Frugal Date Friday - Southern SaversFor Frugal Date Friday this week, we are going to rise and shine and enjoy the morning! What better way to begin your day than setting aside some time for the one you love?

You can either make your spouse their favorite breakfast at home or go somewhere special.

If you decide to cook at home, it’s perfectly acceptable to go a little cheesy. Think heart shaped pancakes and eggs. It’s a great idea for every kitchen to have a set of heart shaped cookie cutters. You can even serve it to him breakfast in bed style.

If you want to go out, pick a cute little breakfast place. Take time to sip coffee slowly and talk about things other than your kids. Breakfast is usually one of the cheaper meals at restaurants, so it’s a frugal way eat out.

This is a great chance to check in with your spouse and show him how much you appreciate him before the busyness of the day.
