If you shop at drugstores, you can get great makeup at amazing prices. When there are so many options it can be hard to know what is worth the money though. Here are some tried and true makeup products that are all available at drugstores.

Even without coupons, you can look great without spending a ton of money. For this basic makeup bag, we are going to include foundation, blush, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara, lipstick, and nails.

Note: If you like organic products, this is not your list. There are also many higher end products that people love. That is great if something works for you, but the point of this list is to have a great bag of make-up for less than $10 (or $20 if you don’t use coupons).

All of the prices listed are the prices you should pay after sales and coupons.  There are currently a number of printable coupons for makeup.

Foundation – $4-$8

If you’re getting ready for an outing, chances are some photos will be snapped. No need to spend a fortune on foundations that look great in photos. Drugstores often have sales on foundation on top of rewards points.

Revlon Photo Ready – looks great in photos without feeling cakey
Covergirl Whipped Foudation – feels light & a little goes a long way

Looking to add a sun-kissed glow to your complexion? Tanning beds or spray tans can give you the look but this can come with a hefty price tag, effort, and health concerns. Bronzer is a great way to add a slight tan to the face and neck.
NYC Smooth Skin Brozing Face Powder – adds a glow without being overwhelming

Blush – $5-$8

Add color to help naturally enhance your cheekbones. In a blush, I look for color with staying power.

Manicures and pedicures can be a special treat, but sometimes we want something a little more affordable for special occasions. Sally Hansen Salon Effects are a great alternative to the nail salon! There is a learning curve the first time you do it, but they stay on well and look great especially if you put on a top coat.
Sally Hansen Salon Effects – polished strips that are a great alternative to glue on nails
Essie – Fun Colors & chip resistant
