Want to know my secret to the easiest snack? Halos. Everyone in the family loves them, and with 7 of us we can go through a bag in just a few days! I love to bring Halos along on trips. If we’re on a car ride, I can bring along a little baggie for them to put the rind pieces. No need to keep them refrigerated or to warm them up… They’re perfect in lunches or when we need to take a snack on the go.
Why not go against the grain and consider giving Halos instead of candy this year for your kids Valentine’s.
Wonderful Halos mandarins are a healthy alternative, delivering vitamin C in about 50 calories. I feel much better handing my kids a Halo over a sugary packaged snack. Plus, I love that these are a snack my girls can eat independently!
