the limits.

    • ScottK

I normally try to limit to two transactions (so not to make enemies, but also because that's the most I need.) Today tho I did 4 without any irritation. Since they had plenty of the motrin, and I had 4 $3 coupons, I did 4 transactions to spend $.72 and gain $12! Then I turned around and spent that $12 on household clearance items, foil wraps, food storage containers. In the end I spent about $1 and got what would regularly be priced $50 in total..take off 75% then take off the $12 I profited, now I don't need foil or anything for a long time!

      • lynn

so they've got some foil wraps and things on clearance? Hmmm. I'll have to check that out!

        • ScottK

Yeah, they were sized 25 square feet (tho most had a bonus 5 square feet). If they already rang up clearance at my RA that means they should be clearance at all the other ones, even if they aren't marked yet! Great deal!

    • mabell4tn

I'm new to Rite Aid Rebates. I followed the scenario exactly last week, but when I keyed in my receipts it did not give me my rebate for the Old Spice body wash. Can anyone tell me what I need to do? Thanks.

      • Sue

When did you buy it? That was a 3-day deal which ended on 6/15.

        • mabell4tn

I bought it on the 18th. They still had the signs up and I didn't realize it was over. Thank you very much.

          • Sue

I bought mine on the 18th also and the signs were still up. But considering how much I save at RA, I am not gonna quarrel over 2.99.

    • mp

Has anyone seen Quantumatic Automatic Dishwasher starter kit on sale for $5.49 in Greenville?

      • Sbrown1137

I have not…But…If you go on the Rite Aid website to the videos, there is one for “Finish”. Watch the video and you can print a RA coupon for $4.00 off.
Then bounce on over to http://www.finishdishwashing.com, and you can print a coupon for $3.00 off. Both together should make the item FREE!
        Good luck!

      • lynn

I haven't been to Greenville, but it was on sale in Johnson City, and I think they have the same ads. It's in the Ads with the Airwicks for half off. My store didn't have a tag on the shelf with the Quantums, but since it was in the ad, I figured they would ring up 1/2 price, and the did. I bought a couple yesterday.

      • colagirl

I got them yesterday in Columbia, which should have the same ad. Neither that nor the Cottenelle were marked on the shelf, but they rang up correctly. There is a great $3 or $4 Rite Aid video values coupon for the Quantumatic as well, so I got it for a little over $1!

    • Sbrown1137

Rite aid has a video you can watch and print a coupon for $4.00 off of the Finish Quantumatic Kit. Then if you boogie on over to http://www.finishdishwashing.com, you can print one there for $3.00 off. Together, the kit will be FREE!

    • Sbrown1137

RA has a video that you can watch to print a coupon for $4.00 off of the Finish Quantumatic Kit. Also, if you go to http://www.finishdishwashing.com, there is a $3.00 coupon there. Together, this item should be FREE!

    • Laurie

I don't see this scenario covered here. Today at Rite Aid, I bought several items that promised to pay UP! rewards. I asked the cashier if I could do multiple rewards, or if it was only one. She said no, I could get multiple rewards. And I asked her if it could be all on one transaction. Yes.

Well, it didn't work that way. I only got one Up! reward. So be sure if you're going to do this that you do separate transactions. I wish the cashiers knew more about how the program worked. Our cashier is super nice & helpful, but she doesn't know how the program works. So now I've got to return the items, because they are not a deal w/o the Up reward (although she did subtract my other coupons, but I can't get them back).

      • newsaver

That's weird. Yesterday I bought the nice and easy hair color and colgate toothpaste in one transaction (used 3 coupons total). I received two up rewards on my receipt. I haven't had any Up issues yet. Guess I've been lucky.

        • Susan

You can do multiple up rewards in one transaction, AS LONG AS THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT REWARDS. For example, you can do the Colgate and Motrin in the same transaction and get separate up rewards for both of them. However, you cannot do 2 Motrins in one transaction, expecting to get up rewards for both of them. Only one will print because it is the same deal. If you want more than one Motrin deal, for instance, you must do them in separate transactions.

