    • Valerie Parris

Hey, I'm having an issue with printing the list. Its coming up as null. weird.

      • Sorry about that! I got them all fixed so it should work fine now.

        • Valerie Parris

          Thanks Jenny!

    • Bamabobbie

Godd to see Rite Aid out so early. Thanks for your hard work.

      • Bamabobbie

        Good, sorry.

    • Michelle J

Is there a limit on the Johnson's deal?

    • Bballgal246

can you use all of your up rewards at one time to pay for other items?

      • Suemh

Yes, as long as they are rewards, and not coupons.

    • betsy

thanks so much for the list! quick question — with the $5 off $25 coupon, do you have to have $25 worth of stuff AFTER using all other coupons, or before?
      thanks!!!

      • I love Rite Aid

NO!! You MUST have $25 prior to any coupons. MAKE SURE YOU USE YOUR $5 off $25 COUPON FIRST!!!!! Then use all others. If you don't, it won't work. I have had NO problems doing this. I always give the coupons in order as Jenny lists them. Good luck :)

      • grace

their policy allows it too and mostly, the cashiers are fine about using your 5/25 first

    • Katkoupon

Thanks Jenny! Can I use the $5/$25 VV from earning 20 points, followed up by the $5/$25 non-rx RA Wellness+ coupon (also under VV) in a 2nd transaction?

      • Aminehdestin

You can split transactions and use all of your $5 off coupons in separate transactions. You just can't print 8 of each and split transactions and use the same coupon b/c they are monitoring them now w/your wellness card so that the program is done the way it was meant to be from the beginning. But for months now there have been 3 each month and if you want to use them all in the same week, or even day, it's not a problem. Some stores will let you use 2 if you go over $50, we're not supposed to, but it does make it easier than splitting transactions so ask your cashier which would be best for them.

        • Katkoupon

Thanks Aminehdestin! You know, I used to only shop CVS, but a few weeks ago I signed up at Rite Aid during the Neutrogena Clinical moneymaker. So now I shop both each week. I am knew to this system, and I don't know how things normally go, but Rite Aid is getting more of my business now, so many great deals! Thanks to Jenny for awesome work!

    • FYI – Our Publix is NOT honoring the Rite Aid 5/25 Video Rewards coupon. Try to find and print the other one if you can. She said that they didn't have a similar program and therefore it wasn't valid. She was very nice about it, but I just wanted y'all to know.

      • grace

ours too does not, which I understand

    • wog703

Thanks so much for getting the Rite Aid list done early. Because I live up north, this is the only store I follow from your site; but Saturday afternoon is so difficult to find time to look at it.

    • Jacsmom

Is there going to be another PDF 5 off 25 coupon? My Publix won't take anything that says the video stuff on it. :) I use these each week on my groceries.

      • Bryarsmom

I suggest you save the pdf on your pc for future use-works for me :)

    • Sslovesagoodbook

Can I go up to the counter with pampers and wipes and use a pampers coupon to buy the pampers and the buy pampers get wipes free for the wipes?

      • Katkoupon

I am wondering the same thing. Also the wipes are B1G 2nd half off, and I have coupons for wipes. I am hoping to buy (1) Pampers Diapers and (2) Pampers Wipes and use (3) MQ…Free wipes wyb diapers, $1.75 off any pampers diapers, and $1 off pampers wipes OR use (2) MQ…free wipes wyb diapers and $3 off when you buy diaps & wipes. Anybody know if I can do either of these??? Thanks!

        • Suemh

I believe that either one of those scenarios would work. You could purchase the diapers and one pack of wipes first, using your 1.75 & wyb q's, then purchase the second pack of wipes, using the $1 off wipes q and the +Up reward you just got from your first transaction.

        • SPA78

You can use the 1.75 on the diapers, the free wipes with with that purchase, and another coupon for the wipes if you go for the b1g150%. In essesence

          8.99 pampers
          3.49 wipes
          1.75 wipes
          use
          -1.75 diapers
          -3.49 (free wipes coupon)
          -1 manufa coupon

I would save your other free wipe coupon for a different transaction.

        • Katkoupon

Thanks SPA78 & Suemh! That makes sense now, thanks a bunch!

    • cassia2

FYI – you missed the rebate associated with the profoot 3/$15 sale:

      August 2010
      Rebate #2
      Valid from 07/25/10 to 08/28/10
      $10.00 Rebate
      Profoot
      Purchase Three (3):
      • Miracle or Triad Insoles
      • Pump Pouches
      • Flex-Tastic
      • Heel Rescue Cream, 16 oz

Makes it a much better deal with the rebate. :)

    • Jenny

Thanks so much Jenny! What a blessing you've been to our family! And thanks for the nice neat formatting–your lists are always so easy to read!

    • Amyliz0821

Can someone tell me if the +UP rewards work like CVS ECB? (i.e, can you use more than one, can you use them in addition to other coupons, etc?)

      • Daniel

Yes you can use more than one and other coupons.

        • JJ

I went to 3 different Rite Aid stores in my area. Managers at all three said that I can only use one +UP reward per transaction and I must buy the “qualifying” product as defined on the +UP reward (for example: “hair care items,” “grocery items,” or “seasonal purchases”). Recently, I've gotten +UP reward that read $1 +UP reward wyb $10 of hair care items. That stinks! The managers also said that the +UP reward do indeed expire and must be used before the expiration date. I've given up on Rite Aid. CVS is so much more coupon friendly.

