Keeping the kids entertained during the summer has many rewards.  Not only are they having a blast, but you aren’t hearing the dreaded “Mama?  What can I do?” and I personally think when they are busy outside the house stays cleaner!

To help keep them busy and you happy look at getting some simple yard toys that will provide hours of entertainment with not a lot out pocket.  Spending a ton on toys that rarely make it through one summer isn’t wise either.   My go-to for outdoor toys is Fred’s.  They have a large selection, with almost 4 aisles of toys and all are great prices.

Look for staple items like sidewalk chalk & bubbles, balls, even water toys.  Most items start at $1 up to around $5.
