Ready to quit smoking in 2023?

You can help test QuitBet, a new gamified approach to quitting smoking.  QuitBet was created by Waybetter (the maker of runbet, dietbet and more).

This is a brand new program that is still being tested.  If you download the QuitBet app and join the next game by February 8 you’ll get started with with no membership cost thanks to an NIH grant.

The next game starts on February 13. Join this game by February 8, and they will send you a breath testing device in the mail that you will need to play and prove that you’ve quit. This device has a $65 value, but you’ll get it for free.

Note: You must be 21 years old and smoke at least 5 cigarettes a day to qualify for the study/game.

How QuitBet Works:

To “play” and be part of QuitBet you will bet $30 that you can go 4 weeks without smoking.

If you quit smoking for 4 weeks, you’re a winner and you’ll get back your original $30 plus win extra money when you split the pot with any other winners!

You will use the breath testing device each day to prove that you haven’t smoked.  You are allowed two positive tests throughout the 4 weeks to still win.

All study participants, whether they are winners or not, will also receive up to $50 in Amazon gift cards for completing surveys during and at the end of the game.
