          GOOD LUCK!!!:)

      • jenjim4

So what your saying it its best to buy 2 at a time as opposed to 3?

    • Tonton

Where do we get the “get more from your Pharmacy books”??

      • Jeff

        Kroger pharmacy –

    • Linda P.

The 5/1 P&G has a $4.00 coupon for the Gillette Fusion Proglide.

    • LoriB

Do you have to buy two items for B1G1? Or does it ring up half price?

      • cvs lady

You have to buy 2. The first item rings up at full the price and the second item at zero.

    • Coupongal18

Man, I'm disappointed in this ad – about the only thing I really NEED or would be interested in is the GUM flossers and I just don't know that it's worth the drive to pick up one thing……

      • CCShad

        GUM flossers – coupons(dot)com had a printable, .75/1 for those, expires 5/30/11.
My Walgreens list will be short too, if I go at all.

        • Angela

I looked for it and can't find it. Do you know which zip? Thanks!!

    • savinmavin

There is a coupon in the May book for $1 off 2 skinny cows, combine with the $1 off facebook coupon will be a good dea.

    • Couponing Rocks!

So I know you have to have as many items as coupons, but do the coupons in the May book not count toward your total? I know the in-ad ones don't, but it looks like from Jenny's transactions above, they don't either???

      • Amy

Yes, you are right, the May book coupons do not count. Hope this helps!

    • jenny

If I am planning on buying 4 Cottonelle TP can I do two separate transactions to get the most RR?

      • sarahcas

You can, but if you want to get the RR the second time, be SURE not to use the $3 RR from the first transaction or it won't print on the second one.

      • Jenndennmk

That's what I was thinking, too.

      • Mac's Mommy

I was thinking the same thing – buying 2 items yields $1.50 RR per item, buying 3 items yields $1.33 RR per item. I would go for buying 2 items at a time. As long as it is not busy, my Walgreen's is really great about ringing separate transactions. But I've never asked them to ring more than 2.

    • Megan

Thanks for all that you do!

      Here's what I'll be getting:

      1 ProGlide razor $10
      1 Noxzema 4-pack razor $4
      2 Head & Shoulders $8
      4 fillers $1

      – (1) $4/1 ProGlide q
      – (1) $2/1 Noxzema razor q
      – (1) b1g1 Head & Shoulders q
      – (4) $3 RR's

      oop: $1
      get back $10 RR!

      • Nona

where did you get the Noxzema coupon from?

        • Megan

It will be in the paper this weekend, I forget which specific insert. :)

      • ways2save

will they allow you to use (4) $3 RR's in one transaction?? Need to know , I have several from last week. Thanks

        • I think so. Most likely you will need filler items though. I always make sure I have one more item than I have q's

        • Spots428

with RR's you can use as many as you have. You just need to make sure that you have at least one item per coupons that you intend on buying. For example 5 coupons means that you must have at least 5 items. The total of your order also must be more then the coupun amount before taxes. Lastly, you need to make sure that you are not using an RR for an item that you are buying in this order and if you are then you wont get another cououn back. For example if you got a $2 RR for kleenex and then tried to buy more kleenex with it, then you would not get another RR back for the secound klenex purchase.

          • Megan

Precisely right! I use the little 25 cent candy sticks by the register as my fillers, and only recently learned of the whole “can't use an RR on an item that gives an RR if it's the same brand. Luckily my RR's this week are from the Stayfree last week.

        • Toni

Yes, but remember that RR are considered manufacturer coupons and that is why you must have as many items in your cart as you have manufacturer coupons. (RR are not like CVS's ECB's which are like cash.) For instance, if you use 5 manufacturer coupons (including RR coupons) in your transaction, you must have at least five items you are purchasing. That is why Jenny's designated “filler items” can come in handy.

      • SweetGirl

Where did you get coupon 4$ off Gillette Proglide? One from April PG will be expire on 04/30!!!

        • Linda P

          There is a $4.00 coupon in the 5/1 P&G

    • jenjim4

I've never used the savings books in the May one would I tear it out or do they just scan it? So if I plan on using 2 Cottonelle coupons from it would I need to get 2 books? thanks

      • Staceyf

You only need one store coupon and you don't have to tear it out, they can scan it from the book. But just one coupon is needed to get the store $ off. One it scans, it takes it off for each you buy. I find it easier to tear them out so I can keep track when I am stacking. You would only need 2 books if you wanted what was on the other side of the coupon, if they take it and keep it. You could always ask for it back.

      • Lisabluedevil

They do keep the coupons from the book so you need to tear it out. If it is in the same transaction you can use one for both items.

        • mandy

They don't keep them. If they take them from you it's because you handed it to them. They throw them away as soon as they scan it.

        • Boxer Mom

we throw them out. The only time we need to keep ad coupons or monthly book coupons is if they are coded as a normal manufacture coupons with a 5 or a 9 as the first number the ones that are 000000001234 (for example) are walgreens coupons so we don’t need to keep them

      • Kayrums56

It's better to tear them out, so you remember to use them. I didn't tear them once, paid for my purchases, then remembered. It was a hassle, they had to return the items, then rescan them.

      • Boxer Mom

you could always paper clip your manf. coupons to the coupon book. Tearing out your coupons means each deal you do during the month you’ll need a new book. Keeping the same one all month prevents the store from running out. You could also right down the 4 digit code on your shopping list because thats all the cashier needs to enter

    • singlewoman26

Got the Allegra Coupons up and others too. If you want something not listed inbox me on Ebay. I only have newspaper coupons I don't have the tearpads or Walgreens booklets (I just feel its wrong to take those things to sell on Ebay). My user name is singlewoman26 and I have 100% feedback. Located in Raleigh NC if this helps with delivery time!!!

      • Yes, your location helps me. I’m ‘down the street’ in Durham. I’ll save you in my favorites on ebay in case I ever need your services.

    • Edgardolobo1996

Excuse me you guys were do you get the Right Gurad $1 off In store-dispenser coupon? Im wondering in what stores do they have it?

      • Bev

There is no set rule on the blinkie dispensers. Some stores have them and some do not. You just have to be on the lookout for it. BUT – Good Luck finding any at this late date – it has been out for a while now and there is coupon mania going on.

    • Shmoopie202

ok i have $3 RR and a $4 RR from the other day. Can I use them with the may coupon on 3 of the toliet papers or will it not print out the RR for it? Thanks

      • Megan

It should still print out an RR.

      • Danielle

As long as you are not using a RR from the same manufacturer, it should print a new one.

    • KonnieTeaches

I'm branching out into Walgreens this week… where would I find the May coupon books? In store?

      • meg

Yes you find them instore usually as soon as you walk in you will see a stand with the ad for the week and the coupon booklet!

      • Crystal Reynolds98

They are usually in the front entryway of the store.

      • Bev

It is truly amazing to me that folks are grabbing stacks of these booklets as well. Lately my WAGs runs out of them in the first week of the month, ever since that stupid show started. Calm down, folks….. you don't need more than one of these booklets to last you all month. All you have to do is show the coupon to the cashier – you don't even have to rip it out of the book – they input the code and then you keep it and reuse it as often as you like throughout the month.

        • Gatorginger

If you can't find a book you can always go on line and print the coupons because they have them online too

        • mandy

You don't even have to have a copy of the book unless you just need to know if an item is in it or not. When you go to check out just tell the cashier their is a coupon for the particular item in their monthly coupon book (IVC Book) and they will be able to enter it.

      • JTTLC

I finally found mine today. They are located right with the weekly flyers in my store. Until I started couponing a couple of weeks ago I never even noticed them. But there they were plain as day! Tons of coupons in there!

    • Megan

      • Mac's Mommy

Yeah, that's what I thought. Guess I didn't explain it well on my previous post.

      • Kayrums56

I did the same thine on the splenda. 2 transactions with 2 each made 3rr on both trans. Why would you just but 3, unless you just want 3

    • Does anyone know if the May booklet is out yet or do they hold them until the 1st?

      • Megan

Probably hold them until the 1st, I haven't seen any yet.

      • Wolvesnbrick

On Saturday. In the 24 hour stores the new books will go out Saturday night.

    • Nejiffer

On the Oscar Meyer bacon; if they are 2 for $3.50 and you use 2 coupons at .55 ea. that makes each pack of bacon $2.95, not $2.45. You can't use 2 coupons on just 1 pack and even if you could, then the cost would be $2.40, not $2.45.

      • ktcat777

It's using one coupon on each pack, and then the discounted price also includes the $1.00 Register Rewards.

    • Duggerld

I dont see a $1.50 off bandaid OR neo….did i miss it? anyone able to get it & would like to trade a couple for any others?

      • Rudydoescakes

I couldnt find it either. I think its a typo:/

      • Henaomiller

        1.50q will exp on sat!

      • cahugh4

It's not a typo. The Q is for $1.50 bandaid AND neo products. Some of them do expire tomorrow, however I have a few that do not expire until the middle of this month so they do exist.

        • cahugh4

when I said “this month”, I meant May. Sorry I'm kinda jumping ahead of myself.

    • Mlahodik

      Newbie here, question:
if I buy two right guard deodorants, use the b1g1 coupon can I use two $1 off coupons, in which case it would be a $1 money maker?
      (2) @ 2.99 each use (1) bogo, get $2 rr and use (2) $1 off, or am I only allowed to use (1) $1 off since I'm getting one free?

      • You can only use 1 of the $1off coupons.
The reason is that the B1G1 attaches to the second item and the $1 off attached to the first. Since its one coupon per item, you get 2 items and 2 coupons. Make sense??

        • Pamwil88

I did this at CVS one week and they did it for me three times. I had a b1g1 on the Gillette deodorant, it was on clearance for $1.89. I used the coupon, b1g1 and used a $2 off of one. It went though, the first time the mgr did it and the second time another cashier did it twice. I was not sure that it would go throughtso I had only brought one set of coupons with me, and then when it did I came back the next day and was preparing to stock up on free deodorant. The cashier did it twice and on the third time, she looked closely and saw that it was free and told me that she could not do it. I told her that her manager had did it once and she had just did it twice, she said she was told that she could not do it and called the manager. I spoke with the manger and he said he could not do it, I told him that he was the one who did it first but he refused. I call the District manager and they were told to take my coupon.

    • Wolvesnbrick

You can only use one mfg coupon per item at Walgreens so I am not understanding your math here. The only way you can use multiple coupons on an item is if you use and ad coupon, a month-long book coupon, and/or a register reward. But you cannot use two $1.00 mfg coupons (as example) on one item. The register will not allow it and it will leave the couponer with a lot of frustration and having to spend money they did not plan on.

      • Danielle

Which item are you talking about?

        • Wolvesnbrick

Not any particular item. Any item. The registers will not allow more than one manufacturer coupon per items in the sale.

      • Kristylee1966

cvs too. bought the dove deoderant for .99 took $1 off then .98 on the other one.

      • Stacie

        What are you referring to?

        • Wolvesnbrick

I was referring to the listing above showing use of multiple coupons on one product. It does not have to be any particular product. The rule across the board is ONE manufacturer coupon per item-no more. The ONLY way you can use more than one manufacturer coupon is if you buy two of the same product and you have a “Save on Two” coupon and a “Save on One” coupon. The system will not allow you to use more than one otherwise. The best way to do it is to use ONE manufacturer coupon, an ad coupon, and/or a book coupon (you can also use a register reward as long as you have filler items to account for the one manufacturer coupon per item rule).

          • amy

She provides all the coupons that are currently available, she's not saying to use them all. I think we all know to use just on mfg coupon per item.

