    • Hey Jenny- do you know of any good scenarios that use the “Buy $50 in J&J products, get $25 rebate”? I was hoping there’s what that costs very little out of pocket. I know we can use the $5/$25 for it, but I guess only one, huh.
      Thanks!
      Jamie

    • Jamie, if you’re talking about the scr for Rite Aid, you do not have to purchase all these items in one tranasaction. You can do them in as many transactions as you want, and then enter all the receipts online (or mail-in), and they add up.

      HTH!

    • I have a question – is the Banana Boat sunscreen available this week also? I am out and need some sunscreen tomorrow – but there are 5 of us – so we need alot and I am looking for a good deal.

    • Lori

      *FYI*
If anyone had trouble with the Orajel Mail-In Rebate link from 2 weeks ago, I sent the company an email stating I could see the rebate but the link to print it did not work. They responded saying the promo had end the day AFTER they took the incorrect link off their site. So I emailed them back stating I found it funny they waited one week to respond to me as well as it be odd that they took the link down the day before they responded. I got an email 2 days ago saying they were sending me a refund in the mail and I should receive it in 7-10 days! Just a heads up if anyone else had the same problem :)

    • Dianne

Is there a simple way to explain to the Rite Aid cashiers and manager about using B1G1 and B1G1 coupons to make items free? My RA people are very nice, but they don’t get it and I get confused when I try to explain. Thanks!

    • Veronica

I am new to Rite Aid. Do you have to wait until the end of the month to submit your rebates for your check or can you submit them multiple times each month instead of having to wait all month to get your money back? Does this make sense? For instance, if I go this week and do some rebate transactions, can I go immediately and ask for my check and then go again next week and submit another for those different transactions? Thanks.

    • Misty

The link is not “linkable” at the top of the page where it says “For the full ad go here”….has anyone else had this problem?

    • Debbie

      Diane,
Here is what Jenny had to say in another post. It helped me. Hope it helps you.

B1G1 sale with a B1G1 coupon and how it works:

First, just trust that it does. If you need to know why, like me just think about how the register works. This is the best explanation that I have come across:

I buy 2 items that are on sale b1g1.

The register checks to see that two of that item were scanned then it then subtracts the cost of 1 item from my total.

      I then use a b1g1 coupon.

The register checks again to see if two items were scanned then it subtracts the cost of one item from the total again.

    • Kim

The B1G1 was confusing to me at first. But then, a few weeks ago Rite Aid had their candy B1G1. I had about 5 B1G1 coupons and 3 free coupons from the chocolate giveaway on Friday. The way I explained it to another shopper was the store sale is giving me one candy bar for free and with the coupon the manufacturer is giving me one free. So, I got 2 candy bars for free. The deal with that scenario was one candy bar was ringing up for $.88 and the other was ringing up for free.

With some B1G1 deals, the stores will cut the price in half and each item will ring up at a reduced cost. Even with that scenario, with a coupon you can get some good deals.

    • Jess

    • Buffy

Do all rite-aids use overage? I’m working on a deal to use with the stay free (where you make $1) and I want to make sure it will let me have overage – also, when using overage I need to use this in the same transaction correct?

    • Linda

No stayfree Q’s in my area (Summerville, sc). Darn, I really needed to stock up on these!

    • monneysavingmom.com had a deal posted for the stayfree pads where you buy 12 in 1 trans and 10 in another- use b1g1 $5off25 fill w/ other rebate and coupon items and then also get the $25 j&j rebate card. hope this helps:)

    • forgot to add: I went to 2 different stores (not close to eachother) and picked a variety of sizes leaving at least 4 of each kind. I was careful not to totally clean them out as I hate when others do that:)

    • Cori

How do you know if your stuff qualifies for the SCR from the receipt? I have no indication that I am getting SCR? i can’t even tell when I get on the site?

    • Chantelle

My Rite Aid did not have the Wet Ones on for $1.99. They were $3.29. Also, my Rite Aid is not carrying the Banana Boat sunscreen, even though it is in the circular they have at the front of their store.

    • Sheri

Anyone having problems finding the Stayfree coupon from today’s SS? I must be blind! :-)

      • Jenny

        Sheri,

These were regionally released so some papers did not get them :(

    • pat

I attempted to use the B1G1 Stayfree q at my Riteaid today and was told I could not use them because I was already getting one free?

    • Angel R.

I have noticed that the shelf tags don’t always reflect the sale prices at Rite-Aid. You can have a clerk do a price check for you to make sure the price is what you expect before you purchase the items. Everything we’ve bought on sale has come up right even though the shelf tags were regular price. Got some good deals. Thanks, Jenny!

