The Forest Acres Kroger (SC) won’t honor manufacturer coupons printed off the internet if it makes the discount more than 75% off the original purchase price. I tried to buy the Atheno Hummus that is on sale for 98 cents (I bought 2 and had the $2 off/2 which would make them free). The cashier told me the policy and I confirmed it with the manager. I don’t understand since they get the $ from the manufacturer, but I won’t be sopping there anymore. If anyone wants to confirm before they go, the store # is 803-738-0225. I think they will lose alot of customers in 2011 b/c of that policy.

    • Sue

      First! LOL

      • Dharvn

    • Ashleyd

When kroger has an unadvertised deal, should it just ring in the register the correct amount?

      • Jessica

An unadvertised deal generally means it wasn't listed in the ad, but it is on sale (and the shelf tag reflects the sale). It should ring up at the price marked on the shelf tag. Kroger has many more things on sale each week than they list in their ad.

        • Ashleyd

Ok… got it. Most times Jenny's unadvertised doesn't match my Kroger (southern ky) that is why I wondered. Thank you though!

    • Afortuna4128

      Third!!!

    • Jill

If I want to buy 2 of the same items and I have a coupon for $1 off 2 of the item. Can I use 2 of these coupons, or can I only use one?

      • Sis2

Buy 4 and you can use both coupons. Buy 2 and you can use one of the $1 off 2.

      • Cwollard

        1; 2 if u buy 4

    • shannon

4th or 5th if you count the questions post! not sure y we are posting this but i saw it and joined in lol!

    • Kspeacher

There is a $1/1 off Weight Watchers Frozen Novelty in the January/February issue of Weight Watchers magazine that will be great with the sale.

    • Cchas

My kroger ecupons is not working…..it says the webpage has expired…..anyone else having this trouble?

      • Betsy

I was having the same problem. I couldn’t even sign in. I ended up clicking up at the top on my account. It has different tabs but one of them says coupons. If you click on that it will take you to where you can load the coupons. I don’t know why it has been doing that for a few days now. I hope this helps.

      • Rebail

Mine too! I hope they get it fixed soon!

    • I’m excited about this week at Kroger! I see a lot of deals to use some of my already printed up coupons! I did take advantage 2x the $4.00 off of the P&G’s last week…but I didn’t find much else I needed…except the eggs at .98…and I forget to even get them! AND forgot to ask for a rain check!!!!

    • erin

I'm in a different region than Jenny (I'm in Raleigh, NC). Could anyone remind me of which types of sale items are the same nationwide? I know my ad is different b/c I'm in a different region!

      • sarahcas

The mega event items should be the same (although the price might be slightly different) other than that, it kind of varies. Some stuff will probably be the same, other stuff might be different. I know produce and meat are usually pretty different but not always. It really just depends.

      • ash

i'm in southwest va and 90% of the time the kroger that i shop at has the same sale items jenny has listed, but sometimes there is a price difference- not much though 10-20 cents usually

    • mecrn1

I sure hope the Extreme Coupon show on a little while back isn't going to ruin it for all of us. It appeared that 2 of the people they featured shopped at Kroger for the show and made me wonder if they would take a little bit of a closer look at what these people were doing to have such incredible savings. I have never had trouble doubling coupons at Kroger and have always been able to get overage on coupons there. When I shopped one day last week, I did not get overage on my item. It showed my 50cent coupon and then instead of saying doubled with the additional 50cents, it said bonus coupon 19cents (my item was 69cents). Is this something new at Kroger? Have any of you ever had this happen? I typically shop at Publix, but do shop Kroger for certain deals and the double coupons play a lot into my desire to shop there. If they stop doubling, I probably won't be shopping there at all. Publix can't be beat!

      • sarahcas

I think they've been doing this for a while. I got some taco seasoning back in the summer for 79 cents (or something like that) but had a coupon for 50 cents off any old el paso product, but when it doubled it just doubled 29 cents. Still free, though. Other than that, I've never had anything weird happen with doubling at Kroger.

        • Beth

This is kind of OT. I used a coupon that printed out of the machine the last time I shopped for .50 off of a 2 litter of sprite. I didn't expect it to double but it did! On my receipt it said bonus coupon too. I was excited to get the 2 litter for .25!!

          • Megan

Do you mean your Kroger has a coupon machine? Like CVS's?

            • CB

I think she means the Catalina machine that also prints coupons.