    • Wolvesnbrick

very true Spots428. If you use a register reward on the same product you got it from you will not get a second register reward. And as you said you still pay sales tax so there is no absolute free on anything. Walgreens does not give you profit back from a coupon. In fact they will only allow the coupon to go up to the amount before taxes on the item.

    • Wolvesnbrick

Also something to consider: many register rewards are now printing with a generic product range instead of the specific product. It is something worth paying attention to. Now some register rewards are printing generically with P&G or Johnson&Johnson in place of the product you bought in the first place. In my experience some of these generic register rewards will null any other register rewards you may get from a next order when you use the generic one. So if you get one from Crest that says P&G on it instead of Crest and then you use it on your next order in which you are expecting a register reward back on say Head & Shoulders, you might not get that second register reward. Just a heads up.

      • Megan

I'll definitely be paying attention to this! Thank you!

      • Rudydoescakes

        Yes, this is true!

      • ChrissyPunkin

I found the opposite to be true recently. I rolled RRs for Venus razors to get more Venus razors a few weeks ago, and I bought many of the Always month-long deal and rolled those on the same product as well. RRs printed every time.

    • SweetGirl

Well. So, do we have coupon for 4$ off Gillette Proglide razor in PG from 01/05 or we don't?

      • Megan

Last I heard, we are. :)

        • SweetGirl

          Thanks, girls!!!

      • Linda P.

Yes, I have the P^G for 5/1 and there is a $4.00 Gillette Proglide razor.

    • Ethrift1

Food Lion has lean cuisine entree's this week for 88 cents plus you can use one dollar of three cuisines!

    • nate

I have a question about the $3 RR on $10 purchase. Is the $10 before or after coupons? I have $2 off Tide Stain release, will $3.99 or $1.99 count towards the $10 total?

      • Megan

The $3.99 will count towards the $10 purchase!

      • Stacie

It's $10 before coupons. $3.99 will count toward the total.

        • Wolvesnbrick

Megan and Stacie, I would be careful with this one. Corporate Walgreens is revamping their system. In many cases if the tag says spend $10 on a particular brand, such as Tide, to get a $5 RR, then the system is also counting the coupons as of late. Too many times I have had the RR not print until the total after coupons was still $10. Try it first and if it does not work you can have the associate page a manager to void the transaction (in which case you will have to add that particular product to equal $10 to get the RR).

    • Mbward86

Heads up, there will be a Noxzema coupon in some Sunday papers this Sunday that will make that deal FREE!

    • Rwh6

how many times can you do the cottonelle transaction. Just wondering if I can take my RR and do it again.

      • Jnn_horan

You can do it as many times as you like, but if you use the cottonelle RR to pay for another cottonelle deal you will not get another RR…..you need to use an RR from another manufacturer.

        • Rwh6

          Thank You :)

    • Jlaureano87

If I but 3 of the Noxema razors in a single transaction, will I receive 1 $3 RR or 3 $3 RR?

      • Bamasaver

You have to do them in separate transactions to get multiple RRs–only one will print at a time. And you cannot use a RR toward the purchase of the same product or you won't get your second RR.

    • steph

There is a $4 off Cottonelle Toilet Paper Coupon on CouponNetwork if you are a member…that means…if you can get ahold of 3…that you will make $4 to buy 36 rolls of toilet paper!

      • steph

        never mind…its a yourbucks offer…not a coupon

        • Jen

Dumb question, but what is a yourbucks offer?

          • Laura S.

Catalina offers that anyone can get when they purchase a product.

    • Caitback1

If you use a 24 hour Walgreens for the 5/1 add could you shop tomorrow night at midnight?

      • Wolvesnbrick

Yes sales in 24 hour stores actually begin on Saturday night. Just to be sure things ring up go after 7 PM. However if tags are up and it does not ring they have to fix it. One thing to keep in mind ad coupons may not work until after 7 or later. Another thing to keep in mind RR will not print until Sunday usually, the day the ad actually starts.

        • mandy

All stores sales begin Saturday night, my local store which is not a 24 hour store starts the sale at 4 pm, that way you get last weeks deal and this weeks deal together.

    • Gin

My local Walgreens B1G1 is LITERALLY, you buy the first at full price and the second is free – is this store policy or by manager? I can't locate that part on their coupon guide??? Confused Newcomer

      • Lzbacnik

        store policy

      • Ltrotter8518

My Walgreens is the same way but I can stilll use 2 coupons. Have you tried to use 2?

      • Se Sharpe

Thats the best way, they will literally be free. Some stores ring them half price and the b1g1 doesnt equal free to them. Use the 2 coupons.

    • Marlene

Jenny – you'll need an additional filler item in Transaction #2 if you're using $4RR from Transaction 1 ….
      Transaction #2
      Buy:
      (1) Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor $9.99
      *(2) small filler item 10¢
      Use:
Manufacturer Coupon -$5 off Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor, March Ebony magazine
      Store Coupon -$2RR, -$2RR
Total Due: 99¢+ cost of the fillers

      • Suemac1

And an extra filler item in Transaction #3 as well, I think. 4 items (3 Cottonelle, 1 filler item), but 5 coupons (4 Cottonelle, $5 RR). Add an extra filler item to get 5 one coupon per item.

    • Leanna

New at couponing. Say I have a $5 RR buck and I only use $3, do I get the other 2 back?

      • Lzbacnik

no, you do not get it back.

      • Jen

You MUST spend at least $5 to use it. You can either add another deal or just have fun spending the other $2! (I like to use my RR specifically on deals that will give back RR's. Just seems to save the most money.)

        • Jen

$4 RR wyb (when you buy) $5 Air Freshener
$1 RR wyb 99 cent Toothpaste
I give them my $5 RR, any coupons I might have, plus some tiny, cheap nothing (like 39 cent candy bar), pay the difference past the $5, plus tax. They give me back two RR's: a $4 RR and a $1 RR.
          Hope this helps!
PS I KNOW it feels weird when you first start. Go to the cosmetics counter. Always easier. Let them know you're new. A good cashier can help you!

    • Jen

Is it worth subscribing to Ebony magazine for their coupons? Or was that $4 coupon just a fluke?

    • Jduncan103

where do u get more from your pharmacy booklet?

      • Guest

Kroger I think, although I've never been able to find one.

    • Er40

New to this, what is a filler item?

      • Mooseministries

an item you don't have a coupon for.

    • Vince5428

where do I find a 10c filler? please

      • Hendrixcoupon

I'm new too but i believe it's referring to any item you can get for .10. Like the individual Easter candies they are trying to get rid of. She mentioned this in the class I took Thursday. Hope this helps.

      • Jen W

One of the Walgreens stores near me has a huge display of Laffy Taffy individual candies, all 10c each…. You should also be able to find some clearance Easter items under 50c this week :)

    • free?

      does walgreens accept expired coupons?

      • nancycrom

Not the one near me, but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask at yours.

    • Triplettk

What is the $25 dinner coupon that you get for buying prevacid?

    • jenjim4

What is the “in store dispenser” says it under right guard deal.

      • Leanna

It is a coupon dispenser they will have in the store close to the product.

    • RJ

can't remember – does WAGS print RR's for Sunday's ad tonight?

      • RJ

read down a few comments and found my answer…I am off!

        • RJ

arrrgggh. nevermind. I want a RR deal, but my coupon expires today, so it is a trade off. Any luck with day old coupons at WAGS?

          • RJ

talking to myself some more…so the sales are effective today, but RR's don't print til Sunday :-( Right?

          • Amy

Wags wouldn't take my tampax coupon that expired yesterday.

            • RJ

Thanks. I plan to try my luck with the Herbal Essences b1g1 coup that exp. yesterday and hope to score the RR to go with. We will see!

    • HomeschoolingCouponingMom

Just thought I'd share a funny moment that happened to me at Walgreens yesterday. I went in to do the Splenda RR deal. I was buying 2 boxes of Splenda and had 2 $3/1 Qs. The cashier looked at the coupon, which apparently said “Do not double”, looked at me and said “This says do not double. That means you can't use 2 coupons at one time.” Ummm…what?!? She called the manager over and I told them I'd been in earlier and checked out with another cashier- I'd bought 3 boxes and used 3 coupons during my other trip- and it worked just fine. The manager told me “Well, he must have pushed the coupon through. He shouldn't have done that, but I'll let you use both coupons.” Geez, people!

      • LeAnna

        dnd….=can't use two….gotta love it!!!

      • AKellyinVA

hahaha That is so funny!! Sorry you had a hard time, but that's quite comical! lol

    • Barbara

Just curious….I just saw the new ad and did not see any Register Rewards listed for the Cottonelle toilet paper…only the $1 off store coupon. Anybody find it in the ad?

      • Mandy

It's a month long deal – I don't think the monthly deals are usually listed in the ad…

        • Barbara

Thanks so much! Hope it works for me after reading several posts saying they did not get the RRs!

    • jaxs

I stopped shopping at wags but im wanting to try again. Last time i was there they wouldnt let me use a B1G1 coupon on a sale item that was B1G1. Has any one else had this problem.

      • Leanna

I did not have that scenario, but I did have to get stern with them this week and the lady would not get me retail price off of a B1G1 because it was on sale for B!G1 50% off. Instead of giving me retail price off, she only gave me sale price.

      • Greg

I just went and got a b1b1 w/ a b1g1 q. The cashier said that tech. they are not suppose to use a b1g1q on a b1g1 sale, but that they don't really keep up with it, and the way she sees it, walgreens is still getting their money from someone, so she let me go with 2 free shower gels.

    • Leanna

Ok, still new and have a question. When something is listed as a “money maker”, so I get money back, get a RR or do I need to buy something to use up the money I am making? There is a couple of money makers this week and this will be my first ones to try. Thanks for any help given.

      • Raynesmw

You will not get money back. For example if your bill is 1.36 and let's say you get a $4 RR, then you have “made some money” toward your next purchase.

    • newbie

Where do you get the walgreens coupon booklet? Is it in the store?

      • Mhmeacham

I found mine at the front of the store on the display where they keep the shopping baskets and the weekly ad.

      • Leeanneowens

Yes. It is usually somewhere close to the door when you enter the store with the weekly circulars. There is a new Walgreens coupon booklet each month.

    • Brandy

I have (2) BOGO coupons for Head & Shoulders. To get the reward above, would I need to use both coupons, for a total of 4 bottles, 2 of which would be free and 2 of which I would pay for?

      • ways2save

To use both your coupons you would have to get 4 bottles thats correct.

    • Couponrocks

Rebecca, at Walgreens on Reidville, has a nasty attitude. Instead of admitting we were wrong. She said,” It was your fault being to busy to leave. I NEVER forget to give a receipt . ” ( Before Rebecca said this, she calls the manger & tells her,” I've made this mistake once.”) I said,” Every cashier just puts the receipt in my bag.” ” You were too busy leaving, & I was too busy trying to help the next customer,” Rebecca said. ” We both made a mistake.” Rebecca reply,” No! Come back at 3 to get your $5 back. The manager right now don't know how to give $5 back.” I left.

For the first time, I wanted to see why I paid so much at Walgreens. Most of the time, I just throw the receipt away. Greenvile newspaper went up. I haven't bought newspapers in a while. :(

    • AJohnson

Okay. I am new to this couponing thing and have a question. Why do I need a small .10 cent filler item when purchasing the (3) packs of Cottonelle Tissue?

      • Raynesmw

Because at Walgreens your number of coupons can't exceed the number of items purchased. So if you have 6 items, you can't use 7 coupons, the RR counts as a coupon. So, you have to find a “filler” item to count as an item so that you can use all your coupons.

