    • Rachel W

Thank you thank you thank you!! I am so excited that you are doing HT now!!!

    • Thanks for covering HT, Jenny. Kelly and I love your site!

Our Tennessee Harris Teeter (Brentwood) has some further restrictions you Volunteers should be aware of:

      1. they do not double internet coupons
      2. the managers frequently override doubling on coupons that say “do not double”, even when they do not have a 9 prefix in the UPC code
      3. we are frequently prevented from using two coupons on a BOGO deal
      4. the POS system matches coupons to items very well, so there is little or no overage to be had

With all of that said there are still some deals to be had, especially triple coupon week (tripled up to 99 cents) and some good BOGO or B2G3 loss-leaders. Also, they regularly offer a good produce headliner.

    • Roberta

Thanks for adding HT, my usual store. Your site is a favorite of mine and I visit it frequently.

    • YMMV, but I have some updated store prices for the Brentwood, TN store. These are the store prices BEFORE the B1G1 is applied. Single B1G1 items will ring up at half of this price:

Pepsi Products 12 pk cans B2G3 Free (With $25.00 purchase) $5.99 ea
      Nabisco Snack Crackers 8 – 10 oz B2G3 Free $3.28 ea
      Lay’s Chips $3.99 ea
Philadelphia Cream Cheese 8 oz $1.79 to $1.89 ea
      Idahoan Potatoes 4 oz B1G1 at $1.39 $1.29 ea
No Yolks Noodles 12 oz B1G1 at $2.39 $1.99 ea
      Ken’s Dressings 16 oz $3.79 ea
Hefty Cups or Plates $2.59 to $3.15 ea

If you have not shopped HT before, take note that the B1G1 discount will not be applied until the end of your transaction.

    • I’m so glad to see Harris Teeter! I was excited when I pulled up the site and saw your HT post!

I think HT must vary by location and manager. My HT will do all of things Jason mentioned they wouldn’t at theirs!

I am new to the Red Plum insert. I just noticed one in the mail yesterday. Do they vary by city & state? I see that there’s a Breyers coupon listed for the Harris Teeter weekly deals. We don’t have Harris Teeter where I live. Is the coupon only available for Harris Teeter stores or is it available for all stores? (Publix has Breyers B1G1 in my area – that’s why I’m asking). Thanks!

      • Jenny

The Breyers coupon is not a Harris Teeter store coupon you can use it anywhere. Most coupons in the Sunday inserts are manufacturer coupons that can be used at any store. I list them when they are on sale at a particular store.

    • Crystal

they can not deny you the use of 2 coupons on buy one get one free, because the items ring up at half price, therefore you are buying 2 items. There are other stores in my area that try that, and I always tell them, well that’s fine I will shop somewhere else and will not be purchasing this cart full of stuff, usually the manager comes over and says that I can use both coupons.

    • Jenny

Thanks for the prices!! I added them to the list.

    • My local Harris Teeter(Rock Hill and Fort Mill, SC) stores have varying policies on internet coupons, so you’ll want to check on that before you go to use a whole stack of them.:-)

    • Crystal

Actually, with regards to the BOGO policy, it is Harris Teeter’s official policy to only accept 1 coupon per set of items. It’s on their website. You can, however, get around it by only purchasing one per transaction.

    • Crista

I live in Wilmington, NC and our HT’s here are GREAT!!!! They do double IP’s (my first shop there I only had IP’s) AND (even though it is corp. policy to only take 1 q. on a B1G1), so far they have always taken two. I’ve even used 3 q’s on a buy 2 get 3 free without any problem. I would have tried 5 but I didn’t have that many! I’ve also never had anyone override the ones that say do not double or triple. Most of the time I have people practically patting me on the back for my good deals and asking me where I got my coupons from! LOL I love all 3 HT’s that I shop at…they have the BEST customer service! So if you live in this area, they are great!!! Oh, they don’t allow overage though…if there is going to be an overage, the register reduced down the doubled amount so that it is even…so you can get free stuff, but no overages.

I do look at the cashiers first and try to get ones that looks friendly or oblivious! LOL I also try to go to ones that I’ve had before so I know how they treat coupons. One guy (obviously doesn’t remember me from shop to shop) always talks my ear off about where I get my IP’s and about my coupon book. I’ve not had any really look at my coupons..they just scan them. I have had a friend have problems with one guy who went over hers with a fine tooth comb, but it was only the one time.

Thanks so much for adding HT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Can anyone tell me how much the Northland juices are (I’m in TN) thanks!

    • Linda

I love HT however, they are getting more strict on coupons. They no longer permit the use of two coupons on b1g1. I have had several shoppers complain in the store about their policy change. Not a good time to change policies because we need all the help we can get during this financial crisis.
