Wow! That’s all I can say. This list took ages to make, but it is a big week! Any week that ends with making a profit and a pack of diapers is a great week!!! Scroll down for a scenario idea if you need help figuring out where to start.

I’ve tried to give this incredibly long list some organization, pulling out the best deals into their own category. If you see any other deals or coupons leave a comment below and I’ll add them to the list.

There are two different $5 off coupons out:

  1. $5 off $25 purchase coupon by earning 20 Video Values points.
  2. $5 off $25 printable from Redplum.

To see the full weekly ad, go here or if you live in an area with the “Short” ad go here.

      Hi,
Can you please tell me how can I get the $128 Inside Clip & Save booklet?
      Thanks,
      Carol

      • Lots of folks are finding them in the stores near the weekly ad.

        • Guest

My store said that they are supposed to be only for people who get a flu shot there, and someone on another site said that she got an email from rite aid to that effect as well. but apparently some stores aren’t following that so who knows what was really supposed to happen with them.

      • Aminehdestin

If they aren't out, as the cashier. All stores got them, but they're supposed to be held for people who get flu shots. So if your store has an immunizing pharmacist, they likely won't be out. Then there are stores who just weren't sure what to do with them, so they just pushed them aside. ;-x Chances are, if you ask, they'll give you one.

      • Jjfdv

I asked the cashier at my Rite Aid and she never heard of it. Maybe I'll try another store.

    • Amanda

Does Huggies fall under the KC promotion?

      • It wasn't listed in the box in the ad, but we might find that it does as you submit receipts for rebates.

      • susansaver

On Rite Aid's SCR website, the rebate has the following listed as participating items:

        HUGGIES® Big Pack Diapers
        HUGGIES® Baby Wipes
        HUGGIES® Little Swimmers

So hopefully the answer is YES!

        • Wonderful!

Everyone note that it is not the same size box as the one with the +Up reward for anyone wanting the jumbo pack to qualify.

        • sarahinNC

Ohhh, I would love it if the “Huggies Pullups” are on that list too!!!

    • Guest

Is +UP like RR and ECB?

      • Jhflora654

It's like the ECB. It's not like the RR, in that you can roll them for the same product. So if you wanted to buy the Huggies and then use that UP to buy more Huggies you can. You can't do that with RRs.

        • Mom2Angel

I thought that with UP you can not use it to purchase the same item again or the UP will not print the next time?

          • Anonymous

Not true. Unlike RR, you can use a +Up received from the same product to pay for that product again. However, if there is a limit on the +Up item, you will not receive more then the limit regardless of what you do when you use the same Wellness Card.

      • New2Qs

        Yes

      • Dianne

More like ECBs because you can keep on using them to keep bringing your total OOP down.

    • Elegantcandles

Holy Toledo! This MUST have taken ages to do! Thanks! My favorite part is when you do the scenario! I usually just skip to that and do what you do because it's probably the best deal for free. I don't have time to spend matching up all my own dealz. Thanks!

    • Freeingu

can we use a store and in-ad and manufacturer? A total of 3 q's

      • TraceyGA

I am pretty sure an in-ad coupon is considered a store coupon so I don't think you can.

    • Snowski824

What is an +UP Reward? I didn't see it on the getting started guide.

      • sweetpea0217

It is a coupon that prints on the bottom of your receipt. (just a bar code really) You can use it for anything. They can scan it on your next transaction for the stated dollar amount off. Hope this helps.

      • grace

you can use it for anything but it will not pay for tax

    • Aminehdestin

One problem with the first scenario, both the in-ad coupon and the store printable (VV) are “49” coupons so the stores will [likely] only accept one. Getting used to this new specific policy being outlined is a pain.

      • MaryT

Can you explain, please? I thought Rite-Aid accepts 1 manufacturer, 1 store (video values) and 1 in-ad reduction coupon on the same item. That's how I've done it before and was never told any different. Is there a change now?

        • Valerie

It changed at the beginning of August. Google Rite Aid coupon policy to see some of the changes. It states: “No more than one “48? Rite Aid valuable coupon, one “49? Rite Aid Manufacturer coupon, and one “5?manufacturer coupon can be used on a single item.”

48,49 are the first numbers after the letters RC in the barcode. I think some of the Rite Aid coupons (49s) are actually reimbursed by the manufacturer of the product so if a video value and in-ad both start with the same number you can't use both. It seems like in most cases they are different.

        • Aminehdestin

They “explained” how coupons are allowed in a new coupon policy released, I think 2 weeks ago. Basically what it says is that you can use one manufacturer coupon which starts w/the number “5” [and as many people have pointed out, there are also basic man. coupons that start with “9” but it's one of either/or], then you can stack a “Rite Aid Manufacturer's coupon” which starts with the numbers “49” with it and also a “Rite Aid Valuable Coupon” which starts with the numbers “48”. 3 coupons can be used per item, as long as it's only one starting with each number code. The $5/$25 all start with “48” as well as some in-ad coupons, but for the most part in-ad coupons tend to be “49” coupons and from what I can tell, besides the total purchase coupons you earn, the Video Values coupons all start with “49” as well. It's weird because most stores *just* started to accept that a man. coupon, ad coupon and VV coupon could be used b/c of the Zegerid advertisement a couple of months ago, and now corporate has spelled it out as clearly as they could, that we have to watch the numbers on the coupons, not just the types. They also sent something to stores explaining that couponers DO NOT cost the store money. All “5”, “9” and “49” coupons are paid back to the store as long as they are scanned through the register, and the coupon is sent in to corporate to be sent to the clearing house. All “48” coupons are removed before everything is sent in to the clearing house, and all coupons that weren't scanned through the register, whether it's because they had to be adjusted down (to prevent corporate coupon fraud) or because they wouldn't scan due to system error or what not [they can still be typed in, the first 11 digits of the UPC will commonly fix most of the errors] those will not be paid back. Stores should still accept coupons that don't scan, *IF* after reading the coupon, it's determined that the right item is being purchased.

    • Reymannkids

Holy moly! My brain hurts. You must have some major focus power. I can't believe all the free stuff this week. Of course, I'm in the short ad area, so probably half of that will be cut from my ad, but still. I'm super stoked!

      • Reymannkids

Yep, had to cut at least half my goodie once I looked at the short ad. That really sucks! I don't understand why Nashville would be in the short ad area to begin with. Can someone please explain this to me?

        • Sandy

Response from Customer Service when I asked the same question:

“The reduced ad size is a result of merchandise changes we have made in our
stores to better serve the consumer. Certain product lines have been
removed and lines or merchandise that are more highly requested have been
expanded. These changes greatly affect the number of pages that carry
advertised items and your local ad will reflect the most highly consumed
products and provide a better shopping experience at store level. However,
the sales in our larger flyers are still accepted at all of our locations.”

If you bring a copy of the national ad some stores will price match (but Ups won't print).

          • Jenni

And you can call corporate and they will mail you the UPs that don't print, as well. I've done this twice. They arrive in the mail in about a week.

      • Lcobb

How can you tell if you are in the “short ad” area?

    • susansaver

There's also a Rite AId Video Values coupon for $1 off Listerine that can be used for either deal listed this week.

      • wendy robbins

and the listerine website has 2.00 and 1.00 q that you could print. The 2.00 is off the zero mouthwash and the 1.00 is off any or whitening all must be 500 ml or larger.

    • dizeigle

What happened to “Archives”? Will the link be back?

    • Nancy

OMG!!! There's too many FREEBIES…too many SCENARIOS…too many ways to save money! I can't handle it…I think I'm going to pass out!

If I'm not mistaken there are a few items this week that fall into the double dip category for the Single Check Rebates, and there is one item that falls into the triple dip category.

The items are listed for BOTH SCR#10 and SCR#148 for the Kimberly Clark items and according to the August SCR list must be purchased between 8/22-8/28 (although I believe the Rite Aid website says all month long).

      Anyway…these items are:
Cottonelle Bath Tissue 12 pack $6.49
Cottonelle Flushable Moist Refills 140 ct. $6.49
      Huggies Little Swimmers $6.99
      Huggies Wipes Refills 184ct. $6.99
      Scotts 4pk. 1000ct.$2.99
Scotts Single Roll 1000ct ($1.29 reg. price I believe)

And there is a triple dip item which is the Depends Underwear 14-20ct. $12.99 which also qualifies for SCR#60 on top of trhe other two SCR's.
Purchase $25 worth of these products and combine your $5/$25 with all the coupons, UP's rewards and SCR's and you'll have these items pretty much for free!

      • sarahinNC

What does “double dip” and “triple dip” mean? I'm a newbie!

        • Nancy

It's an item that counts in more than one Single Check Rebate deal going on at the same time.

For example if you purchased the Depends Underwear 14-20ct for $12.99 you can sign up for the Single Check Rebates on Rite Aid's website and enter your receipt to qualify for a $4.00 rebate (rebate #60).

But you can also purchase the other items listed above along with the Depends and as long as you purchase $25 worth you'll also qualify for Rebates #10 and #148.

          • munckin74

You also forgot the Arm & Hammer tb scenario above also qualifies for the Oral care $10 Rite aid gift card rebate (#560)!! Yay!!! :o)

            • Ashley

Don't think it's gonna work. The free refills ring up as zero so it won't reach $30 to get the Up reward

    • Jhflora654

Jenny – Thanks so much for all your time, especially this week! I REALLY appreciate it!

    • Michelle

WOW. WOW. Like everyone else says…WOW!! This could take me a while to figure out a few scenarios for this AWESOME week but THANK YOU for all the work you do Jenny!

    • Alison

On the deals where you get $5 off when you reach $30, will you still get the $5 if you use coupons to get below the $30? Say I only spend $20 after coupons, will the $5 still print?

      • Razlmz

yes you will still get them.

    • Lcobb

How do the +UP rewards work? Do you have to have a card?

      • Razlmz

Ups are basically gift cards that print on the bottom of yoru receipt for future purchases. You have to get a wellness plus card to get them.

    • Joy

Has anyone been told they are tracking our wellness cards……I was told this today and that they are setting limits on our store coupons-the ones we earn from the videos. also, a limit on those $5off $25 too! A rite aid manager told me this and said this was a new policy???

      • Sandy

It's true. If you look at the Video Value Qs you will see that they have longer barcodes. You're only allowed to use the coupon once and they keep track of it through your wellness card. You can use the coupons millions of times if you don't use a wellness card. But no card, no sale price and it's not how they intended the Video Value program to be used. If a “friend” gives you a coupon to use, that won't work either. One coupon per individual card.

If you try to use the coupon more than once (b/c you printed it 5 times ;)) the register screen will beep and say the coupon has already been used.

There has been a new coupon policy, came out in the beginning of August. I don't think Jenny has updated on the getting started guide for Rite Aid but you can google it. It also goes into detail on stacking coupons.

      • Joy

someone please let me know if you know what I'm talking about-thanks!

      • missy

I had a store supervisor tell me the same thing…I dont understand what he means by it. They have the coupons available for us so why would they “limit us” I dont get it.

        • Val

Before you could watch a Video on Rite Aids website and print the coupon 20 times and use each one. Now, when you use a RA Video Value Q with your wellness card you can only use the coupon once. If you try to use the same coupon again the register will beep and the message: Discount Inactive- COUPON PREV USED will appear.

Just print a VV coupon once and use it once.

      • toni

I think they are just finally enforcing the program as it was intended. It was their intention that each coupon be used only once, but since it gave us an option to print multiple when our printer box came up, we did. Now we are being limited to one print per coupon. But it's still a good deal and Rite Aid rocks.