    • Raynesmw

I went to Walgreens this morning, and my receipt is really weird, never looked like this before. First the shelf tag for the Right Guard Body Wash is like 2/4.49 (which I suppose is BOGO?) On my receipt it looks like at least 2 rang up half price??? Never had it like this before. The cashier almost wouldn't let me us the BOGO to get both free. I told her I had the policy in the car (I really did) and she slid it on through. Anybody else notice some differences with these ringing up?

      • Tnrxsls

Hey! At Walgreens, typically even when it says B1G1 for $4.49 (ie 2/$4.49) they ring up each @ half the price so that if you return 1 for whatever reason the price will be correct… I totally agree though that Wag's receipts are confusing sometimes!

      • Kelly Valentine

I had the same thing happen this morning, they're getting sneaky but my husband went to a different one 5 miles down the road and they rang up 4.99 with the second one being free! It's crazy that different stores computer's work differently!

    • jaxs

Cant find coupons for Renuzit Crystal Elements. Has any one had luck with thes

    • dkaf

Okay, in transaction #1 how do i still owe 2.99 and not just 1$. If I use the b1g1 coupon on the deoderant isnt it then free and i would just owe on the flossers?

      • Mandy

Walgreens is not having a B1G1 sale on the deodorant, only on the body wash. So, your coupon is paying for one and you still have to pay for the other (minus the $1 coupon). HTH

    • RC

Went to walgreens this morning and the ad had the cottenelle
toilet paper on sale but with no RR's…anyone else run into this? Is it because it says it's a month long deal?

      • jaxs

that sticks. that was the whole reason I was going to wags. looked at my wags flier and it says nothing about RR

        • Raynesmw

The RR are not advertised in the flyer. It's kind of like the Splenda deal and Folger's deal a while back. Not advertised, but when you buy the products it prints out. I went this morning and bought 2 of the big packs, they had a circular $5 label on them, and my RR was $3. I think if you buy 3, your RR is $4? Hope this helps!

      • mommyof3

I had no problems at my walgreens this morning. I bought (2) 12pk cottonelle, used (2) .50/1 coupon and the store q. for a total of $5.60 with tax. The $3 RR printed just fine.

      • InkyStink

Villa Rica, GA….had the same issue. Bought 3 cottonelle and no RR's printed. I was upset but the cashier didn't know anything about the month long deal. Is there anything we can do to get the RR's that should have printed?

      • Jenn

Does anyone know if it works in Texas?

    • Amy

I just bought 6 items at Walgreens – 4 Bic Soliel razors and 2 Kotex U products. I had a coupon for each item. The cashier wouldn't let me pay with my RR I earned last week because I used a coupon on each item. So does that mean you can only use your Walgreens RR when you don't have coupons for the items you are buying? I don't think that is right. I had to pay $16 out of pocket when I had $16 in Walgreens money in my purse.

      • CCShad

One drawback to shopping at Walgreens is that since RRs are actually manufacturers coupons, you cannot use more man coupons than items purchased. That is why you see people posting about “filler items”. You could have bought 6 filler items at .10 each and then you could have used all your coupons.

        • Amy

          Thanks, I've learned.

      • How many paper RRs did you have. You had 6 items and 6 coupons. You only need fillers for every extra coupon. Example if you had 4 $4 RRs then you needed 4 fillers. … :) it gets easier I promise

      • guest

u need a filler, can't have more coupons than items in your transactions. Wags coupons do not count in your total if you present them last. I hold mine and then pass it to the cashier at the very end. Had some unfriendly stores say they couldn't scan it at the end,,,,but they did and it takes them.

    • Arienjw3

i found Dawn dish liguid 10.3 oz cupone in the walgreens paper to get it for .99 and also found a .25 coupone in the P&G brandsaver in this weeks paper so that makes it .74

    • Tnrxsls

OK, somehow I am totally confused about the cottonelle deal… can someone help me, please? I just can't get the math to add up- I'm super sure it's just me!

      • Knitmom

        Buy 3 @ $5 each…that's $15

        Minus $3 Walgreens coupon…that's $12

        minus (3) .50/1 Manufacturer coupons…that's 10.50

Minus $4 RR (coupon to use later)…that's 6.50

Total price each is $2.16 or $2.17

      • lalalandadventures

The May coupon book has a $1 off 1 that when you scan it will automatically take off both that you are getting (assuming you get two at a time which is the best deal) and then you also use 2 of the $.50 off prints so you are saving a total of $3 off your $10 purchase – Total out of pocket is $7 but you receive $3 RR so you are paying $4 for 2 12 pks of Cottonelle. Hope this helps!

    • Melanie

I have a question, I am about to head to Walgreens and want to make sure I am doing this right. If I buy 1 flosser (2 rr), 1 soleil razor( 2 rr)and one gillette razor ( 5 rr) will all 3 RR print out or do I have to do these all in different transactions to get my RR for each one?

      • guest

        they will all print out

    • Exsquid22

Again…..No coupons for above mentioned acorn deals in my sunday paper. Getting so frustrating. No Noxemia, no right guard. :( Just wish one time we could have the same coupons avail to all. Sorry, had to vent. Hope everyone else has a good week.

    • Greg

I just went for the sales. Got 2 right guard shower gels, 2 tylenol precise, 2 lysol kitchen cleaner, 3 scotch tapes, and a diet coke(I got thirsty saving so much). My total oop 8.58. Total saved 33.67. This is only my second week q'ing but i'm picking it up.

    • Jlaureano87

Went this morning and they had 2 packs of the noxema razors shrick rapped together as a BOGO so I ended up getting double the amount of razors!

    • Minkyatee

I wonder if my Walgreens will ever get the Splenda in stock? 3.00 coupons expire tommorow. Boo hoo! LOL!

      • Cdtching

Go to Walmart. They will price match!!!! That's what I did!

        • Tiffeaddington

they price match but they won't accept a coupon on top of that, you have to decide which deal you want more, the walgreens price or $3 off the wal mart price..

    • Wendy_2455

About the scotch tape – will the printed magic tape coupon work with the transparent tape store coupon? Has anyone tried to use the manufacturer's coupon?

    • Allegra deal doesn't work cuz the in-add coupon is not for the Cheaper ones. Cheapest one was $16.99 . Still not a bad deal. but you can only get one…

    • jaxs

Just did 3 transactions at wags.
1st one… B1G1 on the right guard, and gum go-between (some how i grabbed the wrong item so no RR) spent 3.55 saved 11.98. BUT still good.
      2nd one… 1pk of noxzema razors 3.99 (-2.00), 1pk of bic razors 5.99 (-3.00) and eez floss 2.00..spent 7.82 saved 6.99 plus 7 in RR
3rd one…3pks of cottonelle (-1.00×3 +.-.50×3), renuzit crystals bogo (no coupon :-(, but love these) and 1 candy bar. used 7 in RR spent 12.56 and saved 18.89. Received 4 RR.
Getting better and this savings thing. Happy Savings
      total spent 23.93…..total saved 37.86

    • Ava

Just wanted to let everyone know about the Johnson & Johnson deal. I bought a roll of tape (2.49) and a small box of gauze (2.49) at B1G1 50% off. Used $2 RR from the flossers and 1.50 off two coupon that was in front of the products. So it ended up being .49 (including tax) for the tape, gauze and the free first aid bag with $15 in coupons. I had to ask for the bag, they didn't have them out on the shelf. It will ring up as 4.99 but automatically come off.

    • Cdtching

How can I explain to the cashier that by using a B1G1 coupon on the Right Guard I should get both for free since it is on sale as a B1G1????

      • jaxs

had the same problem. they only wanted to give half off on b1g1. i had to get the manager.

        • Cdtching

How did you explain it to them??

          • Michelle_rebert

You can print their coupon policy that states “When items are featured in a b1g1 promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net proce does not go below zero for the items purchased. Sales tax must be paid for the b1g1 coupon offers, if required by law.
            Hope this helps.

      • Kward17

I did this last time they had the sale and had no issues… Guess it depends on the store. They should both be free though except the tax

      • Mlahodik

I'm having to go back later and take back my body wash, as they would not take the bogo coupons, but the register didn't take it either. Should I try a different store?

    • Lorri

Can someone help me out please? I understand the Wags policy of one coupon per item and using filler items, but Jenny suggests filler items that require an in-ad coupon. Do the in-ad coupons not count towards the coupons per item count? (I hope this makes sense.)

      • Couponing Rocks!

The in-ad weekly coupons do not count as a coupon, but at my Wags, the coupons in the monthly book, did count as a coupon.

        • Lorri

Thanks so much. I've tried Wags before and each time turned out to be a fiasco with their rules, so I'm trying to plan VERY carefully. I just hope they're not out of anything that would mess up my scenarios.

      • Raynesmw

Be sure to give them all your manufacturing coupons and RR before you give them the in ad coupons or the coupons from the book. I usually have them ready for the very end. That seems to help. Another hint-I call out the last 4 digits on the Walgreen coupons and the cashiers just punch those numbers in at the end. The ones I know have told me this is easier for them, but this may not be true at every Walgreens.

    • Couponing Rocks!

Here was my day at Walgreens. I did this through multiple transactions/going to multiple stores, but going to put it all together to make it easier. I started with 0.00 RR & ended with 0.00 RR.

      Bought
      4 Cottonelle 12 packs @ 5.00 each = 20.00 (Received 6.00 RR 3 & 3)
      3 Gum EZ Flosser @ 2.00 each = 6.00 (Received 6.00 RR 2,2,&2)
      2 Noxzema Razors @ 3.99 each = 7.98 (Received 6.00 RR 3 & 3)
      3 Glad Trash Bags @ 5.99 each = 17.97
      4 newspapers @ 1.00 each = 4.00
      2 Kit Kats @ .50 each = 1.00
      2 Silly Banz clearance fillers @ .25 each = .50
      Tax = 5.31
Total after tax before coupons = 62.76

      Used:
      4 – .50 Cottonelle (2.00)
      4 – 1.00 Walgreens Cottonelle (4.00)
2 – 2.00 Noxzema Razors (4.00) printed off Redplum since my paper didn't have
      1 – 1.00 Glad Force Flex (1.00)
      2 – .75 Glad trash bag (1.50) in today's paper
      RR (18.00)

      Total OOP = $32.26

Plus, I took the 4 – 3.00 off Bic disposables coupons I got in my papers to Publix to get these razors for free!

    • Nekkednekmama

Could someone explain the filler items to me. I don't have an RR's yet. I plan to go to Wags this week and have my Dad do my second transaction with my second set of Q's with the RR's I earned from my transaction. It will be all the same products.

    • Nekkednekmama

Sorry, I just found the explanation on the site. I think I get it.

    • Knitmom

NO RR at my Walgreens for the Cottonelle…was this regional????? What am I missing??????????

      • Frances

I had the same problem my Walgreens said they do not print RR on Sunday

        • Wendy_2455

Unless that is a specific store policy, they fed you bull. I got three RR today.

          • Knittomylou

I did it too, bought three, used the 50 cents coupons and Wag coupon and got NO RR back. I was sad, but I guess it's still a pretty decent deal. I couldn't find a thing in their ad that said there should have been a RR, so I didn't think I could complain to store management. I live in RAleigh. Is it a regional difference?

      • Ddlucky1

You are missing, the thing I had to do was buy 3 12pk cottonelle's, use the in store $1 coupon(which rings up $3 off)=12.00, received a $4 RR=$8 for 3=2.66 each. Walgreens would NOT let me use the .50/1 (3 of them for another 1.5 off) which would of then made it the $2.16 that Southern Savers said it would cost. The .50 off mfg coupon states right on it good for ONE PURCHASE ONLY, since I bought all 3 pkgs in one purchase I could not use all 3. Should of been able to use one, but I was so frustrated at that time I just let it slide.