    • Neharris38

I had a weird experience today at Rite Aid. For the first time ever, they gave me money . . . 16 cents in one of my transactions. I did a total of 6 transactions and got 3 motrin pms, 3 colgate proclinicals, and 6 small bags of m&ms as fillers. I spent less than $1 total [just paid tax on everything] and walked out with $8 in Up rewards. The cashier called the manager up to approve giving me the 16 cents . . . I thought he was just going to override it and charge me nothing. I asked the cashier what was going on . . . he just said “you got money back b/c of your coupons”. I wonder if their Up rewards system caused that since I did pay with one in that transaction. Oh well . . . . I am sure that if it was a significant amount of money they would have made me get something to make up the difference instead of giving me the cash. Great trip, though! I am excited about the new program. Now I am just waiting for carefree liners to go on sale BOGO the week of 6/27 so that I can use the BOGO coupons that expire 6/30!!! Going to use my $5/$20 and some of my Up rewards to get the pantiliners and some free diapers that week!

    • Alimac9382

Man I live in fort mill and the motrin was still 5.99 and the colgate toothpaste was 4 something, I was lookin forward to those deals :(

      • Sue

I stopped into a RA yesterday that I do not usually shop. Their Motrin was not marked for the sale. However, it was in their ad and did give me the +Up reward. I also bought 2 Finish Quantumatic Starter Kits and one refill for 53¢ plus tax, without using +Up rewards. Great trip!

    • WhitneyJones87

In the Augusta area Rite Aid paper, Zegerid OTC is 11.99, minus in-ad coupon ($2), minus SCR ($2), minus sunday paper coupon (6/20, $4) equals $3.99! Plus there was a free mail-in rebate for up to $12.99 (minus coupons & discounts). That spells free acid reflux for my hubby!

      • Kalli_jean

By the way, there is a $3 video value coupon you can use with the in-ad and man coupon as well. That brings you down to $0.99 plus the $12.99 rebate!!

    • WhitneyJones87

I mean free acid reflux MEDICINE for my hubby!

    • Melissa

Going to try the + UP rewards again this week – 2 wks ago the one did not print on my OS bodywash, but figured after coupons and the $ I made on something else, it was worth .35 for my hubby to smell good when he gets outta the shower so I did not qwibble ith them ;o)
Seems everyone has liked the program and had luck with it this week, so will give it a whirl!

    • Caroline

I was able to get the Finish Quantumatic at 5.49 for free plus overage with a $4 RA coupon and a $3 manu. coupon that I got at Publix several months ago. Was also able to get one Motrin at $3 (used -$3 man.), two Kotex at 3.50 each (used -$1.50 off 2 man, plus -$1 RA video coupon), one Colgate Total (used -$1 man.)and two Mentos gum (used 2 -.55 man), and used a -$5/20 for watching video coupon. Total oop was .88 plus 1.04 tax = 1.92, and got back $3 +UP for Motrin and $2 +UP for Colgate, plus earned $3 SCR for Kotex. Now I have to remember to keep track of +UP in addition to RR and ECB! Also the super nice cashier had never heard of Southern Savers so I told her to check it out! She said she had been seeing people doing great deals and was interested. I love telling people about SS.

    • Kalli_jean

So here is the deal I did at Rite Aid today and it worked out great! Only one small problem when the computer didn't want to print out the second +UP for the Purex, but after a little deliberation between the manager and cashier, I was given a $1 giftcard.

I live in Birmingham so the these are all based on a 9% tax. You may need different filler values if you're tax is lower. Also, we were able to print four of the Finish Quantumatic man. coupons from one computer. They were both from Home Solutions. The first was from the coupons link on the home page and the second was a round about way by clicking on the brand name. Rite Aid is by far my favorite store now and its been so much fun learning how to put all their programs together to get the best deals. I hope others are having as much fun as my friend and I.

    • Beckwin1

A newbie question here. I tried to follow the scenario for the Nicorette lozenzes today. I assume I got the SCR. I had a printed RA coupon for $7 and a manf Q for $7. The cashier said since they were both manf coupons I could use only one. I thought I had read that the RA printables could be stacked with manf, but I may be wrong. One good thing though is that I did have a $5/$25, so all was not lost.

So many learning mistakes. I got the Colgate toothpaste marked 2.99, but later I found it was not the correct size, so I missed the UP coupon. AAAGGGH.

This was my second trip to this Rite-Aid and my last. The other one is farther away but definitely better informed and more courteous.

      • Sue

Where did you get the printed RA coupon? Was it a Video Values Q?. If so, it is a store Q and they should have taken it. I have been told by 2 different people in 2 different stores this week, “If the register will take it, we accept it.” Next time ask them to try it.