      • kim

I work there and yes they are tracking youre wellness cards, but we were told to do WHATEVER it takes to make “the coupon ladies” happy so they do not call the 1-800 number and make the stores look bad.

        • Joy

Thanks Kim! I tried to get some c.booth products that were 5.99 and their store coupon was for $6.00 off and she wouldn't scan it –she said I could not have it for free…….she did try to punch in the coupon as 5.99, but it did not show tax amnt so she said it couldn't be done. It was very frustrating as I read others that was able to get their products. I did buy one c.booth facial mud mask product for 9.99 and got 6.oo off , but did get the 2.00 off UP rewards on it. Don't know why! I love RiteAid, but now hate this new drama with the coupons and wellness cards.

    • AshlynJ

If you buy four 12 packs of cottonelle, wouldn't you fullfill both SCRs #010 and #148?

      25.96 4 Cottonnelle 12-packs at $6.49 ea
      – 1.00 Rite Video – $1.00
      – 1.00 Rite August Video – $1.00
      – 2.00 4 manufacturer coupons for $.50 ea
      – 5.00 SCR #10 – $5.00
      – 5.00 SCR #148 – $5.00

Total 11.96 for 4 packs (or $2.99 ea) after everything

      Am I figuring this right?

      • Ashlyn J

of poof… forgot to add the 5/$25

        • Christine

I've been wondering if the same product can be used in two SCRs. I love your idea! Even if it only works for one, it's still a great deal.

          • Aminehdestin

It can be used in multiple rebates. Ashlyn is spot on with this one. You could also adjust the scenario and buy a pack of Poise pads or Depend underwear at $12.99 and actually triple up your rebates. If you did 2 Cottonelle 12 packs, and one Poise at $12.99 the subtotal is $25.97 then use a $5/$25 coupon, 1 $1 Cottonelle VV coupon, 2 $.50 Cottonelle Man. coupon, 1 $2 Poise VV coupon, & 1 $1 Poise man. coupon and the OOP would be $15.97 (if you have last months VV for Cottonelle use it too and make it $14.97) then you'd get back both of the $5 SCR (#10 and #48) and it gets you the $4 SCR for poise (#60) as Nancy pointed out a little down the page. So with one VV coupon for Cottonelle, after rebates your total would be $1.97 or apx. $.96 each. With 2 Cottonelle VV, after rebates your total would be $.97 or apx. $.32 each.

            • debbie33

For SCR#10 Poise is not listed. So how could you get that rebate?

            • Nancy

Turn to page 22 of your SCR August circular. It is actually Depends that qualifies.

            • Aminehdestin

Sorry, I don't have the rebate flyer this month, and just going off what I've read, I assumed the Poise was a part of it b/c normally any rebates like this that Depend qualifies for, the Poise does as well. You're right though, it doesn't with rebate #10. So if you replaced the Poise with Depend it would work. I double checked it against the website list this time. I am confused with rebate #10, it says “Cottonelle Bath” and it says “Cottonelle Moist Wipes” but I'm not sure what the bath is, I assumed it's the bath tissue, but I wonder why it's listed that way…

            • debbie33

Also I don't even see Cottonelle bath tissue on #10 either. It just says flushable moist wipes. So I don't think it will work on both.

            • Nancy

I have a list of the Kimberly Clark items that qualify for both SCR's at the bottom of this page.

      • toni

I think you are right. Good catch!

    • Nancy

There is a printable $3.00 coupon for the Thermacare deal on the Thermacare website making it a free item plus 51 cents profit.

      • Anonymous

Thanks Nancy. I went to the site and printed out the $3/1 coupon but noticed it’s only for a 2ct or more package. The $1/1 coupon that you can also print there will work though so the price would come down to $1.49 oop after $1 +UP reward. Thanks for the q! :D

    • Tosha

Ok…got a question. I'm having a lot of problems with coupons printing. Some from some sites print just fine but some that use bricks prints 1/2 to 3/4 of the way. Does anyone know why this is cutting off?? It's wasting alot of paper, ink and causing a lot of frustration! B/C I cant get some of my coupons! ERRRR…I tried to unintall the coupon printer and reinstall it but that didnt work! Any suggestions??

      • Darla

        Tosha,

Do other pages (such as Word documents) print the full page or is it mainly Bricks coupons?

        • Tosha

When I print directly from coupons.com it prints fine but it’s other sites that use bricks to print…it’s so wierd! Any suggestions??

        • Tosha

It's mainly Bricks coupons! Documents print full page and so do some other coupons!

          • Darla

I'm sorry but I can't help with that. If it was all pages, I would think it had to be a printer problem but since it's bricks, I can't help. You might need to uninstall the coupon printer and reinstall it. Or, try it in a different browser. Sometimes I get better results with Firefox than Internet Explorer. I hope you get it resolved. Good luck.

    • ScottK

anyone else in greenville saddened to miss this because of all the 50% off stores? :(

      • Kristy

which stores are 50% off? I know the one in Simpsonville ( hwy 14 and main) has a few things marked 50% but the Five Forks had barely anything that I noticed.

        • Ashley

I was told woodruff rd by walmart. What's going on exactly? Pretty much no more RA deals anymore?

          • Kristy

That wouldn't surpise me whenever I drive by there is almost no one there. Rumor has it some are turning into Save Alot or something along that line).

            • MamaYoung

Went by the Woodruff Rd. store tonight and stumbled on the 50% deals. It's GREAT – I'm going back with coupons – they're still accepting coupons! The cashier told us they're converting 10 Rite Aids in our area to Save-A-Lot/Rite Aid grocery stores. They're selling everything they can to make room, and what they don't sell, they'll just keep. She also told us the next 50% off store is going to be in two weeks at Five Forks.

            • ScottK

tuesday wade hampton in greer goes 50%

            • Leighann

So does Travelers Rest on 8-24 and then more stuff on 8-31! I am SAD!!

            • Kristy

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..lol I love my five forks store! I really hope they know what they are doing! But as long as they keep having the same deals I will keep going. if they dont.. Im done. Sorry but it doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

    • Mharwell01

Pilot pens are 3 for $3 and the last time I printed the coupon from that link it was for a Pilot Frixon pen.

      • guest

You're right. The coupon Southern Savers listed does not match up to the Pilot pen deal.

      • Yeah we found that out when we got to the store too. It’s a shame that the pen’s the coupon was for were not on sale.

    • Karen L.

Anyone having problems printing the video values coupons,,,it says it printed but it didn't! Ugghhhh…and no it isn't my printer…I checked that first of course…now all of the coupons say that I printed them…but I got nothin' I had the site reset them…and the same thing again…

      • Sara

I have this issue to some times. It could be the web browser you are using. Try a diferent one. Like pull it all up on a diferrent web browser and try that

      • I had a problem like that one time. I emailed Rite Aid and they reset them.

    • Pam

How do you know if something is sale priced? I have a 10% shopping pass and I'm wondering if now would be a good time to use it on all of the Free After SCR's.

      • Aminehdestin

You'd have to go in the store and look at each of the items you would be buying. I can't remember the reg. prices or I'd let you know now. I'm sure some are on sale, but the 10% could be better on some. I'd go in and look at every item that's on SCR next week, and do the math in your head (or write it down) and see what it would be with the pass.

    • NBASSHELTON

DON'T KNOW IF IT'S THE RIGHT ONE OR NOT BUT BENGAY.COM HAS A 3 DOLLAR Q IT'S A BRICK TOO SO YOU CAN GET IT TWICE HOPE THIS HELPS.

For anyone who subscribes to Woman's Day, there is also a $2.00/1 Kerasal foot softening product Q in the August magazine.

    • Ginaod2000

Hi! I am having trouble printing the john freida coupon on bricks.coupon.com Is anyone else having issues? Says I have printed the maximum amount & I don’t think I have ever printed those on there. Also I am interested in the $128 clip & save booklet. Where would I find those? Thanks so much for any help!

    • Nancy

Aminehdestin…sorry to ask again, but I'm still a little confused on the coupon policy. Can you answer for me? Lets say if I bought two 12-packs of Cottonelle…I know I can use 2 manufacturer's q's (one for each), but would I be allowed to use 2 Video Values q's in the transaction? One for each item…or are we only allowed to use one video values q per transaction. Someone had posted earlier that the video values are being tracked and we can only use one coupon per item per card.

That being said, does that mean that we are only allowed one 5/25 coupon per card per month? Or is it per transaction? I'm confused. :P

      • Ashley

One VV per month, not transaction…. They do offer 3 $5/25's this month so you can use each one of those.

        • WubbiesMommy

I only found 2 video values $5 off $25 coupons. Help please?!?

          • Sandy

You also get one after receiving 20 points for the videos you watch. That means you have to watch about 20 videos. If you look in the right corner of the RA VV site you'll see a blue looking thing that says $5 off $25 bonus coupon, and it shows you how close you are

      • Aminehdestin

You're only supposed to use one of each Video Value coupon. The reg. coupons, all of them that aren't $5/$25, I don't think have the long bar code yet that tracks them, so some stores will allow you to use more than one still. It's the “honor system” though, and it's kind of up to your conscience if you print multiples. Be prepared though, the store could refuse the second. The cottonelle though, seems to be on the VV every month though, so if you didn't use last months, print that one too and use one of each. If your cashier questions that, point out the dates, that will keep you in the clear and prevent anyone from questioning whether you printed more than you're technically allowed.

The $5/$25 coupons *ARE* being tracked with your wellness card. You can only use one of each, ever. If you get them the day they start, they're good for 2 months, but if you use one that day, it's done. Even if you printed 12 of them, it'll scan as already used. There are 3 each month now though. One's a Wellness coupon, one's something to do with pharmacy, then you get the one for earning 20 credits. The Red Plum coupons, and PDF coupons though, aren't tracked. So, if you get all 3 from the VV each month, then print the 2 allowed on Red Plum, you have 5 per month to use. The PDF can be printed over and over again, so those are best to use before they expire, because they have a shorter expiration date most of the time.

    • LTodd

This is random…not referring to this Rite Aid ad-but is the $10 rebate on Olay, Pantene, Covergirl, etc…on $30 before coupons? or is it $30 you actually spent on the products?
      Thanks for any help!

      • Ashley

No, you dont' have to actually spend $30. This is usually with all rebates unless it specifically stipulates and I can really only recall diabetic meters being like that.

        • LTodd

          Thank you Ashley!

    • Sheasquier

So, really this won't work because you can only use one $5 off $25 coupon once per month, correct?

      • Smartblonde

No. You can use as many $5/25 as you have (you can only use each coupon once). Video Values gives you three for this month. There are also some Red Plum Rite Aid coupons out there.

    • Twogibsons

Okay, so the coupons that I've printed off of Rite-Aid's video rewards are saying “Manuafacturer's coupon” at the top…I thought they were supposed to be store coupons…? I got the Huggies and Cottonelle ones…

      • Val

They are store coupons. You can combine them with a manufacturers. Rite Aid coupons start with RC and either the numbers 48 or 49. Coupon policy states coupons can be combined but “No more than one “48? Rite Aid valuable coupon, one “49? Rite Aid Manufacturer coupon, and one “5?manufacturer coupon can be used on a single item.”

      • Aminehdestin

They are store coupons to the extent that they can be stacked with a basic manufacturers coupon, but they're manufacturer's coupon to the extent that they'll be paid back by the manufacturer. Same with in-ad coupons that say Man. coupon, they just clarified that if it's a man. coupon in-ad it will start with the numbers “49” and can't be combined with another “49” even if the other is a VV coupon, but either an in-ad coupon or a VV coupon can be stacked with a reg. man. coupon (either from the paper, a peelie/blinkie, or printable). The “48” coupons now say “Valuable Coupon” if they're in-ad coupons but they also include the total purchase coupons [$5/$25] and you can use one total purchase per transaction, and one “Valuable Coupon” that starts with “48” for each item in a transaction on top of the other 2.

