Thanks for posting early, Jenny. Helps me plan my produce purchases for today vs waiting til tomorrow.

      • Of course!  I’m glad it helps!

    • Kathryn21

I went to Aldi’s for the first time yesterday.  It’s a different set-up than other stores–I had no clue you had to pay for a cart!!!  But the produce prices were fantastic!  5 grapefruit for $1.19!  Bag of oranges for $1.49 and pineapple for 99  cents!!!  No fruit this week, but those are all good produce prices too!!!

      • Yuyu

You get your money back when you return your cart.

        • Kathryn21

That may explain the ugly look the lady gave me when I told her I would take her cart back for her! I thought I was being nice! And I made a quarter when a man took my cart…ok…so I feel bad now like I fheated the lady! But it was my first time so I know better the next time!

          • Kayyak

            LOL Kathryn….. too funny

      • Lana

The produce sales have a tendancy to alternate fruits and veggies.  They are rarely a mix of the two.

    • Shari

I love Aldi.  Just wish we had one in Tallahassee!!

      • Amberasmus

look for a savealot…they’re similar to aldi’s and they’re all over.

    • CYR

was going to go today to get those great fruit prices… didn’t realize my store (Gainesville, GA) starts on Sunday… bummer :(  so I missed out

    • Lana

You can sign up on Aldi’s website to recieve their emails.  The ad will be emailed to you on the day that your ad starts.  Also, the prices and what is on sale varies from region to region so it is best to view your own ad.

they have a app for your iphone or other smartphone.  it is free and you can look at the weekly add.  thought it might come in handy if I needed to price match somewhere.

    • J. Penar

Wow. I’ve definitely been over-paying for tortilla chips.

    • Hey if you bought strawberries last week refrigerate them.

I left mine on the counter and they went bad within 4 days.

      • Lana

I would expect them to go bad in the fridge in about 4 days too.  Put them in a produce keeper in the fridge and they should last 7 or more days.

    • Kate

Jenny, I love that you’ve been posting Aldi. As a college student on a super tight budget, Aldi is one of my most favorite places to grocery shop because of their prices. Thank you soo much! :]

      • Of course!  I’m glad you like it!