        • Shelleyschu

I;ll have to start watching more closely on the register screen to see if this is happening. Mostly shop at Publix but like some Kroger brand items better — popcorn and prices on meat and milk.

I'll check out the free stuff and some of the other sale items. The mega event doesn't thrill me. I stocked up on the P&G paper items because I really needed them!

      • Bee

I think it depends on the item and whether a double is making it free with overage. Overall, I use more coupons that do not double (over .50). I always get overage with those. I am more than happy with coupons that simply make the item free.

        • mecrn1

I'm not complaining about the item being free, just really liked the overage going towards other items I didn't have a coupon for.

          • CB

Kroger in Richmond, VA area have always adjusted the double amount down so there is no overage.

      • Superjen

My worry with that show is more people buying coupons from a clipping service etc. It's hard enough to find just two items that are a good deal with a coupon, if any more shelf clearing ladies start up I won't get any of the deals anymore. I already can't go to Walgreens or Rite Aid, at CVS there is still a chance since the ECB card limits the number of items you can get.

        • Joyfulcreations2

I agree:) I homeschool 4 young children and we can't always “run” out for a deal. It is so frustrating when we miss out. And even if I could get there first thing, I just think it's inconsiderate. I think the golden rule of couponing should be “Play nice and share the deals:)” There WILL be another deal on it in 12 weeks;)

          • Dianne L

What y'all need to do is find out the day the delivery truck comes to your local store.Plan your shopping trip around those dates. RiteAid, CVS, Publix, and Kroger will give you rain checks that include the ECBs, UPs, BOGOs, and sale prices. Walgreens will give you the sale price, but not their RRs.

            • Dave

I prefer the rainchecks because then the deal is on my terms, not theirs, and I can save it and use it when it is to my best advantage.

        • Em

At my Krogers I get rainchecks if they are out of the items – you can get rainchecks for Mega sale items …at least here in Knoxville, TN.

      • Katie

The scenes at Kroger on extreme couponing were prepared. They were filmed after hours and they got Kroger to special order the cereal and the toothbrushes. The producers requested they put the toothbrushes out on display to get the shot of him getting armfulls. I doubt it will ruin things for people, seeing as Kroger is in on the ruse.

As far as the doubling only up to the value of the item–I'm not surprised. While overage is nice, I'm not really going to complain seeing as they are still doubling it enough for me to get the item free.

      • Yoohoo126

My Kroger's computers have been doing this for many months. The coupons will only double up to the value of the item. That is why I prefer Publix over Kroger…Publix has lots and lots of store coupons and they still allow overage!

      • ash

the kroger i frequent doesn't allow coupon overage, but hey- free is free right??

        • sarah

I'm not going to be greedy and complain about overage…. FREE is all I'm asking for! :)

      • Rrbarr

Yes, Kroger in Griffin GA has recently started doubling ONLY UP TO the product price (same at our Ingles). They have also started accepting ONLY 2 IP's per manufacturer per DAY. I agree that these silly rules make PUBLIX the BEST!

      • Kelley

My Kroger in Forest Acres (SC) will not honor a manufacturer's coupon printed off the internest if it makes the item more than 75% off the price…so I can't do any of the FREE deals when an item is on sale and a coupon brings it to zero or less than 25% of original price. I am NOT happy! I am not new to coupons, but I am just starting to concentrate on really using them smartly and saving money…I have been shopping at Kroger for the majority of my groceries, but because of this, I don't think I will be going back,

      • Heather

I've been noticing this at Kroger for as long as I've been couponing there – just over 2 years now. I love the overage you can get at Publix, (as long as the cashier isn't a grinch and force it not to double), which is why Publix is my favorite store!

    • Shannon

Anyone else having problems with the ecoupons on Kroger.com? I am trying to open the site, but I keep getting re-routed to an error page that says “Page Expired” … HELP!

    • Does anyone know if the Tyson chicken will run lower any time soon? I have TONS of these coupons. I was wondering if I should spend them all now or expect an even lower price some time soon.

      Thanks!

    • Bee

Yum on the Weight Watchers treats! Those are usually pretty expensive.

    • Amy Johnson

I get frustrated when a coupon is no longer available. The totino's pizza roll coupons are already gone!

    • Dale

      Skipping this sale…boring…

      • Verowan

        Me too!

      • Betsy

I completely agree. I had so much fun with the P&G sale that when I saw this ad, I was totally bummed.

