Veterans Day is coming!! To celebrate there are tons of restaurants and retail stores offering FREE meals and discounts for veterans and active military to enjoy.
Note: All of the deals are available on 11/11 unless otherwise noted.
Here are a few things to note for those wishing to participate in Free meals and discounts on Veteran’s Day:
Bring your military or veteran’s ID (Military ID Card, Driver’s License, a photo in uniform, wear your uniform) and also call ahead to make sure the store or restaurant you’re going to is participating.

Free Dining Deals
Applebee’s: Free entree from select menu, plus receive a $5 Bounce Back Card to redeem for a future visit within a 3-week redemption window.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: Free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with any $11.95+ purchase (dine-in only), plus receive a Bounce Back coupon for a free appetizer on your next visit, redeemable thru December 31, 2023.
Bob Evans: Free meal from select menu with dine-in only.
Bonefish Grill: Active-duty service members and veterans get a complimentary order of Bang Bang Shrimp with a soft beverage on November 11 with valid ID, plus get 10% off all day, every day.
Bruegger’s Bagels: Free hot or iced coffee with any in-store purchase.
Buffalo Wild Wings: Free order of 10 Boneless Wings and Fries for veterans and active-duty service members with valid ID. Only available for dine-in. Buffalo Wild Wings GO locations will be included for walk-in/order at the counter only.
California Pizza Kitchen: Receive a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage + choice of one entrée from their prix fixed menu when you dine-in. All persons in your party will receive a Bounce Back card for a Buy one Get one Free Pizza, Pasta or Salad, redeemable thru November 21st.
Caribou Coffee: Veterans, active-duty military members and their spouses with a valid ID receive a Small Hot Brewed Coffee of the Day or Cold Press, excluding nitro.
Carrabba’s: Complimentary dine-in appetizer or dessert paired with a soft beverage for veterans and active-duty military with show of ID. Available all day, no purchase required.
Chicken Salad Chick: Veterans and active military will receive a FREE Chick Special and regular-size drink. Stop by in uniform or with your military ID/DD214 to redeem. Dine-in only.
Chili’s: Free meal from select menu, participating locations only.
Circle K: Free coffee through the Circle K app for veterans and active-duty military.
Dave & Buster’s: Veterans get a free entree (up to $20) and a free $10 Power Card with a valid veterans ID card.
Denny’s: Free Original Grand Slam from 5am to noon for veterans and military personnel.
Dickey’s BBQ Pit: Veterans and active-duty military get a free Pulled Pork Sandwich. Valid in-store, and online/app for carryout.
Dunkin’ Donuts: Veterans and active-duty military get a free donut of their choice at participating locations. Offer available in-store only.
Einstein Bros. Bagels: Veterans and active-duty military get a free hot or iced coffee (any size) with a purchase in-store
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers: Veterans and active military personnel who visit Freddy’s on Veterans Day will receive a FREE Freddy’s Original Double with Cheese combo meal card. No purchase is necessary to receive this special offer. Cards may be redeemed through November 30, 2023
Golden Corral: Military Appreciation Night will be held on Monday, 11/13 from 5pm to close. Includes a free meal for any person who has served in the U.S. Military (retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard or Reserves).
Huddle House: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free MVP meal.
IHOP: Free stack of Red, White and Blueberry pancakes 7am to 7pm, dine-in only.
Logan’s Roadhouse: Veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free meal with a valid ID from a special menu at participating locations. This offer is available for dine-in only on November 11th from 11 am – 3 pm.
Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt: Get your first 6oz froyo FREE on Veterans Day.
O’Charley’s: Veterans and active-duty military get a FREE lunch entree from a select menu on November 10 and 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. If you visit for dinner instead, you will receive a free slice of pie. Both offers are for dine-in only.
Outback Steakhouse: Active-duty military and veterans get a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage with the purchase of an adult entree in-restaurant.