        • Cdtching

I just went to WAGS and got 3 Cottonelle's. I used 3 of the .50/1 AND the store coupon which made it another 3.00 off. I don't see why they didn't let you use all of them!

        • How many did you purchase???
          3 right??
So 3 coupons!!! Don't let people who don't know the rules push you around. We have to educate ourselves and be smart :)

      • Espinoza2004

Mine either. No register rewards in North Charleston SC Dorchester rd and Ashley Phosphate. I left the Cottonelle on the shelf………….. :-(

        • SweetGirl

I bought 3 today in Georgia and got 4$ RR. Used 3 1$ off store coupons but machine did not take my 3 0.50$ from internet.

          • Leigh

The cashier had to push through my 50 cents coupons as well for the Cottonelle, but she could not get my $5 coupon for the Gillette razor to scan. She worked with me though and I got the proper amount off. I am a CVS shopper. Walgreens Q policy is terrible. I saved 85%, but only after 20 minutes at checkout.

      • stacey

Did you get the correct ones? They should have been the ones that are originally $5. I'm in NC and it worked for me.

    • Melanie

I had a good/bad day at Walgreens… I was stocking up on the Shick Hydro items since they were B1G1 and I had a bunch of coupons. The elderly lady who works in cosmetics walks up to me looks in my cart and says “Do you have coupons for all that?!' I said yes and she went off on me saying bc of people like me she cant keep items on the shelf and I shouldnt be buying so much. I bought 2 razors,2 shave gels and 2 refills…..that has never happened to me before and must say it hurt my feelings :(

      • Healeigh

That's sad, I don't think the Schick company feels the same way. I plan on doing the very samething tonight, let someone tell me something! You should have said “Hey because of me, you have a job!!” I hope you complained to the manager.

        • Melanie

Thanks everyone. I ended up telling the cashier that checked me out and she couldnt believe it. I had to keep my husband from going over to talk to the woman,he wasnt around when she said it but could tell by my face I was upset about something. In the end I got the items I was looking for (and my splenda from last week with a raincheck). I feel like just because she has to do her job and that she decides to not save money like me shouldnt make her a bitter person. Oh well if she talks to me like that again I will def talk to a manager!

      • Bradfrddeluxe

I'm sure that was very frustrating. We are all trying to help our family. It would be wise to tell a manager so noone else has to be treated that way.

      • Cdtching

        That soooo uncalled for!!

      • Bee

I think people in retail need to learn to leave their opinions at home. They are there to help customers and sell product. They are not there to push their personal agendas. I know we are all human, but that woman owes you a huge apology. Even if you had 30, if the store does not have a policy against it, she needs to do her job. But, when you say elderly, it comes to mind that the older some people get, the less tact they use. My husband and I call it “losing one's filter.”

      • stacey

She should be happy they can’t keep things on the shelf. That means she has a job to do. Doesn’t she know business is a good thing. Would it had mattered if you didn’t have coupons?

    • Wendy_2455

      Bought:

      26 rolls of Scotch tape
      1 gallon milk
      12pk Sprite
      2 cans blue diamond almonds
      3 pks Chips Ahoy cookies
      large bag of Smartfood popcorn

      Saved $49.98

      Spent OOP $1.03

    • Mlahodik

Help!!! Ok, I am new to this, so please help me figure this out. I just got back from es greens and bought a few things, did great except with the right guard 5 body wash, it's bogo at walgreens right now, but it would not let me use the bogo coupon I got. I did two transactions thinking the coupon would work, but neitherbtime it did. The manager said he didn't think you could use a bogo on an item that was already bogo. I did this at a different wags last week with different item and it worked. The manager, said he didn't know but that since register wasn't taking it off that it probably wasn't allowed.

Any insight? Anyone else have this happen? Am I doing something wrong? I am new, doing this for just two weeks.

      Thanks

      • Julgator

This happened to me today, too. :(

    • Amie

Does Walgreens allow you to use a coupon on a “free” item? For example, if I got tow of the Schick cartidges (BOGO), can I use two $2 off coupons? Or will they only take one? Thanks!

      • Healeigh

you should be able to use 2 coupons, because you ar purchasing 2 items even though one is “free”

    • Lynnd36

someone please tell me whrere i can get the p & g 120 booklet

      • SweetGirl

In Sunday paper! What is your zip?

    • Julgator

When I tried to use the BOGO manufacturer coupon for the Right Guard Body Wash that is also BOGO at Walgreens, the cashier told me that she is not able to do this deal because it would make it free (duh) Anyone else getting a hard time for this deal at the register?

    • rdpitts

The Johnson &Johnson travel first aid kits are $1.79 and ringing up B1G1 50% off. There was a coupon in the dispenser today for $1.50 off of 2 J&J red cross items, and then also got the make-your-own first aid kit bag for free! I paid $1.19 for all three items!

      • rdpitts

Went to another store today, and the travel first aid kits were $1.49 each. The same $1.50 off 2 coupon was in that store dispenser too. So I only paid 90 cents for the deal this time!

    • Esha

Hi – I have a question. I have 4 Noxzema coupons. Do I need to do 4 transaction to get RR's for all of them? Or can I buy them in one transaction and I will get 12 RR's?

      Thanks,
      Esha.

      • Couponing Rocks!

You have to do 4 separate transactions…and don't use the RR you get from one Noxzema transaction on the next Noxzema transaction or the RR won't print.

        • Esha

thanks… this is going to be my first time at walgreens…

          • Lisab

You can use them all n one transaction to pay, but if you have other coupons those will count as coupons too and you cant have more coupons that items. When you pay it has to also equal the amount before tax of one of your RRs…so if the total is $4.50 you can give them a $4 RR but if it’s at least $4 before tax…you cant give them a $4 RR if it is $3.98 before tax…it doesnt cover the tax…so make sure when you pay, if you use all 4 sets that you have at least 4 items that add up to at least $13 you have.

if you buy 6 things and use 3 other mfg coupons, your RRs count as 4 coupons so that makes 7 coupons. Too many, so you would need to buy another item, a “filler” to make it equal to 7 items or else pay in cash and not use one o the RRs….good luck

            • Esha

Thx Lisab. I went this afternoon and got 2 hydro gels & 2 hydro
              cartridges & got 4 filler items, so i cud use 4 Q’s & 4 RR’s…
but the manager said I cud not use Q’s for the free items..bcos they
              were B1G1. I have done this @ riteaid/CVS with no issues… I am done
shopping @ walgreens.. these rules for RR’s & calculating for
filler items are not working out for me :(

              Thanks you for your help.

        • Esha

OK so I went to Walgreens, did 3 transactions (not according to what I had planned :() and now I have 4 sets of RR's totalling $13? Next time I go in, can I use them all in one transaction?? Or has to be 4 separate?? I dunno how I will do that, if separate ? :(

    • Barbara H.

      What is the Pepsico Insert?

      • Lisab

it came in the sunday paper on 5/1..separate from the redplum, smart source and PG inserts.

    • caroline

What sections is the right guard coupon in???? i have 1 red plum, 2 smart source and 1 P& G from today's paper and I CAN'T FIND IT! Have I gone blind? helllllppp!

      • Raynesmw

Mine in NC was in the Red Plum.

      • Bashamtalitha

i have heard that ky is going to be in next weeks paper one can only hope thanks

      • Mlahodik

I had the same issue with the noxzema, apparently my area did not get the noxzema. Your area probably did not get the right guard. It has a whole page dedicated to it, so it would be hard to miss. Nth

      • Kaylawilds

I didn't get it either- must be our area. I'm near Vidalia, GA couponing out of Savannah Morning News.

    • gensmom

so if something is on sale for B1G1 free, and i have a B1G1 free coupon, then both items will be free?

      • Lynnd

Yep! As long as you go to a store that actually knows their coupone policy :(

    • deena oliver

went to walgreens and they tryed to charge mr 4.49 for one right gaurd body soap and .50 for the other one they said thats the way the regester rings them up then my b1g1 free coupon only takes of .50

      • Lynnd

What?????? Totally not the case. You should’ve paid sales tax….u need to ask for management when this happens!

    • Kmaprek

Went to Walgreens this morning to get the right guard and the cashier told me could honor the coupon or the sale price but not both. I left it all sitting there and walked away. M sister had just been there not an hour earlier and had gotten FREE right guard. I asked if the coupon policy had changed in the last hour and she said that the computer wouldnt let her do both.whatever! I'm not usually like that but it was very frustrating!

      • Hinckley1978

I had that happen once too! Very frustrating. I ended up going to another Wags later in the week and got them for free.

    • adrienne

anyone know what going on with the renuzit coupon ?

    • Audra

Went to Walgreens this morning and tried to ge the Precise pain patch…grrr…. they told me I couldn't do it because it would make it free!!! Well DUH!!! I told them I didn't want to get it then and the manager and clerk got angry!!! I will just try again at a different Walgreens!!

      • Cdtching

I didn't have a problem with the Precise Patch. I got 2 for FREE :) Sorry you had such a hard time. I know it can get frustrating at times :(

      • SweetGirl

Next week Rite Aid will be have it on sale for 5$, so try there too!!!

      • Dian1979

I got 6 for free on sunday

      • Lynnd

When this kinda of annoyance happens we need to call the District Office’s for that store. Each store can not make up it’s own rules. Therefore……..you should’ve gotten it free. Wag is really prompt at reporting customer complaints back to the stores and getting a resolution. Ignorance is so not bliss for these employees!!!

    • Gracie680

Why no Maybelline matchups?? It's 40% off this week, and surely there are some coupons out there for it?? Also – my Wags circular does not advertise Right Guard as BOGO – it's 2.99 each in my paper??

    • Susan

Walgreens on E. Brainerd Rd in Chattanooga, Tn is collecting; water, food, laundry soap, hygine items, diapers, paper products. To take to Apison, Tn. So fellow couponers lets bring more into Walgreens this week than we take home.

      • Susan

I guess I should have clarified, Apison, Tn was devasted by the storms we had last week.

    • Jess

Did anyone get the Right Guard BOGO to work?

    • Raynesmw

I emailed about the Right Guard Body Wash BOGO w/ a BOGO coupon. I looked all through the policy and although some have said it is in the policy, I don't exactly see where that is stated-like CVS is very clear to me. Here is the response I got, and all I honestly have to say huh???

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you,
      M. Should an item be listed in the weekly ad and it is
an in store only, then yes you will need to present the buy one
get one coupon from the weekly ad. If a whole product line is
buy one get one (ie Finest Natural Vitamins) then no a coupon
is not needed, and only one promotion code or coupon will apply.
Should you be ordering by the internet for a buy one get one
free, please remember to put 2 as the quantity for each item
that you are ordering. I would also check with your local
Walgreens for using manufacturers coupons on Walgreens in store
      sales.

I am taking my coupons to CVS. Seems like a lot less hassle to me.

    • Mlahodik

Ok, so I went back to walgreens to return the right guard body wash, the new cashier, after asking why, told me it should have worked with the b1g1, I told her I only wanted it if I could use the coupon which would make it only tax, she said that was fine, ran four body wash and used the two coupons, my total, was $1.70 something for all four body washes, she then gave me the change for what they had charged wrong. Apparently, the register didn't like it when I had a whole bunch of other coupons. So next time, I'm going to only buy those two things and use the coupon on it, it should work fine.

      Hope this helps others.