    • With Kroger's 2 IP restriction per shopping trip (at least that is the way it is at the ones in my area), I tend to only run in when they run milk for $1.98. If I'm going for milk, I'll see if there is anything else worth getting while I'm there.

I do use far more non-IPs, but still more than 2, for sure!

      Catherine

      • Fgavent

Don't have heart failure with the increase in milk $. My stores are now $3.09. We buy 3+ gallons a week for my family of seven. It was worth a special trip just for the milk and bread savings but not now. Aldi's was $2.62 last week. Does anyone have a cow for sale? LOL

        • Jnn_horan

If you don't mind milk that is frozen, you could check to see when they have it on clearance…I picked up 5 gals at 1.06 ea.

          • Sheryldavis1670

Just adding to her message… I buy milk on sale and freeze it. It tastes the same as when you first buy it. Helpful tip: Open it and remove a little bit of the milk, leaving the lid loosened, before you freeze it. If you don't it will expand and burst open, you will have a little milk spill over with a frozen mess in the feezer.

            • Katie

I wish I had more freezer space. I only have room for my small chest freezer. I might be able to squeeze in a little space for a gallon or 2, though. And thanks for the tip on opening it. My genius self would NOT have thought of that.

            • I freeze milk in their original containers (gallon, 1/2 gal, cartons) & never pour any out of the top, never loosen the cap & have *never* (knock on wood) had one burst or spill in the freezer. The container bulges a little bit with the expansion as it freezes, but never ever a mess.

            • Bee

The only thing I don't like about frozen milk is how long it takes to defrost. It seems like it takes at least 3-4 days and then part of the milk is fresher than the other part.

Maybe running it under cold water for a while?

I just buy my milk as needed.

            • Oh, & you can also freeze juice too. I love to freeze cheap oj cartons or jugs!

            • Jnn_horan

Running under cold water is the correct way to defrost frozen items. Milk does take about 5 days to defrost under refrigeration …. its all a matter of timing … start with a gal of milk in the fridge and put 1 frozen gal to thaw, so that by the time the first one is finished, the second one will be thawed. (of course, it will all depend on how fast or slow your family goes through milk … we use about 1 gal. per week

        • Katie

This is one of the few things I still go to BJ's Wholesale for. Skim milk is usually $2.45 there. I pretty much only buy milk and craisins there now. :P

        • mom

          GO TO WALMART!

        • sarah

I actually have been finding better deals on milk at our drug stores. CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid. It's an attempt to get people to come in for the milk and leave with lots of other things! :)

    • Amber Renee

there is a coupon for $1 off any hillshire farm lunch meat (8oz or larger) on hillshire's website. the coupon prints with 2 $1 coupons on the page. that would make the lunchmeat 1.99/ea.

    • Sunshine

Does Kroger allow stacking of coupons?

      • Erin

You can stack eCoupons, paper store coupons and paper manufacturer's coupons. :)

        • sarah

depends on your store….you cannot at mine!! The registers will beep!

      • Mandi

Many stores to NOT let you use ecoupons and paper coupons. Ours used to up until a few months ago and now the register beeps. I would test your store out before making a big purchase and expecting it. :-(

    • Debra

I have a pet peeve with people peeling off the peelie from items. One day I seen a lady peeling off all of the peelies on cereal and wasn't buying all of them. I gave her a dirty look, some people are so greedy. Most of the time, I'm just happy to get a b1g1 deal on the items that I'm buying. I sure hope Publix or Bilo never stop doubling coupons, that sure would make it rough on families.

      • Ariel

One good thing is that many of the peelies now say “only valid if removed by casheir”. I was at Food City one day and watched a woman pulling the peelies from regular Eggo waffles. She put Cinamom waffles in her cart. She then went to use the peelies with the cin waffles and the cashier showed her the statement on the peelie and said she couldn't use them. This was reinforced by the manager. People get too greedy at times.

    • Terri

Does anyone know if the tyson grilled chicken will be at a better deal any time soon? I have a ton of coupons, and I was wondering if I should go ahead and use them now.

      • I'm hanging on to mine – not a good enough deal at Kroger but Publix's may come around soon – they just had Banquet and Perdue so it's Tyson's turn

    • Ronjuliemitchell

I can't stand the mega events and trying to keep count of my items. Either make it on sale or don't. I always get errors on this at the cash stand and then I don't get the sale price.

