*** please do your homework and check on hotel rates for a hotel you would like to stay at first!  I am a FL resident and my husband and I travel around FL a lot. You buy their hotel card and you can only use one per reservation. You must book through them and the vast majority of the rates for the hotels through their site were not the best deals available if you went through the hotel instead (so its really costing you more buy doing this hotel card!).  If they allowed two vouchers then it would be financially worth it, but they dont!  I checked out about a half dozen hotels that I've stayed at in Orlando, St. Augustine, Tampa, and W. Palm Beach and the prices per night were way too high compared to going directly through the hotel. When I scanned several hotel rates in Orlando, for example, I didnt see one that was a good deal, even with the voucher savings.***

guest-Thank you for this info! I thought it may be too good to be true…

i too am a fla resident, and agree with info given. this is really a scam to make a quick 50 bucks. I would take this offer down, its very misleading.

When you go to the site to see which hotels are listed, just click without purchasing to see if your hotel ad date are available. this seems like a great deal.

FYI:  I went to the Florida Hotel Card site and put in several of the most popular Florida destinations–Orlando,  Miami/Beach, Jacksonville/Beach, and  Panama City.   Saturday, Sunday, and Monday were blocked out for every week I checked.  I checked various weeks during summer and fall months.   Hope you have better luck!

Thank you for this info.  It never dawned on me to check dates.  I just assumed that it was good anytime.

this was a good idea. we were going to do a family vacation near home this year and we live in florida.

i looked at the hotels and compared the prices to  other web sites. they were actually 5 dollars cheaper then some other travel sites. this is was near fort meyers and clearwater beach. if you aren't going to miami or orlando, it turns out to be an ok deal.
