If you’ve set a New Years Resolution to lose some weight, here’s a great deal.  Weight Watchers is currently waiving their sign up fee of $29.95, plus you can get $14 cash back through Ebates!

This will give you 3 months of Weight Watchers online and mobile.  You don’t go to meetings, but track your points and weight either online or on their app for your phone.   I am using this now, and never had any savings to register so I’m excited for any of you that haven’t registered and want to.

After the savings and cash back the total is $42.85 for 3 months or basically $14.28 a month.

The $29.95 discount is available all month, but the $14 cash back is only for a few days.

If you have any questions about the program, I can try to answer them.  Just leave a comment.

I just registered for ebates through your link above and clicked on the WW $14 offer. I entered my mailing address etc on ebates as well. Is it really that simple? They will mail me a $14 check or do I have to accumulate more points or something first? There’s just not much detail there to tell you how it works. I’m familiar with Shopathome but not ebates and have not ever seen a single-shot rebate like this before.

      • shannon

Nevermind. Ebates just sent me an email explaining that the $14 is a credit to my account and checks are cut quarterly.

Ebates really is easy. The do send you a check. Every time you shop online through their site, you get cash back. I forget to use them alot, but at Christmas, I usually remember and get a check for around $30 or so.

        • They are just like Shopathome except that shopathome requires $20 earned to send a check and ebates only needs $5 to get a check. Shopathome technically sends checks monthly, but I don’t know many folks that that have $20 saved monthly.

If I just signed up as a member last month, will this work to extend my WW membership on my monthly pass account?

We have been talking about doing weight watchers but we are leaving next week for Florida and won’t be back until the 20th. Do you suggest signing up now to save the $15 ($30 including my husband) and just not starting for a couple of weeks or wait until we are back and committed? Thanks!

Jenny, I got curious and subscribed to weight watchers to visit their website to check what they offer. I am not impressed so I cancelled my subscription instantly. The cancellation page says that they are going to refund only $7.98 or so. I requested a full refund because I have not used any of their services. I hope they give me a full refund.

How hard is it to calculate points on meals when you eat out at mom and pop shops or home cooked meals? That is the only thing holding me back is the patience to figure out what the points are per meal

      • They do have recipes loaded in the system, so many times I go in and find the meal I just ate and track it using one of the recipes already listed. If the one I ate was a larger serving or had some extra things in it (like cheese) I just add that in as one item on it’s own.

        For example:
I eat Chicken Parmigian out, and the recipe they have in the system has everything I ate except the cheese. Then track 1 serving of the recipe, and track another 2 oz serving of cheese.

        Does that make sense?

        • geri

          yes! Thank you

Thanks, Jenny. I have been thinking of joining Weight Watchers and this gives me the incentive to “go for it”.

Love weight watchers loss 57 pounds in 6 months I do the meeting but thinking about going to online since the metting cost 40 some dollars a month. I like the with weight watchers it’s really not a diet you can have anything you want just eat and track the key for weight watchers is to track everything with there new 360 program you can take a picture of what your eating and figure the points out later