          • Suemh

These are not +Up Rewards, they are +Up Coupons. Only one of these coupons can be used per transaction. +Up rewards are not “product-specific”. At the top, they have “$ off any non-prescription purchase”. Then it has a bar code. Below the bar code it says “from the purchase of…”. Then the small print. On the coupons it usually say “$1 off $10 dollar purchase of …”. The bar code is closer to the bottom and it states “One coupon per transaction”. HTH!

          • RebeccaFer

Yes, Suemh is right. JJ, you need to buy the specific items in order to receive the +Up reward but once you receive the $ award, you can buy anything non-prescription. All items under Jenny's +Up Items List will give you the reward you are looking for. HTHs!

          • grace

JJ, I think what you are talking about is different from the up reward that are in the advert. the ones you are talking about are like coupons and yes, the managers were right, you can only use those towards the qualifying product. As Suemh has said, they are coupons and you cannot use more than one in the same transaction

      • Brencoup

        yep sure does only better!

    • Jennifer

Last time I went Rite Aid, the cashier wouldn't let me use my up+ rewards on another transaction that day. She said I had to come back. I've been looking for their policy about this, so i can take it in next time. Does anyone know where I can find it?

      • Bryarsmom

That's simply not true-she almost sounds like a WGS cashier, making it up as she goes along. Don't you just adore those folks?

      • Catvarner

I just got back from RA, On my second transaction I used 6 Up + rewards reciepts (totaling $10) that I had just earned on the prior transaction. I ended up with about $55 woth of stuff for $6 ( after anticipated rebates – maybe less – I'll have to see how the register “saw' some of my dental purchases for that rebate) I love my Rite Aid!

      • Gina

I would try a different cashier. Since RA has started the UP rewards, I have had cashiers at two different locations encourage me to do separate transactions on the same visit to get the best deal. They were enjoying the process with me!

      • grace

my cashier yesterday was awesome, she asked me if I want to separate the transactions, since I was only buying two things and use the up reward towards the next item which did not have an up reward. this is all new to them and they are all learning as we go

      • kim

Yesterday, my cashier told me I could only redeem ONE Up reward from the previous week at a time. That would mean, I would have to go in every day next week to have different transactions! I just used one and moved on. I am calling customer service tomorrow to get an official answer, because if that is the case it would never make sense to shop at RA. And I love RA!

PS – this wasn't about doing the same transaction more than once. I had purchased three items and wanted to use two of my UP rewards to pay for them and she would only take one. Had nothing to do with tax either.

    • Sonia

I was going to mention there is a SCR rebate (#63) for the Almay $15 purchase $3 rebate or $25 purchase and a $6 rebate.

Also there is an SCR rebate (#66) for the Deodorant when you buy 2. $3

The Gillette Fusion Razor also has a SCR rebate (#78) $5

Last thing I can think of because I've been really tracking this there is a Vitamin Rebate too. #563 purchase $30 worth & you get $5 Rite Aid gift card. There's a whole selection they will take.

      • Guest

Make sure you get the gillette fusion PROGLIDE and not just a gillette fusion…I made that mistake and mine didn’t credit, even though it was marked in the store as qualifying…I’m going to try and call them though.

    • Phillis

I have a question. Has Rite Aid changed how many $5 off $20 or $5 off $25 coupons that you can use? If so, what is the new policy.

      • Val

You can only use each coupon once per wellness card.

      • Aminehdestin

They haven't changed it, but they did put something in place to track your usage so that the program is followed the way it was intended. You will only be able to use each coupon once, b/c it's now linked to your card. Since they're only supposed to be printed once anyway, nothing actually changed, they just got wise to people side stepping that rule and are trying to prevent losing money (ad perks, not RA b/c they are separate companies). The printable coupons that aren't VV aren't linked to your card yet, so if you have any other $5 off coupons (besides the one for registering your Wellness card) those are limited to how many you can print based on the site you get it from.

        • grace

          they no longer have 5/20

        • Rebecca

So, I printed two RA coupons from redplum today using zip 44666, and am wondering if I can go to redplum at my mom's house and print two more from her computer? Previously, I had been printing these $5/$25 coupons everywhere I go/can think of!!! Bummer if I won't be able to do that anymore!

    • Rachelmcelwey

Can some one tell me if the know if Rite Aide will have one of their $25 gift card coupons for a trasfered perscription?

      Thanks

    • Mharwell01

Does anyone know how the expiration date on the video values coupons is determined? In other words, does the date you play the videos or print the coupons determine the expiration date or is the expiration date the same regardless of when you watch and/ or print?

      • dizeigle

the same regardless when you watch it

      • dizeigle

the same regardless when you watch or print it

      • grace

dizeigle is right, however, at the end of the month, they disappear from your account, even if you have not printed them. It is best to watch them all early and print them off because it seems they also have a limit on how many they put out. there was a time the diapers one was no longer showing and some of us had not watched it. I go out there and watch them all and print them all off and have them since you can use them at other stores too

    • Ashley

I don't believe the Pantene is correct. The ad scan says 2 for $7 minus $1 off 2 q minus 1 on 2 UP reward. So they are $3.50 each, not $2.50 each.

    • kristifromchelsea

I have never shopped RA before and I thinking of starting. Does anyone know if the +up rewards can be used to purchase milk? Also does RA carry Barber's milk? Do you have to sign up for a card to scan? Thanks in advance for the help.