    • BQTBCH

I used a 2.00 printable for complete lense solution and the cashier couldn't get it to go through so she called the mgr and she said that is is saying that I have already used this coupon with my welness card. I can't remember the last time I used a coupon for complete. I said even if I used a coupon for complete 6 mos ago I can't use another one. She said only one printable per card! Anyone else had this problem?

      • Bqtbch

p.s. This was a coupon from complete website!

        • Sandy

That makes no sense to me. It's only RA VV coupons that are supposed to be tracked. There must have been something wrong with the coupon? This sounds silly, but if you look on your receipt are you sure it wasn't actually used? Maybe she scanned it and didn't realize it.

        • MarySC

Yes, the coupon is from the Complete website… but the website is Canadian!! Note that the bar code does not start with a 5.

      • Amy

I think I remember reading somewhere that the $2 Complete printable coupon was a Canadian coupon and not to be used in the US. The bar code on it will look different from the ones on other coupons you have, and it will probably have a Canadian address for the retailer to submit it to for reimbursement.

      • Aminehdestin

Honestly, it sounds like they made up a reason. Did they give the coupon back? Check the UPC like Amy said [below]. Otherwise, if it's not the Canadian coupon, check your receipt and see if it went through and they didn't realize it. The registers don't limit manufacturers coupon, printable or otherwise. If it went through though, it could've beeped and said no matching item found, because you'd already “used” it in the transaction for the one bottle you bought. I can't imagine that's what happened though, because the messages the register gives are completely different. Multiple VV coupons actually SAY “coupon already used”, really it sounds to me, like the didn't know why it wasn't going through and just wanted to give you a valid sounding reason for it.

    • Mom2Angel

Does any one know if RA will accept expired UP rewards? I thought they were supposed to be good for 30 days but now as I am looking at them, they are not valid for a standard 30 days and have expired =(.

      • Beth963

        They wouldn't for me.

      • Aminehdestin

We were told not to. They scan as expired, so if a store accepts them, they won't be paid back. That's also something I didn't know until recently, they're manufacturers coupons that will be paid back to the store. The item that produced the +UP pays for it to be redeemed just like a basic coupon. They are each good for 2 weeks, I *think* from the end of the [sale] week they're produced. So if you got one today it would be good through the same date as one you get for a purchase Friday or Saturday night.

      • branmuffin

mine had expired 2 days before and they would not accept them. bummer to because I had about 5+ dollars

    • Fallaya

There's also a Listerine Video Values coupon for $1.00

    • ASage

Very excited $84 worth of items (lots of sale) for $.98 – what a GREAT week!

    • meme

I don't know if someone else has posted this or if it is the right information, but may help explain the Rite Aid coupon booklet. According to our local Rite Aid, the coupon booklet is only available at bigger stores and is being given out to those who are taking flu shots. This was discussed in a conference call within the last few days, according to the cashier. If someone who works at Rite Aid can shed some light on this it would be appreciated. If it is being given out without the flu shot (even in other stores) I would like to get one while traveling. Thanks for someone's imput.

      • Aminehdestin

Your cashier is right. They're meant for people getting the flu shot, but they were sent to all stores [at least in our district] and most of the stores don't have an immunizing pharmacist to give the shot. They're able to give them out right away, whereas stores like mine, are supposed to hold on to them for the shots. I know my store did pull some for the front end, new Wellness sign ups and customers who ask/regular couponers etc, but we weren't supposed to, technically. If you go in to another store, just ask about it. It won't hurt to see if you find a store handing them out.

      • barbara

found them by the ads and noticed each register had them also in Boise.

    • meme

Oh, another question. Another posted below that there are three $5 off $$ this month. Would someone please post what each was for so that I can make sure I get all three. Thank you.

      • These are all Video Values coupons.

      • Ashley

It's right there on video values, one for rx video, one for wellness, and one for watching the 20 videos.

        • meme

Thank you Ashley and Suemh. That helps tremendously.

    • ChristyMy

Does anyone know if there is another Depends manufacturer coupon out there? The $1.50 one I have from the 7/11 SS expired today. :(
      Thanks!

    • guest

$1.00 off Huggies Little Swimmers @ huggies.com (under promotions)

    • Rbryant1201

Is there a Huggies Pull-ups Coupon out there? I'd really prefer to get those instead of getting diapers since my dd is about to start potty training.

      • 3monkeysmom

Go to pullups(dot)com and look under “special offers.” I printed a $2 coupon from there a couple of days ago :-)
Also, there's a $2 Rite-Aid Video Values coupon too. If you're not signed up, go to the Rite Aid website and there's a link on the homepage :-)

        • happymom

Can you use a Video Values q with a manu. q? I haven't shopped at Rite Aid much.

          • 3monkeysmom

            Yep, sure can ;-)

      • Kate

My SmartSource had a $1.50/1 Q. If you didn’t get one w/ the Sunday paper, you could try a coupon clipping service like mycouponhunter.com.

      • Guest

not sure about the printable one, you can search over at the coupon database at Hot Coupon World though…I LOVE that thing.

And, there is a $1.50/1 in today's SS.

      • I haven't made a link for it yet, but there is a database on Southern Savers that you can use to find coupons you want/need.

        http://www.southernsavers.com/coupon-database

    • kaseyshadow

Is the listerine listed as $3.99 with +2 up rewards in anyone's paper? mine had it listed as $4.99 with only +1 up.

      • Nancy

Mine is $4.99 with 1 UP too.

        • kaseyshadow

Is shows it in the “long” ad on several sites but when I looked at Rite aid all they have is east and west and they are the exact same this week. Don't know what to do. If I print the “ad” page from the PDF, I don't know if they will honor it. If any one finds the “long” ad zip please post.

      • barbara

$4.99 with $1 up reward here also and the ZERO is not include.

    • 3monkeysmom

$1 +UP Reward wyb Nabisco Cookies, Pepperidge Farm Cookies, or Petit Ecolier at $2.99

Okay, so I know if I buy 2 pks. Pepperidge Farm Cookies, then only one UP reward will print.
But if I buy 1 pk. Pepperidge Farm Cookies, and 1 pk.Oreos, will I get 2 UP rewards or still just 1 because it's in the same deal??

      • Aminehdestin

It's the luck of the draw on that one. A lot of people are reporting that multiples for the same sale are printing on the same receipt. If only one is printing though, the PF cookies and the Oreos are part of the same sale, so you'd only get one.

    • 3monkeysmom

I found a coupon for $1.25 off when you buy Orville Redenbacher Popcorn AND M&Ms at
      simpleanddelicious(dot)com and at orville(dot)com.
After the UP rewards on the popcorn and the m&ms, and the coupon, it will be $3.74 for all 3. Not the greatest but still not too bad :-)

    • Christy

The Rite Aid at the intersection of Whitehorse Rd & Anderson Rd in Gville has tons of on clearance!! (I also checked the Rite Aid 5 minutes away on Hwy 153 and they do not have any of the clearance deals!) I found Huggies Pure & Natural for 5.99, Size 1 & 6 of Huggies Little Movers and various Pampers and pull ups also 5.99 too!! Thankfully, I had several $5/25 RA qs with me and the $2.50 qs for the Pure & Natural from coupons.com. I was sooooo excited to just happen upon this deal! I had just opened my last pack of diapers last week and now I have a 2 months supply! Woo Hoo!

      • The Montgomery Rite-Aids also did not seem to have a lot of the same prices on the “Freebies”/ “Less than a dollar” items. They were mostly $3-4 more than listed on this site. It was quite sad for my mom who had a huge list of things she wanted to get for free and couldn't get because it would still be costing a few dollars after rebate and all.

    • Gguoba

I can use a Walgreen's coupon at Rite Aid ?

-.50/1 Pepperidge Farm Cookies, 7.2-8.6 oz, August Walgreens Coupon booklet

      • Sandy

Most Rite Aid's don't accept competitors coupons. There are exceptions though. You'll just have to ask your store.

    • Thankful4hope

Where did you find (in the ad) the $3.99 listerine w/ $2 +UP. I have looked in 2 different ads and can't find it. I get the long ad too.

      • Sandy

I think it's on the wrap

        • Valerie

It's on the wrap. Iheartriteaid has it scanned and it's at the end of the long ad pdf

      • kaseyshadow

It's on the very last page and on the rite aid site it is not in any of the papers–east or west. i”m calling in the morning. THey said they could match the price but not give me th +2 in the store

        • Islandboybpb

Yes, if you just take a copy of the AD (which you really shouldn't have to) to the store they should modify the price to reflect the +up reward for that store. They are in the process of fixing the situation so that all +up rewards print in every store no matter the size of the AD.

    • ASage

What a great week. I just got $127.59 worth of items for $2.07 – very exciting day at Riteaid!

      • Guest

Is your total OOP or after rebates? Would love to see your scenarios! I think my state must charge tax differently than other areas. We have to pay tax on the FULL amount of everything, so my taxes alone for that much product would be way over $2.07.

    • BdaJda06

Hey guys….I have never shopped at Rite Aid before but it seems like you get some pretty good deals!! It seems like alot of aggrevation to shop there though. Would someone let me know if it would be worth it for me to read up on it and give it a whirl. It just really sounds confusing but if I could get some really great deals I will do it. I would appreciate someone's input please. Thanks alot girls!!!

      • Aminehdestin

Once you get the hang of all of the different ways to save money, it's actually really easy. My biggest tip, as an employee, follow the sites! Between this website and a couple of others, you find some amazing deals lined up perfectly for you. Careful though, because some do try and teach you how to beat the system, but for the most part they're easy to spot and shy away from. I've learned a lot from this site, and keep an eye on it so that we can try and stock for what's going to sell well, and I appreciate the people on here tremendously. Good luck, and just know that any questions you have and post here, chances are, someone knows the answer and will be more than happy to help.

        • Anonymous

I love when employees realize that it’s worthwhile to follow trends and prepare for them ahead of time. I wish all stores did this or even that corporate did it for all stores. I can imagine it would be even easier for them to interpret since each stores sales fluctuate depending upon sales and their demographics. I totally understand limits and sharing deals by not clearing the shelves but when I go into a store and hear employees (mostly Wags is the one I’m talking about) griping about couponers “clearing the shelves” I do sometimes wonder if that shelf contained 50 items that were “cleared” or only five which had been sitting there for months until the sale made them valuable. It’s hard to judge that so I try not to but sometimes it does bother me to hear a store complain about sales through coupon users.

      • Nancy

Are you kiddin'? If everyone shopped this way at Rite Aid we could solve half of the world's problems! LOL! I'm only half joking, though.

Last week I went to see a friend of a friend whose had a pretty rough year. Her husband lost his job and she has a little one who is in and out of the hospital. My husband and I put together a care package for her family.

We gave her diapers, wipes, boxes of toothpaste, mouthwash, lots of body wash, shampoo, and deodorant. Several months worth. I showed her how I was able to buy all of this stuff for practically nothing.

It does take some time to find the coupons and put together the scenarios, but once you learn how to do everything, it's really FUN!

Today I went in to just pick up a couple of things. I had a really busy week and I didn't feel like spending a lot of time in the store. Here's what I bought:

        1 Huggies Jumbo Pack – $8.99
        1 Stop Pain Roll-on – $6.99
        1 Sunday Paper – $1.40 ($1.75 – 20% discount)
        1 bag M&M's coconut flavored – $0.50 (88cents – 20% discount) I start diet tomorrow!
        Total= $17.88 (no sales tax here )

        Used:
$5 off next visit from Rite Aid (was sent to me after $5UP didn't print on a prior sale)
        $2.00 Huggies Video Values coupon
        $1.50 Huggies man. coupon
        = $9.39 out of pocket
Got back $2.00 UP's and will get back $8.99 in rebates

Got all of this for FREE plus $1.60 profit!