        • Beckwin1

I believe it was a video coupon. It was yellow and said Rite-Aid on it, although it did say manufacturer's coupon. I'll ask them to try next time. Thanks.

          • guest

I think your cashier was wrong in this situation. For some reason Rite Aid enjoys putting manufacture coupon on all of their coupons– when they are not. You should have been able to combine both. If you go to the Rite Aid get starting guide you can print out the Rite Aid coupon policy.

            • Beckwin1

Looking in the Rite-Aid policy, it mentions on RA coupons from the circular, not the video ones, so I guess it would be at the discretion of the cashier. I'll always try to ask them to try anyway. Thanks for all the help.

      • Sue

You mention that you “assume” that you got the SCR. You should receive an email confirming this once your receipt is entered and processed.

    • Knjday

I tried to get the colgate toothpaste with the up rewards. I came up to .01 short and they made me purchase something additional. Cvs would have netted the up reward down. The cashier sd she couldnt change the amount on the coupon and couldnt proceed with me not buying an additional iteam. Has anyone else had this happen to them. I was looking to get some freebees like I do w/ cvs. I guess their programs are different :(

      • NoraMK

Yikes!! I just used Up rewards at Rite Aid for the first time and was so embarrassed! First the cashier didn't think I could use any coupons on the chex mix b/c it was on sale B1G1. Since they were not a good buy w/o coupons, I asked her to take them off. Then when I tried to use my Up coupon, the register said I had to buy more, like it did for you. So I told the cashier to add the chex back on and asked her to try the chex coupons (which were accepted, as I expected), and kept having the register say I needed to buy more. By that time a line had formed behind me, so I grabbed the nearest pack of gum and got that! Single check rebates were easier!! Hoping I can catch on to this, but am now embarrassed to go back to the RA closest to me. Will try another location next time!!

        • Guest

Your total before they scan your UP Reward has to me more than the UP Reward –even a penny makes it not scan :( They will not adjust those. What you can try is maybe using your UP Rewards first and then using your manufactures coupons. They can alwasy adjust them.

ALso, which Chex coupon did you use? $1off2 or 50 cents off one? I am planning on doing the deals, but just wanted to see which coupons they took? Last time I went and tried to use a coupon on a BOGO and they did not take it because one of them was free. At CVS they let you use it on both.

What great ideas!!! Thanks for sharing them.
Where is the Nivea $4/2 coupon found?

        • kate

For the Nivea coupon go to the this week’s cvs ad listed here on southern savers. Go to the personal care section and there is a link you click on to get the $4/2 coupon. The b1g1 coupon was from a sunday paper. Also, if you are looking for a little filler item, the single serve candy bars are on sale B1G1 and you can get a 50¢ off 2 coupon on almond joy or mounds on the video values adperk, which would make 2 of them 50¢. I’m actually gonna get the Purex 3-in-1, which is included in the 2/$6 Purex deal, instead of getting the i motion on my second transaction. Go to Purex’s website for $1 coupons and if you got the purex 3-in-1 sample recently in the mail, there was a $1 coupon included. Use 2 $1 coupon on the Purex and it will be $4 plus $1-Up reward.

iheartriteaid.com, iheartcvs.com and iheartwags.com are good website to find deals that may not be listed here on southern savers.

        • kate

Go to this week's cvs ad listed here on southern savers. In the personal care section you will see the nivea coupon link there for $4/2.

          • kate

Also, I am just guestimating on the price of the Air Wick and Finish. The price listed is based off of rite aid's website price. The actual 50% off price may vary by store, but it should be around $6.

      • Samplesfun

hiee thanx that is amazing! can you please tell me where can i find nivea coupons?

        • Laurie

Another great place to find coupons is afullcup.com – they have a coupon database.

      • Avsextras

        hiee….i have a doubt….so after 50% off airwick and finish is $6?? or is it $3 ?

        • kate

$6 is the 50% off price. According to their website it's normally priced at around $12. This is just a rough estimated of the cost because the store price may not be the same as their website.

    • Ashley

Does anyone know if Nivea body wash would count for the $50 skin care rebate? It doesn't seem to clarify.

      • Sue

Nivea is not on their list of qualifying products.

        • Ashley

You scared me to death. I just went and bought the lotion since the ad showed it qualified but it did not say on the cheaper body wash. I double checked and Nivea is part of the deal.

          • Sue

I'm sorry. I missed it. It is there.