Red Lobster: Veterans, active-duty military and reservists get free printed meal vouchers for Veterans Shrimp & Chips from 11:00am to 4:00pm local time on November 11. Guests need to show a valid military ID or proof of service. The voucher can be redeemed beginning November 13 through December 10 for dine-in only.
Red Robin: Veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary Red’s Big Tavern Burger on November 11 with valid ID. Dine-in only, not valid for online or to-go orders. The free meal also comes with an endless side of steak fries.
Shane’s Rib Shack: Active, inactive, and retired military personnel get a free BBQ Pork or Chopped Chicken Plate November 9th to 11th. Proof of service required, in-store only.
Sheetz: All veterans and active-duty military personnel to enjoy a free half turkey sub and a regular size fountain drink at any location. The offer includes extras & add-ons to the sub. Sheetz will also provide a free car wash to veterans and active-duty military. This offer only applies to the $9 car wash option and is only available at Sheetz stores that have a car wash.
Shoney’s: Veterans and U.S. active-duty military get a free breakfast on November 11 until 11 a.m. at participating restaurants. Proof of military service is required. Dine-in only.
Smokey Bones: Free Create Your Own Combo. Dine-in only.
Smoothie King: Smoothie King is offering active-duty military and veterans a free smoothie from one of its three red, white, and blue smoothies at participating locations.
Sonny’s BBQ: One Free Pork Big Deal per veteran with a valid coupon on 11/11/23. Available for dine-in, takeout and drive-thru. Verify your status and register for your coupon here.
Starbucks: Free tall (12-ounce) hot or cold brewed coffee for veterans, military service members and military spouses.
TCBY: Get your first 6oz froyo FREE on Veterans Day.
Wendy’s: Free breakfast combo offer with valid military ID or a Veterans Advantage card at participating locations.

Academy Sports + Outdoors — Active-duty service members and veterans get 10% off the entire purchase online or in-store from October 22 to November 12.
Food Lion: On November 11, veterans and active-duty military members save 10% on their in-store shopping purchase total before taxes. Excludes alcohol (beer and wine), tobacco, gift cards, lottery, pharmacy, postage stamps and services. Must show military ID and use MVP Card at checkout.
Great Clips: Veterans and active service members can go into any Great Clips salon and get a free haircut or a free haircut card for a future visit.
Home Depot: Extra 10% off your purchase every day.
IKEA – From November 10 through 22, veterans and active military members with a valid ID get a 15% discount on in-store home furnishings purchases, up to $3000 (pre-tax).
Kohl’s – Active and former military personnel, veterans, and their families receive 30% off qualifying in-store purchases from November 10 through 12. Valid military ID is required.
Lowe’s: Extra 10% off your purchase everyday.
National Parks – Free entry for everyone, November 11th.
Office Depot and OfficeMax – Veterans, active duty and retired military personnel, reservists, and their dependents receive 25% off qualifying regular and sale-priced purchases in stores nationwide November 11 through 13.
Publix – 10% discount to all veterans and active duty on November 11.
Rack Room Shoes – Military personnel and their dependents get a 20% discount off their entire purchase in store on November 11.
Rite Aid – From November 10 to 12, customers with a valid military ID or proof of service are eligible for 15% off regular-priced items at any location. Customers must be members of the Rite Aid Rewards program. In-store purchases only.
Sea World and Busch Gardens – Free admission or discounts for Military and Veterans at select Sea World and Busch Gardens parks once a year.
Sports Clips – Free haircut on November 11th for veterans and active duty
Target – Target is offering a 10% military discount from October 29 through November 11 to all active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families. The discount can be used on two separate transactions and applies to all in-basket items, online and in-store.
Texas Roadhouse – Dine in or receive a meal voucher on November 11, 2023 from 11:00am – 2:00pm with a form of Military ID. This is for active duty and veterans.
Under Armour – Active-duty service members, veterans, military spouses and military family members get up to 40% off their purchases between November 2 and 19. Verify here.
Walgreens – Extra 20% off your regular price purchase, November 10 thru 13, in-store only.