      • aczek16

okay, well you do need to have a wellness plus card. and the UP rewards can be used towards anything in the store (towards your next purchase). and i am not sure on the Barber's milk, sorry. hope that helped!

      • grace

you can use it for everything except prescription drugs, gift cards, they have a list on what you CANNOT use it on.

    • Joanne

here a quick q I can't help but to notice that on the bottom of the up rewards it now says limit 1 per household, anyone have any idea how to get around this? I get that they are trying to save money but if they are limiting it makes it harder on bigger families like mine. Are they basing it off your card you scan or just each transaction?

      • Sandy

They keep track of it using your wellness card. I'd imagine the only way to get around it is to get another wellness card, but this is a no-no!

        • Ant0288

          i hadn't noticed this…
i bought 2 herbal essences in one transaction today and got the 2 up then turned around and got 2 more in another transaction used the up reward to pay and it still printed another up reward… so either its one per transaction (which it has always been) or not all are limit 1…

          • Val

Are the four products that you purchased different types of Herbal Essences? I'm wondering if you buy the same exact products if only one Up Reward prints, but if you buy “different types” you'll get another Up. I hope this make sense. :)

      • grace

yes, beginning 08/01 they are limiting it to one reward per item per card, just the way CVS does it. I think it is ok to have two cards per family, one for each spouse

        • Guest

I heard it was one per household, and not per person…I can’t find it on the site right now though…does anyone know for sure?

    • Valeriejcm

      Here's my plan:

      Buy:
      Crest $2.49
      (2) Herbel Essences $2.50 each
      Pampers Diapers $8.99
      (4) Pampers Wipes $10.47 (BOGO 50%)
      Total before coupons $26.95
      Use:
      $5 off $25 RA coupon
      $1 off Crest
      $2.50 Free Herbel Essence Product
      $1.50 Pampers Diapers
      $3.49 Free Wipes BYB Diapers
      (3) $1 off Pampers wipes
      Total OOP $10.46 + tax
      – $5.50 Up Rewards = $4.96 Total

      • Stacy

I can't find the$1 off Pampers wipes coupon.
        Where did you find yours?
Thank you for your help :)

    • Valeriejcm

Looking at this again, I might use those UP rewards for a second transaction:

      Buy:
      Pampers Diapers $8.99
      (2) Pampers Wipes $5.24
      Use:
      $1.50 off Pampers Diapers
      $3.49 Free Wipes
      $1 off wipes
$5.50 UP rewards from previous transaction
      Total OOP $2.74 + tax

    • Jodielynn23

I usually get the AJC, but I'm in the Philadelphia area this weekend. I know the coupons will vary up here from the ones down there, but will there still be four coupon inserts? Or will that vary from down there as well?

    • Fallaya

Is $5.99 a good price for those RA baby wipes? I'm running low…

      • Pfsinnh

No. You can get baby wipes for free starting tomorrow (Pampers 72 ct.) when you buy a package of Pampers diapers. The jumbo packs are going back on sale tomorrow for $8.99 and if you get the Sunday paper you can grab the P&G coupons and get the coupons for the free wipes and $1.50 off any Pampers.

In addition to the coupons, you'll also get an UP's reward for $2.00 and you can also get a $2.00 single check rebate for the dipes.

If you specifically want the rite aid brand wipes I'm assuming that they are above 250 ct. and I believe that would be an okay price for a large package like that.

        • Pfsinnh

Okay, I looked up the RA baby wipes and they are a good deal after the $2 SCR. :)

    • Carolinagirl_320

are the $1 off wipes in sunday's ad also???

      • Pfsinnh

I'm not sure. I heard that from another source, too. I sure hope so!

      • marock

I already have the august P&G insert and I'm not seeing the coupon

    • Bockstie

I printed the baby orajel coupon but it is for a teething product. I don't imagine it can be used for the toothpaste?

    • ScottK

I don't think anyone has pointed out how SWEET the Crest Mouthwash/Oral B Pulsar deal is! If you get both, you spend over $25 and qualify for a $10 RA gift card!

      So you get 4 mouthwashes:

      4 mouthwashes $20
      1 Pulsar $5.99

      $26 – $5 off $25, -4 $2 mouth wash coupons, -$1 pulsar coupon
= $12 – $2 pulsar rebate, -$10 mouth wash rebate = FREE then you qualify for $10 RA giftcard. +$10 (giftcard) profit!

      • guest

The gift card for the Oral Care states: Rebate based on actual price paid (after any & all coupons are used).

        • Val

The rebates always say this but they have always been before coupons. Last week I purchased toothpaste with a coupon and the full $2.99 price was credited towards the oral health rebate.

          • Ant0288

the only way it becomes an issue is if you have to mail in the receipt for a rebate (because then they are hesitant to give you a rebate back for more than you paid… so you combine it with other trips if possible)… but they don't know what the coupons were for if you have multiple items because all it says is coupon… it doesnt ever say what its for

      • Lisaheidi

How did you use the coupons when they say they are for 946 ml size and the 4 mouthwashes for $20 are the 273 ml size? Is that dishonest to use the wrong coupon?

        • Guest

          Yes, it is dishonest.

