A couple of weeks ago on our weekly Monday night Q&A someone asked what’s one item I splurge on. I couldn’t think of anything particular right then, but when I went to go to bed I saw it right in front me. I have one splurge that doesn’t have a coupon or a deal (normally) but at the same time I feel like it’s a pretty good price.

My splurge is this little container of eye cream.
It’s from Rodan + Fields and is around $71 after shipping and tax. I know you just gasped for breath, it’s okay. Before you judge me, I bought this in February and it lasted until the end of October! So that’s eye cream for 8 months. My sweet friend Megan told me it would last 4-6 months when I got it and I kinda didn’t trust her… but she was right. So 8 months worth for $62 comes to $7.75 a month. Now it doesn’t seem so bad!
It’s about the same price as high end creams in the drugstores, but I’ve never gotten them to last that long. The real reason that this is my big splurge though is that I’m hooked. The cream is amazing. I’ve used eye cream for bags since college and nothing ever really worked. I was able to tell in a week that this little guy and I were going to be good friends. I will gladly keep coming back every 6-8 months to buy another container. If it works and it lasts so long it’s not that bad of a splurge right??
Here’s three pictures to compare.
The most recent is from today and I’m wearing make up so I know that’s cheating, but you can still clearly see bags and lines are gone. Check out other result pictures if you want more proof.
Want to Splurge With Me?
I told Megan that I was going to come out of the closet and confess to my eye cream addiction, and I asked her if she wanted to run a deal for y’all. So… for the next two days she is offering the eye cream for $62 total. She is covering the tax and shipping for you which is around $9-$10 off!
To get this price head over here to order. If you don’t have a Paypal account leave a comment on that site and she can give you other payment options. You do need to order by Friday 11/11 at 5 pm eastern time to get the discount.

Find the Sunday insert preview 11/13 below. You will get (2) inserts in your paper.
Be on the lookout for:
(1) Red Plum
(1) Smart Source
Remember there are differences between every city and the coupons you get will vary somewhat. Check back next Wednesday to get the exact list of what came out in your area.
Look at the insert schedule for 2016 if you are curious about future dates.

Did you know that every area and paper get different coupons?
This is one of the biggest things that can frustrate couponers… we all want the great coupon and only a few select areas got it. Each week volunteers send in their insert lists so to show exactly what came in your area. I take these and put them into the coupon database. In turn you can then have shopping lists that only show the coupons in your area! Take a look at this week’s coupon insert variations from 11/6.
Click on your newspaper to see which coupons you actually received.
If you’re paper is not covered and you’re interested in helping, feel free to email me at jenny@southernsavers.com for directions. I promise it’s easy!
As folks send me their lists I will continue to update this list.
A legend for the list:
Black = You got this coupon!
Red = Not in this insert
Blue = A change in value or a new coupon not in the preview.
