Do you ever have a day where getting a shower was the highlight… yeah we’ve pretty much all been there. In the last month I’ve tried to fight days like that head on with a few new rules. Even if we have no where to go, always get up and shower, get dressed and even put make up on. This is really an old fly lady rule, but it’s a good one! Lately for me putting makeup on has also meant jewelry. The goal is to not be a frumpy wife, but someone that is pleasant to come home too…

We eat a lot of produce around here! I know it is important to clean the produce well to limit exposure to pesticides and get all of the dirt off. I have been tempted to buy a solution meant to clean produce a few times, but always felt it was too expensive. Then, I learned that vinegar does a great job of cleaning produce!
It is so easy. You will fill your sink with water and add (1) cup of vinegar. Add your produce and let it sit for 10 minutes. The water will be dirty, showing you that this works! Next, you will rinse your produce and sit it on kitchen towels to dry.
