Strawsome is a really cool green company that offers fun, safe and reusable drinking straws for people of all ages – making it easy to go green! The straws are beautifully handmade in their workshop in Michigan. Strawsome’s mission is for their customers to embrace their glass drinking straws instead of plastics and reduce the use of non-biodegradable plastics being dumped in landfills every day.
They sent me their Mega Straw Set to try out for myself, and it comes with pretty much any straw shape or size you could ever need. You’ll get 9 different straws and even 2 cleaning brushes so your straws will be nice and shiny for the next time you use them. Want to help your kids eat more fruits & vegetables? Make it fun with a green smoothie and a glass straw.
Strawsome also sent me a set of 4 kids straws. They’re like bendy straws that are permanently bent… perfect for my girls to sip their milk with. They even come in really cool colors, so everyone can have “their own” straw.
You’ll find that their straws are a bit more pricey than your average plastic straw, but just remember how much longer they last! You don’t just throw these beauties away after the first time you use them. You can find straws for around $5-$7 in the Clearance section, so you may want to take a look there. Not only do they have a straw for any beverage you could want, but you can also customize, personalize, even engraveyour favorite straws.

For a lot of us, back to school season means the start up of a lot of busy schedules. With everyone’s busy schedule, I like to spend less time in the kitchen and more time with the family.
Enter Michael Angelo’s family size meals. They’re not only quick and easy, but they’re awesome meals that I don’t feel bad serving to my family. Since we like to eat a lot of fresh produce and meat around here, we don’t make a ton of frozen meals. But when I’m in a dinner crunch, I actually look forward to being able to enjoy a night off with a great result in the end.
I love that their entrees are shipped to stores within 36 hours of being made. It eliminates the time that a lot of frozen meals spend sitting in a warehouse freezer, leaving the freezer taste. Unlike many frozen food companies churning out thousands of meals that go into storage before being shipped out to stores, Michael Angelo’s makes their meals in small batches only after receiving store orders.

The Healthy Steps Portion Control Dressing Cruet helps us make homemade dressings with just the right portion size at with our dinner. Thanks to the Cuisipro Herb Keeper, we don’t have to worry about our herbs going bad right away. It’s so nice to flavor our recipes with fresh herbs instead of added fat and sodium.