    • Stephanie S

you can find the stayfree BOGO coupons at thecouponclippers.com

    • denise skelton
    • Kristen

Can you use the $5 off $25 BEFORE coupons? Thanks!

    • Donna Meeks

Just talked to a customer rep at rite aid. He confirmed what my store in Cullman told me. They will only exept 1 Internet printed coupon per transaction.

    • Amber

If I wanted to do the buy $50 and get $25 gift card in on transaction and I hit $50 and then coupon it down below the $50, do they still count that as spending $50 to get the gift card? They do at other stores, but I just wanted to see if anyone knows if this works at Rite Aid.

    • Jaunna

Went to Rite Aid bought 10 packs of stayfree pads. Used 5 b1g1 coupons they charged me $1.00. The clerk said they have to charge me something. Still awesome deal but I thought they were free.

    • Cynthia

My RiteAid does not have the Vextra CD player for $29.99. It is listed as $39.99. Has anyone else had this problem? The local RiteAid circular does not list this item.

    • I’m grinning broadly. This is the first time I’ve tried Rite Aid. I went to three stores before I found one that would use the stayfree BOGO coupon with the BOGO sale. The first store refused outright, the second store let me buy 1 get 3 free, and the 3rd store finally let me get the deal. I did go with the buy 1 get 3 free. I also got a Dove Clinical protection on each transaction, using a printable $2 off 1. Also had a $5 off 25 for each transaction. If everything works out like it is supposed to, I should get a $25 Rite Aid gift card, $10 SCR. I spent a total of $17.46, including tax, so I should actually make $17.54, and have all the loot besides. If only that second store would have cooperated!

    • Angel R.

Has anyone ordered the Stayfree coupons from thecouponclippers.com? Do they work?

      • Jenny

        Angel,

I highly recommend them, I have used them numerous times and they are always fast and always right.

    • Dionne

For the Degree Clinical on July rebate this week only, can I purchase it today (June 30) and still qualify for the July rebate or do I need to wait until tomorrow (July 1) for it to actually qualify for a July rebate?

    • Andrea

      Hey gang

Just FYI, the Dove Clinical Strength has the same SCR as the Degree deal. If you have the ‘Family Is It’s Own Reward’$2 coupon it’s for either Degree or Dove. I only mentioned this because I was pleasantly surprised to find that out at my Rite Aid. Personally, I prefer Dove to Degree. Yay!

    • becky

The downtown Baltimore Rite Aid does not accept b1g1 coupons for the free Stayfree.

    • Tracey

The way I always explain to cashier’s regarding BOGO sales and using a BOGO coupon is: the store is giving one if one is purchased, correct? Yes. Well, the manufacture is purchasing one for me. RiteAid get’s their money from the manufacturer (coupon value plus 8%) instead of me. So even though I am getting both free, one is from RiteAid and one is from the manufacturer.

MOST of the time this clears up the confusion. Sometimes I still have to call customer service to tell them to put it thru. Even Mgrs don’t get it sometimes. HTH!

    • Tracey

      Becky,

Contact RiteAid customer service. They just think they can’t accept them cause they don’t understand.

    • Cathy

I went to Rite-Aid and the Manager said that it was fraud to use a BOGO with a BOGO sale and he said that it states on the coupon that you can’t use it with the sale. I read it and then asked him to show me where it states that so he read it and he said oh well normally it says it cannot be used with a sale or other offer, but it does not say anything. He let me use one of the coupons, but then he let me use the free chocolate coupons with the BOGO sale so I got 10 free candy bars. Go figure! I am going to try another Rite-Aid. I tried to explain it to him but he just said it was fraud.

    • Joelle

      Jenny –

How can you use a BOGO coupon and $1 off coupon to make a profit when it seems like a lot of the rite aids won’t even allow you to get them free let alone make a profit?

    • Jane

I posted a comment earlier but I don’t know what happened. Anyway, I went to Rite-Aid yesterday and the manager would only let me use one of the BOGO coupons for the stayfree. He told me it was actually fraud. I tried to explain it to him but he didn’t seem to understand and told me that it says somewhere on the coupon that it cannot be used with another offer. I asked him to show me where and he didn’t even read it. So I read it and told him it didn’t say anything so he read it and said well it normally does. Anyway, he still only let me use the one even though he is saying it is fraud. But then he did let me use the free chocolate with the BOGO sale.

