Pottery Barn's Christmas decorations are lovely, but I'm always up for a cheaper option!

The weather has cooled off (for now) in South Carolina and we’re already thinking about Christmas decorations in our house.  Here’s a Pottery Barn look alike to help get you in the Christmas spirit.

Here's a Pottery Barn look alike just in time for Christmas. Huge savings!

Expensive:

Lit Mercury Glass Tree: $138 ($8-$14 Shipping)

These trees are sold separately, but I went ahead and lumped their price together to make it the same price as the frugal option.  If you were to buy the same 3 trees from Pottery Barn that come as a set from the other store, it would put you back $138.  These trees are the mercury glass and the title says they’re lit, but they don’t even come with lights.

Frugal:

Twinkling Mercury Glass Trees: $43.86 ($9.47)

QVC has a look alike available and it’s such a better deal!  First of all, this is a set of three (even cheaper than only the large tree from Pottery Barn).  These trees come with lights already included and they come with a timer!  This sounds like a pretty awesome deal to me.

These trees are more of a gold than the Pottery Barn trees, but you could always paint them.  You can buy a mercury glass can of spray paint to get the look you want.