    • FB

Where do you find clip and save coupon booklet? My Rite Aid does not have them.

      • islandboybpb

You have to find a store that is doing Flu Shots. Only those stores received the coupon books. You also have to get them from the Pharmacy

    • Y0gastyle

Hee is a coupon for $1 off the Chestal Honey Cough Syrup http://childrenchestal.com/?gclid=CKurhIaizqMCFQpf2godeU-RvA

    • Lisanole78

In case anyone is interested in the Coldcalm or Chestal products, I found a coupon for $1 off either product here:

      http://www.childrenchestal.com

    • Jordie

Just so everyone knows Excedrin is only 49 cent at Publix this week with the $1 off coupon, it's 99 cent at Rite aid.

    • Lovemejc

Just wanted everyone to know that the Arm and Hammer Spin Pro Toothbrush deals is a bust!! The refill's WILL not count toward the $5 UP Reward when you spend $30. I was so upset, because I bought two brushes that cost 14.99 each, and the two refils and I was only TWO CENT short of my $5 UP reward!!! Just a head's up!

      • jennyr

After reading your post i made sure to make up the difference, only to find out that my store didn't have the same deal going on. (no free refills or rewards). After all the coupons it is a pretty good deal, including the rebate for oral care.

    • Tracy in Rome, GA

Many things listed did not ring up for the prices listed above. I have been only been doing the coupon thing for two months, but this time there were several differences—Chestal cough syrup was 10.49 instead of 7.99, Coldcalm 8.99 instead of 7.99 the Allergy Buster, etc.. The cashier did put it in with the prices listed on my shopping list which was super great, but I know I cannot always expect that when I shop. Why are the prices so different? I do have a short ad (wishing I had a long one) and how can I know for next time in order to have my list ready to go Saturday evening. I am in Rome, GA.

      • julies

sounds like your rewards card didnt apply

        • islandboybpb

that's exactly what didn't happen. If you didn't use your Wellness card you would pay the regular price which is 10.49. However, if you did use it then it should come up correctly, otherwise they should fix it for you. The prices are the same all over Georgia, just smaller ads in slower stores

      • Valerie

Since your area is the short ad you should check the short ad link above to make sure everything that you wanted on Jenny's list was also in your ad. Sometimes RA will price match the long ad, I would ask your manager.

      • Aminehdestin

Having the short ad, they just aren't on sale at your store. They will normally modify for you as long as you have a copy of the ad (get the AJC if you don't want to waste paper/ink printing it out). It is possible that you'll run in to some cashiers/managers who won't price match, but for the most part, since it's a Rite Aid ad, they will. I wish I knew which areas in GA had the short ad.. my store has the reg. regional ad so I've never had to handle modifying everything down b/c it's not on sale *at that store*.

      • Augustashopper

After returning home and checking 2 different RA receipts, I noticed I was overcharged for 5 different products which were all on sale for a much lesser price–per this website. I will be returning to the store to either get my money back on the mistake or returning the products for a full refund.

        • Valerie

Sounds like you live in a short ad area. If you can bring the long ad in (or print a copy) and they might price match for you!

        • Yes, here in Augusta we get the short ad. I'll be printing out the relevant portions of the long ad for a few of the products that I'd like and see how it goes. I usually go to the Rite Aid at the corner of Augusta West Parkway and Wheeler Road as it's close by. I've had awesome customer service there, with every person I've worked with. I'll let you know how it goes this week!

      • Couponqueenie

Tracy, I live in Rome, too, and usually struggle with Rite Aid because our stores only do the SHORT ad, not the Long ad. So, I get my list ready, head to the store, only to see they aren't on sale because they are in the long ad. Now what I do, is just find the short ad online or wait for the Sunday paper and then create my own list by what's on sale. Hope that helps!

    • kaseyshadow

I know several of you on here work at Rite aid. Can you please provide some advice. I really want the $2 up Listerine for 3.99. It is not in my ad or any ad I could pull up through Rite aid's web site. However it is listed in the long ad on here. The store said they could match the price but not the ups. What should I do?

      • Valerie

Listerine Mouthwash (500 ml) is on the wrap-around. Rite Aid's website doesn't show you the wrap around sales. You can find it on iheartriteaids website (it's at the end of the long ad she has posted). I'm pretty sure CVS and Walgreens both have Listerine for free after coupons and rewards, so my advice… shop somewhere else :). You could try calling customer service tomorrow and see if they can mail you the ups if you purchase it and no ups print.

        • kaseyshadow

Thanks. I love this site and how helpful everyone is. I was hoping to use the 3.99 listerine to finish out the buy$15 and get a gift card. Oh well, on to plan c. At least I got really really cheap pull ups and my grandmother is getting really cheap depends out of it:)

          • Val

The oral care gift card rebate doesn't end until September 25th so, you still have some time. :)

      • islandboybpb

If you take the ad or just speak to their manager they are suppose to modify the price to reflect the +up reward if it does not print on your original receipt. So, in this situation, if you bought the item and the +up reward doesn't print all they have to do is refund the original item and then re-ring it while modifying the price down to reflect the +up reward. It's company program to do it that way.

      • Aminehdestin

Look on other sites for the ad and print it from there. The only way stores price match is if you have the ad or a print out, right? So take that with you, and if the store won't price match the +UP (because it's not technically policy to ring it as the “it's like paying” price, b/c the +Ups are actually coupons that will be reimbursed, when it's just modified down, that's a loss for the store) try calling 1-800-riteaid and seeing if they will mail you the +UP.

    • Jtorr14

I purchased the Stopain pain reliever and the Kerasol foot ointment in the same transaction today, but I forgot to get a duplicate receipt. As you all know their is a MIR for socks when you purchase the Kerasol foot ointment and $2.00 MIR for the pain reliever, but I need the original receipt for each. My only thought would be to return one of the two and then have it re-rung on a separate ticket. Any other thoughts or suggestions for a solution to this would be greatly appreciated.

      • Sshoulders

Before you go to all the trouble, call the manufacturer's 800 number and ask if they will take a copy. I've seen several posts about this.

      • RebeccaFer

I just looked at the Kerasol sock offer and just noticed that you need to buy 2 of the products to get the socks. Thought I'd point out that the SCR is a limit of one so if you want to buy another Kersol product, it won't be much of a discount.

If you return the item so you can ring it up again, be aware that RA will only give you what you paid for it so if you used your coupon, you will not get back the value of the coupon AND you will not get back the coupon. It's the only bone I have to pick with RA because to me that's unfair on several levels. If you used a $5/$25 q too, they will take that $5 you received into account if your total then drops below $25. It could very well not be worth it to return it at all.

        Good luck!

        • Sis2

I think you only need one product for the sock offer. The way it reads is you need two proof of purchases (one is the UPC and the other is the receipt). I read it wrong at first also and thought you needed two products.

          • Anonymous

Wonderful! Thanks so much for letting me know. :D

    • Helenmaddox

I looked at the listing and it shows a Up reward for Malt-O- meals. However went to my local Riteaid and they said they have never carried that product. Is the list for all Riteaides?

      • Islandboybpb

All stores should have at least 2 different flavors of the malt o meal cereals, so they are out of stock or removed it from the section which they shouldn't have done. It's probably in their back room.

Ok, so does anyone know about the Up reward for Gillette? I did spend $30 in products for $10 up reward and it did not print and neither of the cashiers could find it in SCR's or the ad, would anyone tell me where to find this??

      • Dianne

I had to look hard to find it for you! I knew I had seen it, but I didn't find it in the ad, either. I did find it on the WRAP on the outside of the ad. I have the long ad, by the way. It has +UPs but not SCR.

        • FB

          Thanks soooo much!

    • gwen wolfe

Here's what I got today for a grand total of $2.58

Did you get +UPs for all the diapers/pullups?

      • Kb

can you list the coupons u used? I am new to rite aid and would love the help!

    • Jlbcoupons

Is it just me or does RiteAid seem like a lot of work??? Watching Videos for coupons, filling out stuff for checks…. Maybe I am missing something? Just seems like a lot of work for not much reward. Anyone have any tips?

      • Coupons777

I actually like the SCR program even though I have to wait for my rebates. It seems less complicated to me than the others where you have to work out how to re-use your rebates. Especially easier than Wag! Their RR system makes me crazy. Do you submit your receipts online or mail them in? I do mine online and do it as soon as I get home and just enter all my receipts. I had one once pop up with a rebate I did not realize I had. Also I like the SCR is a check I can cash at the bank – real money back.

      • Nancy

I love Rite Aid. I can't really get into CVS and Walgreen's anymore because to be honest with you, there are just so many different ways to save money at Rite Aid, it's almost on the verge of being criminal.

On my past 5 or 6 visits, my net actual money spent after all rewards and rebates has been less than one dollar per visit and lately I've been MAKING money on my visits. They pay me more than I've been spending.

Here's why Rite Aid kicks butt:

My 20% discount everyday – When CVS has their sales on Pampers diapers (I have 2 little ones), they can't even touch what I can get at Rite Aid WITHOUT a sale, because of my 20% discount. Lately, with these scenarios, I've been able to get Pampers jumbo packs FOR FREE. I RARELY get them for free at CVS or Walgreen's.

The $5/$25 coupons and Video Values – I LOVE the video values because we know that we'll have several $5/$25 per month to work with when we go to the Rite Aid website. With CVS you have to go to the kiosk and cross your fingers that you'll get a $5/$40, or a $5/$25…I've NEVER received a $5/$15 that I hear some people talking about …ever. Or you can hope to get one of those coupons through your email, and they expire in 3 days! It's ridiculous.

The UP's Rewards – Works like cash money at Rite Aid, and so far the UP's are not card specific. You can use them with any card…your spouse's…your kid's card. Probably not supposed to and they'll probably be changing that real soon, but right now I think that's a pretty cool feature. I've been to CVS where I've seen a guy use his wife's card by accident and tried to pay with ECB's from his card and the register beeped…they almost had to call the police this guy was so angry.

Single Check Rebates – It's SO easy…just go to the website and type in your receipt and you're done.

Multiple coupons for single items- You can use up to 3 different coupons on a single item and SOMETIMES there will even be a Single Check Rebate on the item as well!
Try going to Walgreen's and use three different coupons on one item. They'll laugh at you right after they yell at you. :P

Single Check Rebate Overlap – Often if you check out the SCR handbook you can spot some overlap rebates on some items. This just happened with the Kimberley Clark deals and also with some of the Crest/Oral Care Rebate. Buy an item and it counts for 2 of the rebates…pretty cool.

Well, I've probably forgotten about a few other things, but as you can tell I really love shopping at this store. It does take some planning, but this is why we all come to websites like this one. Jenny does most of the work for us, and thank God for that!
        Hope this helps.

        • Aminehdestin

Thank you Nancy. You just explained all of that much easier than I could've done. I swear sometimes, working for a company makes you explain things in a round-about way making it much more complicated. :-x

        • Kb

on the scr items, can you just get one?

          • Nancy

Usually the SCR's reward on an item or items is limit 1 per card member. Is that what you are asking?

      • Valerie

It does take more work than the other drug stores but it pays off in the end! So many ways to save: Up Rewards, Rebates, VV Qs, In ad Qs (all which are stackable). Entering your receipt for the Rebates is easy. You just enter store number, transaction number, and the date! Then a few days later you get an email letting you know what rebates you qualify for. At the end of the month you request the check and it arrives a short time later.