    • Jess

Does Walgreens only print out one RR per transaction? Sorry, I'm brand new to this :)

      • dealio

The circular in the store will show the limits to the RR. It is usually one per item/deal. For example the RR for bacon is limit one RR on that item, but you can buy other deals and get those RR also and even use coupons to make them free.

      • Lynnd

Most important thing to remember….you can buy 23 DIFFERENT RR deals in one trans and get 23 RR’s back, but if you buy 2 of the same in the same trans, you will only get one. So if you want for example, 2 Noxema razors, do two transactions. Go to like Cos…it’s easier for us crazy couponers to not hold up the line :) with our multi trans…

      • Lisab

One for each item..Ive had more than one RR print out but only for different things. Once I bought 2 things hoping to get the RRS twice, but I only got one. I had to go back and do it again. But in the same transaction Ive gotten up to 3 different RRS to print on different items.

    • I got 2 boxes of Nexcare bandages that had “Try Me Free” Peelies on them… So (after I submit the rebate) I will have gotten the bandages and the First Aid Bag for Free :)

    • Coupongal18

I had a pretty good trip to WAGS today – I had to make two trips because I stoppped on the way to church because my store, everything is gone by 10am if you don't get there early, which is frustrating but I have my system and it works so anyway – I got to the register and the lady showed me the razor deal, which I scanned over but didn't realize it came with good RR..so, I had to go back to get the deal but anyway – here is what I got:

      First trip:
      (3) Cottonelle TP packs
      (2) Lady Speed Sticks
      (2) Right Guard Deo.
      (2) GUM flossers
      (1) Hershey's Bar – filler item

      Total Before anything: $27.74
      OOP: $13.49
      Got back: $8 RR

      Second trip:
      (1)Gilette ProGlide Razor
      Total Before: $10.64
      OOP: $6.43
      Got back:$5 RR

      So, TOTAL OOP: $20
TOTAL RR: $13 for next week :)

    • Laura

I'm familiar with the coupon policy = If I hand over 10 coupons, I need to have 10 items.

I'm also familiar with the “1 RR per transaction” policy on a specific item. (Like I can't buy 2 sets of razors and get 2 RR back in the same transaction!)

But this week there are A LOT of different items I want to buy, all with RR back. For example:

      Pantene Pro-V
      Noxema Razors
      Gillette Razors
      Head and Shoulders
      Herbal Essence Shampoo
      Bic Razors

Am I able to get 1 of each of those items in 1 transaction and STILL get all my RR back? Or do I seriously have to do each thing seperately? I still suck at this, get all flustered int he store, and end up not saving much money.

      • You could do them all in the same transaction as long as they are all different offers. But you may want to break it up and roll some of your RR's. But then you'll probably need fillers.

      • dealio

sounds like you are good on this transaction but in the future keep in mind that there really is no limit because there is no “walgreens” card to track you. This didn't dawn on me until i went to purchase a free item that was limit 1 and i thought it was limit 2. Upon checking out the cashier said you cant get RR back on both. Then she said dont tell anybody but we will just ring them up separate. Then there was the large lightbulb at the top of my head!!$$$$

      • Lynnd

I agree with Suemh. If you do like half and half, then you can use the ones you get from ur first trans on ur second. Remember, you can't use a Gillete RR on another Gillette, but you can totally buy the Noxema razors in one trans…then use that RR to buy a Gillette and just keep 'rolling' ur RR's. Unlike CVS tho, you have to roll to a different item each time.

    • Ethurman1128

Just a heads up this afternoon I stopped at walgreens to pick up the bic soleil razors that are 5.99 with a 2.00 rr and a 3.00 mfq. When I got to the razors the orange bic soleil 4 pack sensitive skin were priced 3.99 so I paid .99 plus tax and still got my 2.00 rr!!!! :)

      • Benjamietaylor

Just a warning! My sister and I cut ourselves seriously with these razors, so be careful!

        • Twirlly

Yes I noticed also they seemed to cut easily. I'll be extra careful with these.

    • If you are an AARP member and show your card before the cashier starts ringing up your purchase, you will get a $5 OYNO coupon if you spend $20 (before coupons) in a single transaction. This offer is good through May 28.

      • Jlynnd

You should ALWAYS have them swipe ur AARP card. They will put in random deals here and there…have coupons print out that no one else gets. Have them swipe it everytime, even if you don't see anything advertised. Might be a nice suprise! ;)

    • Amy

Redplum has a printable version of the $2.00 off Noxzema razors. I printed two about an hour ago.

      • dealio

didn't work for me. Sometimes i just dont get these sites. Even the grocery coupons that were on redplumb earlier are not there now. Anyway been there three times today and no luck on the razors, but thanks anyway!

      • Mrs_blocker2006

what zip code do you have entered as your location? I hardly get any for my area.

        • Amy

I went directly to the redplum website, did not use any links to get there. I did not enter a zip code on redplum but my computer is set to 90210 zip (although that is not where I live, just seems to be a good zip for coupons) Hope this helps.

    • Jess

I got the razor deal, but they were sold out of the Right Guard shower gel. Asked the cashier about the BOGO sale and also using the BOGO coupon and she said all you have to pay is the tax, she confirmed with 2 other cashiers and the manager…so I'm going back Tuesday morning when their truck comes in with more!

    • Kiersten

does any one know if walgreens will take any of those coupons listed under the 39 cent tape? i printed then out and realized the 39 cents is for transparent tape not the magic tape the coupon is printed for. do you think they will take the magic tape coupon? even though it is for transparent tape?

      • laura

I don't think so (at least I didn't try) however the magice tape is only $1.49 and with the $1.00 off coupon only makes it .49 which isn't bad so I picked up two for less than $1 because I printed out two of them not knowing it wasn't for the transparent tape. HTH!!

    • JTTLC

I have seen a couple of items from time to time (when reading over the lists) that there would be a coupon 'in store dispenser'. It said it for the right guard deo, but when I was in the store I did not see anything. I have seen this for CVS as well (says coupon center). Where do I locate these coupons within the store?

      • Amy

“In store dispenser” just means that someone somewhere found one, doesn't necessarily mean you will find one, sometimes the coupon was found at another store even. Now with CVS, the coupon center is a red machine where you scan your rewards card and coupons will print. Not everyone gets the same coupons though, so again, no guarantee.

        • JTTLC

Thanks a bunch….I am still learning so I could not figure out where in the world to find it! I guess I need to keep my eyes open everywhere I shop!

          • Amy

Yes, it's a great 'job' for young children if you have to take them shopping with you. Oh, and in case anyone is wondering – if your CVS card accidentily gets dropped inside the red machine, the manager can unlock it and retrieve your card … :)

            • Raynesmw

              ha ha…Been there, done that!

    • dealio

My favorite moment today- “look Honey I got this fixodent denture cleaner for FREE”! “but we don't have dentures” he said. “well you should see them clean a toilet bowl” I told him! He looked a little perplexed but it is true. Is the $3.00 off coupon from this sunday circular and you get 78 effervecent scope cleaning toilet bowl actions for free!

      • Hydro

I got some for reason you wrote!! I am going to try that but do you put them in back of toilet or in bowl? Guess silly question

    • Kaylawilds

If anyone has any of the Right Guard B1G1 coupons they are not going to use, please let me know. I would love them- didn't get any :( I have lots of coups to trade. Thanks!

    • Carrie

You always have to give the manufactuer coupon first before the store coupon or the register will beep and the cashier most likely will not let you use the manuf coupons. I learned this the hard way. You should have asked for the manager

    • Dskiles3tmom

Making my first trip to Walgreens today. My head is swimming with information overload. My first shopping list contains:
4 Cottonelle pks, 2 Gum Flossers, 2 Right Guard BW, and 2 Bic Soleil.
Remind me again why I might need to use fillers?? Do I need to split my purchases?
      Thanks! =)

(later hoping to score on some Tylenol Precise)

      • Cyndi

You can't have more coupons than items (this includes manufacturers coupons as well as register rewards, but store coupons do not count towards this). You will need to do a separate transaction for 2 of the cottonelle packs (assuming there is a limit of 1 of these per transaction). So whether or not you will need a filler item will just depend on your total number of items and manufacturer coupons (including register rewards which count as manufacturer coupons). Good luck – walgreens can be very confusing!!!

        • Lisab

How come whenever I use store coupons that counts in my total? Ive never had those not count/

          • Lynnd

What do you mean 'counts in ur total'?? It shouldn't count against ur Man Q to item ratio…BEST way to do it tho is….and this is if you are coming really close to just paying tax. Hand the cashier ur RR's first, then any other Man Q's, then finally ur store coupons. Remember, RR's are not store coupons, they are Man Q's. A store coupon has a UPC of 0 00000 0(some random four digit code here) 0. If it was a Man Q, the first 5-6 #'s would not be 0.

      • Dskiles3tmom

Thanks Cyndi! That helps. I actually chickened out on my trip today because I didn't feel knowledgable enough. With your info and coupons in hand I will make my plan for tomorrow. I totally get the grocery stores but Walgreens and CVS are keeping me up at night! =)

        • Mgravitt87

I work at Walgreens so I love shopping there with my coupons and have become known to co-workers as the crazy coupon lady. First of all, if you are going to use coupons and separate transactions, go to cosmetics. Not only does it keep people from having to wait up front but also you can spend more time making sure you get your deals. Personally, to make sure I get my register rewards, I do separate transactions per RR. Because I know I have had customers buy a lot of things and they wait on their RR and it doesn’t print out and then they forget which item needed the RR. I am open to any emails regarding Walgreens. I’m not an expert on the coupon policy, by any means because I work in the pharmacy; I just know what works for me. My email is at yahoo.com

    • TL

Yesterday, my cashier told me that Walgreens was changing its policy to only allow 2 transactions per customer per visit.

      • Katietascnr

        Well I don't like that :(

      • Lynnd

So absolutely false. I promise…managers ARE allowed to limit how many items are purchased per customer per day. If you bought 34 things at regular price, no coupons, you could pay for each thing seperately :) Every Wag has a District Office! Phone numbers very available

      • Boxer Mom

They very well could be changing the store’s policies considering how many people clear out our stores’ shelves on the first day of the ad. I think to keep it fair for all customer each store should limit transactions per customer each day. Some stores carry more then others so they can set higher limits. I’d rather have a couple of couponers made at me because I wont let them clear my shelves then have every customer for the rest of the week pissed because our shelves are already bare. New ads come out Sunday our truck comes in on Thursdays and after Memorial Day it won’t come until Saturday. So were lucky if warehouse still has enough of the big sale items in stock to send us. We don’t mind couponers coming in Saturday night to get what’s left, and we tell our customers that. And the shelf clearers no better then any of us that if you get a raincheck on the item you have to mail in a form to catalina to get your register rewards. We can’t make it print the next week if it was last week’s register reward deal. Also Walgreens can’t reprogram their catalina machines (and if this really is true I would like to see proof), i know its been said that we have. We have no control over what prints or doesn’t print from the machines. We can do our best to figure out what you didnt get the rewards you are supposed to get, but please be patient in the process. Many managers are still new to this whole couponing phenomenon and are still learning. I really love all of my couponers that come into my store and so do the rest of my staff. We go out of our way for them and we don’t have the nightmareish experiences that alot of you guys/gals do.

    • Ltrotter8518

The Noxzema razors I bought had a $2 coupon in them for more razors. It is iside the package underneath th erazors. :)

    • Dadams420

I am confused. Went to walgren for the right guard body wash b1g1 deal. zThey only had 3 so I got 2. I handed her my q's which I thought she would need 2. She handed me one back and charged me .31 cents for boyh bottles. I am not comlpaing I just thought you had to use 2 q's to get both free. If not I am going to get rain ch and get more with my other 5 q's.
      Thanks Cindy

      • Earnrj8fan

You only need to use 1 B1G1 Coupon!!