      • Amy

Just a little tip…I try to put my mega event items in the small top basket of the buggy until I get “10” or “4” whatever the deal is. Once I reach my set number, I put those items in the main basket and start over. This is beneficial when they are super busy or if someone walks up and starts talking to me which might cause me to lose my “train of thought” (which is easy these days with my bad mind!! LOL) Hope this helps you!! I started doing this after watching Jennys video where she takes several bags in with her to keep her counts straight. People around here already stare at my binders, so I am not brave enough to carry a bunch of reusable bags into the store.LOL
I LOVE THE MEGA EVENTS AND I LOVE MY KROGER!! I may never walk in another Walmart ever again :)

        • Bee

LOL I love mega events too, but can totally relate to having to count the items. It's a drag.

If I am getting 70 or 80 I usually take my husband and two carts and count in one and transfer to the other. I am too timid to take bags in as well.

      • Palazesi

I use a small basket set inside of the large one to gather my items til I get til the count I need.

      • Juli

I always take in a bunch of reuseable bags…fill each one up with one of the deals (4, 5 or 10, depending on what the deal is), then tie the handles of the bag when I have the correct number. It makes it super easy to keep track of what you have and what you need.

      • Lasmith9454

I also hate the counting. The best way for me to do it is to place a little basket in the cart, and as I get a mega item, place it in the basket. Now, if I get 8 of something, I just put them into the cart, and add 2 items from the basket. This has been my best way yet of keeping track. Good luck.

      • Chiefsangeleyes

Jenny suggests using your reuseable shopping bags and fill up with ten (or required amts ) in each bag. :)

        • Moe

I've found that this works well for me also, just fold over the top of the bag and that way you don't have to keep recounting it and since it's folded over you know that you have your 10 items in there ( you can place something that's not Mega on top to hold your bag down if it won't stay folded down~ I also place all of the Q's for those items on the top of the items in the bag w/ my list of 10 things in the bag :) Hope this helps a little :)

        • Lisa B

Yep, everyone can watch the video here: http://www(dot)youtube(dot)com/watch?v=eEdwG72VVJQ (replace the (dot) with an actual dot)

    • Jane

Has anyone else see FREE items show up in their ecoupon list??? I went to add the pure protein bar ecoupon and there were two coupons – one for FREE kroger icecream and another for FREE nv granola bars!!! Guess I'll be going to Kroger after all! Are these in place of the coupons I used to get in the mail? Just hadn't seen any posts about it.

      • Courtney

my kroger will not allow printable coupons with free items unfortunately. Buy this get that free.

        • Val

It's an ecoupon. The price will come off when her card is scanned.

      • Chiefsangeleyes

        not in mine

      • Moe

        not mine :(

      • HidHooz

When I read this I went back through my E-coupons to search and no such offer for our KROGER's here :( Awesome that you got such a deal!!! And, I don't think unless its new that its a replacement for mailer coupons as those are randomly sent.

    • Faith

My Kroger had a closeout on Betty Crocker fall flavors cake mix and frosting. Cake mix was $0.50 and frosting was $0.75. Use the $0.75/off wyb cake mix and frosting and the $0.50 wyb both Kroger ecoupon and both are free!

    • Heidicreynolds

Krogers in forest va has an amazing sale on tons in organic why don't they advertise it ? I'm really loving this sale typing as I shop

    • Coleman19972000

Is anyone else having trouble loading ecoupons right now?

      • Cchas

yes I had trouble loading my ecupons….never did get them to load:o(

    • Nikki_2

I cannot find the colgate coupon from 1/02.. I have all of last weeks coupons here in front of me… and do not see any colgate!

      • Deanna_ivey

it was in the smartsource, there were two seperate inserts for smartsource in each paper. it was in the smaller if the 2. hope you find it.

      • Sarcasticangel_82

Mine is .50 c off but my kroger doubles so it would be 1.00 any way.

    • Tduganrn

JENNY, DID YOU KNOW THAT KROGER ONLY EXCEPT ONE COUPAN PER TRANSACTION EVEN IF YOU HAVE MULTI. ITEMS FOR THAT COUPAN. HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      TD.

      • Val

Not all Krogers are this way. Mine limits two like coupons per transaction.

        • Valerie_close

That is not corporate's policy. Give them a call, they will call your store.

