camping dateThis week for Frugal Date Friday we are taking a frugal mini-vacation. Load up the tent and get ready to camp!

A tent is your ticket to cheap vacations. You can stay at most National Parks for less than $30 at night.

Some campgrounds even have pools, mini-golf, and more. This can be a super fun and frugal family or couple vacation. If you want to be super frugal, set up your tent in your living room or back yard. You can experience the fun of camping out without spending money.

Don’t forget to pack the s’mores, hot dogs, and bug spray. Leave the cellphones off and enjoy a quiet night under the stars. If you bring the kids along, they will most likely love it. Go on a scavenger hut and let them help set up the camping area, cook, and more!
