My friend Chelsey is pregnant, so I encouraged her to sign up for as many baby registry welcome boxes as she could just so we could share all the details with you. Over the next few weeks we’ll get an in-depth look at every registry box there is!
This is the final baby registry box that I got during this little experiment. Soon I’ll do a final round-up with all of the boxes and bags and which ones are worth getting so you can compare them, but today I’m happy to be sharing what came in the Babylist Baby Registry Welcome Box. Babylist is less well-known than the other registries I tried, but there are things about it that might make it appealing to expecting moms.
Everything in the Babylist Baby Registry Welcome Box + Review
The final box I signed up for was from Babylist. I had never even heard of Babylist until I started this process, and it is different from the other registries in that you can add items to the registry from the Babylist store as well as from other stores like Target or Amazon. This is great for if you have a lot of unique items that you need that can’t all be found at the same store.
I signed up for the Babylist registry on September 23. You enter in all your information such as your due date and then create an account.
You’ll also get instructions to add a button to your browser so it’s easy to add items from any store. This step is optional, though.
Then you’ll get sent to the main registry page.
If you select the option to give more info about the Hello Baby Box, a little box pops up with a video and also tells you what you need to do to get your box.
In addition to entering your shipping information, you also have to add 3 items from the Babylist store and 3 items from any other store. You’ll then have to pay $9.99 shipping to get the box; but you get a $10 credit to the Babylist store.
As soon as all 6 items were on the list, I was able to qualify for the welcome box. I just had to enter my payment info for the shipping and they said I would get an e-mail when it shipped.