      • Chiefsangeleyes

Mine in savannah says only two printables of same…but ones from paper, magazines etc are ok

    • KROGER is SOOOOO busy today what with the storm coming in – there were almost all registers open when we went and they were still backed up. They aren't even looking at the coupons, just running them all through and punching in what won't scan! This by no means means “take advantage of them” BUT that you shouldn't have to argue over any! AND we got $25 off from the Mega Event ($5 off 5X) so they are doing multiples on one purchase!

      • I wish that was the case with me, but a few days ago, I was there just before our storm & the cashier had no problem backing up the line & getting all dramatic over two completely legit coupons I had. It was one of those days for me & I didn't have the patience to listen to the nonsense anymore, so I told him to take the items off my order & return my coupons & came home & wrote a letter to corporate.

    • wsk

I have a coupon question. Kroger was so busy today so I did not question the clerk today but I had purchased puddings at 1.00 each. I had a coupon for buy 3 and get one free and then I had a .60/3. The clerk told me I could not use both coupons. I thought those would be ones I could combine. Any know why this did not work?

      • Marygreen_rn

should have been able to use both b/c the free one should have been for your fourth one and the 60cents off the other 3

      • Dianne L

It would not work at my Kroger in Dallas, GA. They refuse to use two coupons on the same deal. It SHOULD work. I have asked different managers at different times about why it doesn't work. I have also told them that these type deals work at Publix, RiteAid, CVS, and Walgreens. They shrug it off.

      • Lisa B

If you buy three and have a .60/3 coupon, then you have essentially used a coupon for each of the three–it's as if you just used three coupons as far as the register is concerned–those three items are now “out of play” for more paper manufacturer Qs. So, using the B3G1 is just like trying to apply another three coupons to the same three items. That's why it didn't work. Such a deal should only work if one of the Qs was a store and the other a manufacturer, or if one was an e-coupon.

    • I really have been waiting for this mega event ! Its not that great ! Will they have one next week this makes me sad :(

      • Joedee98

Don't worry another good one will come around again!

    • Emornout

Has anyone had issues with their ecoupons?? I spent forever uploading them and everything and then I got to the store and they did not work!!!

      • Patty

Be sure that the cashier scans your card before she scans any of the ecoupon items. The computer takes the ecoupons off as the item is scanned not at the end of your order.

        • Dennyfam01

mine worked at the end just fine…

      • Lisa B

Did you wait an hour before checking out? At the top of the Kroger coupon page it says the coupons will be ready for use on your card one hour after loading.

Also, if you didn't get the exact size/style specified that can cause issues.

I have had problems with the Cellfire coupons, so I emailed them. They had ne scan my receipt and email it to them, and they issued me a credit. So you should contact whichever site you used to load the coupons and they will probably help you.

        • june

krogerdotcom was having problems yesterday.I finallly waited until last night and the site was running ok.

      • Nackle78

although it says wait an hour (sometimes 24 hours) mine usually apply right away. However, yesterday, the new cellfire coupons did not come off when I went to the store later last night. Something must be up.

    • Emt13

Just found this site!!! But the previous site I used states the P&G sale 4/$4 is this week….True or not?
      Thanks!

      • Lisa B

Perhaps there is a regional difference? I have found that the best way to verify/double check sale prices is to go to the Kroger website and look at the weekly ad for my store. Often our meat/produce/dairy deals are different than the ones Jenny posts (most other deals are the same).

Or perhaps the other site hadn't updated to this week's deals yet?

      • Mel

        Nope… that was last week.

      • Jnn_horan

It depends on what region you're in. I'm in the southwest region and the P&G sale for us will end on Tuesday. We run Wed – Tues. This new mega event will start for us on Wednesday instead of sunday (yesterday) so we actually get a jumpstart on our shopping list.

    • Mrs.Clack

Good Morning Everyone! I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a Kroger around Greensboro, NC? I have been trying to use the Kroger website for 2 days but each times it says there is “Technical Issues”. Thanks so much for your help!

    • Ann in VA

      Hello,
Does anyone have a good zip code for the .55/2 eggs coupon? I can't find it anywhere.
      Thanks

      • Savemiranda

I can get it in 40701, KY

    • Tleopard79

Quick question, does Kroger let you use 1 paper coupon and an e-coupon on a single product? I noticed yesterday that it happened more than once on my reciept. I am not complaining, I just did not realize that it would allow it. Btw, got $260 worth of groceries for $116!!!!! Thanks Jenny!

