The summer is usually a time when things are a little less chaotic, but sometimes it can be hard to figure out what to do with all that time. I think reading aloud is valuable for kids of all ages, and a way to help inspire kids to sit and listen is to reward them with watching the movie based on the book once you finish the book! I’ve gathered up a list of my 10 favorite books to read aloud with your kids this summer, all of which were made into a movie.
