For example this week we turned a regular meal at our house into “this is amazing” dinner. We’ve made Lipton Onion Soup burgers for years… but adding in a fun twist with Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise and salsa made these different and yummy. Everyone went back for seconds until there were no more left!!
Here’s the recipe for you try:
Lipton Onion Burgers with Creamy Salsa
INGREDIENTS
1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
2 lbs ground beef or ground chicken
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise
1/2 cup fresh salsa, drained if desired
8 hamburger buns
DIRECTIONS
Combine Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix, ground beef and water in large bowl; shape into 8 patties.
Grill or broil until done.
Combine Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise with salsa in a small bowl.
Arrange onion burgers on buns, then top with creamy salsa.
I made them into slider size patties (there was a sale on slider buns) and we also put a slice of lettuce and tomato on each one.
This is a great example of the Best Meals Happen at Home recipes and will be on the table in less than 15 minutes! Hellmann’s Mayonnaise is even on a BOGO sale this week.