        • RebeccaFer

I think each store has its' own hoops to jump through and it's more a matter of what you get used to doing. I frankly love RA the best because it does have so many options on how to save and be rewarded. It really couldn't be any easier to get your SCR since you do it all online with just a few clicks and lines of info to fill out. Even if you forget to request your check, it will eventually be mailed out if you entered your info. I love the fact that it's actual cash and not drug store “reward money” that can easily be lost of quickly expire. If you get your head in the game, it's quite easy and definitely rewarding!

    • Coupons777

Does anyone know the scoop on all the Rite-Aid closings? Rite-Aid is my favorite drug store and the manager in Greer told me they are all closing in Greenville County or at least changing over to Sav-A-Lot grocery stores. He said he'll have 20% of the store and doubted they'd be doing SCR and UP deals, although he was not certain about that. He did say he would only have 2 aisles for Rite-Aid. Makes me sad – not worth driving all the way to Spartanburg for Rite-Aid deals. Just wondering if anyone knows what is going on with the chain?

      • Mammekins

This has been confirmed by me as well. All 10 stores in Greenville County will be Sav-A-Lots by October. I was told this at the first part of August. The Hudson Road is closing for good. I am pretty sure that there will be no incentives to shop there. They anticipate the stores doing $100,000 a week. I hope so, but I just don't see it with Walmart and all of the other grocery stores around. It is my favorite place to shop as well. I shop at the one in Greer frequently. I haven't done CVS in a couple of months, so I guess I am going back to them. Wags has been hit or miss for me, so I can take it or leave it. I have recently begun shopping at Publix and absolutely love it. I was also told by a manager at the Wade Hampton store that the Spartanburg RA's would be doing the same thing. They are going in phases. They are going from 24,000 items to 6,000 items. They are going to be 90% grocery. If it's anything like the Sav-A-Lot, there will not be many name brand items, so therefore there will not be much coupon usage. It really is sad that this is happening. I am just going to have to frequent other stores that I didn't before.

    • Connie

I went to the store in Covington last night to B1G1 on Noxema. I only wanted (1) of the items and expected to pay only half price but was told by the manager that I had to get (2) of the items. He said they do not do the half price on B1G1 deals. Well, they didn't have (2) of the items I wanted so he did give me the (1) for half price. All of the other stores will allow you to only buy (1) if you choose for half price. Does anyone know any differently on this. What a bummer!!!!!

      • Aminehdestin

It is against policy to do 50% when the items are in stock. The company wants it as a Buy one Get one sale for a reason… presumably so you're paying twice as much. That's why they ring the way that they do, one rings full price and the second rings free, rather than each item ringing 50%.

      • Renny

The manager is correct & was nice to do the 50% when only one in stock…my RA manager who is great did the same thing for me today on a particular Sundown vit.

      • MarySC

It is confusing since most grocery stores call their sales “BOGO” but they are really not… they are 50% off. But most drug stores' BOGO sales truly are just that– when you buy one, you get another one free. It is even shown that way on the receipt. (I have also had managers give me 50% off when there is only one item in stock, but I never expect it!)

      • RebeccaFer

The silver lining to drug stores treating a B1G1 as a true B1G1 is that you can use a B1G1 coupon to get them both free. Usually when you try to use the same coupon on the same type of sale at a grocery store, you end up paying more. It's just learning all the rules and figuring out if it's the best price for you at the moment. I'll take the drug stores doing this over what the grocery stores do if only because I've gotten tons of true freebies with my B1G1 qs on a B1G1 sale. :D

    • Jenni

You can also get 2 free Snickers Marathon bars if you use the BOGOF coupon from the August All You Issue, page 64!

      • RebeccaFer

Thanks for including the page number too! :D

    • Leigh

I am new to couponing. Been doing it for a lil over a week but have only been to Kroger. I've read this Rite Aid stuff over and over again and I'm still a lil confused. I have 3 children, one is 2 and in pull-ups and I'm pregnant with #4. So, I am very interesting in figuring out how to get FREE pull-ups and diapers. Can someone help me come up with a scenario for a 1st trip??? Please and thank you!

      • SavingInKY

I went this morning and bought the Jumbo Pkg of Pure & Natural for $8.99 less the $2 Video Value Coupon and a $2.50 printable coupon. I paid $4.49 and then got a “$2 Off your next purchase” (they are called Up rewards) at the bottom of my receipt…..so final cost was $2.49. Hope that helps!

      • Michelle

You could do this TX (hope I got it right!)

        Buy:
        1 Cottenelle
        2 Huggies Swimmers
        1 Huggies Wipes
        Total: 27.46

Use: -1 RA video value Cottenelle; -0.50 printable Cottenelle; on the Huggies swimmers go to their website at huggiesdotcom, select promotions at top right-the 2nd banner screen is the swimmers and has a place to select download coupon-do this for a $1 coupon for the swimmers (print twice); use -0.50 coupon for wipes from yesterday's paper.

        27.46
        -$5 off $25 purchase
        -1 RA VV Cottenelle
        -.50 Cottenelle printable
        -1.00 Huggies Swimmers printable
        -1.00 Huggies Swimmers printable
        -0.50 Huggies wipes

Total you'll spend out of pocket on today's purchase is $18.46 BUT it qualifies you for rebate #110 for $5 and rebate #148 for $5 plus you'll get $3 UP Rewards so total out of pocket after these will be: $5.46

Now, use the $3 UP rewards from TX 1 and get 1 pkg Huggies Diapers or PullUps at 8.99, use printable $2 Q Manuf and $2 Rite Aid VV coupon in addition to the $3 UP rewards you received on TX 1. Total OOP will be $1.99. You'll get a UP for $2 which means you just got diapers for FREE! (if you have the $2.50 printable you'll make 0.51 on the deal).

      • Nancy

You could do this scenario as long as the multiple UP's are printing off the Huggies jumbo packs in one transaction (which they are as we discovered this afternoon):

        Purchase:
        (1) Stop Pain roll-on or spray $6.99
        (2) Huggies jumbo packs (of your choice) $8.99 x 2 = $17.98
        (3) Pilot pens $3.00
        Total: $27.97

        Use:
        $5/$25
        (3) $1.00 off Pilot Pens printable see above
        (2) $1.50 off Huggies (from this Sunday's paper) or (2) $2.00 off Pull-ups at Pullups(dot)com printable coupons
        (1) $2.00 off jumbo pack at video values Rite Aid
        Total out of pocket: $14.97

        Get back: 5 UP's, $7.99 SCR's, $2 mail-in-rebate (on Stop Pain)
You get everything for FREE plus 2 cents overage

You might also want to take a peek at next week's sale which can be found at iheartriteaid(dot)com. It looks like we're having another good sale on Pampers jumbo packs and you can get ready for the sale by buying your coupons now through a coupon clipping site (you can google a few of them).

One of my favorite coupons this month is the buy any 1 package Pampers diapers and get 1 package of Pampers wipes for FREE. The coupon costs 35 cents, but you end up saving $2.50.

        • Leigh

Is Pull-ups part of the SCR? I couldnt' find them listed in the list but they are a Huggies product.

          • Nancy

I've been wondering that myself. I'm going to call the 800 number tomorrow and find out for sure. I have a feeling they are not, though. It says specifically big packs, wipes and Little Swimmers.

There is another SCR coming up the third week in September that might include the Pull-ups because it includes all Huggies diapers in the jumbo packs. This Pull-ups deal is still a pretty sweet deal though, so stock up! :)

            • Leigh

I want the Pull-ups anyway, it would just be great to get a $5 SCR. I was looking at the SCR #10 trying to figure out what I should get cause I have 2 ($2 off) VV coupons I can use for Pull-ups. And I have 2 ($2off) printable Pull-ups coupons. Then I have $1 off Cottonelle VV coupon and .50 off Cottonelle from the newspaper. Since I have like 5 rolls of roll paper at the moment, I figured that was a great buy considering we normally use Scott (which is so high). But, that puts me right under $25. Which I have the $5/$25 coupon. So, I know a couple small things I could get to hit that. But, I figure if I could figure out something small on the SCR #10. I could atleast put it in and see if it works after I get my receipt. It couldn't hurt considering the 2 Pull-ups and the Cottonelle, I definately want.

            • Nancy

I know. Sometimes it takes some creative thinking to put your scenarios together. I think the whole key to getting a lot of these things for free is the $5/$25 coupon. That $5.00 off becomes huge once you combine it with all the rebates and UP's.

If you need a small filler item, try to get something with as many money saving strategies attached to it. The Pilot pens are great because it not only gets you over the $25 threshold, but it has 4 potential ways to whittle down your total and help get you your free diapers. Plus, everyone uses pens, right? Can get enough of those. :)

      • Aminehdestin

Here's my scenario if you have the coupons:
        (2) Huggies Pure & Natural Diapers
        (2) Bengay product (if you have the in-ad coupon, better if you have a % off)
(Since you're a new RA customer, you don't get a % off, so buy 2@ $5.49 you'd pay $.49 ea., at 10% off, buy 2 @ $5.99 after discount ($5.39) and coupons you'd pay $.39 ea. and 20% off, get 2 @ $6.49 after discount and coupons you'd pay $.19ea. Remember, not all stores have all price points, so your OOP could be off as much as $1)

Use: $5/$25, (2) $3 Bengay in-ad coupon, (2) $2 Bengay man. coupon, (2) $3 Pure & Natural coupons (from the past couple mailers, I didn't realize I had these when I went) & (1)$2 Huggies Jumbo Pack VV.
        Total OOP: $5.96 w/no discount, $5.76 @ 10% & $5.36 @ 20%
        Get back (2) $2 Huggies +UP, (2) $1 Bengay +UP =$6

Then, you could roll that $6 in to another for Pull Ups for your 2 year old, just replace the Pure and Natural diapers w/Pull Ups and use 2 $2 Pull Up printables and the VV for $2 off Pull Ups and pay with your $6 +UP from the first transaction pay $1.96 OOP and get $6 in +UPs again! Or if you store is low on Bengay and limiting, or you just don't need it, throw in a 3rd pack of Pure & Natural diapers and use another $3 coupon and pay $6.97 ($7.97 if you'd rather have a 3rd +UP or (1) “Little Snugglers” w/lower value coupon) OOP after coupons and using that first +UP and then you'd get $9 in +UPs to print from the second transaction. If you don't have the $3 coupons they mail out, the $2.50 printables don't throw the scenario off too badly either.

        • Aminehdestin

In that second to last sentence I meant if you'd rather have a 3rd pack of Pull Ups, not a 3rd +UP.

    • Kelleyroo

I am also new to Rite Aid and I have a question about the $2.00 off any Huggies Diapers, Pull-Ups, or Goodnites Jumbo Pack coupon that Jenny has listed as a Rite Aid coupon. My print says it's a Manufacturer's Q, so I'm confused. Can I stack it with the $3.50/2 Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers or no? Thanks in advance!

      • Renny

It depends on how it is coded. I don't have it in front of me, but if it is an RC…rite aid coupon, it can be stacked w/a manny beginning w/a 5 or 9. Hth & someone else will probably come along & give you a better explanation!!

        • Couponcandice

Renny is right! you can stack em' — RC is the riteaid coup and the others start with 5 just like she said-for each pack of diapers you can have a manu coup, and still works with the video values 2.00 coup–don't forget the $5 off $25 coupon!!

      • Aminehdestin

Yes, that's a Video Values coupon which is both a manufacturers coupon and a store coupon. The value will be paid back to the store (man. coupon) but it can be stacked with a reg. manufacturers coupon (store coupon). It starts with the numbers “49”, right? Any coupon starting with “49” can be stacked with a man. q. that starts with “5” (or “9”) *and* the rare store coupons [“valuable coupons”] that start with “48” like all of the $5/$25 coupons. Those don't get paid back.