      • HidHooz

The Kroger's here in Central VA allow you to stack paper/store and E-coupon so you could have 2 but should you happen to have a paper store you can still use that maxing out at THREE :) It rarely happens though. Some Kroger's have stopped allowing manufacturer e-Coupon & paper coupon stacking but HOOOORAY ours still allows and cheers us on :)

      • Savinlotsamoney

The policy on the Kroger website says you can't use a paper coupon AND and ecoupon on the same item, but you can do just that at the Victory Drive store in Savannah, GA. I have even bought more than 2 of an item, when I had two paper coupons and two ecoupons, and they were all accepted. They even double the paper coupons up to a $0.50 face value (doubles to $1.00) I usually shop at Kroger just because the ecoupons usually make the difference. They usually line up with the sales and paper coupons, too.

    • HidHooz

I live in Lynchburg, VA and I can't depend on the SS prices for our local Krogers its usually different and not by a few cents but, the same stuff isn't on sale at all. Other than that I have good accuracy with the rest of the items with an exception this week that our area Kroger's also has a nice meat sale and has an extra page dedicated to advertising it. (Also Chi Chi's salsa is NOT on sale at our Krogers)

I never saw mention that our Kroger's here had a “earn 10% off” bonus. I earned mine and waited until I knew my order total was going to be the biggest for the deepest discount I ended up saving an extra $22 on top of the $111 I saved in coupons/ecoupons/bonus and PC. The offer expires 1/11.

The Forest, VA Kroger's has an amazing sale on Organics!! Lot's included in the Mega-Event! I really wish they included these sale items in the paper ad but, they said they can't due to the fact that not all Kroger's stock all the Organics that they do. Also, I have never before seen this amount of “un-advertised” deals…..it took me 3.5 hours to shop due to SO much being on sale that wasn't listed.

I have no idea how anyone w/ babies has time to go around the store and list & match the sale items. I lucked out my hubby watched the babes for me because we truely NEEDED/HAD to save as much money as possible!

      • HidHooz

I meant to say I can't use the PRODUCE part!!! I am SO appreciative of the rest of the listing and the printable shopping list!!! I read what I wrote and it ended up sounding negative to me, LOL Not at ALL I LOVE it!! I really wish I could figure out a quicker and better organizational system though….w/ 2, 2 & under I just am overwhelmed w/ the amount of time it takes.

However, I did a little happy dance w/ my FREE toothpaste :) It's the small wins :) LOL and seeing my total go from $290 to $171 well it may seem a waste to some but, in my world I just “extremed” coupon, LOL :) Happy Happy Joy JOy heres to only improving that percentage off!

        • HidHooz

OH, and has anyone else loaded the KROGER APP for androids and Iphones????????? I AM IN LOVE!!!! You no longer have to print out a list of e-coupons for matching size/specification & quantity…It's all right on your phone!! :) YIPPEEE

    • TracyH82

You can also get a $1.00 off 1 Yoplait Frozen Smoothie Mix by clicking “like” on their facebook page!!!!

    • Onecooltngeek

Anyone having trouble printing the .50/1 Green Giant Veggie Coupon. it keeps telling me I have already printed it the max ## of times.

I have tried on 2 different pc's and get the same message.

      thanks!
      Ken

      • Kdavenport

i had the same problem. Go to greengiant.com directly and you can select to print the coupon from there. It will lwt you print 2.

    • Anissacoleman

Same happening for me, and I have printed zero.

    • Ddefore

      Northern coupon is gone.

    • Natalie

      Can anyone answer this question?

Just as an example, if I have a coupon for say, $1.50 off produce WYB 2 boxes of Kelloggs cereal, can I also use another coupon for the cereal? Thanks.

      • JessicaJ

Do you mean another coupon for those 2 boxes of cereal? If so, then the answer is no.

      • If the $1.50 off produce is a store coupon then definitely yes.

If it is a Kelloggs manufacturer coupon, in my opinion you should be able to use it plus two coupons for the individual boxes of cereal because the $1.50 off is off the produce not the cereal. (But I would read the wording of the coupon carefully).

They had some back to school coupons a while ago that were $1 off school supplies when you bought some crackers (or something like that). I had no problem using the school supply coupon plus a coupon for the crackers.

      • Mrshoule

Yes you can. Also if you get the buy 3 get one free deal at kroger you can use a coupon for each item even the item you get for free. I like to use the self checkout you get a lot less hassle with coupons

    • Jbuttimer

The Kroger on L'ville Suwanee Rd. has Bounty 8 rolls on sale for $6.99 (savings $2.80) plus the eCoupon made it $5.99.

      there's also a Kroger e-coupon for

    • Galiza0925

I can never get the coupon for bagel bites. How do I get it?