          • 3monkeysmom

Actually the 1 liter Pro-Health is included in the 4 for $20. Coupon is for 946 ml and up. 1000 ml in a liter :-) No dishonesty, just smart coupon usage and conversion skills (or the ability to google said conversion skills) :-)

    • Brooke

Can't sleep ya'll, and oh boy are you guys going to love me. Scrolling through the internet and found a $1 LA Looks AND…..drumroll…. RA $5 off $25! Doesn't expire until 12/31. Zipcode 29680 will pull it up.

      • Ashley

        At Redplum!!

        • kaseyshadow

Its says a hannaford on it. Is that a reference to a store in your area? Not sure if it would work in Cola.

          • Val

When it prints it doesn't say Hannaford on it. It also has the Rite Aid bar code on it which makes me wonder if it will be limited to one per card like all the rest.

            • kaseyshadow

Thanks I'll print it and see what happens. All it can do is beep and I don't get to use it.

      • Nancy

        Thankyou!

      • Kelly

I found it but they wouldnt print!

      • Michelle

You totally ROCK, Brooke! I've been looking for another $5/$25 on Redplum for a while. Thank you!!

      • Rose_lunsford

still no LA looks or RA coupon. I printed ALL the offers with that zipcode. Bummer!!

        • Brooke

I checked for you and it is still there. Make sure you have it as 29680 under 25 miles.

      • cassia2

        Looks like it's gone.

    • Suemh

Has anyone received the gift cards for the Skin Care SCR offer in June. I requested mine on 7/11 and they have not arrived yet.

      • Val

They take awhile!!! I ordered mine June 4th, and didn't receive the gc until mid July!

      • Linda

I received mine about one week ago.

    • Hasfam

I'm new to the rite-aid system. I have a $3 UP and 2-$1 UPs from last week. Any suggestions how to best use them this week? Any scenarios you could suggest? Kind of need the pump primed from experts as they say.
      Thanks,
      Rock

      • Ant0288

you can use the up rewards like cash (of course only at rite aid), so you can use them all at the same time and either create your own scenario or use Jenny's…

    • chuckles

Anyone else having trouble printing the Redplum LA Looks gel coupon? I keep trying and it says it's printing but never prints. Everything else is printing fine. Thanks!

      • Robertsonsavings

I can't print it either. I have printed 2 other coupons off Red Plum but when I click the LA Looks one it doesn't print.

      • Bamabobbie

        Neither can I print it.

      • ScottK

It didn't print for me either, however when I got to the store they had 65 cent coupons stuck on them…I was happy to trade not using ink for 35 cents..haha

      • Christine

I had the same problem. I went to it again through the “money saving mom” blog and it happened to work. Love those free deals!!

    • Shopperkat

The Crest Pro Health rinse says 473 ml for $5 and the $2 coupon says 946 ml. so I'm thinking it can't be used for that scenario.

      • Erin

        There's 1000 ml's in a liter. It says 946 and up.

        • Shopperkat

I was actually looking at the Crest 3D multicare…which lists 473ml as the size on sale…so the $2 wouldn't work for me on that particular kind….so I'll get the Pro Health. Thanks for the help.

    • Brooke

Anyone else having issues with the employees at Five Forks on Woodruff Rd? Everytime I go in there I get somebody rude or trying to change the rules. For example, telling me they won't manually punch in my q from my EARNED and MAILED $30 coupon book when it wouldn't scan. I've chewed out the same rude woman 3 or 4 times now. I can't be sweet anymore. And yes, I chewed out the district manager who happened to be there today after they said I could use only 1 up per transaction. Sorry, that's news to me….let me see it in writing. Starting to feel like a total lunatic with these rude, not very bright people, but there's a time to be sweet and then there's not. Unfortunately, “there's not” has been working in my favor.

      • guest

that's crazy regarding the up rewards. i was a little nervous today because i had 6 up rewards i wanted to use (they were all in small amounts) and they all went through just fine, no beeps, no fussing from the cashier.
i would not use riteaid anymore if i could only use 1 up per transaction.

      • Kristy

I shop there on a regular basis and I have not had any problems really. The only one I had was two weeks ago when they had the Zegrid (sp) on sale and there wasn't a tag for it on the shelf so she couldn't give me a rain check. ARG! The manager at the one on Main St/Hwy 14 in Simpsonville ( next to the McD's) really knows his stuff. If you keep having problems at Five Forks try that one!

        • Brooke

Hey Kristy, let me know if someone trys to tell you the same thing about redeeming only 1 UP per transaction. I am often in different areas of town so I have done my shopping at like 6 different RA's, even Anderson and Williamston. Since the program started, I have never been told this until today(and I was just there 2 days ago as well). I'm obviously already fed up with the customer service that I've been getting on a weekly basis, so I just asked the district manager where he got this info and that I wanted to see it in writing. He said that's how they've been trained. I then told him we need to call corporate then(they weren't there). He repeated the same thing to me and I told him it has to be stated somewhere for the customer and that you can't run a company like that otherwise… you just can't.

Anyway, I've checked out the blogs and am seeing others being told this sporadically, not everyone. It occured to me and I was wondering if some of these employees are confusing the 1 UP reward per transaction with 1 UP “redeemed” per transaction…if anyone has any thoughts on that.

          • Pfsinnh

            I think that's exactly what's going on.

          • Kristy

I only tried to redeem 1 per transaction today I was trying to keep my OOP as low as possible. I recieved two today so depending on the sales next week I will try to redeem both of them in one transaction.