    • Chrissy

Well I have to give some major kudos to Rite Aid today! I never really go in there because of the great deals that can be found at CVS (and sometimes Walgreens). I just figured out today that Rite Aid has the UP deals like CVS. So I got all my coupons together, loaded up the kids and hopped on over to Rite Aid. I immediately went to the cashier to ask how it worked and if there was anything that was tripping other people up. She explained it all perfectly and even showed me how other couponers have been doing it. I went and picked out my items (all clearly marked) and went to check out. Everything worked PERFECTLY! No problems with coupons or cashier attitudes! I think Rite Aid might have taken a leap over Walgreens now! Yay for Rite Aid!!!

    • Chrissy

Forgot to add this: As I was checking out, the cashier mentioned that Rite Aid just reset all their diapers, so there are TONS of diapers that are 50% off. Not sure if this is local or not, but might be worth a peek!

    • kate

Good deal on the Purex…Buy: (2) Purex detergent or 3-in-1 for $6 and Use: (2) $1 Purex manufacturer coupon found @ purex.com your total due will be $4 and you get back $1 -Up Reward. So you get 2 purex for $3.

      • Avsextras

hiee….i cant find $1 off coupon for detergent its 0.35$ off coupon…..and $1 off for sheets…are 3 in 1 sheets included in the deal?

        • k8winn5

yes, my ad showed the 3-in-1 is included. I bought 2 yesterday and it worked.

    • Avsextras

hiee….this the first time i plan to shop at rite aid…this is what i plan to do:

      1. buy 1 motrin $3
      – $3 off Q
      = free with 3 up+
      2. buy 1 gillette pro glide razor $10
      -$4 off Q
      -3 up+
=$3 oop and then submit for SCR
does this sound correct? please help!

      • Avsextras

sorry forgot also can i do the schick razor deal and submit for rebate too? how do i submit for rebates?

        • kate

For the rebate go to riteaid.com and about half way down the page you will see Single Check Rebate. Click that and here you will need to sign up for the SCR. Once signed up, you will need to select which rebate you are requested, which would be the pro glide razor. Next you will need to enter the store#, register #, and transaction #, which can all be found at the top of your receipt. If this is the only rebate you plan on having this month then you can go ahead and request your rebate to be mailed to you. If you may have another purchase with a rebate this month then you need to wait to request a rebate b/c you can only request a rebate check once a month. Hope this helps.

          • Avsextras

            thanx kate :)

        • Sue

You have to sign up on their website for the SCR's and then enter your receipt info. For the mail-in rebate, you have to go to the link on this site and fill in the form and then print it and mail it in.

          • Avsextras

            thanx :)

    • k8winn5

So I went to Rite Aid finally and the 50% off on the Finish product was priced at $5.49 and the Air Wick was $6.99 at my store, so it was pretty close to being the $6 I posted earlier. I ended up paying $4.94 for about $60 worth of stuff!! I also decided to swap out the cottonelle with Cheerios, since we had a good bit of toilet paper at the house and needed the cereal. Thank you Rite Aid for all my free stuff!!

    • Jennifer

I didn't have any problems with the new UP system. I was going to do three transactions, but the cashier said that that wasn't necesssary, that the UP rewards for all participating items would print out on one receipt. I was anxious, but it worked! I made three UP purchases in one transaction and got $6 to use for next time.

      • Susan

It will ONLY work if you aren't purchasing multiples of the SAME item in one transaction. You could, for example, buy the Motrin and Colgate in the same purchase and receive up rewards for both. However, you could not buy 2 Motrins in the same transaction and expect to get double up rewards for them. You would have to buy them separately.

    • Misty

Someone may have already posted this but I went to Rite Aid Sunday to do my shopping and I did the Pantene deal. • cashier

They don't cause the +Up to print. I tried it on Sunday. I had the same thought, and as an employee, I decided to give it a whirl and know in case a customer thought of it. I studied the ad later on, and it does mention the reg. retail in the flyer, although it doesn't say it has to be on product that is [outside of the week's sale] $4.49-$4.99. It didn't print though. We had one customer ask about it, and we just made a +Up for them and said that as long as they bring it back to us, we'd honor it as a +Up on the next transaction, but other stores may not. They came back tonight and I manually entered a $3 RA coupon to replace the +Up they didn't get on Tuesday.

