If you haven’t already joined Upromise, now is the time!
Right now, they are offering a $5 gift card to Target, CVS, or Barnes & Noble when you sign up.
After you join, make an eligible purchase through one of the thousand online participating retailers and they’ll send you a $5 gift card. Purchases must be made within 14 days of joining. This works like a cash back site, you are earning money towards college when you shop online!
The main reason to join (besides $5) is for their eCoupons. This is a way to save even more in the grocery store!
Upromise coupons are a little different than the other e coupons:
1. You can use them at almost any store!
2. The money does not come off at the register but is put in your Upromise account.
Can I use a coupon too?
Yes! These are not tied to coupons or discounts in the store.
I don’t have a kid…
Not a problem. We had a Upromise account for almost 2 years before our kids were born. Once we had kids we went in and changed it our of our names to our kids names. Grandparents can also sign up and have it go to their grandchildren! We have 3 sets of grandparents all saving a little bit for our kiddos. You can change the beneficiary at any time.

Old Navy is having a 75% off clearance sale! This is a great way to save money on clothes.
To save even more, there is a printable coupon for 20% off any item on their Facebook page under the hottest ticket tab.

If you grabbed the awesome deal on the Little Step 2 Patio Set from JcPenney earlier this week JcPenney released an update on Facebook:
“We apologize for the recent incorrect pricing issue for our step2 patio and shade play set. Due to the pricing error we had an over abundance of orders placed. We will be honoring the price of $15 with a limit of one per customer until our stock has been depleted. We will be contacting all customers to inform them of their order status.”
I’m glad to see JCPenney honoring orders and congrats to those of you who got a great deal! Be on the look out for your order status update and hopefully they will have enough stock for most people to get one.

One way to build up your coupon stash, is to watch for rebates where instead of getting money back, they mail you coupon booklets!! Johnson & Johnson has a new one for a $46 booklet if you spend $50 in Johnson & Johnson products by 3/8/2012. While that may sound like a lot to spend, remember that rebates are almost always before coupons.
There are a ton of new printable coupons for Johnson & Johnson products on Smartsource. And there will be Johnson & Johnson coupons in this Sunday’s Newspaper (check out the coupon preview here), which will help you qualify for the $50! Also, remember that they make a ton of products like Aveeno, Band-Aid, Clean & Clear and much more.
Hang onto your receipts over the next few months and challenge yourself to see how little out of pocket you can spend to get the coupons!
This special offer starts 1/8 and to download the mail in rebate you will need to register.
