Easter is right around the corner! Thankfully my little ones are more than willing to help me decorate! Here are some fun craft ideas that I would like to try with them. These colorful crafts give the kids a chance to help make our home beautiful even on a tight budget.
These stain glass windows are mess free craft and easy for little hands to manage. All you need is 2 large sheets of contact paper, small pieces of tissue paper, two pieces of black construction paper cut into the border shape and a little tape. These would look great hanging in our sun room windows!
My favorite crafts are ones that make use of items that we already have floating around at home. This cute little chick is made out of an old toilet paper role, which we have plenty of at our house! Our girls have quit a collection of paint and paper so all we will need to pick up is googly eyes and yellow feathers. I imagine this little guy will be carried around and played with rather than left to sit as a decoration.
Resurrection Eggs are a great way to remind your little ones what Easter is all about. You can order these prepacked with little plastic pieces but I think it is lots more fun to put together a set yourself with things from around the house, plus it’s free! I shared how to make them in a post recently here.