    • Frugal ME

I havent read all of the comments below so forgive me if anyone has said this:
I went in RiteAid last week and was so excited to use the new UP reward program. I purchased two pantenes and got my 3 UP rewards. I then rolled them into another Pantene purchase. The transaction went really smoothly. I went back today to purchase a few things that I needed. I made one transaction with the same Pantene with coupons and once again I earned 3 UP rewards. When I went to roll them into some toothpaste I was purchasing, the cashier stopped me and said that I COULD NOT USE MY UP REWARDS WHEN USING COUPONS ON A PURCHASE THE SAME DAY THAT I EARNED THE REWARDS!!!! Needless to say I put the remaining of my merchandise back and left… I will be calling corporate, the cashier said that they had just been told today by corporate that this was the new policy….

      • Susan

Guess its at store's discretion–my store didn't care at all when I stood there and kept rolling my up rewards over and over.

      • Jenni

That sounds wonky. I'll be interested to hear if this is actually corporate's decision, or a cashiers misinterpretation. At my Rite Aid, ALL of the employees were exasperated with corporate over the total lack of training when it came to the new wellness/UP program.

    • Tyler E.

Awesome day! I went and bought 6 Motrins (seperate transactions) with three colgates. At my Rite-Aid, there was a Colgate Total that had a free toothbrush on it. It didn't ring up as one with the UP rewards at the sale price, but the it qualified and so the cashier and manager fixed it and gave me the 2 UP dollars and the sale price. Left there (after $66+ worth of stuff) with 13 UP dollars for next week!

    • Samplesfun

      hiee

This is the first time i am planning to shop at rite aid…can someone pls tel me if the scenario is right?

      1. buy 1 motrin $3
      – $3 off
      = free 3+up
      2. buy 1 gillette proglide $10
      buy 1 schick $7
      buy 1 colagte $3
      buy 1 finish $6
      ————–
      = 26
      – $5 off $25 q
      – $4 off gillette
      – $5 off schick
      – $1 off schick video q
      – $1 off colgate
      – $3 off finish man q
      – $4 off finish video q
      ———————–
      = $3
      – 3up from 1st transaction
= everything free ….will this work?

      • Susan

Yes–I would use the up reward right after the 5 off 25 coupon, though, and then the rest of the coupons. Sometimes the up reward won't go through at the very end if you're even one penny under the up reward value (before tax). The up reward won't help eat up your tax—but coupons will. (If your subtotal is $2.94, a $3 up reward won't go through. However, if you use the up reward early on in the transaction, the register won't beep at the end, even if you continue to use coupons.) Hope this makes some sense.

        • Samplesfun

okie :) thank u so much!

      • AminehDestin

Don't be disappointed if this doesn't work for you. Policy states that one of your Finish coupons should be modified down. No coupons or rewards should ever eat up your tax. It is considered fraudulent on the stores part for not making sure that the coupons only go towards the item listed. The Finish product is $5.49, so they should scan the $3 man. coupon, and then manually type in the VV coupon at $2.49. You're supposed to pay tax on every item purchased. It still gives you all of the product for about .88 + tax to do it the right way.

    • Brandi

I have made several trips to Rite Aid but I will say this was my best!

      1 Finish Quantumatic Kit (5.49)
      1 Air Wick Freshmatic (4.99)
      2 Pantene Shampoo (7.00)
      1 Colgate Proclinical (2.99)
      1 Motrin PM (3.00)
      2 Almond Joy (B1G1 .88)
      1 Clearasil (Clearance item 2.74)
      1 Redbull-(2.29)–just because I wanted one ;)
      $31.84 including tax

      – $5 off $25 Rite Aid q
      – $3 off Finish man q
      – $4 off Finish Rite Aid q
      – $4 off Air Wick
      – $1/2 off Pantene
      – $1 off Colgate
      – $1 off Motrin PM
      – $0.50/2 off Almond joy Rite Aid q
-$3 off Clearasil Rite Aid q
-$ 0.88 for free candy bar
      – $8 up rewards from beginning of the week
      Total OOP= $ 0.46 &
$ 8 UP Rewards for next time!

WOO HOO! I love it ;)

      • Elizabeth

Brandi, do you have any clue as to where you found the Quantumatic Man. Q? All I have are catalina q's with $3 off and Rite Aid doesn't take catalinas from other stores. At least they didn't take my diaper catalinas. Thanks!

        • Sue

You can go to finishdishwashing . com (leave out spaces), then click on coupons and offers and print it.

