I know that only a small drop of readers got to attend Becoming this past weekend, but I wanted to take the time and show you what everyone else missed and thank our awesome sponsors that helped make the weekend possible.

First what did you miss:

A weekend filled with awesome women, laughter, fun, learning and rest.  Everywhere you look at Ridgecrest there are rocking chairs overlooking the mountains, the rooms have no TV (there is wi-fi though) and most of us had no kids.  Peace…

We heard from amazing speakers like The Nester, Angela from ButtonBird Designs, and a mom of 11 kids (plus Jen and myself but you knew we were there).  I could have used one on one time with each of them, they were each so passionate and had amazing things to share!

Many of you asked for notes from various sessions.  I know Angela already posted her “How to Paint Furniture” session and here is a link to just the outline from my keynote on becoming content.  We’ll try harder next year to figure out ways to record sessions since that has been the #1 piece of feedback we got.

Now to our sponsors:

For Jen & I this was a first, and we really went in blind on what it costs to run a conference and the amount of work required.  There is no way we could have done it with out the three companies that stepped up and saw our vision for getting women together to talk about anything and everything they want to become.

I would love for all you to check them out and show them just how awesome they are!

Coinstar, the leader in coin converting, helped us all see the value in the little things.  A big take away we learned… remember that you can always convert your change into gift certificates to local and online stores and pay NO fee!  Find a location near you.

Savings.com is an awesome place to find online coupon codes, and a community of other “savers” gathering deals from around the web.  They are also on a mission this year to save America 1 Billion dollars, so take the pledge if you haven’t already.  The fun part to me about Savings.com is that you can set up your own page to follow just the deals you want to see!

Blessings Unlimited shined with their gorgeous home decor and wonderful message.  This is a wonderful company that is also a great way for women to make some side money working from home.

We also have to give them a huge thanks for the beautiful bags that they donated, we had people that worked at the conference center trying to figure out how to buy them!  I also loved that at the end of the weekend they gave away everything they brought!!

Now on to next year!

We already have the dates so pencil it in so you won’t miss out.  September 21-22nd, 2012 at Ridgecrest in Asheville NC.  We will open up reservations in early 2012.
