This has been a long week.  We found out Wednesday that we have renters moving into our old house next week.  Renting was God’s plan, not ours, so we were not ready at all.  We’ve been painting, cleaning and packing, and then more cleaning for the last three days!  Sadly because of all this my worst nightmare came true and I managed to forget I had a workshop…  I apologize to all that were there.  I don’t know if I will ever forgive myself, but hopefully you can forgive me.

Our grocery budget this week has been shot by fast food.  We normally eat out maybe once a week, and it doesn’t get counted into my grocery budget.  This week though we had two days where we grabbed food twice.  It hurts.  I packed lunches, but then didn’t expect to be painting through dinner, or the other way around.  There are just moments in life that we can’t plan.

As for groceries… when the painting is over things will be dire in our house.  We are down to the last bit of milk (I buy 3 gallons at a time), a few slices of bread, no produce…  I have to hit the store Saturday night at the latest to prep for folks coming over for Resurrection Day Lunch.

My lack of shopping is at least made better by Publix having a longer ad, now I haven’t missed anything and can still get the deals!
