Where are the fruit or Veggie deals for the upcoming week?

      • Stef4life2002

I was wondering the same thing

      • ireneY

Strange, considering it’s the middle of summer. They must get their fruits from South America, where they are enjoying winter right now!

        • LuvCpns

I think they were just omitted from the list. I got Cherries (product of USA), Plums (product of USA, packaged in Salisbury NC which is local for me), Pinapple (that was from Costa Rica) today at Aldi. I’m also on Aldi’s email list so I guess I’ll just wait until tomorrow until I get the weekly ad. This happened once before when there was no Fruit/Veggies listed and then the list was updated later. Just disappointed that they aren’t listed here as the Fruit/Veggie deals is really all I care about at Aldi.

        • Leannhottel

They do not get all the fruits from South America…most come from Florida or California…ask the store clerks or check thier web-site.

          • Kathryn21

            I think you missed ireneY’s joke…

            • Leannhottel

sure did..thanks…hard reading things with a 3 yr old in my ear! thanks

    • Susan Heard

      Does Aldi take coupons?

      • Nellies_mommy77

        No they don’t

    • Katie

I can’t believe there is no fruit or veggie deals!  What am I going to do?

      • Kat175

I think it was just an error on Jenny’s part.  My ad has cherries, blueberries, peaches, nectarines, strawberries, and pineapples on deal this week and everything else matches what she has above.

        • LuvCpns

What are the prices on the fruits since you have the ad?

        • Katie

Thank you!  The pineapples were great this week, along with the catalopes.  I am hoping for some good veggie deals this week.  I went back today and picked up another pineapple…it is so good!

        • CYR

our ad for this week and next week do not have any produce deals listed in the ad (Gainesville, GA)  Too bad too because it has to be advertised price for Wal mart to p.m. and I live 30 miles from Gainesville, but our wal mart will p.m. them… oh well.. not worth the gas money to actually drive to the store…  I hope this does not continue :(

Aldi’s fruit & veggies are always a good deal e.g. This week Publix

Rainier Cherries, 16 oz, at $5.99 ($2.99) BUT I paid $1.79 for 16oz at Aldi’s last week. Prices are always good selection is a little limited and I don’t always want a whole bag of something.

      • LuvCpns

I got the Cherries at Aldi too but at least our other groceries were competitive than Publix. Harris Teeter and Bi-Lo both had them for $1.99 lb.

    • Missdtea

I’m wondering if Aldi omitted the prices for fruits and veggies on purpose so we can’t go to another store to price match. That does take away from their business.

    • Missdtea

If you all want to get price checks on Aldi’s you can go to coupon mom dot com.  She lists the weekly sales for Aldi’s.
