Want more Huggies Coupons?

The word is that the Huggies coupons on Coupons.com have been reset, meaning you can print 2 more of each if you already printed yours (if you printed yesterday maybe not, but if you printed these when they first came out then go get more!)

You can get another 2 more of each coupon at Redplum.com

Total that gives you 6 of each coupon!!

Remember the codes on these will work for any type of Huggies diapers.  I stand corrected on the wipes…  So far there are comments that they are working at Target without beeping, they are beeping at Wal-Mart but the cashiers are pushing them through…

Having 6 coupons lets you do the Walgreens deal starting tomorrow twice :)  Make sure to not use the Register Rewards from the first deal to pay for the second deal (the second register reward won’t print).

    Ice Cream Treats!

If you are going to be out and about this weekend grab some free ice cream!!

Go here and print a B1G1 coupon for Baskin Robins

Print this coupon and bring it to your local Baskin-Robbins store to receive one Sundae of equal or lesser value with the purchase of any Sundae.  Good through 03/28. (Thanks Hallie!)

Or wear your Pajamas to Bruster’s tomorrow and get a FREE single scoop ice cream cone at participating stores.  I would call your store first to make sure they are participating before wearing your PJ’s around town for no reason.

Don’t have either of those ice creameries?  The next best I do for ya, is 1/2 price smoothies every day from 5-6pm at TCBY.

Just giving you a heads up that I have loaded new workshops that have plenty of open spots.

If you are near Thomasville GA, or Charleston SC don’t miss out.  I am also working on classes in Greenville SC and plan to return to Atlanta May 9th so keep checking back for those workshops.

I’m excited to bring you a new side to Southern Savers.  I am teaming up with Christy from Southern Plate.  We are going to teach Southern Plate how to save money on groceries and they are going to teach us fabulous recipes to use the items we have stockpiled!  It will be great to add a gourmet flare to all of our free groceries and hopefully we can gain a few more converts to the right way of shopping.

To get us started… How many cans of biscuits do you have filling up your freezer (yes canned biscuits freeze great) and fridge??  Here are two great ideas to turn all those biscuits into something delicious.

          1. Boston Creme Pies

          You will need:

          1. Canned Biscuits
          2. Sugar Free Instant Jello
          3. Lite Cool Whip
          4. Vegetable Oil
          5. Milk (she uses Skim or Low fat)
          6. Chocolate Frosting

These are reported to taste better than Krispy Kreme.  That sold me!  Go here to see Christy’s directions.  You will see step by step what to do, or scroll to the bottom to see just the recipe.

          2.  Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts

          You will need:

          1. Canned Biscuits
          2. Vegetable Oil
          3. Margarine
          4. Cinnamon
          5. Sugar

My kids will love these!  Don’t have a doughnut holer thingy do?  Check out her tip of what else you can use.  You have no excuses now.  Go here to see Christy’s directions.  You will see step by step what to do, or scroll to the bottom to see just the recipe.  I plan to also do these with just powdered sugar, we have a lot of that lying around from the .16 cent sale last December…

                  More Food Lion Coupons

                  on 2.28.2009 at 5:32pm
                  2 Comments

Food Lion coupons are wonderful and I don’t even shop at Food Lion.  There is a whole new set that I have added to the running list of coupons.  Most expire 3/31 and a few are manufacturer coupons (though most stores still enter these as competitor coupons because they do not scan).

                  Here is the list:

.55 off (1) Quaker Instant Oatmeal or Oats
                  $1 off (1) Quaker Fiber & Omega 3 Bars
$1 off Hidden Valley Ranch 16oz or larger
.75 off any Orville Redenbaucher’s Smart Pop Pop Corn
$1 off General Mills Banana Nut Cheerios
$1 off any Vaseline product 10z or larger
.65 off and Wish-Bone Salad Dressing
                  $1 off (1) Egg Beaters
                  .50/1 Shedd’s Country Crock Spread
                  $1 off any (1) Slim-Fast Optima Shakes

While nothing is on sale this week at Publix, their is one match up with Food Lion deals.  The Orville Pop corn is B1G1 at Food Lion this week, this coupon makes it .75 cents each.
