Here’s everything we plan to cook this week! We have a few repeats this week from previous weeks, but who doesn’t?
Really one of the best ways to stick to your meal plan is to find 10-12 meals that you love and rotate through them. If you think about it that way you would only eat items 2-3 times a month, but not have to stress over always finding new things or keeping tons of weird ingredients on hand.
The sweet part about about this week… everything should be on the table in less than 30 minutes!
Monday – Shepherd’s Pie
A few weeks ago we made a few Shepherd’s Pies and put them in the freezer! So dinner will be a breeze and not make any dirty dishes (that’s really my goal). The easiest and best recipe is Rachael Ray’s 30 minute shepherd’s pie.
To freeze this, put everything together but don’t bake it. Just put it straight in the freezer. I do recommend fully thawing it before cooking when you take it out.
Tuesday – Steaks, Sweet Potatoes, Corn on the Cob
Our produce box this week had lots of corn on the cob that I’m itching to eat! We also have steaks in the freezer from a Lowes Foods deal a few weeks back.
Wednesday – Taco Night @ Church
Week 2 of our Summer Bible Club for kids. We get dinner and have a once a week VBS night.
Thursday – Spaghetti & Salad
This is a rare meal for us. My husband is gluten-free so I tend to stay away from most pasta. However… my younger two children has started asking everyday if we can have spaghetti, so this is for them!
There is a great Target Deal this week where you can get buy one get one video games. The sale is available in-store and online.
There are video games for Switch, Xbox, Playstation, and more included.