Yes, it's starts with 49, I knew the man. q's started with 5 usually but this one had me a bit confused. Thank you so much! :)

        • kim

It sounds like you work at RA so can you tell me whats up with the save a lot thing? We are only catching rumors here and there.I would really appreciate any info.

          • Aminehdestin

I only know what I've read on here. It's not going on here, and so far looks like it's only certain stores in SC. I wish I knew more, but to me, it *seems* like Rite Aid may be selling some stores to cut back on loss. Instead of actually selling them completely though, they're merging with other companies. I'm thinking it may be like it was when Brook/Eckerds sold, instead of doing one large sell, to just sell off completely, stores from GA north sold to Rite Aid while Florida sold to CVS. If I hear anything, I'll definitely keep everyone updated. I'd like to be updated too, as an employee I would really love it if they keep me informed on whether or not I'll still have a job at the end of the year.

The Snicker's Marathon protein bars are B1G1 this week ($1.49 each at my store). There's a B1G1 Q in August All You making both free!!

    • Monica452

If I buy 3 packs of diapers will I get 3 of the $2 UP rewards or just 1 because it's all the same transaction? I'd like to use the $5 off purchase of $25 coupon, plus the $2 video value coupon and 3 manf coupons. Is that possible?

      • Aviennamom

I don;t think so because the as says limit 1

      • Lisanole78

I got 2 packs of Pullups in 2 separate transactions and got the UP rewards for both. Don't know if it would work if you buy them both in one transaction.

      • Couponcandice

Yes!! Yesterday I went in and on my first transaction I picked up a couple of boxes of Kotex pads–got the $3 up and on my next trans I had 3 packs of diapers–I used the $3 up, a 2.00 off lil' snugglers coup, and another lil' snugglers coup of 2.50, the 2.00 off huggies coup and another one for $2.00 off pull-ups you can earn by watching the video on their site, and then the $5 off $25 coupon, and lastly another $1.50 coup off the pull-ups- my total was $10.12!! and I got back 3 $2 UP rewards!! I went back and got another 3 packs of diapers–this time used the UPS, and another $5 off $25 coup and $4 off 2 lil' snugglers and a $3.00 off huggies natural diapers to a total of $10.45!! and again got 3 more $2 UP'S so for a total of $20.57 I got 6 packs of diapers with the $6 UPS left, I plan on doing this exact scenario again later this week!

        • Nancy

          Sweet!

      • Aminehdestin

So far this week, people are reporting that they are getting more than one on single transactions.

    • Saeweardsmith

Has anyone used regular huggies as a part of the Kimberly Clark promo? I notice its not under the items but is a KC product….just curious..before I put my plan together!!

      • Rebecca

I was thinking the exact same thing. Gonna buy the pure&natural ones for the $2.49 scenario and see whether it goes through as a qualifying item, and buy some more stuff later this week if I need to.

        • Lisanole78

          Didn't qualify for me. =(

    • Nicolette_william

Im looking into getting some Huggies at Rite Aid. Im hearing that the limit is NOT 1, that its more, confirmed at the highest of 3 on ONE order. Do you know about this? I am wanting to do 3 huggies at 26.97-$5/$25-3($2 VV Q)-1($2.50Q)-2($1.50Q)=10.47 get back 6 +UPs??? I havent shopped RA in forever, and not since they started these UP reward things… any input on this? i will be shopping the darlington sc store

      • Val

You can only use one of the Video Value Qs (unless you have coupons from separate months). Each coupon is coded for a one time use. Other then that it looks fine. There have been reports of multiple ups ,but it's not a guarantee.

        • Nicolette_william

ok thanks. this is my first rite aid trip! :)

    • Beth

Does anyone know if the Spinbrush deal is working out? I want to do this one but I want to see if anyone has tested it. TIA

      • Val

I think someone posted below that it was a bust.

        • Coupons777

I made money on the deal unintentionally. Told the manager this was not what I intended but he said “this is the only way we can do it.” Here is what happened – I bought 2 spinbrushes 14.99 ea. and the 2 free refills 9.99 ea. Used 5/25 Q and other Qs made total $12.++ with tax. $5 +up did not print. Cashier could not figure out why. I could only figure out because the refills rang up zero so total before Qs was 29.98. She called over manager. I offered to pay 15.00 ea for the brushes. He said system won't take that. I told him I did not want to buy another refill at 9.99 to get over 30.00. He said all he could do was give me a refund. I said okay. He refunded me $31.58. I told him “but that is more than I just paid, you could give me my coupons back and what I paid. But he said “no, had to be this way.” So, anyway I made money unintentionally, feel bad about that, and still disappointed did not get the spinbrushes.

    • Aminehdestin

Okay, so I started playing with different ways to go about these deals. I came up with an idea that worked for me, but there are random things that may not be good for everyone else, but there's plenty of room to play this week. I needed some diapers for baby showers (I swear, I just got rid of most of my baby coupons and stock pile of products, lucky for me Huggies likes to send out coupons, daily-ish) and Cottonelle is always a necessity as is Bengay in my household, so this week was/is very good to me. Luckily I had 3 $5/$25 coupons left (I've only used the Red Plum this month so I have all the VV). Thought I'd share, since everyone seems to be doing their own variations on the same transactions. With multiple +Ups printing, my day was made so here's what I came up with:

      Transaction 1:
      (2) Huggies Pure & Natural Jumbo Pack Diapers $17.98
      (1) Huggies Pull Ups $ 8.99
      (2) Bengay products
(don't remember which it is, but reg.price $6.49-20% discount and my receipt tells me nothing as to which kind it is) $10.38
      Subtotal $37.35

Used: $5/$25 VV, (1) $2 Huggies Pull Up VV coupon (last month? I didn't have it but someone at my store did and it's not in my queue), (2) $2.50 Pure & Natural Huggies man. q., (1) $2 Pull Ups man. q., (2) $3 Bengay in-ad coupons, (2) $2 Bengay man. q.
      Coupons =$24 Total after coupons – $13.35

      Got Back: (3) Huggies $2 +UPs, (2) $1 Bengay +UP =$8

(I also paid with a $5 +UP from a Kaz heating pad 2 wks ago making my OOP $8.35, then I got the $8 back).

      Transaction #2:
      (2) Huggies Little Swimmers $13.98
      (3) Pilot Pens $ 3.00
      (1) Huggies Little Snugglers $ 8.99
      Subtotal: $25.97

Used: $5/$25 VV, (2) $1.50 Little Swimmers man. q (got in the mail early last wk), $1 Pilot Pens (wyb 3) printable, $2 Huggies Little Snugglers man. q., $2 Huggies Jumbo Pack VV.
      Coupon=$13 Total after coupons – $12.97

      Use $8 +Up from transaction #1 final cost: $4.97

      Got back: $1 Pilot Pens +UP, (2) $1 Little Swimmers +UP, $2 Huggies JP +UP

Will receive $1 SCR For Pilot Pens

      Transaction #3:
      (2) Cottonelle 12 pks $12.98
      Backaid 28 ct. $ 3.49
      (2) Bengay (same as before) $10.38
      Subtotal: $26.85

USED: $5/$25 VV, (1) $1 Cottonelle JULY VV, (1) $1 Cottonelle AUG. VV, $.50 Backaid man. coupon (inside most boxes, I bought some a couple months ago and had it still), (2) $1 Cottonelle man. q. (magazine coupons), (2) $3 Bengay in-ad, (2) $2 Bengay man. q.
      Coupons=$19.50 Total after coupons: $7.35

USED $5 +UPs from transaction #2 Final total: $2.35 (with reg. man coupons for Cottonelle instead of the magazine coupons, it would be $3.35 instead)

      Got back: (2) $1 Bengay +UPs

16 items for a total of $15.67 AND I have $2 in +Up rewards left and will get the $3.49 SCR for Backaid & $1 from the pens & I will submit for the K.C. Rebates to see if the Cottonelle 12 pks qualify for both (one just says “Cottonelle bath”).
If it all clears, after rebates my grand total is -$0.82. Even with the other coupons, add $1 for Cottonelle, and the $5 +up I started with, that makes the 3 transactions $5.18 or $.32 for each item.

I still need more diapers. Pampers are going on sale next week though, and VV will be reset. I don't know how I feel about the new Pampers for newborns though.. oh well, we will see.

      • Leigh

I know what a VV coupon is and of course a manufacturer coupon. But, what is the in-ad coupon?

        • Nancy

It's the coupons you get from inside the Rite Aid circulars every week.

          • Leigh

Maybe I have the short ad cause I didn't see the Bengay one.

            • Nancy

It should have been near the back on the lower left hand corner. It didn't really stand out for me this week, but it's still a very good deal. Maybe it's because I don't really care much for the smell of Bengay! :)

            • Leigh

I still don't see it. I see one for Zantac and one for RA Lice treatments. Maybe my circular is just different????

            • Aminehdestin

In my ad, it's on page 10 in the lower left corner. It's “Save $3.00 on any Bengay or Precise cream or pathches.”

            • Leigh

My page 10 doesn't have it. My pg 10 is food.

            • Aminehdestin

Oh, so your ad is apparently different. Sometimes, you can find a coupon to print out, and a store will accept that, but it can't have “void” written over it. I can't find one though. I don't know where you're located, but you could see if any other stores in your area have the ad w/the coupon and grab a few, or get someone to send it to you? I don't know. I hate having multiple ads. I did find a man. coupon on the Bengay website for $3 off one Bengay massage product, which you could stack with the $1 Bengay VV coupon giving you $4 off but that product is a bit more expensive so not free/almost free like w/the in-ad coupon.

            • Leigh

Thanks…the next closest RA to me is like an hour. But, it's ok….I mainly want to get a few packs of Pull-ups for my 2 year old and a few packs of diapers to have built up for the baby due in Dec. And of course, being preggers, there is never enough TP so I want Cottonelle. lol. I think I will just get those items and let it be that. Thanks again for trying to help me.

            • Aminehdestin

Sorry, I gave you the same scenario types down with your original post. This one may work for you w/a fairly low OOP for diapers and the Cottonelle, as long as you have the coupons and/or can get enough printables.
Since you are new, I figured 3 transactions since you'll have all of your VV still, and it lowers the cost

              Transaction #1:
              BUY:
              (2) Garnier skincare reg. $6.49 BOGO 50% = $9.73
              (1) Huggies Pull-Ups =$8.99
              (1) Huggies Pure & Natural =$8.99
              Subtotal= $27.71
Use: $5/$25 VV, (1)$2 off Garnier VV, (2)$2 Garnier Man. q (or printables) (1)$2 Pull-Ups VV, (1)$2 Huggies Jumbo Pack VV, (1) $2 Pull-ups printable, (1) $3 Pure & Natural from mailer or $2.50 printable
Total after coupons- $8.21 or $7.71 depending on P&N Huggies coupon.
              GET BACK: (2) Garnier $3 +UP and (2) $2 Huggies +UP

              Transaction #2:
              BUY:
              (2) Huggies Little Snugglers =$17.98
              (2) Garnier skin care BOGO 50% =$9.73
              Subtotal=$27.71
USE: $5/$25 VV, $4/2 Little Snugglers man.q, (2)$2 Garnier man. q (or printables)
              AND $10 +UP from trx.#1 total = $4.71
              Get back $10 +UP

              Transaction #3:
              BUY:
              (1) Pull Ups @ $8.99
              (1) Huggies Pure & Nat. @ 8.99
              (1) Cottonelle 12 pk @ 6.49
              (2) Trident Layers BOGO @ $1.29
              Subtotal=$25.76
USE: $5/$25 VV, $2 Pull-Ups man. printable, $3 Pure & Natural from mailer (or $2.50 printable), $1 Cottonelle VV, $.50 Cottonelle Man. q (or printable), $1/2 Trident facebook printable
AND $10+UP from trx.#2 and total OOP=$3.26/$3.76 depending on diaper coupon or $4.26 if you get 2 Pull Ups instead of one each.
              GET (2) $2+UPs from Huggies
TOTAL OOP For all (totals with most expensive outlook):$17.18 and you'll have $4 left over in +Ups for next week.