    • Aminehdestin

Apparently there is a new coupon policy/policy update. I'm not working right now, for a few weeks at least, but if anyone hears about it, I'll still try and get the news from my store and keep you guys informed in case there is a major change. Any questions, ask and I'll try to either answer, or get an answer for you!

      • Jess_3

There is new new coupon Policy that was mentioned on Coupon Crazy Chrys. Updated recently that mentions stacking and the up rewards coupons. However there is no Rite Aid Logo on it. I did a search for Rite Aid updated coupon policy and found it on another blog exact wording with the logo and the same format as the on posted on I heart Rite Aid.

    • Asmith

My cashier today indicated that they have a conference call tomorrow morning on coupons and he hopes it will make things clearer.

UP reward did not print for me today with the oral advantage toothbrush purchased the one in the ad but they rang up a different one and the up reward printed. They had no idea what to do if it didn't print.

Profoot insole and cream had $1.00 off coupon on package also profoot website has a smartsource coupon but the smartsource coupons will not scan at my Rite Aid

      • julies

our store manager here told us he had the same call tomorrow…he said to expect some changes….hopefully it won't be bad news, I love Rite Aid!!

        • Pfsinnh

I doubt it will be bad news. I think there has just been a lot of confusion over this whole UP's program and they want to make sure everyone is on the same page.

I believe that Rite Aid introduced the UP's rewards program to compete head on with CVS's Extra Care Bucks program which has been such a huge success, so it wouldn't make any sense to announce any negative news on that.

I know that there have been a lot of complaints about how many UP's rewards the customer can use at checkout. You can use as many as you like as long as the total does not go to zero or under. It's just like the Extra Care Bucks at CVS.

      • Karen

I hope they get things straightened out. Last week, my +UP rewards printed twice on the same receipt when I bought Huggies – I wasn't expecting that, but it set a precedent for me. Yesterday, thinking this was the regular policy I bought two of the Colgate Advanced and only 1 +UP reward printed instead of two. I didn't have time to mess with it so I just left. Oh, well.

        • Lrae17

Call RA corporate when you have time and tell them one of your rewards you didn't print. When you give them your receipt info., they'll send you the UP reward that didn't print in the mail. I'm expecing one this week to arrive that didn't print.

    • Bill

Why, when I register for the $5 off coupon it says, “Registration form not valid” or something to that effect??

      • Aminehdestin

Try either emailing, or calling during office hours. Calling may be best, because they could probably either walk you through it to see if something is wrong, or they may be able to register it for you. Remember, it's customer service, and you always get better CS when you're nice too! I work for the company, and I found that out calling about rebates once before when I got frustrated being passed from one person to the next. ;-P

        • Brooke

Remember, if you are dealing with horrible customer service where niceties, politeness, or manners are not returned, then feel free to squeak the wheel until you get the grease. ;-P

In the flyer, page 6, the caption says, “Oral health spend $25 get $10, spend $15 get $5 with single check rebates” Then it points to free gift cards–get a $10 gift card when you spend $25. –Here's my question: Is a gift card the same thing as scrs? I thought scrs were a check that you get back? Also, if you spend $25 and get a $10 gift card, can you also get the SCR for $10 when you buy 4 of the Crest health rinses? Thanks for your help! I haven't couponed at Rite Aid before.

      • Cindyrella

Yes, the gift card for the Oral Health Care Rebate is sent separately from the SCR, although it all shows up in your SCR account. (It will appear in a separate box from your August rebates, tho.) And, yes you should be able to do both!

        • Lrae17

WOW! So I could do a scenario like this???

          Buy 4 Crest Rinses $5 x 4 = $20
          1 Listernine Mouth Wash = $5.99
          Total: $25.99

          Use: $5 off $25
          (2) $2 off Crst Rinse (I only have 2 Qs)
          (1) $1 off RA Listerine Q
          (1) $1 off MF Listerine Q

          Pay OOP: $$14.99
Get Back: $10 RA Gift Card for $25 purchase in oral care products
$10 SCR for buying 4 Crest Rinses
$5 SCR # 560 for buying $15 worth or oral care products (maybe this is same as gift card???)
          +1 UP for Listerine Mouthwash

Total $6.01 profit (or $11.01 profit if the SCR #560 is not a gift card).

          Am I working this right????

          • Cindyrella

The $5 for buying $15 or $10 for buying $25 in Oral Care is the same rebate, so you would only get the (1) $10 RA Gift Card plus the $10 SCR on the Crest Rinses. You only have 2 Q's for the Crest? Why not buy 2 more papers, and then you'd have all those other coupons, too? The most expensive paper around here is $2 and the least is $1, so it'd be like getting free coupons, since you're buying the Crest anyway. Just a thought….

            • Lrae17

Thanks! Well, I was too late in getting a couple more Sunday papers. Also, the number listed for the gift card rebate and the Single check rebate for $5 SCR for $15 in oral care products are different numbers. Don't know if that means anything or not, but I'll just count on what you said. Thanks for replying!

