Many states have a tax free weekend starting today and running through Sunday. If you are in one of these areas, then take advantage of the savings and grab the deals you need now.
On a personal note, I want to also encourage you to think about other ways you can use these supplies. For us this is prime time to stock up o crayons, pencils scissors etc. for our Operation Christmas Child boxes. If you’ve never packed a box, then grab some of the cheap deals now and then grab other deals on toothpaste, soap, and fun kids small toys and you’ve got an in-expensive way to bless kids in 3rd world countries. It’s never fun sharing these, but it’s very important. Today the USDA announced a ground beef recall on National Beef Packing Co. They are recalling 50,100 lb of ground beef produced on 7/18.
More information regarding the specific products and product code can be found on the USDA website. If you believe you have meat affected by this recall return it to your store for a refund.