            • Leigh

Thanks but now the Granier skin care isn't in my ad. Yeah, I know it sucks and is complicated. The husband told me to get a total of 3 pull-ups and 3 diapers for the new baby. And 4 packs of TP while it's cheap. If I did that in 3 transactions, would I get rebates for any of it? Or just Ups for the Huggies? Thank you again for your help.

            • Aminehdestin

4 Cottonelle will qualify you for the 2 $5 rebates. So, if you did one transaction w/3 diapers, use the $2VV for any Huggies Jumbo Pack, (3)Huggies coupons ($2-$3 depending on which you use) and the $5/$25 you'd pay between $10.97 & $13.97 and you'd get $6 in +UPs. Then do 3 Pull Ups, use (3)$2 Pull Up coupons and the $2 VV Pull Up coupon along with the $5/$25 and the $6 in +UPs from the first transaction you'd pay $7.97 and get another $6 in +UPs. Then buy the 4 Cottonelle if you can find them all, and use the last of your $5/$25 VV coupons, and the $6 in +UPs, along with a $1 Cottonelle VV and (4) $.50 man. printables and pay $11.96 OOP, which will qualify you for those 2 rebates for $10. So, OOP up front will be $30.90-$33.90 and you'll get $10 back from the rebates. Not bad at all for what you're getting.

            • Leigh

You are the one that works for Rite-Aid right? I was talking to my husband and told him the baby's not due til December. For the price, it's good to stock up on diapers but if I get a baby shower, I would get some and maybe it would be best to stock up after then and I know what, I have. Do they do diapers specials often? Another question….I read that you can only put itn for the SCR once a month. That you can put in your receipts all month but only ask for a check once. So, the question, how do you know when in the month to ask for the check? I'm sorry if I'm driving you crazy.

            • Aminehdestin

I do work at RA. We *always* have diaper deals. Seriously. There are very few weeks when we don't have diapers on sale in some capacity. Some weeks are better than others, but commonly, there is a sale. ;-) The rebates each run for one month (and there are special week long ones within that month). If you look at the rebate book, it gives you the dates. So just enter your receipts when you get them, and then after that last day go in and request. This months ends after this week. So, you'd go in your account after they all go through (sometimes it takes a few days) and you'll see on your account what went through and what's still pending, once they all clear, just hit “send me my check”. Occasionally you'll have extras where you earn a gift or a giftcard, you enter those in the same place and the same way, but once they clear, it pops up in a separate box that you've qualified for that rebate and you have to request it on top of the rebate check. Once you're known to the system, if you forget to request the check, they send you an email saying you forgot but they sent it to you for being a loyal customer. I should really be better about requesting my checks so that I wouldn't actually know that….

            • Leigh

Thank you so much! I did decide what I wanna get if they have it in stock but I do have a few other scenarios just in case they don't have my items. I really do appreciate all the advice you have given me. When I first looked at RA, it seemed so complicated but people like you and Nancy answering questions has helped alot. Thanks!

            • Brooke

Lol, I've been seeing diaper deals/scores for months and I finally started stocking up… I don't even have a kid! I told my bf… should I go ahead and get some dipes when I can? We WILL be having a baby one day right? He gave the go ahead, lol so now I'm up to 3 packs of diapers and 2 pull ups for 2 year olds in the last 3 weeks!! Let's just hope one of us doesn't turn out to be infertile. But I'm telling you what, you always hear the bank buster buying diapers are, how awesome to already have them and never have to run out to buy any in the middle of the night… and they were all free! And yes, we have plenty of space to store diapers for the next several years :)

            • Leigh

They would also make great baby shower gifts. I have 3 kids. And I just started couponing last week. This will be my first trip to RA. But, since I have a 4th due in Dec, I wanna get all the diapers I can. LOL. But, I am sure there will be more times between now and December that I can stock up. I just wish I would of saved money like this with the first 3 kids. lol But, atleast I can save on pull-ups for the 3rd and all for the 4th.

            • Nancy

            • Leigh

Where would I find a trustworthy coupon clipping service? How long does it take to get the coupons? Thanks for your helps Nancy.

            • Nancy

You can google coupon clipping services and check out each one. I personally use The Coupon Clippers. You can usually buy just about any coupon out there and you pay around 10% of the face amount of the coupon. There are some services that are cheaper, but I haven't tried them yet.

If you order the coupons now, you can just have them delivered to you by regular standard mail which will take anywhere from 2-3 days depending on where you live.
The Coupon Clippers are in Florida, so if you live in the South, you should have these in a couple of days.

I like using these services because I don't have to purchase multiple Sunday papers which can get pretty expensive. You can look up next week's circular by going to “iheartriteaid(dot)com” to plan your future deals.

            • Leigh

Thanks for the info…I am in GA so I should receive them fairly quickly. Do you know how you can look up the Kroger ad b4 it comes out?

            • Nancy

lol! Now THAT one I'm not sure about. You can try going to a website called slickdeals(dot)net and see if any bloggers on that sight have any pdf's that they forward to readers on a weekly basis. You can look on the Forums section of the site if that helps.

Otherwise, you can try and google any Kroger's blogs and you might have some luck there. I'm from New Hampshire so that is why I don't know. :)

      • Lauren

Curious here, you say employees get fired, wrote up, chewed out if they don't follow the policy, but doesn't it state limit one per customer on the In Ad q's whereas you used 2 in one transaction?

        • Aminehdestin

We've been told that it's okay to use multiple ad coupons in one transaction by our DM. He said we just need to do a “common sense limit” on how many is acceptable, so we normally stick with 2-3. We then asked if it was okay for us to to it as well, and he said it's fine. Trust me, we ask a *lot* of questions to know what's allowed and what's not. :-)

          • Lauren

Ok, I believe it was another employee on here who also said people were still getting fired for this. Their response was “But our store allows” and whoever it was higher up that did the firing said “But you know better”

            • Aminehdestin

From what I know that “you know better” reasoning was for the Video Values. Printing multiples and such, which is actually copying coupons and therefore fraudulent. I will ask my LP manager the next time I see him though, and actually get that confirmation or refusal to go one past the DM.

A lot of these match-ups are for the wrong sizes of product(Scott All You coupon is for 12 pack, Kleenex All You coupon is for bundles, while the sale is only for singles, etc..). I hope you aren't misusing your coupons.

Hi there, I have looked in my Rite Aid circular, and there is nothing listed or shown for any Garnier Skincare sale/special. Am I missing something?

      Thanks!

      Heather

      • Aminehdestin

It's on page 5 in my ad.

        • Jtorr14

I have a question since you work for Riteaid. I have 2 $6 coupons from the $128 clip and save coupon booklets for the Loreal Lash boosting product. Since this is B1G1 50% will Riteaid stores let me use both coupons since 2 have to be purchased in one transaction? Also, have you heard or seen hte $3 UP print out twice in a single transaction for the Loreal Lash booster? Thanks.

          • Aminehdestin

You can use 2 coupons in one transaction that you're buying 2 in. I haven't seen the coupons, but the only reason you wouldn't be able to use them both is if the fine print says “one per transaction” rather than “purchase” or “customer”. Even if it were a BOGO free sale, you'd be able to use both as long as the price of the 2 didn't go below $0. I haven't seen the +UPs printing multiple times for the L'oreal, because I'm on leave right now and just keeping up to date w/new things going on at the store so that I'm not confused when I go back, but from what I've read on the couple of sites I read, they are printing multiple times. Actually, so far, I haven't seen any that aren't printing multiples this week..

            • Jtorr14

Ok, thank you. The fine print says, “one per customer”. So, reading your comment it sounds like I should be able to use 2 coupons in one transaction as long as the amount doesn't go in to the negative. The coupons in the $128 clip and save Riteaid coupon booklet say “one per customer” at the bottom. Thank you once again Aminehdestin!! Your comments and insights are so helpful and greatly appreciated. If only all the cashiers at Riteaid were as helpful and nice as you in the stores.

            • Aminehdestin

You're welcome. It's no problem at all, I kind of wish all store employees treated customers the same way as well, but at the same time, I've had several people tell me that they're willing to come a few minutes out of their way to come to the store I work at rather than one that's closer to them b/c I'm not only helpful but *nice* unlike some employees. Good for my store, not so good for the company in general though.

            • Jtorr14

Are you in SC or another state? Perhaps, if you are close to where I am I would shop at the store you are at as well. I'm sure for you and some store employees it is great to have “nice”, respectful customers' as well.

            • Aminehdestin

No, I'm in GA. And yes, you have no idea how amazing it is to have nice customers. When you have a day of people trying to scam, and finding empty packages, and customers who demand everything under the sun, it's nice to have someone walk in smiling and treat you like a friend. I'm on leave all this month, and have received 4 card urging me to get back soon. That makes me feel great, and appreciated which in retail is normally not the case.

            • Thankful4hope

So, what exactly does “one per customer” mean??? Since, it apparently doesn't actually mean one per customer. I've always been confused by this and called RA CS one day who told me it means exactly what it says–that each individual customer should only use one coupon. BUt, you're saying it doesn't mean that, so what does that mean and why is it on there?

            • Aminehdestin

It does mean one per customer, but most stores allow a low number limit on them. That's what my DM has told us to do. We have tried limiting to one per customer per transaction and had complaints, so we were told to just limit them. We (he) think(s) that they'll be paid back because the right item was purchased and it's a [store] manufacturer's coupon. I think it's kind of like the “limit one per household” on the +UP program, obviously they're allowing more than 1 to print. I don't know, I just follow what we've been told. Unfortunately, I don't have a direct link to corporate to know exactly what they want us to do, and how to do it without hurting customer service. If I do get an honest answer for how they want it done and what we're supposed to do at store level, I'll absolutely let you know, but for now, all I know is what we've been told.

      • Val

You probably have the short ad- No Garnier :(

        • jenr

I'm in Nashville and my store doesn't qualify for the Garnier sale or the spinbrushes:( Also, my store is always out of stock for the sale items, but I was told yesterday that they get new shipments every Tuesday. Not sure if it is different for every store or what.

      • lyssibee

In my circular, Garnier skincare is shown on pg 5. If understand correctly, Rite-Aid has a full-version ad (in-stores & some newspapers) and a short ad (an abreviated version found in other newspapers). It says”All Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Care – regular retail $6.49 – $17.99 – Buy 1 get 2nd one 50%off (of equal or lesser value). $3 +up reward wyb this item”
        Hope this helps you!

    • Jess

Since drugstores are true BOGO's, On the Kleenex B1G1 would you have to get six boxes to use the VV 1/3 off 3 and the 1/2 manu Q?

      • No. They would still be able to take your coupon for 3 if you bought 3, or you could use (2) $1/2 manu q's if you buy for. The free ones do ring up, “0”, so the register should not beep.

      • Aminehdestin

No, you could just by 4 (since the 4th is free, there's no reason to stick w/3). The coupons just mean that you have to be purchasing 2 or 3 in that transaction, it doesn't matter what they cost (so long as the total of the 2 or 3 doesn't go below $0 w/coupons). If you bought 4 though, you'd only pay for 2, then use the VV for $1/3 and 2 man. coupons for $1/2 and you'd be getting a pretty decent deal.