      • Aminehdestin

There are some “special” rebates from time to time, but it's all done the same way. With these, you get a RA gift card. Some you'll get a Visa gift card (much more rare than the SCR Rite Aid gift cards!) or you can get little product things, like the Glam Bag this month. You're absolutely right about the double rebate too. That's the first rebate I did when I started working at RA, I spent I think $30 on certain products, and got a Listerine rebate with it ($10) and a Visa Gift card ($10) and after coupons I only spent something like $15 OOP to begin with, so I made a little more than $5 in the end. I was very happy with myself. If you do it, make sure you go in and request your gift cards as soon as you reach the best rebate (I don't know if it's a tiered one or not, if it is submit once you reach the highest!) because the extras like this do take longer to get to you. They're separate so that you can keep your monthly SCR going after you request the gift card. The $10 for Crest will be with your normal SCR, so don't request it yet, or you're done for the month!

    • julies

i have purchased enough to get the 'glam bag' SCR, it is already showing as qualified, can I submit for it now (it has a submit button seperate from the other SCR's & Oral GC I am working on) or do i need to wait until the end of the month like the regular SCR's???

      • Aminehdestin

You can submit it now. Anything that is separate, is just that. As long as there's no way of getting a better rebate (but the same rebate #, like spend $25 get $5 GC, spend $30 get $10 GC, spend $50 get $20 GC etc) you can submit as soon as you qualify. Just make sure after you hit it that it is truly separate when you submit! It'll ask if you're sure and tell you what you're submitting. All of the extra rebates like this, for Visa gift cards, RA gift cards or actual little gifts like this, take a little longer to get to you, so it's better to go ahead and submit it now. I did this one 2 years ago, and didn't receive the bag for almost 3 months. Same with a $10 Visa gift card, it was right at 7 months when I got it, because they didn't plan on the # of people to do the rebate and ran out of the gift cards. Oops. I think with the bag too, if it's the same this year, it's while supplies last. So you'll get it in with time to spare before the run out and you're out of luck!

    • Gscorbitt

Excedrin products (20-24 count) are on sale for $1.99. There is a $1.00 coupon from the newspaper coupon inserts on the 20-24 count products. I got Excedrin Migraine today for 99 cents! There are not UP rewards or SCR, but great price if you use Excedrin products.

    • Gamecockshan

      Here's another scenario:

      4 Crest Mouthwashes (4/$20)
      2 Herbal Essences Shampoo/Conditioner (2$5)
      Use: $5/25
      Use: (4) $2 off Crest Mouthwash from P&G 8/1
Use: B1G1 Herbal Essensses from the 8/1 paper (forgot which section)
      Total OOP: $9.50 + tax
      Submit for $10 SCR (mouthwash)

Grand Total Spent – You pretty much just pay tax.

I did this today but my $5/25 expired and I didn't have another one, so I paid $6.75 when it's all said and done. Not as good as it could have been, but not bad. I might return everything and get a $2/25 and re-buy. Has anyone done this before and if so, what was the store's reaction?

      • Brooke

They have a “post coupon” button. I have done this with a video values coupon several times that I lost or forgot on the way to the store, but haven't tried a $5/25. I could just imagine some eyeballs you might would get with the $5/25, but I'd go for it anyway. That's what the post coupon button is for so there shouldn't be any problem.

        • Brooke

By the way, just in case you aren't certain, just bring your receipt and the coupon. Good luck!

          • Gamecockshan

Thanks for that information. I decided not to ask. It wasn't like I forgot a coupon, I just didn't know mine had expired. So I will just keep what I have for the price I paid!

      • Aconsumer

Returning everything to get a coupon, in my eyes, is dishonest…I'm just saying…

        • Gamecockshan

I would never do anything dishonest. It would be just like Brooke says below, post coupon. I would still be purchasing all of the items.

    • Michelle

Can anyone confirm whether UP rewards are limited to one per wellness card as of today? I heard rumors that they were setting limits as of today, but I didn't test it out to see.

      • Laura Azabache RN

oh noooo!!!! I hope that is JUST a rumor because that is what makes me love RITE Aid so much….. that would be such a major bummer =(… maybe its a rumor =D

      • Val

Up Rewards have been all over the place. Some print more than once, some only print once, and some don't print at all!!! If you look at the ad though it does say only one Up Reward per household (which means one per wellness card).

        • AWidener429

Even though the ad says one per household, I'm not sure if that means one per wellness card. B/c if you have 2 cards but has the same phone number it might not give the 2nd card used the up b/c the 1st. card already got the up. I will be tring this out with a couple of my items, so I will post what happens.

      • julies

I believe that means, 1 Up per houshold of that ITEM! So if colgate has an up, you can only get 1, but if pantene has an up, you can get that 1 as well, 1 of each, per household. hope that helps

      • Lrae17

This is a bit confusing to me as well. When I talked to corporate on the phone last week the lady told me there was NO LIMIT on how many times you could get an UP reward for an item, but then I noticed in yesterday's circular that some of the items specify only one UP reward per household. Maybe the ones that don't specify you can have multiple rewards on??? All I know is that they're sending me an UP reward for a second purchase of same item that didn't print because corporate told me there was no limit.

      • Aminehdestin

In the ad, they all say “one per household” as of this week, but from what I just found out with my roommate going in and buying 2 more Monster Coffee drinks they do still print. He bought 2 yesterday, paid with $1 +Up from Pepsi the wk before, got a $1 +Up on that receipt, went in this morning to buy 2 more, expecting it to be 2 for $4, he used the +Up from Sunday, and another printed on his receipt. I think it's probably that each transaction will be limited to one [again] and it's trying to deter people from doing 8 transactions back to back to get and roll the rewards. Our DM said to limit transactions to 2 at a time. Otherwise it takes up too much cashier time that other customers may need. Plus, if you get 4 +Ups and then on the 5th purchase it doesn't print one out, you won't get the coupon mailed by corporate b/c it says in plain English in the ad, that you're limited to one. That becomes an “implied limit” even though you know for a fact it's not a limit of 1. We'll see. The updated coupon policy hadn't been discussed yet when I checked in, but I'm sure it has something to do with this. We'll all know soon I'm sure.