      • Shon

U only need 1 BOGO coupon to get them free and the .31 cents was probably for taxes

      • Smileschick06

u are suppose to have on mf coupon per bottle so if u got two bottles then u should have had two mf b1g1 coupons tht she should have kept

        • Smileschick06

then u would get two free to make 4 but if u only got two then u only needed one b1g1 coupon

        • On a B1G1 sale you Only need ONE B1G1 coupon for them both to be free… The $.31 is your tax…

          • me8107

Well I went today and I had to use 2 coupons to get 2 deodorants. And they were restricting customers to only 2 free deodorants each. I called walgreens corporate who explained that I could get the deodorants totally free with the store sale and the coupon which were both bogo, and jsut pay sales tax. I also called the store beforehand and confirmed that they followed corporate policy. But when I got to the register, I was being charged for one deodorant after the coupon was scanned. Cashier said I needed 2 to get them both free. I hope Wagreens corporate reads the comments on this site because they need to do some training and streamline their procedures. BLURG!

    • dealfinder

also there is a coupon in this weeks paper hersheys candy bars BOGO Walgreens has the weekly special .49 cents a candy bar- using this coupon makes the candy bars .25cents each!!!! just wanted to post this deal!

    • Katietascrn

There is a $3 off Fixodent Cleanser in this week's P&G, making it FREE :-)

      • Katietascrn

This stuff is also good for retainers, not just dentures :)

      • Mgravitt87

actually there is a $3 and $1.25. depending on the cashier, they will let you use both.

    • smartgirlsaving

http://smartgirlsaving.com/?p=165 Visit page to see how I did this week. Thanks Jenny for all of your great tips!!!

    • MustangLadyred

$2 off Noxzema Shavers, RP 5/1 (possibly coming)

not available in the News & Advance in Lynchburg, VA

    • Msfmarktng

I was questioned by the Walgreen's Manager about the B1G1 for the Right Guard Body Wash that was on B1G1. She approved it but she said she didn't think you were allowed to do that. I said you are – I'm sure. Is there a good way to explain it to her next time. Thanks in advance for any help.

      • Msfmarktng

        That's B1G1 Q matched with a B1G1 sale.

      • Cdtching

Good question! I plan on using my Right Guard coupons as well but I'm afraid they won't let me do it! I need to know how to explain it to them, if they give me a hard time about it. Anyway I'm glad that you were able to get yours :)

        • Smileschick06

i am a walgreens employee and we do accept the b1g1 coupons but we have a limit on them of four a day because we are having so many ppl coming in to get them we just want it to be fare for everyone to get a chance on having them before our store sale goes off you know hope tht helps any

          • Luvqpns

When I went yesterday to Walgreen's they wouldn't let me use the B1G1 Q paired with the B1G1 sale on the Right Guard, because she said I wasn't paying for 1 to get 1 free.

            • Jen B.

That happened to me too!! How can we get our stores to accept the coupons??

          • How about call the rest of the stores and telling them this, lol… I have 3 Wags around me and get a different response every time I go…

          • Cdtching

Ok. Thank you for your help :)

        • Momofthree

I tried this when I was new at couponing. And I had a the cashier and mgr rudely tell me I couldn’t things for free. I did end up getting them for free at a different Wags. But I’ve since learned that you need to make sure you’re getting the exact sizes that are in the ad and on the coupon. (I think in my first trans I was buying a BW that had 33% free so it wasn’t ringing up right) It also depends on which Wags you shop at. Some are super friendly and some are just bitter and rude.

          • Cdtching

Thanks for the Reply!! I went to WAGS this morning and I was able to get the body wash :) I got 4 of them for 54 cents!!!!!!

      • Jess

I had 3 cashiers and the manager all tell me it was possible, would only have to pay for tax. But of course they were all sold out and now I have to wait till Friday to get them.

        • Tinawhedbee

Make sure to get a rain check…just in case.

      • tygirl13

It helps if you can explain that store sales and manufacturer coupons are totally separate. For a store sale, the store is making a decision to reduce a price on a certain item in hopes that more of it will sell and that you will pick up a few impulse item while you are there. The store is taking the hit on the sale item. For a manufacturer coupon, the manufacturer is going to reimburse the store for you purchasing that item. Walgreens is still getting its money, just not from you. If you are purchasing items on a BOGO (#1 and #2), for the coupon you are purchasing item #1 and the manufacturer is purchasing #2. For the store sale, #2 is being purchased and they are giving you #1 for free.

It seems as though some cashiers and managers see couponing as legalized shoplifting, but they need to understand that Walgreens is still getting its 2.99 for the Right Guard. They are just getting it from the manufacturer (+ .08 for handling) instead of you. HTH.

    • Melrogotzke

Has anybody seen the $5 Crest Whitestrips coupon in the May book? I have flipped through it several times and can't find it. If you could let me know what page it's on (or if your book is missing it as well) it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

      • Lynnd

I think that was in April's book?? Pretty sure…

    • Lrae17

I'm confused about the SPLENDA deal. Since this was part of the April month long deal, is it off now? I can't find it in the current flyer. The ad started on 5/1, though, so not sure if it's continuing through May. Anyone know?

      • Keisha9739

Yea Im calling around to Walgreens trying to find the $2.99 one. They are out and keep telling me its $5.49???????? I just bought 22 coupons that expire today…..

      • Amy

I think the RR deal was month long, but not the sale making the price $2.99.

        • Lrae17

          Hmmm…ok. Dang. Sigh. Oh well.

      • Lynnd

Yea that sale went off Sat night :( Most stores activate the next weeks ad(minus RR deals) late Saturdays tho, so in the future….keep in mind that you could've gotten the sale from this week with the RR from last. If that's what you would choose to do on a Sat! :) In MOST stores…

      • Gatorginger

I bought two yesterday and I got register rewards back so it's still on here in Florida

    • laura

Thank you for reminding me about the BIC razors…picked up 3 for $3 and 6 in RR's. Totalling 13 razors and one coupon for $3. One pack (citrus one) had 6 razors and the other razor (i think twilight) had a coupon for EOS shave cream! Thank you!

    • Tiffanysibley

I am new to couponing and I would like to know how I get my walgreens coupon booklet? Also, any other helpful hints will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

      • Amy

Just pick one up, they are usually near the sales ad.

        • Tiffanysibley

          Thank you

      • Gatorginger

There in the front of the store but you can also print them from their web site

    • Tiffanysibley

Also, to you have to have a walgreens card like winn dixie to get the register rewards?

      • Amy

        Nope. :)

        • Tiffanysibley

          Thank you.

        • Kristen

          Love that:)

    • Soniac803

The Allegra is $15.99 only in the pharmacy. The cashier tried the 5ct for 10.99 the register would not accept it.
But at Walmart there 5ct is $5.94 use the 5.00 coupon; and the allegra is 94 cent.

      • Lzbacnik

I don't think that will work. The coupon says minimum 10 ct.

    • Jlm

Just starting out and wanted to clarify something first. I am planning on receiving 12.00 in register rewards. Can I use them in one transaction next visit or do they have to be split up.
      Thanks!

      • Mgravitt87

you can use then all at once or split them up.

      • Lynnd

Just don't use them again to buy the same register reward items or you won't get more. You can go back and forth tho. Like use the gillette one against a renpure hair care purchase. It's not like CVS is that you can roll them and apply to the same product. Just lots of different transactions! Or save them til next weeks ad :) good luck!

    • Jujurn30

I purchased two packs of cotonelle toilet paper and I was told that you do not get register rewards back on them….I can not find it in their sale ad were it states you get the rewards back, can anyone help me with this, maybe I missed something. thanks

      • Jlm

My circular did not advertise register rewards either for the cotonelle.

      • Kristin

There is nothing in the online ad about RR for Cottonelle either. Glad you brought that up. I wouldn't have noticed it and been surprised at check out.

      • WJones87

No register rewards for the cottonelle in Augusta, GA either – wonder where that came from?

      • Shellypsu1

Actually, the coupons that should print out are Catalina's… park of the couponnetwork (dot) com promotion… check it out. Here are the details. (Sorry for the Long post)

I am confused. When I check the Catalina site, it says available at Kroger. No other stores are listed.

          • Shellypsu1

Thats wierd Kristin. As you can see by my post above, when I clicked for details, it showed all of those stores… including Wags. Hmmm.. I wonder why it would not show you those and just Kroger? Did you sign up on CouponNetwork?

      • Gatorginger

I read you had to buy three and I did and I got back $4 register rewards

    • Kristen

My wallgreens had all AVENO products; $10.00 wyb $25.00 AVENO products.

    • Shannon

It's actually a slightly better deal to only buy 2 packs of the cottonelle tp.

      • Momof2

Did you get the RR by only buying 2?

        • Margoren

          I bought 2 and got $3RR.

    • Ricky_powell

I tried to use the cottonelle .50 coupon with the $1.00 off cottonelle tissue and the registger would not take both. They said the May booklet coupons state they are manu. coupons so it will not take both. I did get the RR rewards though. So that means the same thing on the Tylenol Precise.

      • Gatorginger

what you have to do is give them you manufacture coupon first and then give them your walgreens book coupon for some reason it works and the computer won't beep. I did this deal yesterday bought three paid $10.50 and got back $4 register rewards. So always give them the walgreens coupons last

      • Kathymomto3

Did the same thing as gatorginger. Use your mfg coupons 1st then give them the WAGS coupons then RR (earned from different item.). Works fine that way.

      • Momof2

How many cottonelle's did you purchase to get the RR?

      • Oshealk2

I did that last week. My husband needed zyrtec and I had the coupon from the Wags book and one from my sunday paper, 1 zyrtec and a candy bar too (for the soldiers) It would only take one of my coupons too because it does clearly state on most of the Wags book coupons taht they are manu. It stinks but you arent alone…i didnt read them either until the register beeped.

      • Angela

Hi Ricky,I just bought the Precise Cream tonight..I used a 5.00 MCoupon first and then she scaned the 3.00 off WGBCoupon.I also bought 1 filler Item(.49 sale candybar). You can use the 2 seperate coupons but u have 2 have 2 Items. That's were the filler item comes in..Hope that helps..

    • Tasha

I just left Walgreens and ended up not purchasing anything. I previously bought the tampons and got $2 register rewards and the BIC razors and got $2 register rewards. I went in there today to purchase the fusion razor that is on sale. I handed the cashier the $4 in register rewards and a $4 manufacturer coupon on the razor. She informed me that I can't use 3 manufactures coupons on one item. I'm confused as to how the register rewards work, will someone please explain it to me??

      • Shellypsu1

Hi Tasha! Yes, Wags tends to be a bit of work… Wags only accepts 1 Man Q per item.. and the RR is considered a Man Q. So, you would have needed to buy a small “filler” item to make sure the coupon to item ration was 1:1. Basically, I find this eats in to your coupon, making you spend more out of pocket. I usually only go to Wags if there is something I really need. Good Luck!

Give a man a fish he will eat for a day…..teach a man to fish he will eat for the rest of his life.

Read the “getting started at walgreen's” link at the top right of the page. (in blue type) Very helpful and invaluable info is in the link.

      • Gatorginger

You can't have more coupons than items and you had two rr reward coupons and one manufacture coupon but you was only getting the razor so you had two too many coupons. What you have to do is buy filler items and they can be anything from a penceil for ten cents etc. Just make sure you don't have more coupons than items

      • Tasha

Thanks y'all! I think I understand it now. I will go back tomorrow and try it out.

