Going Nuts? I can help you understand coupon terms and abbreviations

Here are the differences in the coupon inserts you received Sunday 1/15/12.

Click on the paper near you to see what coupons were actually in the inserts around the Southeast. Check out the differences to really get an idea of what paper is the best to buy.

A few ways to use these lists:

  1. If you see that you did not get a coupon that was released, you can go to online coupon sites and order it.
  2. Print the list for your area and keep it with your inserts to quickly know if you have that coupon.
  3. Use it as a way to decide what paper is the best paper in your area to buy.

A legend for the list:

Black = You got this coupon!
Red = Not in this insert
Blue = A change in value or a new coupon not in the preview.

Jenny, the Sun News link is not the correct one.

    • Glueandglitter

I picked up the Greenville News at CVS and I did not get the Brita coupon.  I looked through that SS insert 5 times trying to find it! That was the reason I bought the paper this week, I typically don’t and just use printables or inserts given to me by neighbors/friends.

      Pensacola Sucks for coupons

      • Maireasasser

        Nope! Alabama has you beat!

    • carolinagirl843

I’ve noticed the last several weeks that the listing for the Post and Courier is not color coded… Am I missing something?

    • Kwic

In tallahassee, we didn;’t get the diaper coupons.  Totally bummed about that.

    • Mbjurgy

What can I do if I didn’t get any inserts in any of my papers? I get the Miami Herald…

      • Vanphi20

Same thing here, I get the Miami Herald Broward Edition and didnt get all the coupons, such as the Brita or the Huggies, not sure what happened :(

    • Sadaivey

The coupons for TN Knoxville are all messed up, with what I actually got Did not get any Scott coupons, the only reason I bought 2 papers this week.

      • Maireasasser

If there is a walmart, you can purchase the paper in there, at least we can here. I always open the paper in front of the cashier, and look through each one to make sure I have the same number of booklets in each one. Just an idea.=-)

    • Maireasasser

My hometown is appx. 40 miles south of Birmingham, Al. ALOT of the time, we don’t get the same coupons, or as many booklets as the Birmingham area. And we are SICK of it!!!!!!!!!

    • Maireasasser

Jen, last week I used the guide   and followed it hoping to get a good deal at Chelsea publix, but alot of the items were priced differently, and well, it just didn’t work this time. I hope it will be better next time I go there!

    • Mimi25

Anyone got a Brita coupon they are willing to share? I could swap some coupons. Thanks

    • Rulrich85

I have a question.  I was  not sure where to ask.  So I just signed up to get the daily newspaper (before I was receiving the Sunday Paper).  Are there enough good coupons to make it worth the daily newspaper?   If so what will I expect to find?

      • Angel in Charleston

Coupons mainly come in the Sunday paper. On occasion, a store coupon may be in the Wednesday paper with the store sales flyers.

    • R_paura

many coupons are regional. i live in texas and i buy a dallas paper and a local one. dallas is always better. my sister gets a houston and her local paper. you wouldn’t believe the differences in the coupons we each get. her local area has also started selling papers from behind the counter due to coupon theft.

    • Maria

Would anyone like to give up their Purina One dog food coupon?  I have many coupons (thanks to the recycling center :)) and I am willing to give up stacks for the coupons. leviandmaria@gmail.com.  Thanks a bunch!
