While many stores accept coupons that are linked to their own stores, some go so far as to accept competitor coupons. These would be coupons that are NOT manufacturer coupons, but coupons that say they are to be used at a particular store. For example, Kroger often sends home mailers that include store coupons for items you frequently buy. If you take these coupons to Publix, they will accept them.

Knowing the competitor coupon policies at the stores where you shop can save you even more money, because it keeps you from having to go to a bunch of different stores to get the lowest prices. You can do most of your shopping at 1 or 2 stores, saving you time and money.