    • 333save

hi, never had this problem before, but I keyed in my phone number instead of scanning kroger card, then rang up, then gave coupons for the pure protein bars on sale. The coupons would not stack. usually this works for me(had them saved well in advance) this happened with other products too. Anyone else having this problem?

    • Lynnette

I had lots of trouble this week things were not matching up with prices and coupons. Especially the cereal. Only selected general mills (very minimal choices) cereal on sale not all the cereal that was listed on here was on sale.

      • Lynnette

Thanks for all you do to help our families save money.

    • Staasee

Every item I see that says I can get additional coupon for X dollars off at “in store Coupon dispenser” then I go to Kroger, Kroger NEVER has the dispensers, what is up with that?

    • Sandy

Has anyone ever returned a frozen item at Kroger? I hate to do it, but when I got home I realized that the Tyson chicken I bought didn't ring up as part of the Mega deal and I bought two for $9.99 a piece!!! $20 for frozen chicken? I can't do it! Will they just throw it away? I hate to be wasteful… but that price is awful!

      • Couponjillian

I think they'll put it back if it doesn't look tampered with.

I returned some food to WalMart a while ago & wished I'd just taken it to a food bank. After we were mostly done with the process, the lady behind me asked the cashier what they'd do with the food. The cashier said it had to be trashed. They wouldn't put it on the shelf or send it to a shelter b/c of liability when the food had left the store. It wasn't frozen stuff, all cans & boxes my husband had bought. That said, I feel your pain on spending so much on the chicken!

Same goes at Wal-Mart that they will trash a perfectly normal fish if you return it though it is not sick. Down the potty it goes. :(

With both my girls looking up at me, I swallowed my pride and said, “We'll keep the fish in that case.” It lived for a couple months.

If they take it back, they unfortunately eat that cost and it must be thrown away because it is a perishable.

Does anyone know Kroger's policy on the $0.50/2 coupons if you buy 2 items ? I tried to use them today on the Green Valley Steamers thinking it worked out to $0.25 each and they would round up but they didn't. Cashier says the manufacturer must not allow doubling on that item. And that Kroger doesn't double the manufacturer does ??? I paid for it in the end it really wasn't a great deal!

I checked my receipt for you- and mine doubled. It says scanned coupon .50 and then underneath that it says bonus coupon .50.

wow! What crap! I knew she had no idea what she was talking about. Thanks! I wonder what do now ???

Take your receipt to customer service and they will give the coupon amount …..they have been very nice about it here.

Just got back from my Kroger trip. I found peelies on the Weight Watcher desserts $1.10 off each one. Our Toaster Strudel were $1.49 instead of $1.69. I was thrilled to use the $5 Nature Made vitamin coupons as well as the free milk coupon. We actually got the brand name milk, LOL.I also picked up a couple of Coke coupons for future use. They were 1.50 off two cans of Pringle’s when you buy a multi-pack bottles. The 16.9 six packs frequently go on special for $1.98. If I’m lucky I’ll hit a deal on the Pringle’s, too.Old Orchard Nectars were on sale 2.09. So they were 1.09 per 64 ounce after the .50 coupon I printed from coupons.com.Was pretty happy with the frozen mega sale. We were getting low on a couple of frozen items and the kids had not had pizza rolls in a very long time.

Someone told me you could use both an e-coupon and a manufacturer coupon on one item – is this true? The girl at the checkout gave me back my coupons because I already had e-coupons and told me I couldn't have both!

Just got back from Kroger…did one Mega Deal…two .50 coupns on two steam vegs. and they both doubled and got .50 e coupon…2 steamed vegs for .30….also used two .50 coupon on 2 boxes of toaster strudel…they doubled .. plus.50 ecoup….2boxes..toaster strudel for..48….I suggest..having her scan anyway just to see if the register takes them….I had to prove to a cashier at wags last night sometimes the customer is right…LOL

You are really only supposed to use one .50/2 coupon if you only bought two boxes of toaster strudel, etc…so the real total for two boxes after paper and e-coupon should have been 1.48. My Kroger cashiers have tried to use extra coupons for me before, but I stop them if I have already used a coupon for that item.
I have noticed that on some items I can get e-coupon and paper to stack but on others it does not