    • Jane

Tracey – I just contacted the rite-aid 1-800 number and I was hung up on. I asked if I could speak to someone who could help me and she said no maam that is our policy and hung up. So I called back and spoke to someone else and they told me the same thing that you can not use a BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale but he did take my name and number and will have someone in management call me. Has anyone else contacted Rite-Aid and heard otherwise. Please let me know.

    • Angel R.

Jaunna (28) – Where do you live? What Rite-Aid do you shop at?

Has anyone had luck in the Charleston area using the BOGO coupon on the BOGO deal?

    • Lorie

I had no problem with the BOGO deal at my store. I got 6 packages of StayFree using 3 BOGO coupons and got them all free! He did have a problem taking my $1 internet printable for the Wet Ones. He said that Rite Aid does not take internet printables and I told him that I knew that they did not used to take them, but the policy has recently (in the last 3 months?) changed and that they do now. I had contacted Rite Aid Customer Service by email about 2 months ago and was told that yes, they do take them as long as they are under $5 – too bad I didn’t have that printed out to show him – but I did tell him about it and said that we could call the 1-800 Rite Aid if he wanted to ask. He finally took it – it was only a $1, and he took all 3 of the Stay Free coupons, so what was the big deal?? He was pretty nasty about it though, so I have once again contacted the Customer Service Rep at RiteAid who had helped me before.

    • hi,
noticed that jenny said that there were still “family is it’s own reward” booklet on ebay. How exactly do i look it up on ebay’s search engine? i’ve put “family coupon booklet”, “publix coupon booklet”…etc.

thanks so much for your help!!! desperately seeking booklet!!! LOL!

      • Jenny

        amber,

search for the individual coupons that are in the booklet. Like the breyers coupon or ragu etc. They are selling them by the coupon rather than buy the book. Then the person that is selling one coupon from the book is probably selling others and you would get free or reduced shipping on the other coupons. You will end up with 10 or so of each coupon.

    • Dana

i found several things at my local rite-aid here in birmingham that were priced much higher than the prices you have listed. i had a cashier scan them to make sure since often the shelves don’t match the sale prices. they rang up at the higher price which didn’t make them a good deal even with the coupons. these were scr items, so there was no advertised price in a circular. has anyone else had this problem? specifically i am talking about the wet ones, degree clinical strength deodorant and the glade sense and spray. they rang up many dollars more than what they should have. what’s up with that?

    • Faith

I will not likely be going into any RITE AID again.
They did not want to take the B1G1 coupon, but after explaining to them that it was a manufacturer coupon that just so happened to be valid during their B1G1 sale they agreed. However they then refused to use the $1.00 coupon. I explained that I was getting 2 items and should be able to use 2 coupons. I ended up surrounded by store manager and district manager who happened to be in the store. They acted as if I were trying to take money out of the register. I told the district manager to scan it and see if it would not work. He refused and asked me to leave. Note I was also going to purchase the Banana Boat B1G1 with a $2.00 off, it was not as if they would have taken money out of the register to hand over.

      So…CVS, Kroger, Publix, Ingles…Bravo
      Rite aid NEVER AGAIN

    • Lorie

      Faith (Post #47),
If I were you, I would email their corporate office and let them know about this. You can do this through their website, http://www.riteaid.com and then use the contact us link and send them an email. I emailed them yesterday and already received a response from a customer service rep. She said they forwarded my email (with a complaint about not taking my internet printables and the way the asst. manager treated me and suggestions that I made) to someone in management. She said that I would hear from them within 24 hours! I would definitely report it!

    • Lorie

It’s me again – I just had the best experience with a Rite Aid district manager today! He called me in regards to the email I sent and asked if there was anything he could do for me – he wanted to keep my business! I told him that the only reason I had emailed was because I didn’t want to have the problem again. He said that he personally went to the store today and did a coupon training with all the people and posted the coupon policy at all the registers! He said that his plans are to do this at all his district’s stores! Great customer service!!

    • Lynette

Lorie – Did he say anything about the BOGO coupon for a BOGO sale because when I called the corporate office I had two different people tell me that it is rite-aid policy not to accept coupons for a sale like that because you can’t get them both for free. ?????

    • Rite Aid Road Block

Went to Rite Aid in Atlanta today and was told that the $5 off $25 was after coupons. I have always used it before coupons without a problem. I asked for a Mgr. and she said it was a new rule. Anybody else run into this?

    • Angel R.

I bought 4 packs of Stayfree at the RiteAid in Goose Creek, SC, yesterday and only paid 64 cents. They accepted my two BOGO coupons. Sweet!