    • Melody

Learned alot today at Wags, first that RR are considered manufacturer Qs, not WAGS money like CVS ECB!

But this was my scenario that worked:
Fixodent cleanser $3.99 on sale -$3.00 coupon (from MS paper I got this weekend in Meridian while passing thru the state), so that makes .99 plus tax (.32) and then $1 RR for a grand total of .31 per box!!! Yes, I did have to check out in four different transactions to get all 4 boxes for all the Qs I had. then I checked out again to use those RR from P & G on misc little items! All in all it waas a good visit, but that RR are not WAGS bucks just stinks!

    • Hydro

Magic eraser on sale at my Walgreens for 1.94 I used 1 off coupon. :)

    • Ashleyjackson9781

ok going to attempt my first confusing walgreens purchases. I don't know if I understand so I was hoping I could post my plan and one of u coupon pros could let me know if it will work…..please…
I have 2 RR from previous purchases

      Buy noxema 4pk 3.99
      + .50 cent filler

      use 2 RR
      2/1 noxema coupon====.99 OOP + 3 rrs

      #2 buy 6 right guard on sale BIGI@ 5.99
filler ( i need an All You) 1.75
      buy noxema 4pk 3.99

use 3 Manu. coupons B1G1 on right gaurd ( up to 5.49 and they r 5.99)
      use another 2/1 noxema coupon

price for all right gaurd is 1.50 (overage of .25 on coupon price limit)
      + 1.75+1.99= 4.24 – 3 rrs from trans 1
is OOP of 1.24? I tried I really did,, but i bet i messed up…….

      • Ashleyjackson9781

oops first transaction will be 50 cents more

      • Jenncalhoun

i dont think you can use the $3rr you got on the noxema to buy another noxema – it will beep and not take it.

      • Firstbrownie

You can't buy the All You at Wag's. It is only available at Wal-Mart. Also, you can use the Noxema RR on another Noxema, but you won't get an additional 3RR back for the second one purchased. hth!

    • Fowlerb1988

You know it's ridiculous when you go to the store to get something free just like everyone else and there are people that go in there buying the whole shelf and don't leave ANY for anyone else. Just saying if you are one of these people you are not the only one that needs body wash, toilet paper or cerea, etc. Times are hard and if anyone knows what im talking about if you have 50 of these items at home already, leave them for someone who really needs it.

      • Dani

Amen sister! Like whoever the shelfclearers were that had dozens of bottles of Nivea bodywash, John Freida shampoo and conditioner, Loreal haircolor, biore face wash and pore cleansers, etc. and were SELLING those items at a yard sale this weekend in Wake Forest – LEAVE SOME FOR THOSE WHO ACTUALLY NEED THEM! Good grief people!

        • Fowlerb1988

That's sad and if that were me I would feel horrible for doing that to people. At a yardsale? Come on how low can you go? I mean I LOVE couponing but I would never take it this far it's just gotten way out of hand!

          • JTTLC

This is so true. The other week I had a bunch of coupons for an item and only took a couple of of the shelf. I really needed more for my family, but I thought I would come back another time and pick some more up…..FORGET THAT. Wow…everyone or someone had cleaned them out and the store did not even have more in the back. I really do not stock up on anything that my family does not use on a REGULAR basis and stuff that is usually on my weekly grocery list. I went to a big community yard sale this past Saturday and someone was selling items that I could get at the store for cheaper with my coupons. I am really?!? I could have used that deal for my family…..not to try and resale at a yard sale.

            • Boxer Mom

And its people like them that will stop walgreens taking coupons and allowing multiple orders. If they are selling product without a wholeseller or reseller license (whatever its called) its not only wrong its illegal. Be fair to everyone stop clearing the shelves, the stores can only order so much or only get so much shipped from warehouse. You might want to think about your fellow couponers! We all love saving money

            • Fowlerb1988

I am so glad that you guys feel my pain!!! It's so aggrivating. I'm just trying to provide for my family like everyone else. Be considerate people!

        • BlessedNana

I see the same thing happening at our local flea market! Sad and Greedy…..

    • Angela

Well I just went to Walgreens with all my coupons and store ad deals worked out and they were already out of everything on my list(about 12 items) except for the nozema razors(Pd 1.99 plus got $3.00 RR back) and tylenol Precise Pain Cream(I got for free).I now remember why I haven't shopped at Walgreens for years).I'll give it one more try. They claim they should get a shipment in Wed…Hope everyone else is having better luck with the sales…

    • I'm close to giving up on Walgreens. This week I have been to three stores and haven't been able to find two of anything on my list in one store. I know couponing has been around for eons, but this recent “boom” has gotten out of control in my area, IMO.

On a brighter note, I got the noxzema razors for .67 cents a pack at walmart.

      • Bassettrdge

I think because of the new TV show Extreme Couponing everyone has caught on!

        • JTTLC

Well it does take some time to prepare, collect, and plan out different trips to different stores to maximize savings….I think after awhile people will go back to their old ways….hopefully it is just a fad because I cannot find anything I go into the store looking for whether it is on the first day of this sale or the last

      • laura

I used to have that same problem. During the week there'd be nothing I wanted so since I've been getting up at 0700 I am running all those errands Sunday morning when the stores open. Since then I've never had any problems getting the items I want.

    • Tburch329

I was a little disappointed at Walgreens today. I don't know when they started but I had a $2 RR from bic yesterday. Went in to buy the dri idea deodorant so I used my $2 RR and my coupon for B1G1 and I didn't get my $2 RR. I questioned the cashier about this and she called the manager and she said b/c I used a RR it would give me my RR for the deodorant. I asked when did they change this and said they just did. Let me rephrase this. It wouldn't give me my RR from the deodorant

      • Nathanandjessecollins

I did the clear eyes deal on Sunday and did not get rr for it. When I asked they told me that it might be because of the rr I used to purchase it (I used the 2 rr from the gum eez). I tried it again at a different store and again did not get rr, they gave no explanation other then that they do not control what the machine prints out (this time I just used a manu q for the eye drops). So, I'm not sure what is going on in that case, but I have used other rr this week to purchase items and have in return received rr. Walgreens is very frustrating at times, but I go back when I can find really good deals on things we use.

    • Bassettridge

Not sure if anyone has posted this, but went to my local Wal-greens tonight and tried to get the bogo right guard body wash and they had a sign up that said misprint in paper that it was 2/$4.49 not bogo.So be aware!

    • Bassettridge

I went to my local store and some of my items were already gone but I got $75.00 worth of stuff for $38.00. i thought that good for my first coupon trip. I also got rain checks for the green tea they were out of.

    • I wonder if I went to walmart and tried to comp the bic razors what price I could get. Would they accept walgreen's 5.99 “our price” or the “like paying” 3.99 price. If it's the latter, then I could get the razors for .99. Hmmm…

      • Kward17

These are BOGO right now at Publix. With two $3.00 coupons they're free plus profit. I've gotten six packs already and am I planning on getting one more tomorrow.

        • I'm 120 miles from the closest Publix or else I'd be there. :( *sniffle*

      • Angela

Andrea,If you have a Food Lion in your town the razors are listed as $3.99 for this week in one of the coupon booklets from 5/1 Sunday paper.IF you have that walmart will match the $3.99 price..

    • Eli

My Walgreens has the New kraft Homestyle Macaroni and Cheese on sale 3/$5.00 – I bought 3 and used 3 – $1/1 coupons from the 04/17/11 inserts and got them 3/$2.00 – great price!!!

    • The5heads

okay.. when we talk about free? do we still pay sales tax? I had several items and had to buy a .10 sour head as a filler item…my total was .10 plus .75 tax…not complaining at all just wondering how the free thing works…or free plus all tax

      • Hinckley1978

Yeah it's free plus tax. You're paying tax on the coupons…plus any overage, like your .10.

    • H0810

Where is the coupon for the Scotch Tape coupon? Our Walgreen's ad doesn't have one and I asked the cashier in the store and she said that the tape wasn't even on sale?!?

      • Angea

THe tape was a little Wa;greens coupon on the front of weekly ad book.I live in TN so,It may not have been on sale in other areas..

      • Couponmuggs

Its on page 6 of the flyer. It is for 39 cents and you can get either scotch tape or padded mailers.

    • Raelynnsmom

If the store has something advertised at B1Get 1 @ 50% off, how does a coupon for B1G1 Free come into play? I just want to make sure I get the item for the correct price…Thanks!

    • twokids

Thank you for taking the time to help people with your website. I would have spent 77.64, but thanks to your dedication I only spent 22.36. This was my first time doing it this way. I had 5 different transctions. I did find out that our Walgreens does not take coupons on the free item and you are allowed only the amount of coupons the the amount of stuff that you bought including RR coupons.

    • Squirrellyec

My Wags has if you buy 2 participating Johnson and Johnson products you get a free first aid kit with an additional $15 in coupons. Almost all the J&J first aid products are BOG1/2 and some even had $1 off coupons that I used as well.

    • momto3boys

      Great day at Walgreens! 3 scotch tapes, 1 lysol, 3 cottonelles, 1 box of puffs, 4 bowl freshes, 1 8 pk mini coke clasic……total 14.56……minus 5.00 WAGS…….so basically 9.56 ………

    • Evil Betty

I think it would make more sense to buy 4 packs of the cottonelle TP in 2 different transactions (2 in 1 transaction, and the other 2 in the 2nd transaction). Then you would get 6 RR (3 rr, 3 RR) instead of a 4 RR

      • momto3boys

That would make sense had the extreme couponers NOT already cleaned the shelves at my Walgreens. There was only 3 left so that is the hand I had to play!!!

    • Evil Betty

I went to 4 different walgreens and did the following transactions:

      Trans 1:
      Noxema razors $3.99 used $2/1
      Easter cup (filler) $0.09
      used 2 RR
$0.09 OOP, recieved 3 RR for a savings of $5.30

      Trans 2:
      fixodent $3.99 used $3/1
      gum flossers $2
      Easter cup (filler) $0.09
      used 3 RR
$0.08 OOP, recieved 1 RR and 2 RR for a savings of $8.79

      I did trans 1 & 2 three times each.

      Trans 3:
      Gillette Fusion $9.89 used $4/1
2 Easter cup (fillers) $0.09 each
used 3 RR and 3 RR
$0.08 OOP, recieved 5 RR for a savings of $13.70

      Trans 4:
Mr Clean eraser $1.94 used $1.50/1
Febreeze set refresh $2.61 used $1/1
Febreeze oil refill $4.49 used $1/1
Febreeze oil warmer $2.61 used buy refill get warmer free -$2.61
2 Easter candies (fillers) $0.25 each
used 3 RR and 3 RR
$0.04 OOP, recieved 3 RR for a savings of $16.52

I am loving the easter clearance for filler items!

      • kristie18

Ok, I'm trying to get better at the are of couponing. I love Walgreens but, what is the purpose of the small filler items?

        • Evil Betty

You have to have the same number of items as you do manufacture coupons. RR count as manufacturer coupons so you add a couple filler items so the number of manufacture coupons to items matches up.

Also they are sometimes used to get your total to a certain number. For example, if I had an item that was $2.99 and I wanted to pay with a 3 RR I would need a smaller item to get my total up to $3. Hope that makes sense.

        • meme

The small filler items are to add enough items to match the number of coupons and RR's you are using. Say you are purchasing four items but have six coupons. You will need to add two items so the computer will allow for all six coupons. And the idea is to have the filler items the least expensive as possible. Nine cents is a great filler price. Walgreens is usually the only store that has this requirement.