        • Brandi

          I got the man. q from finishdiswashing.com :)

    • Sue

I had an amazing trip to Rite Aid yesterday. I went in with $15 Up Rewards. I bought:
1 Zyrtec (completes both allergy rewards offers; will receive $45)
1 Olay on Clearance (hopefully this will complete skin care rebate; will receive $30)
2 digital key chains/photo frames (reg. 19.99, on clear. for 4.99: Christmas presents)
      1 gallon milk
      2 Purex Laundry sheets
      1 Colgate
      2 Mounds Candy Bars
1 Nice & Easy Hair Color (will receive $3 SCR)

I spent a total of 8.01 plus tax and have $3 UP rewards left. What makes this even better is that the Up rewards that I went in with were from Motrin that I bought earlier in the week, paying only tax. So that is actually all of the above plus 5 boxes of Motrin for 8.01 plus tax.

      • Sue

Earlier in the week I also bought 2 Finish dispensers and 1 refill for 53¢ plus tax. The refill were tagged for the 50% off, but the cashier had to modify the price. The refill took care of the overage from the coupons. So for 8.54 plus tax I got
        the list above,
        5 boxes of Motrin
        2 Finish Dishwashing dispensers
        1 Finish refill
And I have $3 Up rewards left.

    • Jori

Ok, so I am new to rite aid… Is RA like Wags with the Up Rewards? Like if I purchase the Pantene get the rewards, then I do the same Transaction again and use the rewards from my previous transaction- will they print again? I hope this wasn't to wordy to understand.

      • Sue

        Yes, they will print again.

        • Jori

          Thanks!

    • Jenni

I have continued to have a problem with UP rewards not printing on my receipt beyond my first transaction. So far it hasn't printed one of my Motrin PM rewards (even though it printed them prior to this transaction, and more since that transaction), and it missed a Colgate UP reward. The Rite Aid employees had no idea what to do. I'm pretty frustrated, but I am just going to write corporate and let them know about the problem and ask them to (please) somehow get my $5 in UPs back to me. (It also didn't print a Huggies UP from my very first transaction with my card)

Has anyone else gotten an answer from corporate on this issue?

      • Jenni

Okay, I just called Rite Aid's customer service number listed on their website (in the “Contact” tab – 1-800-RITEAID) and in the autoprompt selected “Wellness Plus”, and after giving my card number, was eventually connected to a very helpful man who went through all 3 receipts with me, and confirmed that I would be sent “coupons” for the total amount of the UP rewards that did not print. I assume they can be used on (nearly) anything, like the UP Rewards, but I'll have to wait and see when they arrive.

He confirmed that there is (currently, at least) no way for cashiers or managers to “fix” this that is (technically) allowed by corporate, and that we need to call this number to get this fixed (again, -currently-). I have high hopes that this bug will soon be worked out one way or another. He also confirmed that this is happening all over, and they aren't sure why it's doing it yet, but they are trying to get it fixed.

        • cashier

We got something telling us what to do at store level if the +Up's don't print. I thought it was from corporate, but maybe it was a district thing. We were told, if it doesn't print, return the item and try it again (it could be a satellite issue) and if it still doesn't print, double check the ad that it's the right item for the reward, and if it is, Re-do the purchase, modifying the item to the “it's like paying” price. We've also given customers “mock” +up's that they can bring back in to our store (others may not accept them) that we just enter manually as RA coupons. The print out also said that if a customer doesn't want any of those options, they can call corporate and get the coupons mailed to them, like you did. The next time you have a problem, ask the manager on duty, if there's any way for them to roll the missing +Up in to the next transaction like they would had it printed. They may be willing to do like we're doing, and that way it works exactly like the program is intended, with the reward being on a separate purchase.

          • Jenni

I actually had one of the cashiers I've been dealing with do just that, when there wasn't a coupon involved in the purchase. When there was a coupon involved in the purchase, they seemed unwilling to pull my then-not-used-coupon out of there drawer so that I could get the same amount off of the re-purchased item. It was a small fiasco. But I am getting it fixed by corporate now, so no big deal. We are all, couponers and RA employees alike, learning this new system together.

Not all Rite Aid cashiers are equal, sadly. Some are really great, and even excited to learn how to coupon from me, and then others just are not very well trained, and out of their lack of knowledge, make checking out a test of patience and politeness. But it's worth being patient, and educating them along the way, if possible. Rite Aid can totally compete with Wags and CVS now!
