Can you feel Summer coming to a close? I know it is as we’ve started school again, but I’m not ready to go back to the craziness of the fall yet either. Nestle is coming through to make it fun and easy for all of us though. They have some awesome giveaways for you, plus some tricks and tips to save money and time.
Right now Nestle’s website has a fun calculator to help you decide what kind of snacks to prepare depending on the event and how much time you have to spend. It ranges from “mom time” to “hang-out time” and you can choose 1 minute, 5 minutes, or 20 minutes. It’s a really cool calculator if you don’t want to spend all of the time you have preparing a snack when you could have been spending it with family.
Nestle even has a couple of coupons to satisfy your appetite with great products like Juicy Juice and Carnation Breakfast Essentials. One of the coupons is for $1 off any two (2) Nestle Juicy Juice products. The other is $2 off (1) Carnation Breakfast Essentials Nutritional Drink when you buy any one (1) box of Skinny Cow Chocolate Candy.

If you ask my girls their favorite animal, they’ll always answer “ponies or horses” so, I’m constantly on the lookout for quality pony toys that they’ll enjoy. I recently was introduced to a toy line called Pony Royale that has beautiful ponies and accessories that my girls love!
Pony Royale sent my girls ponies and a dressing carousel to try out for themselves. The idea behind Pony Royale is that two princesses with matching royal birthstones were born at the same moment. Once of the princesses is your little girl, the other is her pony. It’s a fun way for my girls to take pride and ownership in their ponies when they realize they share birthstones.
The ponies come with extra accessories for them to mix and match while they play. Each pony comes with a paddle brush and an extra mane and tail in a different color for you to switch out, and you can exchange the saddle and crown of one pony with another.
The Pony Royal Dressing Carousel is the perfect place for your girls to store all of their extra accessories! The carousel comes with 2 pony skirts, and has a place for everything! There are mirrors, a secret hiding place, somewhere for the crowns, saddlettes, jewelry and skirts, and even a place to hang the saddle blankets! It expands out to 2 feet wide, but folds into a 7″ Carousel which makes for easy storage… it looks really pretty just sitting on top of their dresser.

Last week Dollar Tree started taking coupons. I know that many of you found the process time consuming and frustrating to say the least. There are some great deals, you’ll just need to be patient as their staff figures out how this works. This is pretty much the same list with updated coupons and a few extra deals that folks found last week.
Keep in mind you are going to find a different stock at most every store, also be patient and take a copy of the new coupon policy with you these first few weeks as the cashiers learn everything.
Warnings:
As I walked the stores near me I noticed that many times Dollar Tree does sell a name brand product, however it is a size package that you will never see in another store. A great example is the Hefty Slider bags below, they sell a 6 ct. freezer bag box where you’ll normally find a 22-24 ct. box in a grocery store. Make sure that you are comparing the unit size not just the brand name when buying deals.
Also please check expiration dates on food items! I found hamburger helper that was good for a year right next to boxes that expire next month.
Lastly don’t forget that you only get 2 printable coupons per transaction. They are sticking to this in every store!