      • AWidener429

AS OF AUG.1 THERE IS A NEW COUPON ACCEPTANCE POLICY. Just wanted to let everyone know Just ask your manager/cashier and they should be able to give you a copy. Make sure that you get one b/c it does talk about doing returns on a transaction that you used coupons/+up rewards.

    • kjmiller

There's another good rebate to add that I spotted and is good this week:

Gillette Fusion ProGlide or Fusion Power ProGlide Razor at 9.99
Less: $5.00 SCR (offer #78, August SCRs)
Less: $4.00 off Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual or Power Razor in PG BrandSaver 8/01
      Makes it: 0.99 cents

I realize there's similar deals this week at Wags and CVS, but only want to make one drugstore stop this week!

    • kjmiller

Clarification on the Renu Multiplus Solution sale described above:

The offer is for a twin pack, so you won't be able to use two coupons. BUT, there is a coupon in the circular for $3 which combined with the $2 +UP reward would make it $5.99 (again for a twin pack of 2 -8 oz. bottles). I'm hoping to use with one of the $1 printables to make it $4.99. Cheers!

    • ChristyMy

To qualify for the SCR, do I have to buy all 4 of the Crest mouthwashes in the same transaction or can I buy them individually? I haven't been to Rite Aid yet but I'm afraid they won't have 4 for me to buy in 1 transaction.

    • ItsJustMe

No you do not have to buy all the items in the same transaction.

      • ChristyMy

        Thank you!

    • jessica

totally made out today! went for pampers easy up and they had the feel and learn on clearance AND THOSE COUNT!! was able to get the wipes and diapers for 3.23 and got the 2$ up rewards and will get the 2$ rebate!! LOVE RITEAID!

      • 3monkeysmom

I was just coming to post a similar find :-) Found the UnderJams for $5.99 and used a $1.50 coupon. I was just happy to get them for $4.49 and to my surprise the $2 UP printed off. Hoping it will qualify for the SCR :-) 49 cents for some UnderJams…..gotta love RiteAid….I daresay they've replaced CVS as my fave drugstore :-)

      • Msmelmag

I love RiteAid now too….I found a lg pkg of Pampers on clearance for 5.89, used a 3.00 off q and then got the 2.00 rebate! 89 cents for diapers for grandbaby!!!

    • SPA78

I love the RIte Aid in Holly Springs. Super nice people, and they never have issues with my coupon usage. Last week I went there to get the Purex sheets and they were out. The manager called another store to see if they had them…and they did! She offered to have them transferred I told her I would just go myself. Great customer service…i think her name was Ramona her husband is a manger at another Rite Aid!!!!

      • Wirog

Hi, I just moved to Holly Springs. Nice to meet someone else out here. Love the publix & kroger here, they are super nice and have not had the first problem with coupons yet at either. Any stores I should be aware of? Super Target already had problems.

    • jeanea

I purchased the Total 3-D toothbrush today for 2.49, used a 1.00 UP from last week, so I paid 1.49 for it plus tax but the 1.50 UP reward for the item didn't print. The manager could not figure it out so she gave me a store credt for 1.50.

    • dizeigle

Does anyone know what happened to the “Archives” link?

    • Gingiraffe

Great deal on Cokes not advertised:
12 pack cokes on sale 4/$10
      -$1 off VV Coupon
      Printed $2 +UP rewards
      Makes 4/$7!!!
Use with other stuff for $5/$25 and makes a GREAT deal on cokes!

      • Ashley

        Thanks Gingiraffe!

      • Bryarsmom

        Great catch-thanks!

      • Nathan

I’m pretty sure that price must be regional. My circular says 3 for $9.99, and the circular here says 3 for $10.98.

        Even still, 3 for $9.99 … -$1 VV coupon … – $2 UP = 3 for $6.99 which is a pretty darn good deal.

      • Rbryant1201

My flyer says the Cokes are 3/9.99 and you'll get $2 +UP rewards. WIth the V V coupon, it works out to 3/$6.99 So, not quite as nice of a deal, but still pretty good if you work it into a $5/$25 deal. Wondering if this deal is running different in certain areas?

    • Guest

I work for Rite Aid and thought I would clarify the company's policy on +UP rewards…the computer system limits the +UP rewards that print out to one per product but you can buy different products and get different +UP coupons on one reciept. As for using the +UP coupons on your purchase, there is NO LIMIT as long as the subtotal doesn't go below zero.

      • Lrae17

Last week when I spoke with someone from corporate I was told there is no limit to how many +UP rewards you can receive for a single product. However, she did tell me that the system doesn't always recognize this and it's something they're working on fixing. They are mailing me a +UP reward for a second item of the exact same product that didn't print.

I had a great trip to RiteAid today! They had everything I was looking for and the manager was super nice! He asked if I had ever had problems using coupons at his store and said he was meeting with the staff tonight to make sure everyone understood their coupon policy. He wants them to realize that coupons are just like money to the store and even mentioned Southern Savers. He said they should always use the $/$$ coupons first before any other coupons and wants to make sure his staff is aware of that and treats couponers nicely. Both RiteAid stores in my area are wonderful!

