There is some big news concerning Publix and Bi-Lo! Publix is going to purchase seven Bi-Lo-branded stores in North and South Carolina.

If you’ve always felt like you’ve missed out on Publix deals, this may be your chance to start shopping there!

The Bi-Lo stores Publix is acquiring:

8120 S. Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC
12810 York Road, Charlotte, NC
9815 Rose Commons Drive, Huntersville, NC
158 Hwy. 274, Lake Wylie, SC
Fincher Farm Rd, Matthews, NC
1735 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill, SC
2186 Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC

The deal should close next month. The purchasing of the stores is part of Publix’s plan to expand in North Carolina. If you still don’t have a Publix in your area, hopefully you will soon.

On a side note, Bi-Lo is currently purchasing 22 Piggly Wiggly stores in South Carolina. Harris Teeter will buy also 7 Piggly Wiggly stores in the Low Country of South Carolina.
