Here are all the deals starting Sunday 2/3 at Kroger. There is no Mega Event this week, but they are running a 50% off sale. I’ve gone ahead and put the items in the main category that you would find them in the store to make shopping easier.
Heads up: In case you haven’t heard Kroger corporate announced this week that the Ohio region stores would no longer double coupons. That makes for two regions now (Texas and Ohio) that have made the switch. So far in the south there is no talk of stopping doubles. Many of you have asked for my take… while I do not pretend to know corporates plans I can tell you from a marketing stand point in the south east it would be a bad move. Most every grocery store in the south east doubles coupons so for Kroger to stop they would no longer be competitive with other stores. Outside of the south east though, very few stores double coupons so the need to continue is not as great. We’ll have to just wait and see what happens and continue to enjoy doubles for now.

It may be Groundhog’s Day, but I still have some First of the Month printables for ya! The following are all from Pillsbury.com.
If you’ll notice, many of them are similar to some from Coupons.com, but with higher values. What a score! Remember your store’s doubling rules though; if you’re a Harris Teeter shopper the .75/1 cereal coupons from Coupons.com would be a better way to save because they become $1.50 off after they double!

BettyCrocker.com also had many of the same coupons, but to save you from repeating this list I just included these two coupons that Pillsbury.com didn’t have:

.50/2 Pillsbury sweet rolls printable
We managed to pull off our second week of no shopping except for a quick run to get milk. I’m amazed at how much milk we go through and I think when we move we should get a cow…
To help cover the cost of the milk I grabbed a few money maker south beach snack bars. I grabbed two boxes of bars that were a $3 money maker and paid 57¢ for milk in the end! I feel like at least once a day someone emails to ask how to save on items that don’t have coupons, well looking for things that make money is great way to do it. We won’t actually eat the South Beach bars, I think they are yucky and for my husband they aren’t gluten free. So they got donated in a bin at the front door of the store, and we happily walked out with our 57¢ milk.
How did you do this week? Leave a comment or a link to your savings post. If you took any pictures use hashtag #SouthernSavers if you share them on instagram and they will show up on our facebook page as well!