    • aczek16

had great trip today at RA! i got 3D Crest Whitestips (28) for $7.99. i also got LA Looks, 2 Herbal Essence stylers, Gillette ProGlide Razor, Venus Disp Razors (6), Bic Soleil Disp Razors (12), and 3D Crest TP for like $4! whip-pee! it averaged out to being 95% savings! CHA-CHINGGG :)

      • Erin

How did you get the whitestrips for 7.99? That's a good deal.

      • Shawna

Yes, please tell us how you got the whitestrips for such a great price!

        • aczek16

well they were on sale for 29.99. then i had a 7.00 off coupon (22.99). i had a $5/25 off coupon (17.99). then you can recieve a $10 giftcard when you spend $25 on oral products, a SCR deal (7.99)

    • Nancybgood14

i have been out of qouponing for a couple of months. Could someone explain Up rewards? Are they replacing the money back rebate checks?

    • toni

The staphAseptic gel is 14.99 at my store instead of 10.99, but there is a $4 video values coupon from last month if anyone is interested in that item.

    • Shandrikaj

Does anyone know if the coupons from the Rite Aid P&G coupon book can be used with mfr coupons? They start with RC, so I thought they could be. Just wondering…. TIA for any help.

      • Val

        Yes!

    • Caritob40

Does anybody know if there is a website like this one BUT for the supermarkets in NY area????

      • Suemh

Try becentsable(DOT)net. Click on the tab that says store deals and then scroll down to “New York” under “Grocery Stores”. It lists about 8 or more stores.

    • Nancy

      Purchased today:

      (4) Crest 3D Rinse
      (2) Old Spice Collections deodorants
      (1) Secret deodorant
      Total: $33.50

      Used:
      (4) $2.00 off Crest mouthwash
      (1) BOGO Old Spice deodorant in P&G coupon book
      (1) Buy 2 Old Spice get 1 Secret deodorant in P&G 8/01

I had $10 in UP's that I could have added to this but I want to save them for next week. I figure I made $9.50 on this transaction so I'll save those UP's for later!

      • Pfsinnh

I forgot to add that I also used a $5/$25 Q in the scenario above. Sorry about that!

    • Jessicaharrison1123

So today was my first time at RiteAid! BEST DRUG STORE EVER. So usually when I go to do my coupon rampage I get looks, and supervisors come over because and sometimes people think I am trying to be a crook or something by stacking coupons. Anyways, the Rite Aid people were amazing. Originally it was around 33.00 with coupons it went down to 17 and then I got 9.50 back and 2.99 in SCR and I did the above scenario. I didnt need the baby stuff but my friend had a baby shower to go to so I “sold” the baby goodies to her for $5 so everything worked out.

      • Aminehdestin

Just b/c a supervisor comes over, doesn't mean they think you're doing something wrong. I've helped cashiers before who don't *fully* pay attention to what they're doing. They just scan all the coupons and say done. We have 2 in particular who never bother to make sure your total doesn't go below tax, and I'm sorry but I kind of like having a job and don't want my store closed b/c of coupon fraud fines imposed on us for not following the law. And yes, that is on the store to catch.

    • Shawna

Great deal at Rite-Aid this week:
Used 3 $1.00 coupons for the 2pk Pilot Retractable pens and got them all free b/c they were on sale for 3 for $3.00. Also, I got 2 Veet creams for 49 cents total! They are on sale B1G1 Free and I got the creams that were 6.49 each. Because the second was free, $6.00 was taken off the first one (I had 2 of the 3.00 off printables and you can use 2 coupons on a B1G1 deal @ Rite-Aid. Again, that was 49 CENTS for two Veet creams that are normally 6.49 each!!

      • Brooke

The pens have a $1 SCR as well.

        • Shawna

Thanks for reminding me! Now, I will be making money off this deal!!

    • Julie176

I know that Rite Aid changed their policy so that you only get one up rewards per item/deal per card. I was wondering if I used my mother's card if I could then use the up rewards I received from her card to purchase something with my card. I know with CVS the ECB's are tied to the card and wasn't sure if that was the case with Rite Aid's UP Rewards or not. Thanks!

      • Nancy

Yes. You can for now. You can also enter her receipts onto your single check rebates account. I found out the hard way when I accidentally used my husband's card to buy oral care stuff and went to put the receipt into my account. Called customer service.

    • Gail

Got a great deal in the clearance box..Ultra Strength BENGAY Pain Relieving Patch (5 ct.) I had just passed the asle where BENGAY is shelved and noticed the Q's and got them. The price was $8.?? and in the clearance box 50% off plus the $2.00 Q so the total $2.?? made me happy!

    • pennywiseinasheville

I love the Crest Strips deal by Shawna, listed below. My question, can you get 2 gift cards on the Oral Care, because I like the Crest mouthwase deal too?

      • pennywiseinasheville

Sorry, it was posted by aczek16!

    • Nancy

Quick question. I have already reached my limit for the Oral Care Rebate $10.00 Rite Aid Gift Card. Can I request this now? It won't effect the August Single Check Rebate, will it?
Because they are two separate checks?

      • Yes, you can request it now. And no, it won't affect your SCR's.

        • Nancy

          Thank you!