CVS and Rite Aid will just keep stacking coupons until the balance goes into the taxes. Then the computer rejects the coupon. At this point, you may actually choose to add a smaller filler item to allow for a good coupon to be used.

    • my3girls

I just went to Walgreens and was only going to buy 3 of the Cottenelle and use the coupon from the Walgreens book and (3) .50 off Cottenelle coupons. They would not let me use both. The cashier said the Walgreens coupon was a manufacturers coupon and I could not use 2 manufacturer coupons. Did anyone else run into this problem?

      my3girls

      • Lisa

That is not true, you can always use w coupons which can be paired with manufacture coupons but they are not m c.

        • Mykatielynn1111

When in doubt, ask to speak to a manager. tell them that you read their coupon policy, and that it states that you can pair a manufacturers coupon with ANY walgreens coupon…if they give you heck, tell them to call THEIR manager…they will usually give in and give you the deal…and also, do yourself a favor and find a cashier that DOES like the coupons and she or he will usually not give you a problem. Be sure not to make TOO big of a deal or they will remember you, I promise. I have had this happen with a friend of mine TWICE..and trust me, they will ALWAYS give her heck and give me NO HECK at all…so be nice and polite about it when you do ask questions!

      • my3girls

I seem to always have problems when trying to use coupons at Walgreens
Does it matter what order you hand the coupons to the cashier

        • msivory20

Always do the manu. first then the store :) I've had that problem. But that is ridiculous for them to say that the Wags q's are manu. q's. They don't say that on the coupon and no not begin with a 5 or a 9.

        • justme

I've run into the same problem, make sure to print out the Walgreens coupon policy and bring it with you. Some employees don't know the coupon policy. :)

      • Gatorginger

I did the cottenelle deal and it worked for me because I gave them my manufacture coupons first and then my walgreens coupons. I am usually buying several items so I put all my walgreens coupons at the very bottom and all my manufacture at the top and works every time

      • Kenzbug

Sounds like your cashier is uneducated in Walgreens coupon policy.

      • Harlie_girl2u

This is the ck out coupon order 1. Any $/$$(5.00 0ff 20.00) 2. RR .3.B1G1 M cpns. 4. other M cpns. 5.Store cpns. This is different from CVS. U can call the Catalina Company at 1-888-8coupon select option 3 then option 2. If u have any more problems. Ive had much better luck with CVS. And the cashiers have all been nice and being new to this they have been very helpful. Not once have I felt like they didnt want my buisness.I have made a few rookie mistakes . In AL the closest CVS is 25 miles away in Trenton GA. Scottsboro AL is around 50 or 55 miles from me and Wags
is about 14. Gasden AL has 1 60 miles away. With gas being sky high Im only able to
shop at 1 Wags and 1 CVS. CVS has just been much easier for me. Hope u have better luck on next trip.

    • Lzbacnik

Check out the Renpure Shampoo $ 5.99 with a $ 4.00 RR. Some bottles have 100% rebate. Mail in the rebate and this is a $ 4.00 profit maker. YEA !!

      • Angela

I got some of the hair spray.Regular price was $6.99 but was on sale for $5.99.IT came with the try me free Rebate for up 6.99(So my Item will be free with rebate) and I got the $4.00 RR..Great Way to try an expensive Product….

    • meme

Okay, just a reminder to those who have found the shelves empty (I probably won't even try to actually shop this week). RAINCHECKS, RAINCHECKS, RAINCHECKS!

Please, someone just put that in every few posts so we won't forget about that option.

      • Ami

You can get rainchecks but at Walgreens, if you get a raincheck they will not give you your RR's if the sale is over. EVEN with a raincheck.

    • msivory20

Fellow Wags Shoppers: Be on the look out for random clearance mixed in most of the departments. With the Clearance prices plus my q's I was able to get 3 Reach toothbrushes for $1, and it printed out 2 more $1 q's at the register. Plus some of the Tom's deodorant was marked down to $1.60! Which is a steal :) Also found some clearance sunblock and children's cough syrup. So if you have some time to kill and your q's with you then just stroll around the store and see what you can find :)

      • Mlndm1

I found some good clearance items, I got

        • mlndm1

several U by kotex item free, They were on sale for 2.19 had a $1.00 for each and used my rr's so they were all free.

(would not let me delete post above)

    • Ami

I just love that everyone is complaining about the “Extreme Couponers” and cleaning out the shelves. What I don't understand after I read thru everyones comments below, some people, who I am almost certain, are complaining just stated that they had bought 6 Noxema Razors. There are 3 or 4 in a pack. Or the person who bought the fixodent and did the transaction 3 times. I bet you don't even need the Fixodent. I personally buy one or two items( if it is bogo) of the same each sale. I have 7 unopened packs of toothpaste. But I never buy the store out. And most of toiletries I buy are used to make care packages for our troops overseas. Please, be generous everyone. I know times are tough for everyone. So, if you have more than enough of one item, please give some.

      • Broke and Desparate

Some people have multiple family members they are buying for. I have been couponing for a year and have rarely seen fixodent free. This is the perfect time to stock up on fixodent. I personally have a lot of family and friends who are really struggling. So if it is free with a coupon, I am going to get it. Or if it is a MM, I am going to get it. I always find someone who can use it. And I use the funny money I make(RR) to buy food my family desparetly needs. I do shop at up to 10 different Walgreens as too not buy all of one product at any one store. With this economy, can you really blame people for wanting to buy lots of something that is going to make them $, whether it is funny $ or not?

    • Zrjsval

Walgreens ~ Flowery Branch, GA. The Walgreens Allegra coupon is for 30ct. 24 hr @ 27.99, 10ct. 24 hr D @ 15.99, or 20 ct. 12 hr D for $19.99. There wasn't anything qualifying for $10.99 to use the coupons with so you could get it at .99. Be sure you read the fine print if you try to use these at your Walgreens.

    • Someday273

I see lots of complaints on the shelves being cleaned out… Remember there are a lot of us out there. If I need or want more than 1 or 2 of any item I just go to multiple stores. I only take one (or 2 if you have to buy 2 for the deal) and then simply drive to another store. It does take more time and gas but, when I read these boards I know that I didn't clean out any shelves.

    • lisa

      This is what happened:
      Bought 3 Cottonelle 12 rolls at $5.00 each = $15.00
      Used Walgreen's in store coupons 3 at $1.00 off = -$3.00
Used 3 .50/1 12 roll, made it another -$1.50 off
So, it should have been $15.00-4.50=$10.50
But the nice cashier told me I had too many coupons 6 for only 3 items, so I had to buy a filler item. She showed me the carmel pieces, and said they were the cheapest item in the store at .33 cents. So I did.
I thought the total should be $10.50+.33+.92(tax)=$11.75 PLUS the $4 RR, BUT she took off another $3, making it $8.75! PLUS the $4 RR! So each roll only cost $1.58!

    • Ciara Mcc

I want the $2 off coupon for the Pampers Diapers BUT I don't know where I can locate the “Infant Care Booklet”…the employess at my local Walgreens don't know either. Anyone know??

      • Middlebrooks Dee

I checked yesterday with my local Walgreens and I got the assumption that the infant care booklet is something that they get every now and then. so be on the lookout for them in the future. They do have a coupon booklet at the cosmetic counter for certain walgreens brand products such as diapers, wipes, formula and toilet paper. Walgreens diapers are on sale this week for 5.99 and are just as good as pampers or huggies in my opinion. I got 2 jumbo packs for 4.54 yesterday using those along with RR!

        • Sherriwomack

they usually try to keep one in the pharmacy check out to use for everyone…

      • msivory20

        Here's the code from the Infant Care Booklet: 000 000 05521 5

If you have a nice cashier then they should let you use the code since the Booklet does exist and is in circulation, and it isn't your fault that they don't happen to have any in the store :)

    • pinkie73

I stopped in a Walgreens today and they had the Hartz Ultra Guard Flea & Tick drops on clearance for $2 and $3. Use $2.50/1 q. I got 4 boxes for $2.02. So be on the look-out.

      • stacy

have you every used teh Hartz flea and tick drops before, just fyi i used them once on my cats and it really had a negative affect, they looked druged the next morning and the smell from the drops on their back was so strong it almost started to make me feel funny, i dont remember if it was the ultera guard or not.

        • pinkie73

Yes, I've used them before. I have a small dog and a medium size dog and neither have ever had a problem w/ them.

    • momo2

Walgreens brand diapers on sale for 5.99! If you have the infant care coupon booklet, there is a $2/1 coupon AND there is a new coupon booklet at the cosmetic counter for certain W brands that has $1/1 jumbo pack diapers. That would make it 2.99 and if you have any RR it would be FREE!!!!!! Got 2 packs yesterday for 4.54!

      • Mykatielynn1111

Where did you do that? My walgreens will not let me use more than 1 Walgreens coupon per item?? Can you verify that this will work for anyone? Having 3 in diapers I would SURELY like to know if this will work forsure??? KNow what I mean?

    • Meliindasue

I asked one of the cashiers if you buy the Cottonelle tp will you get back $3.00 RR & she said No its only the items pictured in the green box area on that page! So my question is, is it only certain stores or states that you get the RR's? Or how do i find out??

      • msivory20

Apparently it is a regional thing because my Wags' ad says nothing about RR for the Cottonelle so I just bought one for $3.50 because that is still a decent price for TP. And if you have RR to use then it just gets better :)

        • ozzishep

My WG ad didn't say anything about RR on the Cottonelle either. I did get a $4 RR when I purchased 3 packages tonight. You can get $3 RR if you purchase 2 package but you won't receive any RR on 1 package.

      • ozzishep

I just got back from WG's and it did give me a $4 RR when I purchased the 3 Cottenelle toilet paper. I live in Hot Springs, AR.

    • Mykatielynn1111

I went to Walgreens today to see if the $5 RR would print for diapers for next week's add, and what it actually did was print a $5 off any pampers diapers coupons..

      • msivory20

        Good to know, thanks!

I went to Wallgreens to get the deal of B1G1 Rigtht Guard body wash and they were sold out so I asked for a 6 unit Rain Check and the cashier refused to do it! I told him I was allowed up to 10 items Rain check and he asked me where said that!!

So if you buy 2 of the bic razors in one transaction will (2) $2RR print out at the register or do you have to do them in separate transactions? Thanks!

I would do two separate ones :)

The cottonelle coupons states “one coupon per purchase”. I had 3 coupons for 3 packs, and the register at my wags would not allow coupons 2 and 3. i immediately let it go since it's listed as a month long deal. Has anyone else had this problem? It didn't help my feelings that the customer behind me starting yelling that i was trying to commit coupon fraud. Poor me.

I just got back from WG's and purchased 3 packages of the Cottonelle. The cashier scanned the $1 WG coupon once (I didn't need 3 separate $1 coupons) and it took $3 off my total. I also used (3) .50 cent manufacturer coupons in the same transaction. I think a lot of employees are misinformed about how the coupons work & there are some people who are control freaks and just want to be difficult. You did nothing wrong Car3fan! And the guy behind you….what a jerk! He needs to keep his nose in his own business!!

I found the Nexcare bandages at my local WG store with the rebate coupon for up to $3.99. You can buy 1, 2, or 3 different types of Nexcare Bandages and receive up to $11.97 back. I also had 2 coupons totaling another $1.50 off so I will be making money back on this deal. I have 2 more rebate coupons if anyone can use them let me know.

I just went to walgreens and since I had 4 manufacturer's coupons for the cottonelle tp so I did two transactions of two. On neither one did I get RR. Has anyone else had that problem with the Cottonelle deal?
