Did you know that every area and paper gets different coupons? This is one of the biggest things that can frustrate couponers… we all want the great coupon and only a few select areas got it. Each week volunteers send in their insert lists so to show exactly what came in your area. I take these and put them into the coupon database. In turn you can then have shopping lists that only show the coupons in your area!!
Take a look at this week’s coupon insert variations from 2/23. Click on your newspaper to see which coupons you actually received.
If you’re paper is not covered and you’re interested in helping, feel free to email me at jenny@southernsavers.com for directions. I promise it’s easy!
As folks send me the lists I will update this page.
A legend for the list:
Black = You got this coupon!
Red = Not in this insert
Blue = A change in value or a new coupon not in the preview.

I’ve never been a big fan of bar carts (our family doesn’t have much need for one) but I’ve been seeing so many beautiful ones lately that I’ve been thinking about different ways you can use them.
This week I received a One Kings Lane catalogue with ideas for ways to use their products. I fell in love with the way they used their cart- as a garden! Fill it with potted plants and it’s whimsical and beautiful. I didn’t find the same cart they used pictured above on their website, but the closest thing they had to it was $500. I also love a cart that Anthropologie sells, but there’s a very similar version at Target for much cheaper!

Use the cart for your tea pot and tea cups to be displayed and then moved from room to room when you have company over. Use a small cart in a tiny bathroom for your toiletries, in your kitchen pantry, or use it for your craft supplies. In our house, I would like to use a cart as storage for my daughters’ Lego Land. They never want to take their legos apart, so they just end up all over their play area. This would be the perfect place for them to be displayed in the play room or for them to roll the cart into their bedroom to play.
Expensive:
Anthropologie Wooden Bar Cart: $498 ($15.95 Shipping)
This is indeed a beautiful cart with the wooden inserts, silver frame and leather hand rest. However, it’s pretty outrageous to think about spending $500 on a cart.
Frugal:
Target Threshold Wooden Bar Cart: $99 (Spend $75 on Home Decor, Get 15% Off +$27 Shipping)
I think I may actually like this option better than the expensive Anthropologie option. The size seems much more practical and I like the darker colors.
More Frugal:
Ikea Raskog Cart: $50 ($15 Shipping)
I realize that this cart looks nothing like the other two, but it still serves as a functional cart. This cart would be more appropriate in small places like bathrooms or pantries or it would hold craft supplies well. It would still look beautiful with potted plants sitting in it. Aren’t a fan of the blue or black? Spray paint it gold, white or whatever will match your home!
How would you use carts in your home?
See more frugal look alikes.
