When I first started working on the deals for this week at CVS I was kinda bummed thinking there wasn’t much to grab. In the end though, this was an awesome week! I got $116.90 in products and only spent $9.60 after tax.

A few tips from this week:
- Shopping with a calculator is a must! I use the one on my phone, to figure out exactly how much I have to spend on the deals that require $30 or $10 purchase. I’m a math person but quickly adding $2.77, $3.39 and $4.19 isn’t all that quick… must have a calculator!
- After stopping by the coupon center always stroll through the areas that the coupons are for. I almost didn’t grab the school supplies, but after walking over there and realizing that it paired in perfectly with a ECB deal I went for it.
- Plan out your transactions before going to the register. This saves you time in the end and lets you get things sorted before getting flustered at checkout. It also makes the cashier a lot happier!