      • Guest

The $1/2 mfr coupon is for BUNDLE packs and not for single packs, I hope you're using it correctly.

    • Augustashopper

Many of the “pain-reliever” freebies are really not free at our Augusta store. The rebates were a lesser amount. For example, the rebate said “up to 6.99” while the sale price was higher–$9.99. Watch it carefully…I went back to the store to return 5 products because of this.

      • Aminehdestin

You've got the short ad. You could take the long ad in with you, or a print out of it with the sales price, and the store should honor the national ad sale for you.

    • TheChapleigh

      QUESTIONS:
      1. WHERE do I get this clip & save booklet???
      2. Does the SCR#10 for BoxTop $5.oo back NOT include the jumbo pack diapers since it says “Big Pack Diapers” on the Aug SCR booklet? Apparently this rebate is cumulative, as I see some previous buys on Ziploc items from last week, however, which is good!

      COUPON!!
Check inside your jeans huggies to find a $2.oo off Q for LIttle movers… :)

      • Aminehdestin

        ANSWERS:
        (1) The clip & save books are coupon books sent out to some stores. Apparently, not all stores got them though. They are supposed to be for people getting flu shots, but in my district they were sent out to all stores, whether they have an immunizing pharmacist of not. If your store did get them, they may be up with the ads at the front of the store, at the cash registers, or management may be keeping them behind the registers to hand out with purchases. When you go in, if you don't see them out, ask if they got them in and if they're able to hand them out to customers now.
        (2) The rebate doesn't include Jumbo Pack Huggies, from what I can tell. Big Packs are the boxes of diapers, and normally, that list of qualifying items is pretty detail specific. And yes, the rebate is cumulative.

    • Cobpar

      Visit bengay.com/relief for a $3.00 off coupon.

    • Nancy

For everyone who purchased the Stopain roll-on or spray…the website for Stopain has temporarily taken the rebate form off the site, but says they will re-post the form on September 1. So no worries!

      • Guest

I have heard people saying that they've tried this in the past and that Stopain is one of the few companies that actually enforces their “not to be combined with other offers” verbage and will not honor rebates in conjunction with another rebate (like the SCR one), but either way you get it for free, right?

        • Pfsinnh

Well, the SCR deal is the full amount rebated back to the consumer, and the Stopain manufacturer's rebate is $2.00. I don't know how the people at Stopain can know for sure whether someone submits the info for their SCR. You can always try both and see what happens.

        • Aminehdestin

I *think* they'll honor the rebate with the original receipt because they can't know what every company offers, or which customers actually participate in each and every rebate available. Especially since so many people seem to despise rebates. ;-P

          • Guest

This is exactly why there are new limits and why stores/manufacturers have to go to such lengths to provide coupons—because consumers themselves refuse to honestly follow written policies unless they are strictly enforced and even then they sometimes complain about it. It's definitely the “dark” side of couponing for me to see the things that people are willing to do for a deal.

            • Aminehdestin

I don't really know anything about the manufacturers rebate to be honest. From what I just read though, the fine print does state that it cannot be combined with a retailer's rebate. So it seems to me that they do have a way to prevent double dipping there!

    • Saeweardsmith

OK, this is the 1st time that I have done RA….I see that you wait until the end of the month to request your check…so, do you do that on the very last day of the month or what? Any specifics on that?

      • Nancy

You can do it anytime you want, but it's best to wait until the end of the until you know for certain that you won't be purchasing anymore SCR items.

After you request your check you won't be able to enter any more SCR deals for that month. I'll probably request my check next Monday.

If you forget to request your check, the company will remind you through your email.

        • Saeweardsmith

          Thanks so much!!!!

      • toni

I'd wait until after the 28th because that is when the August deals end. Just make sure all of your receipts have gone through before requesting your check. For example, if you purchase something on 8/27 it usually takes 2-3 days to process it so that you get credit for the SCR. So make sure all of your receipts have been processed before requesting.

        • Saeweardsmith

          Thanks!!!

    • Amt1218

Does anyone know if Rite Aid takes back food products? I bought some granola bars that are not the right kind. My Walmart won't take food items back unless something is wrong with it. I was just wondering if Rite Aid had the same policy. The item is unopened and I do have a receipt for it. Thanks!

      • Aminehdestin

You'll have to call and ask the store. There's nothing in policy forbidding it, but most stores will have to damage out the product due to the possibility of product tampering.

    • Val

Question about the $128 Coupon Book… Is it like the Wags coupon book where one coupon can be used if you are purchasing 2 or do you have to have 2 coupons?

      • Guest

The amount will NOT come off additional items, but the terms on the coupons state “limit one per customer”

      • Aminehdestin

You have to have one for each item you're buying. They do say “one per customer” but from what we've found out from our DM is that if you are buying multiples with RA coupons, we just have to limit to a “common sense limit”. So if you have 2 of the books, cut out both coupons and chances are your store will accept it. Now, if you are wanting 24 of them w/24 coupons, you'd have to split those up between several days because that definitely goes beyond ANY common sense limit I can think of.

    • Awidener429

I have ben tring to print up the pilot pens coupon with no luck. I get to the site and sometime it freezes or it will ask for me to sign up in wich when I do it will tell me that my email is already exsists, in which that is b/c i already signed up but I can't get the coupon to print. Help????

      • Have you tried signing in instead of signing up? If you can't do that, I would suggest signing up with a different email address. If you have printed this Q before, that may be your problem. You may need to use a different computer with a different email address.

      • Guest

The coupon is emailed to you, so you have to access it through your email and print from there.

    • nc_sunshine

Has anyone tried or gotten confirmation of the 10 +UP rewards on $30-worth of select Gillette products? My store's manager had no idea about it, and thought perhaps it's only regional (I'm in Greensboro, NC). This could be a potentially great deal, since those razor cartridges normally cost an arm & a leg!

      • Aminehdestin

It's on the ad wrap. If your store has the wrap, flip the back open and it's right in the top inside corner.

    • CouponerToo

I think I understand the SCR's, but what are Up Rewards? Do I have to sign up for anything to get them? Is there a Rite-Aid card I need to get? Are they both paid thru rebates? Thanks for the help!!!

      • Aminehdestin

You do have to have the Wellness card. It just got introduced a couple of months ago. After you get the card, you get the sales prices (before long, *all* sale prices will be w/Wellness card only) and you accumulate points which gets you bonuses. You can earn up to 20% off every thing in the store (or the better of the sales price) except for tobacco/alcohol/lottery/prescriptions. When you buy an item with a +UP with your card though, the +UP reward will print on that receipt. They're good for 2 weeks (and a few days if you shop early in the week). They can only be spent in store, unlike the rebates which you actually get a check that you can deposit in to your bank account.

        • CouponerToo

Oh great, that helps a lot. Thanks! So the +Up is kind of like the ECB from CVS, they can be used right away?

          • WD

I just asked this question on the new ad thread and was told that if you ring separate transactions you can use the +UP in the same day. For example, you would ring everything qualifying for +UP in one transaction first then use those to pay for transaction #2. HTH.

            • WD

I forgot to mention, Rite Aid may be changing their policy on this:(

          • Aminehdestin

As of right now, they can literally be rolled in to your very next transaction. I don't think they're going to change that unless we start getting complaints about one customer taking half an hour to check out (most of our customers will actually step to the back of the line between transactions so we haven't had to deal w/any of that). So far the only limitations on the +UP rewards is that they can't be used to pay for tax (cashiers need to watch it though, because w/coupon usage it seems the +UP will occasionally take it below tax) and that it's to be used on a *future* purchase (no post coupons once you get it), they cannot be used after they expire, they can't be refunded and they can't be used on RX, tobacco, alcohol or lottery.

    • At the greenville,SC riteAid neither Pull-ups, or any covergirl make up was on sale – just some info

      • Brooke

Hmm, you may want to follow up on that again. I know a lot of 50% sell off stuff is going on, so that tags were properly not displayed on the shelf as on sale, but in any case if their weekly sales flyer lists it as so, then they should have to honor that

      • Astridholliman

They don't always mark everything on the shelf. My rite aid only had sale signs on some of the huggiesdiapers/pull ups. I bought the pure and natural ones and even though they weren't marked they were still on sale.

        • Bonnie

          ME TOO FITZGERALD, GA

          • Aminehdestin

Yeah, sometimes they send *way* less of the signs than they should. I know when I do ad, I try to make all the extras I need, but some you just skip over by accident, and those with +UPs we actually don't have a way to actually make it so that it says the entire sale (with +UP, it's like paying… etc) but we do try to do the best we can. Not sure about Covergirl since there's only one place for that and it really should be marked to an extent.

    • Jessdewberry

how do you guys get more than one 5 of 25 coupons?

      • Jessdewberry

        off

        • Nancy

You should get at least 2 of those when you watch your video values on the Rite Aid website, and I believe there is one on RedPlum.

I here there is going to be a new $4/$20 video values coupon. (?)

      • dharvn

i printed 2 from red plum, from jenny's link last week. then i earned 2 more watching several videos on riteaid's website.

      • Aminehdestin

Each month (at least for the past couple) there are 3 Video Values total purchase coupons. You can get one for watching the “Wellness” video, one for watching the “RX” video and one for earning 20 credits. Occasionally you can also find other printables on Coupons(dot)com and Red Plum (Jenny links it when they come up). If those are out you can normally get 2 more giving you 5 a month. If you haven't watched all the videos, do it by tonight because at midnight they disappear and the next month's videos upload. So you can get whichever you don't have from this month, and get three more first thing tomorrow!

    • Athompson3082

this may not be the best deal ever….but….i thought it was pretty good. I bought five packs of huggies and after scanning my card and using coupons the total was only 31 and some change…but wait….I got back 10 dollars in up rewards (this made me really happy because i thought they had changed it to one up per item per household) so I actually only paid 21. and some change. :-) :-) :-)

      • dharvn

i think you qualify for a SRC too.

        • Athompson3082

          I do….5 dollars :) …did i mention i love Rite aid hahahaha

The Huggies included on the rebate are the “Big Pack” diapers which are the boxes, not the Jumbo Packs that are on sale this week. I know a few people questioned whether or not it would clear since Huggies is a KC brand, but they have not cleared this time!

No, diapers don't count towards the Kimberly Clark $5 promotion

Has anyone in the Charleston, SC area gotten the $10 UP Reward for purchasing Claritin, Zegerid or Miralax?

    • Jenni

Is anybody else having trouble with getting their VV account to print any coupons? I have 2 $5/$25 From July I've not used, and it won't let me print them! I get all the way to telling my computer to print, and then it says it's transferring data from the VV site, and then my entire internet freezes up. I'm at a loss of what to do. HELP!

      • Aminehdestin

Try emailing ad perks about it! It could be a system glitch. But once they're gone, I'm not sure if the company can send them to you.

    • Jennifer

FYI-I was totally ready to buy 8 Gillette Proglide cartridges for $32.99 and use the PG 8/01 coupon for $2 off for the $10 +UP Reward wyb $30 worth of Select Gillette Products deal, but when I went yesterday, it didn't work. The manager and I looked at the Gillette products and the circular and didn't see anything about $10 +UP Rewards for $30 worth of Gillette products.

Has anyone had any issues getting credit for the rebate on the Kimberly Clark promo?

      • Cah2c

Yes, I thought I was going to get it because I purchased the Viva Papertowls, Cottonelle toilet paper, and Kleenex tissue, well over $25 worth! But, I should have checked out the details of the SCR first. Turns out those items aren't included so I didn't get the rebate.
