I just have a random question… How long did it take you to get to the point where you were only spending $50 a week? Did it take you a little while to get to that point? Thanks!

      • Jenny

It took about 6-8 weeks to get to that point. You have to work on your stock pile and coupon stock and then after about 8 weeks you are doing pretty good. Of course it never hurts to super stock up on crazy good deals that you know you might never see again. I haven’t needed paper towels in ages or toothpaste buy getting them when they were free. As you find more and more great sales the things that you are stocking up goes down too because you are already good for those items.

Do you know of any place that sells cottonelle beside Kroger? Mine quit carrying it…so sad!

      • Jenny

Some in my area have asked Publix to start carrying and they said that they would. If you have a large enough group that will use it then it is worth a try to ask a different store if they will get it for you.

    • Cottonelle and Welch’s have both reached their print limits – I just barely got one of each!

    • Jenny,
RE:CVS coupons and rebate on Natural Dentist Mouth Rinse. Won’t they reject using a $2 coupon on each bottle since the coupon states “DO NOT COMBINE WITH OTHER OFFERS” ? And what about printing out 2 coupons online, do they not consider that “reprinting” the coupon, which it also states is not allowed? New to all this, just wanting to not make embarrasing errors at the store. THanks Jenny for all the help!

I was able to print 2 of both the Welche’s and the Cottonelle coups today without problems. Thanks Jeeny for all your hard work in putiing this site together. My girlfriends at work are catching on and we LOVE being able to save on our grocery bills.

Ingles had No Yolks egg noodles for $1.00 a bag this week, there was a .75 coupon through Smartsource, making it .25 a bag. Also, McCormicks Vanilla extract is $1.99 if you use the 1.00 coupon in last weeks paper it makes it .99.

what is a browser that will let me print coupons? I’ve been on the phone for hours with dell getting my printer working right. Still cannot print them. internet expl is ok. I have wireless laptop and printer, and mcafee. my printer won’t let me change settings to print straight to printer. what else can I do?

      • Jenny

I use Firefox for most of mine and it works great. It is free to download and try at least.

One other thing. I see the wireless part for the printer and laptop. Your entire trouble could be the firewall inside the router you are using. As a test (if you haven’t done so already) can you hook the laptop straight to your modem and straight to the printer and take the router out of the picture. See if it works. Not saying you have to keep it that way, but if it did work you would have at least found the culprit. The coupon printing software and firewalls just don’t mix sometimes.

If you have already tried that… then I guess I’ll keep thinking…
